Issues with inlined textEditor (TextArea) in AdvancedDataGridColumn

Hello,
I have an AdvancedDataGrid with three columns, populated by a dataProvider ArrayCollection (called mappedTagsArray) with the fields callerIntent, labels, and strategy. The labels column needs to display one or more lines. Currently, the data for this column is a String with the multiple values separated by the "\n" character.
Here are the relevant pieces of the code (I did not include the function definitions b/c they are not relevant to the issues):
[CODE][Bindable]
public var mappedTagsArray:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection( [
    { callerIntent: "cancel-vague", labels: "cancel-vague", strategy: "Menu" },
    { callerIntent: "complain-bill_amount", labels: "complain-bill\ncomplain-bill_amount", strategy: "YesNo" },
    { callerIntent: "enquire-postpaid", labels: "enquire-postpaid\nvague-postpaid", strategy: "AskAgain" },
    { callerIntent: "enquire-sms", labels: "enquire-sms", strategy: "Direct" },
    { callerIntent: "garbage-garbage", labels: "garbage-flirt\ngarbage-garbage\ngarbage-noise\ngarbage-profanity", strategy: "Fallback" },
    { callerIntent: "report-sim", labels: "enquire-sim\nreport-sim", strategy: "Direct" }

FIRST ISSUE
Since the labels column can display multiple lines, I want the row height to vary to accommodate the number of lines per row. I tried setting variableRowHeight="true" for the AdvancedDataGrid and not setting any height for the HBox or TextArea. However, in this case, the TextArea's default size of 188 pixels wide by 149 pixels high is used, even if the space is not required (as for only one line). Hence I was forced to set the TextArea's heightInLines="2". This activates the scroll bar if necessary.
SECOND ISSUE
This issue is with the vertical scroll bar. Even though I defined top="0", bottom="0", right="0", left="0" for both the HBox and TextArea, the scroll bar remains in a fixed position. Initially, it is partially hidden (first screenshot). If I reduce the column width (to the left of the scroll bar), the scroll bar no longer appears. If I expand the column width (to the right of the scroll bar), space starts appearing to the right of the scroll bar (second screenshot). The bar is not resizing along with the column width.
Your help is much appreciated. Thank you!
Bonnie

You might need a custom TextArea Skin with different minWidth/Height and
maybe take out the Scroller if you don't want it.

  • LMS 4.2.3 - C6500 VSS - Issue with inline card on secondary chassis

    Hello,
We are currently setting up a fresh new LMS 4.2.3 server to administrate a 90 LAN-device-perimiter. Installation is OK (on a Windows Server), devices are up, monitored and their configurations archived.
The core switches are Catalyst 6506 VSS (s2t54-IPSERVICESK9-M - 15.1(1)SY) including 2 inlines cards :
    - WS-C6505E-SUP2T
    - WS-X6824-SFP-2T
There is an issue with line card WS-X6824-SFP-2T recognition on secondary chassis only. We updated the last software packages for LMS (via Admin > Software Center > Device Update) and situation improved but still, it is not behaving as excepted.
Impact : Topology, Ciscoview and Device Center for C6506-VSS do not show the card and links on the WS-X6824-SFP-2T of secondary chassis.
Do you have this issue as well ? Any direction or help ?
I am afraid of a potential bug...
    Rgds,
    Yoann

When you were placing the internal test calls, where was your phone located?   The RTP streams are usually only set up between the two endpoints (assuming no transcoder or MTP is used).
Have you have already checked calls between IP phones at your central site (where Unity is located) and IP Phones at site A?   Are these working fine?   If not, then it's likely you do have a QoS issue over the WAN to Site A.
Have you confirmed whether or not calls from the PSTN gateway at site A experience any voice QoS issues when transferred to an IP Phone at the central site?
Is the same codec is being used for the MGCP gateway as for IP Phones at that site (check the Region settings for the Device Pool it's in)?
If these things have all been checked, then you may want to consider collecting a simultaneous sniffer trace from each end of a single call, and comparing what's seen at the two endpoints.
    Kind regards,
    Craig

  • Issue with Inline View Criteria

    Hi,
I have a VO created on two tables that are joined by a 1:1 association(say Opportunity and Revenue). The query is specified in Expert mode because I need some aggregations performed using analytic functions. Data security predicates are applied on top of this query using a dummy View Criteria. My requirement now is that I need to filter these results using another VC. The issue is that both the tables have attributes with the same name(say Cust ID) and I need to filter based on this using an inline View Criteria. I have done the same declaratively. However, I get an error on hitting the page saying the columns have been ambiguously defined.
On digging through the log, I discovered the test Query fails to prefix the alias before the attribute. So what I get is something similar to this
select (o.id, r.amt, sum(), count(), avg(), o.custId) from opty o, revn r where (o.id in DATA SECURITY PREDICATE) and (custId = :bindCustId)
Is there a way to ensure that the custId can be changed to o.custId???
Note - The View Criteria was created on an attribute from opty table that was exposed i.e in this case, o.custId. Although the query builder shows it correctly while creating the VC declaratively, the issue persists as seen from the logs.
    Thanks,
    Manoj

    Hi experts...
    Any pointers to this issue???

