Item level display in adobe forms..

Hi all,
I have a problem on adobe forms....For my req. I have fields like delv no , delv item , matnr,
Customer mat no, qty , batch no and split no to display in line item level...but for one delv no there are
multiple batch and split no..If i tried to display the second delv is overlapping with second line item of
the first delv ..can any tell me how to avoid this?

Hi Dude...
create separate internal tables for line item and field for which you want to display multiple values
with common field..
For your example..
step 1. create an internal table for line item that contains the delivery no , del item, material no,
material qty, customer mat no, batch no and serial no...
Step 2. Create an internal table for batch and serial no with common fields , del item and del no.
Step 3. Go to context ..assign this second internal table under line item internal table ..
step 4. Double click on the second internal table and go to condition...there you to write the below
        condition....
        line item- delv = 2nd internal table-delv
                        and
        line item -delv item = 2nd internal table-delv item...

Hi Josué Cruz,
Insert the 'Interactive Form' UI element in the desired view.
And bind its 'pdfSource' property to the context atribute pdf source. Optionally, you can set height and width of the form.

How to display line items corresponding to Header adobe form

Hi ,
As I am new to Adobe Form, So struggling with below problem related with Adobe Form.
For example, I have data in an internal table :
Stage      item
100         A
100         B
100         C
200         D
200         E
Here you have for field 'Stage' value '100' , I have 3 line items, for value '200' , it is 2 line items and so on.
My requirement is , I have to show Stage field at top and corresponding line items should be displayed in table.
Stage: 100
item
A
B
C
Stage: 200
D
E
I have used Nested table concept to achieve it but didn't get expected output.
Please help me out.

     If all of your line items are getting displayed in different pages, to my knowledge, there may be two possibilities.
1) May be the size of the main window can accomodate only one line item. If one item data fills up the window, then there wont' be any space for the next line item data to be accomodated in the same window in the same page, so, the system triggers the next page. Like-wise for each item data. If this is the case, increase the height of the main window to display items in same page.
2) Check the driver program. Find the Write_form block, which is written inside an item loop. May be there is a Form-control Function module( Control_form with parameter 'NEW-PAGE' ) being called after the write_fom block, within the loop. If this is the case, remove the control_form FM section to make the data display in same page.

But While Displaying only some of the records are getting displayed How can i display all the records in next pages of adobe form.

Problem with Table display in Adobe Form of Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi Team,
I'm trying to display a table in Adobe Print Form (not interactive). The table is bound to the context node in the Web Dynpro ABAP where the cardinality is 0:N. I get a short dump. Don't know what to do here. I'm able to display individual fields from my context successfully. Looks like something is missing when I try to display a table. Any pointers to display a data table in Adobe? Any step by step example you know of where I can find out what I did wrong? Many thanks for your time

We upgraded our system(2004S) to SP10 so that we can use the ADOBE form printing in Web Dynpro ABAP but could not apply note 1034425 because of the validity constraints in SNOTE. All the pre-requisite notes are already in the system apart from one note 1029721 which talks about supporting input helps. We don't want to use input helps in our system and cannot upgrade to SP11 because of problems with Business functionality.
Questions:
1) Is note 1034425 absolutely dependent on 1029721?
2) If NOT, can someone please correct the validity so that we can implement using SNOTE.
3) Would it be OK if we manually apply the changes specified in 1034425 without implementing 1029721?
4) If all of the above is not applicable, is there any other note which fixes the above mentioned short dump.
Your help in this matter will greatly help us in using the ADOBE services provided by SAP WDA.

Text display in Adobe forms

Dear Friends,
I have a requirement in Adobe forms to first display dynamic data and then static text subsequently. I am able to display the dynamic data. However, unable to display the static text following dynamic data. Can I get some help regarding how to make sure that the static text should come right after the dynamic data.

How does you form should look like? Describe the desired layout if you need help on this.

Reg : Heading display in Adobe Forms

I have Created an appln using Adobe Forms.
In Body Pages Data is displayed with Heading. I have given Flowed Option for mulitple pages display.I want the Heading
to be reflected in all the body pages.
I don't want to display it in Master Page bcos I am displaying some text in first body pages continued by the table.
Any option is there for getting Heading in all the Table display pages only. Thnks in advance...

