It won't let me play videos in full sceen mode when I try to, and the full screen option is greyed out. So how do I fix it?

How do I get it to let it to let me play videos in full screen when there is no option for this by the controls in the little box, the one to maximize won't work, and the full screen option is greyed out in prefernces?

Same thing for a movie file.. If you want to play back the movie via a DVD and a DVD player you must create a Movie DVD and not just burn files to a data DVD... as Data DVDs are just storage devices for files and therefore will only work with computers...
Movie DVDs are special formats that include things like menus and special file formats.. so they can playback via a DVD Player...
You will need a 3rd party DVD Burning app like Toast which is what i actually use.... or the more popular DVD Creator app...to create and then burn a Movie DVD that will playback on a DVD Player....

For some reason this worked for me. I went into my account and changed my first name, maybe it causes itunes to reset. What ever it does my itunes works now.

if you cant download them > email the iTunes Store emaill support adn explian the situation adn they will give you a regrant of all your purchases.

When I try to use shutter fly on my mac it won't let me, it also won't let me play videos on youtube or Facebook, however if I login as a different user it will let me do all of these. Any ideas?

problems with safari playing videos with one user login but not another.

Check Safari extensions.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari. Try Shutterfly and Facebook content.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extension issue, make sure Allow Plug-ins is enabled. Safari > Preferences > Security

My Computer is authorized but won't let me play video since I upgraded 8

Hi
I upgraded my itunes today but I am having issues with authorization.
I purchased a tv show played it paused it and when i went to start it again i got the message that I wasn't authorized to play this video. I singed in with my password and got the message I was already authorized. I restarted and was able to watch the video. I tried some purchased music and the same thing, some songs just play others ask me to sign in but then tell me i am authorized.
What is going on?
I even deauthorized and reauthorized, same thing.

Firefox will not let me get on any websites (safe AND not safe), claiming that it "may pose a security threat to your system"; when I try to choose the "proceed unprotected" option, it won't let me.

My computer's anti-virus software recently expired. A few days later, I went to download a new anti-virus software . . . when I opened up Firefox, I received a warning that claimed Firefox was infected with "Trojan-BNK.Win32.Keylogger.gen", and gave me two options: "Activate XP Security 2011 (recommended)" (this was a $60 charge and required credit card info) or "Continue unprotected (Dangerous)"
Since I needed to install new anti-virus, I figured I would continue unprotected, download my new software quickly, and remove the virus. But when Firefox opened, it gave me a message saying: "Firefox alert. Visiting this site may pose a security threat to your system!". Gave me three options:
1. "Get a copy of 'XP Security 2011' to safeguard your PC while surfing the web (RECOMMENDED)"
2. "Run a spyware, virus and malware scan" (I already did this)
3. "Continue surfing without any security measures (DANGEROUS)"
I tried clicking on different links, but the same warning kept showing up, even on verified and safe sites. I tried to choose the third option so that I could download my anti-virus software quickly, but nothing happened when I clicked on it - the page reloads and the warning shows up again.
My computer is still without anti-virus software because Firefox will not let me surf the internet. Please help!

It sounds as though your PC is infected with fake antivirus software. The detailed cleanup instructions vary depending on which fake AV you have. However, as a first step, try this:
Download the following on a different PC, copy them to a USB flash drive or CD, and then run them on the infected PC:

SUPERAntiSpyware : http://www.superantispyware.com/
Hopefully these will get you back online safely. If not, search for clean-up instructions for the specific malware.

When viewing news video (and others) the lips move and the sound follows after a few seconds. How do I fix this?

The movement of the lips when a video plays is not synced with the verbal noise that comes from speaking. It's like if I am talking and I hear it moments later not when I actually say it.
This happens when I view Fox news, cnn or any of the local news stations.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

5s touch id quit working. My fingerprint is not there to edit in settings and the "add fingerprint" option is Grey and won't let me click on it.

I set up my fingerprint ID and it worked fine for 1.5 weeks. Last night phone shut off for no reason. I turned back on and fingerprint id does not work. Cannot see my fingerprint in settings to even edit it, and I cannot add a fingerprint. Have done a hard reset, no help there. Please advise. Thanks.

I had the same issue ... and also restored the phone and the option TOUCH ID was totaly gone.
But I restored it via the iphone itself ( general reset all data and settings etc )
It was still not ok
Then I tried to restore the iphone from ITUNES ( that reinstall completely the OS which is not done if you do a reset via the iphone)
And then .. the option was back again

As far as printing a page as you see it, many web pages use '''print.css''' files for print-media. The print.css specifies exactly what is to be sent to the printer and it can control the formatting of the printed page.

IPhone 3G no longer has sound and won't let me play any music/videos

The other day a friend of mine tried calling me and when I went to answer I couldn't hear her. I saw that she left a voicemail and when I went to play it, the play but switches from pause back to play very quickly, which won't let the message play. This is also happening when I try to play music or watch videos. I've tried various things, like changing volume settings, plugging in and out headphone jacks, and rebooting the phone many times. Nothing seems to be working. I don't think it's a sound issue since the phone won't let me run apps that require sound. Does anyone know what is going on?

Laptop won't let me play any video or change the brightness of the screen at all.

I got this new Laptop a few months ago and it has just recently started to play up slightly and not let me change my brightness settings at all and now it won't let me play any videos.

I got a solution
First check out your performance settings and if u dont know where to find it just right click on my computer and enter to propreties then click on performance and tools, then if the gamming and desktop aero system are 1.0 then you have three solutions.
1) Install a new windows
2) check out your computer driver and install tge latest version
3) or simply you can download DRIVER PAC SOLUTION and install it then after installation is done you might wanna restart the system and check performance again then it should desplay NEW HARDWARE DETECT REFRESH NOW then click on refreah and the rating is gonna go up from1.0.to higher than 4.0.

What you could do now is break up your video into smaller parts and render them out, then assemble them again as a whole.
I know this is not the best fix, but it might work.
You can duplicate an edit in the main screen, then delete the last bits and export,
do the same for the other half.
Then import the two bits (or more if you need) in a new edit.
Out of curiosity, can you post what format the video is in?
Copy a video straight from the camera to your computer.
Open it in Quicktime player, and with out playing type Apple + i
or Control + i for PCs
It should tell you lots of info about the video, and might help us to see what is wrong.