  • Task flow-call  as a Dialog with inline-popup issue JDev 11.1.1.2.0

I have a very serious issue with task flow-call running as a Dialog with inline-popup
have bunch of data driven table components pointing to pageDefs with Iterators
the problem is, the dialog comes first with nothing in it (blank) and it takes 3-5 seconds to fetch all views,
this is useless, there is no option to control taskflow-call activation , like you do for af:region
For reference : I am talking about this : http://jobinesh.blogspot.com/2010/08/refresh-parent-view-when-in-line-popup.html
Download the workspace , connect as HR Schema and you will see what I am talking about
looks really dumb, it would make sense to show dialog with data all at once, rarther than looking at blank screen to wait for the data to show up
    Edited by: user626222 on Sep 20, 2010 8:57 AM
can I call this a bug?
    Edited by: user626222 on Sep 20, 2010 1:58 PM
sometimes I wonder if anyone tested this, as soon as you have some data driven components on your page, you get all sorts of problems in ADF
But something simple, Adf client side invokes the Dialog as a popup first, and then it thinks oh ya I get massive pageDef to load, so end-user customer will stare at the blank screen for 10 secs , hoping that something will come up or program is crashed
Well, I am afraid to say you lost your customer :(

ok, knowing this fact, I want to show some kind of status indicator during the wait time.
Unfortunately, putting af:statusIndicator does not work untill after entire page loads

  • Routing Issue with 3550 Switch

I am having an issue with routing with one of my Cisco 3550 switches.  I know the 3550s are EoL but some of us have to work with what we have.
I am using a 3550 on either side of a Layer 2 link.  The Layer 2 link is 2 Extreme Summit X-440 switches with Microwave between the switches.  I have a VLAN configured on both switches and tagged on the ports connected to the Microwave.  The 3550 switch on each end is configured for IP routing but I cannot pass traffic between the switches.  If I unplug the switch on the local end and plug in a laptop, I can ping the switch on the remote end and access devices at the remote end.
I know this should work because I am doing the same thing over another Microwave link and Layer 2 link using another 3550 and a HP ProCurve at the remote end.
Here are the configs for each 3550:
Local end;  Port Fa0/23 goes to the Remote Side.  Port Fa0/24 goes to the rest of the network

Ideas?  Anything stand out as grossly wrong?  I have worked on this for 2 days and am at a loss.
    Thanks
    Jamey

Sorry for the delay in replying.  Other items at the office took priority over this project.  I tried that and no change.  I pulled the switch from the remote site and took it back to the local end and connected the switches with a crossover cable and everything works fine.  I have pretty much determined that it is an issue with the config in one of the Extreme switches.  The config in those look pretty normal but there are a few things I am unsure of.  Guess I'll see if there is a similar site for Extreme gear.
    Thanks

  • Performance Issues with large XML (1-1.5MB) files

    Hi,
I'm using an XML Schema based Object relational storage for my XML documents which are typically 1-1.5 MB in size and having serious performance issues with XPath Query.
When I do XPath query against an element of SQLType varchar2, I get a good performance. But when I do a similar XPath query against an element of SQLType Collection (Varray of varchar2), I get a very ordinary performance.
I have also created indexes on extract() and analyzed my XMLType table and indexes, but I have no performance gain. Also, I have tried all sorts of storage options available for Collections ie. Varray's, Nested Tables, IOT's, LOB's, Inline, etc... and all these gave me same bad performance.
I even tried creating XMLType views based on XPath queries but the performance didn't improve much.
I guess I'm running out of options and patience as well.;)
I would appreciate any ideas/suggestions, please help.....
    Thanks;

  • Issue with rightclicking in a text area which uses Squiggly

    Hi,
I have found an issue with using squiggly in a TextArea component.
I was able to simulate the same in the demo url . http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/squiggly/demo/#
The issue is when I enter a random text like "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and then when I do a right click on the text area,
I get an exception as shown below.
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no  properties.

