Issues when a cross platform android app is run on Blackberry 10 alpha simulator

I am facing problems in running a cross platform android App in blackberry 10 Alpha simulator.The App works fine when run in iphone,android devices.But when I run it in blackberry 10 it doesn't load the template files hence a blank screen.The project is based on backbone framework hence template files.Currently the files are local in my hard-disk. I am loading the templates using an ajax call. The logcat output generated of the same is listed below:- 02-08 05:30:51.861: D/CordovaLog(233525377): {"readyState":4,"responseText":"","status":404,"statusText":"error"}
I have added in config.xml file . Is there anything else I am missing to make the app run on blackberry 10?? I had the same issue with nook HD which was avoided by using super.appView.getSettings().setAllowUniversalAccessFromFileURLs(true); in the onCreate method.But since blackberry uses 2.3.3 of Android,I am unable to add the same settings. Please let me know If I am missing any specific configuration related content for blackberry 10.Thanks

This issue can be caused when MAC address filtering is enabled on the Wi-Fi network, and the MAC address of the BlackBerry Playbook is not accepted. Try adding the MAC address of the BlackBerry Playbook to the accepted MAC address list for the Wi-Fi network and test.

Billing issues when trying to download an app

Hey I'm having a lot of issues when trying to download any type of app all of a sudden is asking me to update my billing information and when I enter it, is giving me the "invalid security (cvv) error" and im verifying all my info name, address, everything and is still not letting me save it and/or download any app...

as of now I don't the iTunes store accept the Debit card or a pre-payed card as a payment method, you will really have to find out another type of card which should be a Credit Card.

Anyone have constant freezes when the Creative Cloud Desktop App is running?

Having a rather odd issue. I'm on CC 2014 latest versions. Mac OSX 10.9.5. Mac Pro 5,1 (12 core x 2.93, 32GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 680).
Having total system freezes (no error messages or kernel panic) when the Creative Cloud Desktop App Manager is running on a wired Ethernet Internet connection. Strangely, I get no freezes if I use wifi for my internet connection. If quit the desktop app, the freezing stops, as well. It's definitely locking up due to contacting Adobes servers in the background,
I did notice lots of errors by the Creative Cloud Application manager in the console, but apparently they are benign when using wifi. I'm guessing there is some kind of network conflict at play here, but I have no idea what Creative Cloud is doing in the background when contacting Adobes servers repeatedly.
Anyone else seeing anything like this?
Using wifi is an okay workaround, but I'd rather be on gigabit Ethernet.

Hi Elba, Thank you for your time and effort in researching this. Unfortunately, the above method you describe is more than a little awkward. When one shows the Downloaded window, as you illustrate, that greys out all the individual categories. So, if I were looking for brushes, I'd have to check if I already had it by going to the downloaded window, then navigate back to brushes by first going to Featured or Recent, and then to Brushes, (even All Categories is not clickable, though it looks active). I'd also need to have a very, very good memory, or be going back and forth very often, with how close some brushes appear, and how similar their names are.
Instead, in a browser window, I go to my library from my adobe.com page, so I can see what brushes I have while the window where I can download brushes is open:
However, this still seems awkward to me. Adobe could grey out the icons to indicate they had already been downloaded, while still allowing them to be clickable and downloadable. I guess more code would be needed. I see examples of this every day in both Apple's app store, and Google's play store. For that matter, even the Adobe CC desktop app itself informs me of what Desktop Apps I have installed on each computer, and even whether they need to be updated. I guess, though, the situation for all of those is a bit different, not being quite so cloud-based.

Converting Android apps to run on Windows 10 (phone)

I used to develop Windows Phone 7 apps but moved over to Android a couple of years ago. I have a half dozen apps now on Google Play. I read in the WSJ today that Microsoft has developed some kind of porting software that will make porting of Android
apps to Windows Phone 10 reasonably easy.
I'm imagining some kind of virtual machine like VirtualBox. That kind of thing can be viable but I'm wondering about apps that use things like everything in the Google Play Services Library. All of my apps use Google Cloud Messaging and
Google Maps V2 along with in-app products both consumables and subscriptions.
Is there anything published that discusses any of this?

IPad issues when trying to go to App Store

I tried to download a new app from the app store, but the app store on my iPad only has images and the wording overlays itself so it looks a blur for all descriptions. The last time I downloaded an app was in Dec, and when I tried today, it looks weird, then just shuts down. Has anyone else had this issue?

