It was fixed now crashing again on 64 GB iPod lasted four days only
I tried every thing even went to Apple on the phone but it did not crash for four days on 6.1.3 now crashing again it crashes because of LOW MEMORY that what it says on diagnostic and usage on all apps plus I only got 8 apps on it and still got 53 GB left on it it in $59.00 rubberized protection case always on my bed never leaves the house it so protected it looks brand new now for $400.00 electronic gadget I assume it would be better than this when it was 5.0 it work fine I even had music on it 7,000 songs worked fine but took off all music just using for photos and 8 apps even my iPhone is crappie my Android S3 is way better than both of my Apple gadgets I notice Apple last only 3 months then you got to re-sync to computer every three or four months for all the money you pay their products they are all ways breaking down the only thing that really works well is their iPod 140 GB which I have also and 8 GB which didn't work after three months but they are good for music and photo taking though every thing else just crappie I think I have bought over $3,000.00 in iPods in four years from the Apple store
Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

for the last several days I have experienced the dreaded wite screen of death upon power up of my 2008 Mac Pro 2.8,
Screen will hang white - no apple logo - when I hit the power button resart - the mac power light does not go out, but "clicks" and the mac will restart.
I get the white apple logo screen and then some terminal script (about 20-25 lines) that lasts for a dew seconds - then an apple message appears telling me that my computer needs to be restarted due to an error - press a key or wat.... this will cycle continuously.
If I power down and boot in safe mode - the computer seems to start up - with a crash log.
Once I restart from safe mode - the mac seems to start fine and I am using it without issue - (of course until I power down and come back in the studio the following day...)
I am not familiar with crash logs - but here are the two most recent...

Remove the third party uaudio and motu drivers then restart your Mac.
Once I restart from safe mode - the mac seems to start fine and I am using it without issue
Safe Mode only loads required kernel extensions which is why Safe Mode works, "without issue" ... -
Firefox has been crashing at random times for the last two days
Firefox has been crashing randomly for the last two days. I had to download Malwarebytes yesterday because I picked up Malware Doctor (I think that's the name.) It was soon after I had removed the spyware that Firefox started crashing.

Text messaging on playbook was fixed now it's not
Text messaging didn't work with the playbook software update. No icon. Not found. I found out that it was my phone. I went through the process to fix that. It worked for a day or so. No messages today. Opened the text messaging app to find a notification. Text messaging disabled due to IT policy. I don't even know what that means or who's policy it is. So I rebooted phone and playbook. I texted myself from another device. Phone got the text. PlayBook got the splash on the text message icon. Opened text messaging to get the "not found " page. Why is it this way?
Terp23 wrote:
I'm having the exact same issue. BB Bridge to Text Messages worked at first, then received an error regarding a policy prohibiting that option, and now I get a blank white page that says, "Not found". We recently upgraded our MS Exchange server from 2003 to 2010. We also replaced our BES 4.1 server with a BESX 5 server. My PlayBook is not governed by the BESX server, but my BB Bold 9650 is. So far, no luck finding an answer as to why this is occurring or a resolution.
You will have to talk with you IT department, it is a policy on the BES that was not set properly to let you use the texting mode on the bridge

Hi, I've been running Command Center version 1.0.0.50, and it's been working just fine, suddenly since yesterday it's been crashing shortly after loading, also the CPU always reads as max speed(3.7ghz) and doesn't move from there, whereas before, it was reading the correct frequency, I've tried uninstalling, and reinstalling from my driver cd, and it doesn't fix the issue, I've also tried version 1.0.0.68 from the website, and it's doing the same thing.
Also, just to note, other CPU frequency monitoring programs (CPU-Z for instance) are reading the frequency correctly, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
Additionally, my Avast A/V has suddenly decided that the "msiwmiservice.exe" file from the 1.0.0.50 version is a rootkit(I've verified that it's a false positive), but I can no longer run the 1.0.0.50 version at all without disabling Avast, because every time I install it from the disk, it immediately throws the offending file into the anti-virus chest. This doesn't happen with 1.0.0.68, as it doesn't contain the offending file, but it still crashes the same.
Also, note that Avast and Command Center had been living together just fine for a couple weeks, right up until yesterday..... weird huh?
I'd like to be able to run command center for its hardware monitoring...... can anyone help me sort this out?
My system specs are
MSI H81M-E33 motherboard - BIOS version V6.4B3
Intel I5-4590 CPUTry this one 0.69 Beta 2:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/40094917/Command%20Center%201.0.0.69beta2.zip
before install it, deinstall the old one, then manually delete Command Center folder.
Then install the new one 0.69 Beta 2
after install and run it, when the loading error issue hapends,
go to local disk C in MSI folder, ie: C:\MSI
then locate a file named “MSILoading” and send it back. [upload it somewhere and give a link to it]