So is there any fix for the above error or a workaround for this.
This has been filed as bug in an application I am working on.
    regards,
    Anup Francis

Thank you for reporting this issue.
I was unable to reproduce this problem under the following configurations:
    Mac OSX 10.6.3, Flash 10.0.42.34, Firefox 3.6.3
Windows XP, Flash 10.0.45.2, IE 8.0.6001
Windows XP, Flash 10.1.53.21, Firefox 3.6.3
Could you provide more details about the software configurations you have that reproduces this problem?
Also, is there a specific location you click in the TextArea?  On the word?  On white space?
    Thanks,

  • 3850 PoE issues with AP3600 and AP3700

The switch is more than capable of providing 30 watts of power to the 3600AP yet it negotiates 15.4 watts and then I get errors in prime. Can someone explain how to fix this issue or what is causing the problem? Both radios are enabled so I would expect it to draw about 20 watts. We are seeing the same issues with 3700 series APs on the 3850 series switches. The APs tie back to a controller and not the 3850 switch

This bug has not been fixed as of AIR 2.7, I don't have a date/version I can give you when this will be addressed.
However, I would recommend adding a new bug to bugbase.adobe.com and include the sample project and a reference to our internal bug number.  The public bug will then be linked to our internal bug and you'll be able to see updates as the state and status are changed.  If you post back with the public bug URL, others effected can cast their votes and add notes as well.

  • Issue with multiple application installation and server share

    Hi,
    SCCM 2007 SP2 R3 ICP2
    All servers W2K8R2
I am having an issue with software installs.  When using a variable for multiple applciation installs, I get access errors when the applications go to install.  It appears to be a multiple connection issue, but I can't figure out why.
I am using server shares for my DPs.  The proper permissions are set.  The servers (DP) are W2K8R2.  I think it has to do with the way R2 handles the conenctions.  I want to know if this is a known issue or if anyone has come accross
    it.
I am going to post in the software distribution forum as well, but thought this would be a config question.

Hi! I'm waking up this dead thread but I've got a *very* similar problem!
I've got a SCCM 2007 SP2 R3 installation on Win2008.  All clients are in the same ConfigMgr-site. Multiple package deploy in the same site-boundary as the CM-server works excellent. (We've got  three DPs in the same site-boundary as the
    CM-server itself.)
Now, we have a new site-boundary with it's own Protected DP where multiple package deploy fails
but the same packages, being run from the task-sequnce works! So then the client can download, install and run the packages from the proteced DP just fine. All "single" packages install fine before the "Multiple Appliaction"-step.
I've tripple checked that we're running the same packages when we're installing Multiple Packages as we do in the Task-Sequence. And
the same Task-sequence with the Multiple Package installation step
works fine in our site-boundary where the ConfigMgr-server is installed.

I know that the TS checks package dependencies before executing the TS. That's not possible with Multiple packages since they are variable dependant. I think this is somehow related although it doesn't explain why my client can't authenticate properly.
The Network Access Account is a member of Domain Users and Domain Users have Read Access on the share and on the folder of the VAXCMDP01 DP - which should be identically configured to our other DPs closest to our ConfigMgr Server.
    Any ideas?

  • WAAS issue with NIC teaming

    Hi,
Can someone tell me what has the NIC teaming effect on WAAS.
I was preparing a demo for one of my client but before this they were using another popular WAAS product. According to my client, they had a big network issue with NIC teaming, i.e one ip and 2 mac addresses with server loadsharing.
    scenario.
Before the demo i just wanted to confirm that WAAS has nothing to do with the above mentioned problem...can anybody confirm...

Hmm... Still not quite sure what your saying. It sounds like by coincidence the other accelerator box got the same IP as one of their servers. They should have been able to fix that quite simple, not to mention test for it by doing the equivalent of "show int" on the box before plugging it in.
Or possibly they had some type of proxy arp configured wrong?
Either way we're running WAAS boxes on our networks that have teaming of NIC's via HP's teaming utility using "Transmit load balancing" on the servers. The WAAS boxes are configured for ether-channeling their NIC's and using WCCP for traffic redirection.
Actually, if you did them using WCCP rather than inline, there definitely shouldn't be a MAC conflict since the WAAS boxes will be on a different subnet at that point. No chance of a problem like that with Layer-3 separation...

  • Issues with Thai wrapping

I have been trying out TLF with various spark and FTE components, but unfortunately have been having issues with line-wrapping in Thai. It doesn't seem to break in between words.
For example, I have tried a spark TextArea/RichText/RichEditableText and set locale for the components to 'th_TH'.
    Four Questions:
    1) Should Thai be working correctly?
    2) Does setting locale matter at all?
    3) Do FTE & TLF components have the same bidi/international capabilities? Or is TLF more robust? (For example, should thai/arabic/etc work the same in both a FTE/TLF component?)
    4) When highlighting Thai/Arabic/Hebrew in certain components, the characters shift all around with the cursor. Is this a bug?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi bogmead,
There is a attribute to control line wrapping in TLF. The attribute should be set on flashx.textLayout.element.TextFlow(<s:TextFlow> in Flex) or some of its child elements, rather than flex components.
    <xs:attribute name="breakOpportunity" type="xs:enumeratedString" default=" auto"/>
Controls where a line can validly break.
    Valid values include:
    • auto Line breaking opportunities are based on standard Unicode character properties, such as breaking between words and on hyphens.
    • any Indicates that the line may end at any character. This value is typically used when Roman text is embedded in Asian text and it is desirable for breaks to happen in the middle of words.
    • none No characters in the range are treated as line break opportunities.
    • all All characters in the range are treated as mandatory line break opportunities, thereby creating one character per line. This value is useful for creating effects like text on a path.
A range is a continuous group of characters that have none applied. Therefore, selecting “one of” and applying none, results in a range of characters starting with “o” and ending with “f” that have none applied and will not get any line breaks inside the range.

