Issues with a email server migration - URGENT HELP PLEASE

Hi,
My online company uses TB and we recently changed our email server provider to resolve a serious problem we were having with the previous one. Both servers (old and new) are IMAP.
The problem is that since we have made this server migration we are having a lot of strange things happening on TB such as:
1. When I mark a email read I can no longer mark it as unread. I've tried to click on the little ball, to select 'Mark as unread' by clicking on the right side of the mouse, etc and nothing!
2. When I reply and forward an email the reply and forward arrow is not showing up so sometimes we don't know what emails have been done
3. Sometimes the emails are sent and don't show up in the sent folder. So we need to put our own email in BCC to be sure that they have been answered.
The guy who organised the server migration suggested us to move to outlook, but outlook is not resolving the problem either. On top of that it makes our computers as slow as snails. I'm on a free trial with outlook that will expire in two days and I want to go back to TB as I find it much easier and straight forward.
Has anyone have a similar issue? Can someone HELP please?

    this is the first time ive been to an ipod support forum, ive tried everything and this is the last resort please help!
    ive got a 4thgeneration ipod (non-color) and this is my 4th one, after a random period of time (between 4 weeks to 2 months) they all break. The hard drive starts making crazy sounds, randomly the unhappy face appears and eventually you lose everything, im not having a great experience with this product and apple refuse to refund saying theyll just replace it with another one (3 ipods later its still not working)
    It hasn't been abused, i've treat this one like it's worth its weight in gold and its barely been moved since i've gotten it (mostly been using it for temporarily storing files). I unmount it (safely eject/remove hardware) before unplugging it and do everything by the book.
    This time it's gone beyond what normally goes wrong..
    As a last resort i tried restoring the ipod to factory settings, something must have gone wrong during this process because now the ipod is convinced that it is just a 400meg drive, is there anything i can do to restore it to its full 40gb?
    formatting just gives the option to format it to 400meg, fdisk wont work because its a USB disk, same thing with partition magic.
    any ideas?
    im desperate lol! also, if not, what are the chances of convincing apple to refund me so I can get an iRiver?
    having said that, my friend has the exact same model and has had it about 7 months without any problems, maybe im just unlucky!
    id prefer to repair it rather than send it off again for another refurbished model, any ideas?

    not sure what you mean sorry!, I used the ipod updater tool to restore it to factory settings.
    Apologize for that one, I somehow assumed you tried to reset it with holding "menu" and the center button or via "settings->reset to factory setting" in the iPods menu.
    i've tried formatting it with windows but it only allows me to format it to the drives 'maximum capacity' of 400megs, fdisk for linux tells me the maximum partition size can be 400megs also
    Well, that might be the thing you shouldn't have done. The iPod must be formatted with the Updater! Other programs (like Windows Explorer and Partition Magic) mess up the iPods firmware.
    As the "400MB" appeared after the Updater treatment, the drive surely is messed up. Try the latest Updater once again. If this doesn't work out, you could run chkdsk and use the Updater afterwards.
    If there's still no avail, you would have to send it in one more time.

  • Having a few issues with my Satellite M105-S3004. Help please!

    1)Ok I've had my laptop for about 3 1/2 years. For a few weeks now everytime I turn on my computer I get this message:
    RegSvr32
    loadlibrary ("C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application Data\dubstefu.dll") failed-The specified module could not be found
    2)I also have been trying to re-install the sims3 and when I put the disc in sometimes it will read and sometimes it won't. When it does begin to install it stops and gives me one of two messages:
    Feature transfer error-I/O device error
    or
    Data error-cyclic redundancy check
    Music CDs play, DVDs play, other games work, and the disc works in other computers.
    Please Please Please respond if you have any idea what I need to do to fix this. I'm very good at following instructions.

    1) I don't recognize what's trying to load. You can track it down this way. Open the System Configuration Utility (msconfig.exe), uncheck all the items on the Startup tab, and reboot. If the message does not appear, then one of the items we have stopped is the culprit. It's a matter of rechecking half the items, rebooting, and so forth.
    More (probably too much) about that utility here.

    You can safely ignore the nag message. Check it's Don't show box.
    2) Since you get a CRC error only on this drive, it's probably just slightly misaligned for that particular disc. You should be able to solve it by copying this disc to another blank using the drive in question.
    Let's see what the folks over here have to say. You should tell them you have Windows XP.

    For your work email, do you use a well known server or do you use their own server? Their server IMAP and SMTP addresses might of changed or you entered them in wrong. It might be something with your router but unless you blocked every incoming connection, then it should work. I would talk to your tech guys at work to see if it is on their end.

