Issuing two outputs at a time.

For a given invoice,we have to issue ouput(Smartform) to Bill-to-party with BP Address.
Also we need to check the buying group(KNB1-EKVBD) of sold-to-party with that of Bill-to-party. If the buying group of SP and BP is different,then we need to issue output also to Payer with PY Address(instead of BP Address).So in this case we need to issue two outputs : one for SP and another for PY with different addresses.
How can we achieve this? All suggestions are welcome.

Hi Nikhil,
You will need some steps. First create an additional output type with exactly the same settings as RD00.
This output type should have a requirement that should only be processed in case the buying group differs.
Then in the smartform you should copy the address-node and both adress nodes should have a Condition: one to be processed in case of output type RD00 (regular invoice) and one with the condition to be processed in case of your newly defined output type.

What do you mean by step-signals? Do you mean a signal that steps up the voltage over time, a step function signal that is zero until a certain time then goes to 1, or a pulse train?
In the meantime you can find examples for getting started in the NI Example Finder by selecting Help » Find Examples
When that opens you can limit the examples to ones that are compatible with your hardware. In the bottom left corner select your hardware and check the Limit results to hardware box.
Browse to Hardware Input and Output » DAQmx » Digital Generation or Generating Digital Pulses.

Issue in output

Hi,
while issuing the output, there are 4 options. out of them "3.send with own application" is also one option. what happens if we set this options..?

When you set the Option 3 , it means that output is not triggered automatically at the time of saving the document.
Hence, you can manually print / issue the output in change mode of the relevant application ( eg if its orde acknowledgement, go to VA02 ).
You can keep on printing / issueing the output as many times as you want by everytime going to change mode of the relevant applciation / transaction

Issue in workflow workitem that gets triggered to two users at one time.

Below are the query details:
Module: HR
Area:      Workflow
Process: Hiring
There is an workflow in HR module that is triggered when an hiring action is run against an candidate.
There are two or three maximum approvers which is based on the position to which the candidate is hired.
Issue:
During the hiring process some times the workitem is getting triggered to two users at once.
One is the actual approver who should receive the workitem in his UWL and other is the user of our service center who is no where involved in the approval process.
Analysis Done:
We checked the workflow log and found that the actual approver's ID is getting displayed under agent and workflow is complete. But the other user's ID is no where shown in the log but he has received an workitem in his UWL that makes the issue still confusing.
Awaiting for experts suggestions.

You say that 'the workitem is getting triggered to two users at once' - do you mean that there are two workflow instances that are being kicked off at the same time when the hiring action is performed? Or is it that the workflow is generating two tasks that go to these different users?
Ans : There is a single task attached to the activity.
Is this a custom workflow?
Ans : Yes.
Are you certain that the erroneous task is only going to the user in the service center, or is it perhaps going to everybody (marked as a general task)?
Ans : The task is marked as general but the workitem is received by only one user of the service center at a time.
         As this issue has taken place 4 times in the past year all the 4 receiver were different belonging to different position.

1. Did you try to check the SPRO settings with respect to Hiring Process ,is there any where based on the position does workflow is forwarding the workitem to the other user.
2. Check the other user Roles and in the Org Structure where he is located , there could be a possibility of wrong position holding.
Ans : We checked the org structure, but org structure of both the centers are different and independent there is no linkage    between the two.
*3. IF you are using custom workflow then check if any standard workflow is also getting triggered. Check *
Ans : Yes this is a custom workflow, but no other Standard workflow is being called.
4. Check in the SWEHR3 is any custom entries maintained.
Ans : No, entries are maintained in SWEHR3.
Additional Info :
The task that triggers the workitem has an send mail step before it.
The send mail activity is to notify receiver that there is an workitem lying in the UWL.This mail is received by the actual user and not by the other one.The next step is the task that creates workitem which gets triggered totwo different IDs.
This scenarios mostly has come up when the number of approver is 1. If the approver is more than 1 the workflow runs fine without deviating the workitem to any worng user.

