It wont let me log in to my tumblr and my email/password is correct, but it use to work about a week ago. how to i get firefox to work with tumblr?
I just downloaded firefox about a week ago and the first day i used it i went on to tumblr, and i logged in just fine. But now a week later i'm trying to log into my tumblr and it says it's loading but then it goes straight back to the log in page. I contacted tumblr support and they said to check if i have cookies, and i do. i'm very dissappointed that firefox won't work with tumblr.
solution doesn't work for me. i think those firefox developers are either ignorant, incompetent or simply uninterested in solving this problem which has been around at least since 2010 - we're now in 2012.
i've been loyal to firefox for 10+ years but now i gonna switch to chrome, which i have been using in parallel for a while now and which has not given me any headaches. firefox usage worldwide has been in decline since 2011 and i think this trend reflects the disconnect between the developers and their user base since the chrome-like decision was taken to go down the fast upgrade lane. google can pull that off successfully, firefox can't - sadly.

In order to get those to work you will have to upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:

i just downloaded firefox and it wont let me log off my twitter. i did the 'automatically download bookmarks from chrome' option but i deleted them afterwards. tumblr and twitter were the only sites that already had me signed in when i visited them but tumblr let me sign out. everytime i try to log out of twitter it takes me to the usual screen they show when you log out (a promotion for the twitter app for mobile phones) but the little button at the top that tells you to sign in isnt there, instead it has the button for you to write a new tweet and it keeps my twitters background. since i just downloaded it i dont have any extensions or add ons and my cache is empty so i honestly dont know what to do. i tried troubleshooting but it didnt work and im not really good with coding, like once you tell me what to do i can do it, but i cant do it on my own, so i dont know if the file was like corrupted when i downloaded it or something...
Click the Orange Firefox button in the upper left hand corner, then hover over the arrow to the right of "History". Go to "Clear Recent History", and clear the following:
Time Range: Everything
Under Details check the following:
Cache
Cookies
Active Logins
Offline Website Data
Uncheck everything else. Click "Clear Now", then restart Firefox. -

You must set the account using a Mac or an iPad/iPhone, it may not be setup using a PC.

You have to respond to the verification email that Apple should have sent to you by clicking the Verify Now link. Make sure you check the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. This would not normally be an @icloud.com email address. Also make sure you check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

Game center wont let me log in and keeps starting itself whenever i try to play chess
game center wont let me log in with my apple id, and it also starts itself whenever i click on anything in chess, so i cant play at all, it is really frustrating, and i cant figure out how to turn game center off, or make it behave.

When I go to updaye my apps on my IPhone it tells me my passowrd is incorrect and wont let me log in. I changed my passowrd on this site just to be sure I had it correct and it still wont let me log in and still tells me it is incorrect. What can I do?
Updating your Apps is different from the Support Communities and use different passwords. Your best bet is to start with the support links here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/account/ If one of those suggestions doesn't work, then hit the "Contact Support" link from the list to the left for additional options.

Blackberry app world wont let me log in!
I have had lots of trouble with my blackberry app world, at first it wouldn't let me log in and then it crashed so i deleted it and re installed it and made a new account now it wont let me log in again! its really bugging me and would like some help with it please, thanks :-)

Wont get past "configuring updates stage 3 of 3 0%" and wont let me log into computer..HELP!!!

i kept getting a vista spyware alert saying i had 34 infected files and wouldn't stop and i also tried updating some things on my laptop while i updated to the new internet explorer 9. around 12noon today i rebooted my laptop to get all the updates to work and i got this configuring updates screen and was like ok. it kept going. it does it for a while, shuts down and restarts and goes back i didnt think anything was wrong made it to stage 3 and wont stop and move on from 0%. its now 10pm and its been doing it all day. ive tried shutting it down and rebooting myself but no matter what i do, it wont let me access my computer to do anything. i have avast virus protection but it said it was unable to move viruses to chest i pressed repair and it said it was postponed until next reboot so i did it this morning and figured its taking so long maybe because its trying to repair them but im sure it doesnt take 10 hours...im extremely upset. someone please help. and also, anyone know how i can get the viruses out? i dont have money for a better protection right now so im using my moms computer but she works on it so its hard. hp said they cant help because my warrenty is up, was a 1 year warrenty, got laptop in 2008 and warrenty expired in 2009. please help me.After installing updates from Windows Update, you may get into a Reboot loop where you machines gets to “configuring updates 3 of 3. x% complete” then freezes or reboots.
Solution:
1a. Boot from the Windows System Repair Disc and choose the repair option in the lower left hand corner, choose System Restore, and select a Restore Point predating the attempted installation of the updates.
1b. If you don't have the DVD and the Vista/W7 came preinstalled on the machine, boot to the Recovery Environment using F8 at the HP logo during boot, choose "repair your computer" from the list, let RE load and do a system restore from there.
If restore fails, load the recovery environment command prompt and enter:
Del C:\Windows\winsxs\pending.xml
exit recovery environment and restart the pc, you may get 3 of 3 again but be patient, the desktop should load. Create a manual restore point and Turn off Windows Automatic updates until you can figure out which update caused the loop.
If you get it booting again:
You may be infected
Follow the order given below to disinfect your PC
1.) On a PC that is Not infected, Make a boot AV disc then boot from the disc on the Infected PC and scan the hard drive, remove any infections it finds, I prefer the Kaspersky disc myself. The New 2010 Kaspersky disc can update the AV dat files if you are connected to the internet at the time of scan and is suggested to update before the scan.

2.) Then boot into Windows:
Install free MBAM, run the program and go to the Update tab and update it, then go to the Scanner Tab and do a quick scan, select and remove anything it finds.

3.) When MBAM is done install SAS free version, run a quick scan, remove what it automatically selects.

These last 2 are not AV softwares like regular Anti Virus Software, they are on demand scanners that only scan for nasties when you run the program and will not interfere with your installed AV, these can be run once a day or week to ensure you are not infected. Be sure you update them before each daily-weekly scan. -
So i had an old apple id i had created to use with my ipod but never ended up syncing them. So when i got my iPhone i created a new apple ID with my new email address. Well i went to log into itunes store on my computer (PC) and it wont let me log in with my new apple ID, just the old one. I get the same message everytime i try it: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." so i did try again. and again. and again. its been a few weeks now and it gives me the same message everytime. Its frusterating because everytime i sync my iPhone to my computer to backup and whatnot, all the music i bought on my phone doesnt sync and undownloads itself from my phone. What can i do??

I have been online banking with TD Bank for years now and have never had a problem getting into the log in. About a week ago when I would click on the log in button, nothing would happen however I can get into every other link on that site. I contacted TD Bank and they said that my account was fine and I was not locked out and there were no security issues. I then called Time Warner and they checked my service and said nothing was wrong with my service and that it sounded like it was from my server since I was going through Firefox, I should call you guys and see if it is the problem.

I do almost all my work from a standard user account. Firefox neither automatically updates (as I set it to) or informs me an update is available.

I claim that administrator accounts are for administering, or developing; not using. I wouldn't be an administrator for longer than is necessary than walk down the centre of a highway with my eyes closed.