  • Need help on resolving the issue with adobe output server - error MSG256 & MSG 210 not in .ini file

    I am using adobe output designer 5.5 for designing the label template and using the Adobe output server for printing process.
    In the Jfmerge.ini we given the condition "DiscardUnknownFields=Yes" for ignoring the unwanted fields in the .dat file.
    During the process, I faced some issue with the output server in printing the labels.
    When the .dat file is placed in the Data folder of adobe, the label is not getting printed in the printer.
    The file is move to the error folder and an error file is getting generated which contains the error message as given below:

    The output server is a new installtion and I verified the Jfmerge.ini file. It contains the message details of Msg256 and Msg210.
    I also verified the license and it is a valid licence.
    Kindly help me out in solving this issue.

    I assume this is too late to help you, but other might need a hint.  I had the same problem, and found some possible causes that I posted on http://codeznips.blogspot.com/2010/02/adobe-output-server-message-msg210-not.html.
    It is quite likely that you are missing some double quotes around the path specifying the ini file (-aii), if its installed under "Program Files".

    my network is still 'searching...' and it won't let my wifi to allow me to activate my iphone. i have tried to connect to itunes and it still won;t work.
    i keep getting a message about no activation server.
    this is a new iphone. i got it replaced on saturday.

    If this is a new iPhone then you will have free access, as all iPhones come with it, to Apple support. I would have them take care of an issue like this.

    Are you getting a specific error message? Have you tried removing the account from the phone and adding it back again after verifying the mobile server settings for the ISP of the email address you use?

  • What is wrong with me Email server on my MAC?

    I am having problems with my email server on my Mac.
    I can retrieve my messages with out a problem.
    But when i go to send a message. It says the server
    The sender address [email protected] was rejected by the server mail.tbaytel.net.

    When i click on connection doctor, i have all green lights and says things are working fine.
    I have an ipod touch and i am able to send and receive emails on my IPOD without any problems using same mail and internet service
    So what am i doing wrong on my MAc
    i deleted the account and installed it again
    but still getting same message.
    Any thoughts on this

    Is this the only email address that fails? Attempts to finger that email acccount don't return any results, so if that's the only one that's faliing, you may just have an invalid email address, or the mail server handing that domain may be down.

    Sorry if this is too basic or confusing
    Apparently in iOS 8 there are different volume settings for different applications
    The setting on the home screen does not carry over to Pandora for example and it is different ( or at least appears to be) for the in-car experience.
    So I would try to stream the music when not in the car - see if you can turn the volume up and then try again in the car

    I have only recently installed Thunderbird and I was wondering whether the software maintains a constant connection with the email server(s)?
    I have a few email accounts configured and I need to be notified immediately when a new email arrives in an inbox of any of them, so would it be possible for the program to maintain a constant connection, if doesn't do os already? Is there an add-on for this?

    If you click on the name of your email account (such as *****.gmai.com) and view settings for this account, and Server settings, there is an option to Check for new messages every XX minutes. I would not recommend a setting of less than 5 minutes.

    Dear friends, I need urgent help: I have a CAYIN screen (which lets me display evetns, etc) and gives me the option of loading/displaying a FLASH (SWF) file, well, I need this SWF to load some XML data ("texto.xml") but  seems that when the CAYIN program which executes flash, does not allow the SWF to find the XML in the same folder...
    Then I tried many ways to load the XML file with no success till now. Some tries are :

  • C6-00 email account problems, need help please..

    Hi all. First of all, I don't experience any issues with the email accounts as referred to in other posts here. I do however have one problem and would appreciate if someone could explain a work-around for the issue. I'm desperately trying to set up a Gmail account using IMAP protocol but that allows me to access all advanced settings and not the ones pre-defined by the Nokia software. I'm basically wanting to have the same control I have over non pre-configured email provider accounts, download limits in KB, constantly connected when i have the mailbox open, choosing what folders to sync or not, etc.
    I did manage to have a Gmail account configured this way by mistake. When i set up the account it gave an error informing me of that i could try to continue with "alternative settings without the Nokia personalization" sort of (don't remember really the message) and after accepting to continue the account was created with "standard IMAP" settings.
    I'm however unable to re-create the event and simply cannot create a Gmail account with those settings. Even tried to set up another existing account and then edit definitions to Gmail but the personalized settings are always taking priority.
    Any advises please? Thanks alot in advance and best regards!

    Same problem here, but with error -2096. Can connect fine on same network with an iPod Touch and a Macbbook, but the Mac Mini that normally connects to iTunes just won't connect. Not using multiple accounts, uninstalled iTunes 8, reinstalled 7 - no joy. Uninstalled 7 reinstalled 8, no joy. Updated 8 to 8.01, no joy. Tried putting the Mini into a DMZ on the router, still no good. Sent an email to Apple support who will needless to say tell me to reinstall iTunes 8......
    Not working for me as of 10/10/08.

    Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old
      Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
    Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
    Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
    Settings>FaceTime
    Settings>GameCenter
    and Settings>iCloud
    Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.