Issues using two-pass with dynamic time series?

Is there any issues with using Dynamic time series [Q-T-D(May)] on a dynamic calc account which is defined as two-pass and has time balance property associated with it.
The account is defined as "Dynamic Calc"+"Two-pass"+"TB First" and it works fine, but does not fetch result when used with DTS as Q-T-D(May). But, the same seems to work fine without the two-pass calc option on.

Yes u r right, I also tried with same scenario as you mentioned.
Y-T-D values are not fetching with Twopass,but in that case Twopass is not required because of that member already having "Dynamic calc".
so you can proceed with Dynamiccalc without twopass.

Hi ,
how to send my report to two detinations at a time from command line i.e FILE and Mail ?
i created batchfile in that i mentioned one line for file(DESTYPE=FILE) perpose and another line for mail perpose(DESTYPE=Mail).i don't want to mention to lines.
i want to send my report out put two destinations at a time insted of running two times.

It would appear that I can send an SMS to multiple contacts, providing that it's not a forwarded message. This means that I have to start from scratcheach time, and then I can send it to over 30 recipients at a time. Not sure why though, and I'm not sure why the sign doesn't appear all of the time as an option for me to press. At other times, it is particially obscured by the curser/text box. This is obviously a glitch in the system, as it happens inconsistently.

Because delivery will be having header level output and item level output. So if u try to print through main screen then system will not know whether it is header related or item related. That is the reason it is only print output at header level or item level but not in main screen.
I think u may have doubt like how billin will be issued output through Main screen. Because for billing both header and item level data are same..

Sender File adpater to Pick Two files at a time based on the file name

I have a scenario where I need to pick two files at a time using file adapter where the two files names have a common string in between their names.For example , the file names can be sets like
H123.txt and L123.txt
H345.txt and L345.txt.
Now how do we handle this in the File Adapter ?

Two approaches.
1. Use BPM: use a collect pattern to pick those files: L and H files , use multi mapping to merge those files and map to IDoc. Constraint is that there must be a mandatory correlation field in both the files. Say a same po id in L and H file.
2. Use an Adapter module with additional files option in file Adapter. Operate on the Main payload and attachment inside your module code to get a combined contents of both files and proceed.
Module is preferable in terms of performance, but maintenance is difficult. Deployment after each changes, transport issues, etc.
BPM is resource intensive, but easy to maintain, transport.
Choose based on your requirement.

"how do i synchronize between two outputs"

I'm using a bapi data service "po_bapi_getlist" which have two outputs :header and raws.
When I'm connecting each output to table view, the output information is not synchronized,
when i put the cursor on the line's header - "po nam" the cursor is not standing on the relevant "po nam" raw in raw view .
The BAPI structure has one input and tow output ports and they are both RecordSets (table output).
They have the same key fields PO_ number.

Hi Eli,
Create dummy fields in the outputs that match the missing fields. The dummy fields have to be the same type as the real fields they represent. Then in the union all fields will show up. You can then use a goup by object to put the values together. I have done this a few times and it works. Hope this helps.
Example:

city           (dummy field)
Output 2
address
city
firstname (dummy field)

Got the Error Message in transaction VL03N when issue the output

I got the error Message when i issued the output.
I selected the output type and error message occurs.
Error Message"Maintain output NO MATERIAL IS AVAILABLE FOR PRINT ING application completely with VK01.
Can anybody help me to solve this problem ?

Use T-Code VK01.
Select usage as B - Output.
SElect Application as V2 - Shipping & Execute.
Then select Condition Type & continue. Here select necessary Output Type that you are trying to Print (LD00 in SAP Standard).
Go in to the Details (by clicking mannifying glass button) screen & Maintain necessary feilds like
1. Access Sequence (e.g. 0005 - Sales Orgn / Customer),
2. Put Tick mark in Access to Conditions
3. Transm. Medium - 1 (Print output)
4. Partner Functn - SH (Ship to party)
5. Date/Time - 4 (Send immediately (when saving the application)
6. PrntParamtr criteria - 5 (Shipping point)
7. Document type - SDODELNOTE.
Also check in T-Code NACE whether necessary Printing Problem has been assigned...