let us know if the "msiwmiservice.exe" service is still detected by Avast!
in latest Command Center version, if yes provide a screenshot with the issue -
Day after it came back it was gone again. That's why I'm looking for help again. thanks

when I get into the moodle reply box in the beta version no keyboard comes up. In the regular version, this was fixed, now I can type but I don't see what I type as I type it. the word are there however when I close the keyboard. all this was better last week.
Now up to Firefox 8 and the problem persists. Cannot go to the www.turnitin.com page and login as I used to do -- Firefox does not remember my username or password.
Still works on Windows, and with other browsers... It would be great if a fix is available. -
Internet really slow for four days now - cookies problem?
For the last four days my internet has been as-slow as dial-up!! it was working fine before, fast connection, no problems. For the last four days, especially in things like Ebay and Facebook it just sticks and shows a cookie with a red cross through it and a timer going round at the top left. I have allowed all cookies etc and cleared my history but nothing sorts the problem. Is this a problem that other people are experiencing? I live in Kent. Many thanks.
Right just spoken to someone at Sky who, after having me check my connection and tell me there is an issue, swap my microfilter for the spare one that came with the fibreoptic broadband last week, recheck my connection which was then slower! search for a flat head screwdriver, undo the screws on the master socket to be told i have an old master socket so not to worry, put the incredibly old screws back in....a task in itself, that in fact an engneer is needed!!! Maybe worth a call to Sky but have a flat headed screwdriver to hand!! Also they cannot arrange a sky engineer until tomorrow so are calling me back to arrange tomorrow afternoon. Hope this helps. To be fair the sky person i spoke to was very helpful i just found this a labourious task to find out something i already knew!

I am unable to upload photos/albums to facebook. I used to be able to until I mistakenly created a new library. I was able to revert back to my library that contains my photo's but now it won't upload to facebook. It will to flickr. I have rebuilt the library cache and permissions. I have unlocked the permissions. I keep encountering the error "Please try again later". It's been 5 days. There is no fix on this issue ANYWHERE! I can upload from my desktop. Please help.
Thanks!Have you tried to sign out of Facebook in iPhoto and to start over? Remove your Facebook account from the iPhoto Preferences > Accounts panel. Select Facebook and press the "-" button.
Quit iPhoto, make sure, your Facebook albums no longer do show, then add the Facebook account again by pressing "+".
Then try to publish your albums again. If there are still problems, try LarryHN's user tip.
A solution to FaceBook posting issues
In the long run, it is much simpler, to export your albums from iPhoto to the Desktop and to upload them from your Facebook page. This way, you will avoid all the problems caused by syncing the albums between your iPhoto library and Facebook. -
Today my iPod touch 4 generation was dropped. now it just has a white screen. i tried reseting it by clicking the home and lock buttons but nothing helped. what is my problem and how do i fix it?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have had email notification that my ipad that was stolen was turned on and connected to the internet however no other info was avail about where the unit was turned on to help me find a location of where it is. It is now off again. The site has no info on how to find data on where it was turned on. I've received emails saying it's now locked and message displayed. There myt be a way to find out where it was turned on!
Any ideas!Unless the device has power and an internet connection there is no way to locate it.