Try reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

"iOS update required" issue when trying to sign into App Store

My friend has sold me her Ipad 1. iOS 5.1.1 already updated.
When I use my Apple ID, i cannot even sign into the App store on the Ipad. Keeps saying "iOS update required" though the ipad is updated. I have changed regions on Apple ID with no luck.
This error also occurs when on the Ipad i try to setup automatic downloading. She can use her Apple ID no problem. Please help!

How to get stems (or splits) when working cross platform.

not sure how useful this is for some of you, but nearly ever artist i'm currently writing songs with uses some other program, so this is a huge time saver for me.
an audio engineer friend had offered to mix my recordings i'd been making. he is fluent in pro tools, has some great outboard gear, and didn't want to mix in garageband. the only way we could figure to get my loops i'd created into his computer, was to solo each track and one by one export to itunes. try doing this with 15 tracks on a 5 minute song, and you'll soon realize what a waste of time it is.
fast forward to this morning, when a co-worker and i were chatting about what locking tracks does for the performace of playback. we locked every track on a huge file i had (and let it play down). we right clicked on the garageband file, and selected "show package contents", and low and behold, in a folder named "freeze files" were each track bounced as an aif.

To add to your experience: If you look into the "Media" folder, you'll find the uneffected audio files - if you want to do the mixing in ProTools and add effects there, it might be the better way to use these instead of the mixed down tracks that you find in the "Freeze Files" folder.

Cross Platform Organization App?

Throughout the day I sometimes come across things that I want to remember for later such as websites, thoughts, pictures, etc. I'm looking for a way to put these things in one place that I can access from a windows machine at work, my mac at home, and my iphone. I've looked into MobileMe but I can't justify spending $100 for something that I'm only going to use at most a couple of times a week. I've also looked into Bento which is a little more reasonable but its still a little expensive. I've been using the Notes app in my iphone but it doesn't really allow me to organize things in any logical manner. I've also taken to e-mailing myself web addresses and notes. Again this is kind of a pain at the end of the day. Is there anything out there that can do these things that I don't have to spend a lot of money (if any) on?

I guess I'll give it a try. It has a $5 subscription fee which isn't that bad. But then again I'm paying some one to just store my data on a server somewhere. Thanks for the tip.

I have unlimited data but I am still curious to see how much data I have used since I activated the service. #DATA does not work, the Data Usage widget does not connect , and the data usage counter does not appear to be viewable online.

Thank you for your inquiry. I would suggest contacting Prepay customer service at 888-294-6804 about the My Verizon application to see if it is compatible with prepaid. For checking your data usage, you can actually call #MIN and you would get information about your minutes and data. #DATA will route you to customer service and you can check data thru the automated system. Categorizing issues when moving Elements 10 from one PC running XP to Windows 7

I purchased a new desktop that is Windows 7 based and had to reinstall Elements from XP. I saved all my 13,000 photos to an external drive and then downloaded them onto my new desktop with Elements 10. I noticed that the photos were NOT categorized. How do I correct this?

Thank you for this information. I am currently performing a full backup of my photos (13,000 photos) to an external drive from my old PC (old PC is about 5 years old). So far it has been running about 24 hours. Do you have any idea how long it should take for this many photos to be backed up on a PC that is this old? Any guidelines would be appreciated…..

Ok, I made an app for Android. And when we push the middle button or back(lefthandside) button of Android phone, we all know that Android apps still runs in the background.
So my code is this:
the first line(addEventListener) is in a private function which runs as soon as you open the app.

Basically, I want saveProgress() to run when the app ACTUALLY exits from running in the background. I noticed that my app actually exits when I open another app like Candy Crush. I guess the Android OS exits apps automatically when the apps are not being used and when the app you are using takes a lot of RAM. However, my code only works when I run my app in AIR Debug Launcher(Mobile). I know that because I see the trace in the function in my output window when I click on the x button on the right corner of the app window. But when I connect my Android phone to the computer and then ---> AIR3.8 for Android settings ---> Publish, and then I "Begin Remote Debug Session", and on my Android phone, I open my app first, then open Candy Crush so that the Android OS automatically exits my app, I don't see the trace. So I finalized that the code didn't work on my phone.

When doing cross platform transportable tablespaces, there's a know limitation with "Opaque Types" which read:
Opaque Types Types(such as RAW, BFILE, and the AnyTypes) can be transported, but they are not converted as part of the cross-platform transport operation.
Their actual structure is known only to the application, so the application must address any endianness issues after these types are moved to the new platform.
Question is:
Does this also applies to standard expdp/impdp or is "Opaque Types" endiannes correctly converted when using normal expdp/impdp instead of TTS?