YOur condiation record should have correctly for that, Genaraly for Email it will ask more then one combination like PO document type and Porg, Doc type/Vendor/Plant
If condiation recocrd id correct then you can get automaitaly when you craete the PO

Two output type

Hi Gurus,
I've a typical issue here.
I've two output types for sales order .Maintain condition record ,access sequence,VOFM routines individually perfectly for both output types.
1st output type - no multiple issue..(maintained in NACE)
2nd output type - multiple issue.(maintained in NACE properly)
While creating order both outputs are issued(fine).
But while changing order, 2nd output type has to be issued but its not.
When I debugged , its looping the entries already present in NAST table.(checking the first output type for multiple issue)
its not and then its completely coming out of the program without checking the second output type for multiple issue.
Is there any extra settings I've to do or its SAP bug.

Hi,
There are two options.
First is, use the same output type for all the movement types. Iin the smartform itself you can put conditions
based on movement type to call a particular window.
Other options is in SPRO->Materials Management->Inventory Management and Physical Inventory->Print Control
->Maintain Print Indicator for Goods Receipt Documents. Maintain different indicators for 102 and 122 (For ex. 2)
Then maintain the condition record for the output types WE02 and ZA01 accordingly.
Maintain output type WE02 for Trans./Event Type - WE, Print Version - 1 or 2 or 3 and Print Item as 1.
Maintain output type ZA01 for Trans./Event Type - WE, Print Version - 1 or 2 or 3 and Print Item as 2.

Issue delivery output

Dear Gurus...
On the VL02N initial screen, After I write outbound delivery number, I want to get print-out without entering the VL02N screen. So I follow the path as Outbound delivery> Issue delivery output and system shows only ONE output OPTION as "Z040"
But to fix this issue I enter the VL02N screen and follow the path as:
Extras>Delivery output>Header>I choose output type which "Z030 AND Z040" After I choose these types, then I am able to get outputs..
I want to get outputs from initial VL02N screen..
So how can I accoplish this???

Hi,
As I understood from your requirement, you want to print 2 output types from the initial VL02N screen. (Z030 AND Z040) But as at now when you go to VL02N, you can see only Z040. Therefore you have to go in to VL02N and add Z030 every time to get that printout.
So now what you want is to get those 2 outputs attached automatically; so that you can get print outs from the initial screen of VL02N.
You can do this.
Go to VV21 transaction.
Select your output type. (Z030) and press enter key
If there is any access sequence select relevant one.
Enter relevant data
Under "Communication" button maintain relevant output device as well. (If your not too sure as what to maintain go to VV22 transaction for your correct output (Z040) and do same for Z030 as well
Save it.
Then create a new delivery and see the output option from the initial screen of VL02N.
You should be able to see both Z030 AND Z040.
Try and revert.

Two output tasks on one device

I would like to learn the best way to configure two output tasks on one device. Both tasks employ the same channels. Task 1 outputs a 2D array (raster pattern on some channels and DC on others) for which the array values and array timing may change during the rastering. Task 2 outputs only DC values in a 1D array: one value for each channel. There is a Boolean that turns the rastering on and off.
Should I have two separate tasks or one task where the DAQmx Timing and DAQmx Write change according to the raster on/off switch? Do the tasks need to Start each time an array value is changed? I've come close to making it work both ways and the major problem seems to be a "resources are unavailable" error when I want to stop everything and send 0 to all the outputs.

Thanks for your response. I have managed to produce a vi that seems to work with just one task. When changing back and forth from rastering to non-rastering, the task is stopped and started, but never cleared until the vi ends. What I don't understand is why new values are output even though I don't call Start Task each time a value is changed. I'm happy it works but I'm nervous that I don't know why. I have attached it in case you (or anyone) has the patience to take a look.
