It is possible synchronize sound and frame exactly at the same time?
I need to change a frame in relation to a sound, and I need to do this more exactly possible.
I try something like this:
on changeFrame
if sound(1).mostRecentCuePoint = 1 then
go to frame "1"
end if
if sound(1).mostRecentCuePoint = 2 then
go to frame "2"
end if
..... and so on
I try also this:
on changeFrame
if member("Tempo1").cuePointTimes[2] then
go to frame "2"
end if
With this method sometime the sincronization between soud and frame is not exact.

Uh .... Yes you can. You just have to understand how the whole thing works.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Can AE view frame 1 and frame 20 at the same time?
Hi all,
Is there any way to view ,for example, frame 1 on the left view, and frame 20 on the right view?
I tried "Locking" the view in COMP A and look at COMP B.
Although you CAN look at two different images (left & right views) you can ONLY view 2 different images of the same frame number.
I am looking to color grade frame 20 and match it to frame 1.
If there is a way, I forgot how to do it.

LouI assume you mean color correcting between the shots. Color correcting is getting the shot to look "right", color grading is getting the scene to look pretty.
One way is to duplicate your composition, put one at frame 1 and the other at frame 20 and have both comp windows open. This page [link] talks about that a bit. -
If "sound" is on device will not rotate, and vice versa
You can have both, the Settings > General > Use Side Switch To setting is only setting what the small switch on the side of your iPad, above the volume switch, controls i.e. either rotation lock or notification mute - the function that isn't being controlled viat the switch on the side of your iPad is set via the multitasking bar in iOS 6 and below, control centre in iOS7 : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4085
iOS 6 and below : double-click the home button to open the taskbar; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar
iOS 7 : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open control centre and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off').
So to have both mute and rotation 'off' you need to have both the switch on the side of your iPad 'off', and the icon on taskbar/control centre 'off' -
Is it possible to output to div monitor and s-video at the same time?
I'm editing video and want to see the broadcast results on the fly (ie monitor and tv side by side, same image onscreen). Is it possible to output to div monitor and s-video at the same time? Maybe thru a splitter cable. I'm concerned about resolution issues.

Getting Logic master to send to both 1-2 and 3-4 at the same time
I have an native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 'sound card' that I'm running 2 different sets of M-Audio monitors off of. My question i, can I run the master output to both 1-2 and 3-4 at the same time so I can easily check mixes on both sets of speakers without changing every single tracks output?
Also, is this possible to do in iTunes also? I can find nothing in Logic (or anywhere) that will allow this and I initially thought my device was broken until I simply choose 3-4instead of 1-2.

How about routing all the outputs that are currently on Output 1-2 to a bus first then:
Option 1: Switching that bus's output between outputs 1-2 and 3-4 (for A/B comparisons)
or
Option 2: Use the Send on that bus's output to another bus, route that second bus's output to 3-4 (so both busses are sending audio to both sets of speakers simultaneously).
As an alternative, the Mackie Big Knob is a great hardware solution for routing a signal to 3 sets of speakers, allowing you to switch among them with simple button presses.

I've attached a VI that I am using to acquire amplitude from Spectrum analyzerse. I tried to connect amplitude ouput to the VI Write Characters To File.vi and Write to Spreadsheet File.vi. Unfortunately when I run continual this VI without interruption, labview ask me many time to enter a new file name to save a new value.
So, How can I do to aquire and save date in the same time and in the same file when I run continual my VI for example during 10 min.

Your VI does work perfectly. Unfortunately this not what I want to do. I've made error in my last comment. I am so sorry for this.
So I explain to you again what I want to do exactly. I want to acquire amplitude along road by my vehicle. I want to use wheel signal coming from vehicle to measure distance along road. Then I acquire 1 amplitude each 60 inches from spectrum analyzer.
I acquire from PC parallel port a coded wheel signal coming from vehicle (each period of the signal corresponds to 12 Inches). Figure attached shows the numeric signal coming from vehicle, and the corresponding values “120” and “88” that I can read from In Port vi.
So I want to acquire 1 time amplitude from spectrum analyser each 5
period of the signal that I am acquiring from parallel port.
So fist I have to find how can I count the number of period from reading the values “120” and “88” that I am acquiring from In Port (I don’t know the way to count a number of period from reading values “120” and “88”).
Here is a new algorithm.
1) i=0 (counter: number of period)
2) I read value from In Port
3) If I acquire a period
i= i+1 (another period)
4) If i is multiple of 5 (If I read 5 period)
acquire 1 time amplitude and write to the same
file this amplitude and the corresponding distance
Distance = 12*i). Remember each period of signal
Corresponds to 12 Inches).i has to take these
values: 5,10,15,20,25,35,40,45,50,55,60............
5) Back to 2 if not stop.

I am having trouble with my iPad, i can start it, but the iPad does not work. i tried to use the power and home button at the same time, the apple logo appears, but the iPad does not work. What am I suppose to do?
After the Apple logo appears, what happens then? Can you hear any sounds or if you tap on the screen, does it seem like apps can open or are you just seeing a black screen? You might have a hardware problem, but you can try restoring the software and see what happens.
Read this in its entirety before you do anything. Make sure you read the sections at the end about using recovery mode.

My sons iPod touch stopped working, it won't charge in a docking station and the computer/itunes won't recognize it when connected. We have tried holding the power and home button at the same time for several seconds, and the screen still stays black. Thanks!
Hello skdog I possibly think your ipod touch is black because it has not charged. If your dock is broken it might just mean the dock will be broken and so might be the USB port. You should see an Apple shop nearby and hand it over and see what they can do. I hope this information works!

How to transform a layer object and a path at the same time?
Hi all,
I know I am going to kick myself when you tell me the answer to this!
I would really like to know if there is any way I can manage to to transform both a layer object and a path at the same time....or if there is any workaround to achieve this.
In a nutshell, say for example I spend a VERY long time creating an intricate path around a very detailed object, and then at the very end notice just how crooked and out of perspective it is, and would like to straighten it.
Of course I could transform and correct the object, and then carefully transform the path - but it just won't be exact, and I will have to spend a long time adjusting the path and making SURE it is perfect.
Isn't there any way I could get to transform them together?
Usually of course I do all the correction to straighten and correct perspective beforehand, but in some instances after I am done creating the path I then notice that the image could have used further adjustments.

Once the image is on it's own layer, then we can select the path and then make a vector mask by going to "Layer>Vector Mask>Current Path". Once the vector mask is created, simply click on the image icon on it's layer, then transform away to your heart's content, and the path is transformed along with it. Once finished, the path for the vector mask can be saved as usual. (Don't click on the vector mask icon when transforming the image, otherwise only the path will be transformed.) -

Itrip and car charger at the same time?
I've noticed that all the iTrips for the 5th generation video iPod connect via the dock connector at the bottom. Is it possible to use an in car charger and an iTrip at the same time, as they both connect via the same input?
ThanksThat is not possible, but they do make an iTrip specifically for the car. It chargers at the same time. Check Griffin's website.
My friend hasa it and loves it. The charger actually helps the iTrip get a stronger signal.
