It's back! Bad aapt file in AIR SDK 3.4.0.2710 and can't compile in Flash Pro!
It's happened again! This also happened in a version of AIR SDK 3.3 and I had to rollback. I reported that issue as well. (search aapt)
Flash Professional CS6 REQUIRES an aapt.exe file, not an aapt file, but aapt.exe file in \AIR_SDK_3.4.0.2710\lib\android\bin\
in order to build AIR for Android apps.
Can't you put something in your build tests to cover this?
Go back and look at 3.4.0.2540 and you will see a aapt.exe file at this location within the SDK and it doesn't exist in 2710.
I'm running the latest version of Flash Pro CS6.
I'm also seeing all kinds of weirdness now with my AIR for Android builds that use ANE files. After the ANE pops an ad, my app won't properly update its screen unless its "nudged" with a tap on the touch screen. I was fine when I was building and testing under 2540 but I updated my Droid 2 test device to AIR 2710 the other day and now I'm having problems. Not good to think all the apps I've already published out may now be having severe problems if users have upgrade their AIR SDK.. Can't confirm that 2710 is the problem until I rollback my test device back to AIR 2540 though. Looks like you may be trying to fix this issue in 3.5 Beta - that's good.

Dunno if you saw my other post to you, but I've put up a copy of the SDK that you were looking for and asked that we change our procedures going forward. As for the actual issue, would you mind creating a bug report at bugbase.adobe.com if you haven't already?

can someone shed some light please ?So it appears you have only one library on the hard drive. Apply the two fixes below in order as needed to that library:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory. -

Adobe AIR SDK (3.4.0.2710) Captive Runtime Not Updated

I just downloaded the latest Adobe AIR SDK 3.4.0.2710. Looking at \runtimes\air-captive\win\Adobe AIR\Versions\1.0\Adobe AIR.dll it still says it is 3.4.2540. Will the captive runtime be updated to 3.4.2710?

Return your iPhone to Apple for repair/replacement, and ask for a white one. It couldn't be simpler. Whether Apple will comply with yuor request is another matter. -
As a continuation above, who are the people who have been praising Apple to the heavens? For those of us who aren't tech-savvy, Apple totally blows. There is next to nothing intuitive about their products and they seem giddy about giving their customers extra steps for everything. Why can't I sync my iPhone seamlessly? Why do I always run the risk of deleting my music when I want to sync? Why are there so many steps in creating ringtones? Why does the right-click on the mouse have so few options? Why do I have to click upwards of twenty times on desktop icons to get the file to emerge? Again, I'm not a techie but it seems that Apple is made for people with master's degrees in software programming. I've spent a small fortune on Apple products because Microsoft has become a lumbering dinosaur populated by zit-covered nerds with no concept of how the general public works. Do I go back, especially with that abortion, Windows 8? Or do I wait for the next iteration since Microsoft can only create a decent product with every other release?
I'd like to know what others think. Granted, I'm upset right now, but I've been getting more and more frustrated with Apple. We need a third company out there, kinda like a third political party.why do i even bother posting on this.. i just got a correct response from the help team. yes i can do something about it. get a new processor, exchange, sell or replace. that's the answer i was looking for.
i CAN do something about it, just like i could with my windows laptop, iphone and old ipod. It's sorted.
I got the response I was looking for. It's not an issue. New models come out all the time, i agree, but i have exchanged and sorted this out every time, like my iphone 4 to the 4S. and an apple advisor helped me with this.
My question was a genuine question - and funnily enough - the Apple helpline thought it was too.

I was running Firefox 4.1 on a 32 Bit Windows XP Computer. I just bought a 64 Bit Windows 7 computer and reinstalled Firefox. I backed up all of my XP programs and data to an external drive but I can't find a file for my previous Firefox Bookmarks. What is the filename and possible folder where I can find my old bookmarks and how do I import them into my new version?

When I try to connect the files to the catalog on the Mac, many (~9000 out of ~12000) files show as can not reconnect. Elements finds "similar" files (actually the files I want) but says they are not the same file. I noticed that many of them have the time parameter different in the file compared to the catalog. If I go ahead and say reconnect anyway, I get another error indicating the the data has been changed by two different sources. If offers the choice of overwriting the file data with info from the catalog (which loses the EXIF data in the file) or says leave the file alone (which loses the keyword metadata from the catalog). Is there any way to get Elements to connect all of these files while retaining all of the EXIF and the keyword metadata without having to re-edit or re-import each of these files? My ultimate aim is to then move all of these photos into the current version of Lightroom on the Mac.
You won't like this response, but there is no way to simply move any Adobe software installation from one system to another. In part, this has to do with the registration/activation infrastructure that Adobe uses. FWIW, Adobe isn't the only software vendor for which you can't simply move software from one system to another via various migration tools.
You must totally uninstall from the first system including product deactivation and then install on the new system and reactivate.
In terms of “fixing” your current system, I would recommend totally uninstalling the software (and deactivating in the process), reboot, and then reinstall from scratch.

I am freaking out! I am a college student and owner of my Iphone 3Gs. I just got it this past August and I don't understand what is wrong. I did not drop it or come into contact with any water or disabling substance. I am literally stuck on the calling page with favorites, recents, contacts, keypad and voicemail. When I push my Home button I am not brought back to my menu. When I hold it down voice control is enabled but I still can't get to my menu. Then when I try to hold the sleep button to shut off nothing happens. What's wrong with my phone? I can't even go into contacts and hit text message nothing happens. Also, when I get a message in nothing happens when I push view. Please help me.
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

When I download a pdf file it opens then a dialog box opens and says buy adobe acrobat 8 pro.
I just want to be able to read a pdf file. I have downloaded Acrobat reader 9 hoping this would solve the problem. I purchased this laptop about a of year ago, and just started using it a couple of months ago. I tried to delete adobe acrobat 8 but it says if i delete it some programs will not work properly. All I want to do is read a pdf file, can anyone help. Thanks.
Thank you this worked but I had to uninstall acrobat 8 and anything that had to do with adobe or acrobat because I previously tried installing adobe 5, adobe 9 and other acrobat items. I was trying anything i could to read a pdf file.

You need to use GarageBand 4 to open them. GarageBand 3 doesn't recognize that format.