  • Game recording issues with ffmpeg

Hello, I'm trying to create a script to record windowed games with ffmpeg.
This is what I have so far:
    #!/bin/sh
    INFO=$(xwininfo -frame)
    WIN_GEO=$(echo $INFO | grep -oEe 'geometry [0-9]+x[0-9]+' | grep -oEe '[0-9]+x[0-9]+')
    WIN_XY=$(echo $INFO | grep -oEe 'Corners:\s+\+[0-9]+\+[0-9]+' | grep -oEe '[0-9]+\+[0-9]+' | sed -e 's/+/,/' )
    ffmpeg -f x11grab -y -r 60 -s $WIN_GEO -i :0.0+$WIN_XY -f alsa -i pulse -crf 18 -preset ultrafast -threads 8 -async 5000 $1.mkv
It allows me to click on a window and record it - it works, but has some issues:

Usually, PulseAudio will remember the last used device. Once you run ffmpeg once, PA should remember that it listened on the monitor input and use that.
SuperV1234 wrote: > Audio gets out of sync, I tried many options with no luck
I got this problem too a while back. Try removing the -async option, it's deprecated and caused more trouble than I had. Also, make sure you always have enough processing power to process everything in time, otherwise it will become out of sync quickly. ffmpeg isn't smart enough yet to fill the gaps, so if you can't grab the audio fast enough (pulseaudio glitch), can't encode the video fast enough 100% of the time, or anything else, it will lose frames and result in a delay. Even funnier, also make sure the drive you output to is fast enough to save the file so ffmpeg never block on writing the file to disk (I used to send my encode directly to a streaming server, and the network latency messed it up).
SuperV1234 wrote: > I can't find a way to record both game audio and microphone audio
You can set this up easily with either PA or Jack. Jack is a bit easier to use, but here's the way I do it myself:
    - Create a dummy output device (module-null-sink)
    - Use a loopback to play your microphone in the dummy output (module-loopback)
    - Use a loopback to play your sound card monitor into the dummy output (module-loopback again)
    - Make ffmpeg record from the monitor of the dummy output.
You can also juste encode 2 audio streams using ffmpeg (-f alsa -i pulse twice, or -f pulse -i "your pulseaudio input") and edit it after.
I think jack would use less CPU to do the same thing (audio streams are piped and mixed directly in the right place instead of using loopbacks and dummy outputs)
SuperV1234 wrote: > Could the script be improved somehow for better quality/performance?
    - Unless you really want 60 FPS output, I'd suggest reducing the FPS to 30. Keep the 60 FPS input, but output into 30 FPS. It will use half the processing power and there will be almost no noticable difference.
    - If you really want 60 FPS output and know how it will be displayed, you can actually encode in interlaced video (60i), which looks like 60 FPS but weights about the same as 30 FPS.
    - You can increase the quality, using something like -preset fast or even -preset medium given you have enough spare processing. Remember, encoding speed should be constant. If you record 30 FPS, you have to output 30 FPS all the time!
    - Like said by skottish, try not using CFR. It will cause the encoder to have to spend more time one some frames and this extra processing might be enough to cause FPS drop.
    - Tune your x264 options (-x264args). Options reference
    - Try reducing the number of threads: make room for your game and give a ffmpeg as few cores as possible. using 8 cores will make it have full processing power, but there are some cases where your game will have CPU spikes and ffmpeg will wait for a single thread to finish a frame and get out of sync. They will be rescheduled to another core, but this has some overhead, and x264 encoding uses the CPU cache a lot with inline assembler code. Having as few context switch as possible for ffmpeg is preferable over having two ffmpeg threads encoding on the same CPU.
I hope this helps you a bit. Unfortunately, ffmpeg is still pretty bad at recording because of audio/video sync issues In the end, there will always be sync issues after a while, so I suggest you restart ffmpeg once in a while. I opened a bug on their tracker a while ago about similar issues. Never got any attention, no comment, not even moved from new to open. They need to fix the input buffer size in a way they always grab exactly N frames of video and audio. They seem to use some timecodes but it looks like the muxer often fails to resync them back. I'd fix it myself, but ffmpeg is way too big for me to find what I need, especially for a bug that seem to have existed forever and still not being fixed or even addressed.