Go to the Table in the body page -> then select the Header row only -> right click on the header row -> Go to Palletes -> Object -> Under pagination tab -> Check the check box Include Header Row in Subsequent Pages .
Then save and active it. Try this one. I think it will solve your problem.

Issue with quantity display in Adobe forms

I am trying to display a quantity field MENGE in my Adobe form and I am encountering a problem that it is getting diplayed as 23456.320 while it should be displayed as 23,456.320 i.e. the thousand separator is missing .
Please help

I have already given the same.
Change the locale to English. This has dot as decimal seperator then you apply the below coding.
Try this code at the layout ready event.

Form level v/s item level trigger in oracle forms

Hello Experts,
I am new in oracle forms.I am using forms 11g with weblogic server 10.3.5 at windows 7.I am very confused between Form level and item level triggers.What is the sense of use of when-button-pressed trigger at item level & form level.If I have this trigger form level then how could I check that is fired.

You need to clear you concept first..
Form level Trigger: code applied all respective item within the form
Item level Trigger: code applies for only the item that has the code.
try in a form and you will see the difference.

Input via ABAP Webdynpro - Display data Adobe form

My requirement is I will pass input via ABAP webdynrpo selection screen and I want to get output in ADOBE FORM.Do we have any blogs or tutorials ? BTW this will not be interactive form right?

Hi Vara,
Do follow these steps:
1) Goto SE80 and create a WDC.
2) Create a main view, and in the view go to context, and create a node and an attribute in it to fill the values from WDA.
3) Goto layout of the View, and create an inputfield UI element, and bind the attribute created in the context.
4) Now create an Interactive form UI element and give some name in the Template source of that UI element.
5) On press of enter, it asks you to create a new SFP, and say yes for that. Also choose context as the data source during that process.
6) Now SFP tcode is opened for you to design the layout.
7) Similarly desing the layout and bind the copied node from webdypro component.
8) Save and activate the form.
9) Save and activate the WDC.
10) Create an application and test it.
This completes the scenario mentiond by you..

Item level display in SAP script

Hi All,
I am trying to show the line items of sales invoie in the invoice layout using SAP script. But it displays just one line item. It overwrites the same line on every call. How can I instruct it to print it on the next line. I've even tried printing the line using '/' (line feed) but to no effect.

Reusable component for displaying Interactive Adobe form

I have created a web-dynpro component which will display the different Interactive form at runtime depending on the data passed from the host application.
Following is the process I have done for the same:
1. Create a node and attributes at runtime with the data from the source node from host application.(using node and node_info class).
2. Passing the data is a problem since it gives dump(invalid operand)
3. Creating Interactive form element at runtime (passing data like form_name, data_source...etc)
4. Adding the element on view
Here form is displayed on the screen.... However, the form is empty...(irrespective of the random data entered on in debugging mode).
I dont know what is going wrong.

No need to create the value nodes.it works with model nodes as well. Directly map ur component controller to view. insert the Interactive form ui element in ur view. open ur form in AdobeLifeCycle Designer . in that u can find ur nodes in Data View. map those to ur ui elements in form.
For mapping i m not very sure what exactly is ur problem, bcos its not very clear in ur question. Double click on ur component. open the diagram & drag a link between ur component controller & view.
For mapping to model , use same steps for component controller & model .

Adobe forms table display problem

        In adobe forms i want to display purchase order details. i have connected the abap editor whit adobe forms using the function module.. my requirment is to display purchase header details in first row contains the header details below that it should disply the line item... for example..
     po number   company code   pur org   pur group
          itemno      mat           matdes     quan       netprice
      74583638   200                      100        6000
           10          m-10         sample       5             10000
           20          m-20         sample1     5               1231
                                                                   total 11231
and also page break... one page contains only 3 purchase order only....

Displaying Adobe Form through CRM WEB UI

Hi Experts,
Currently I am working on CRM Technical which is very new to me. I've got a requirement to display the Adobe form through CRM WEB UI. The requirement is like this.
In a screen of WEB UI there is a option of OUTPUT preview. When i select the specific billing document and when i click on OUTPUT Preview tab it should display the Adobe Form which was developed in SAP GUI using txn SFP. I have done some R&D on it and i found that an ACTION Profile need to be created for this kind of requirements. But in my research i found only Smartforms can be displayed using the ACTION point.. Could anyone help me out how to display the Adobe Form using the Action......

Hi Robert,
I came across this post after implementing the same solution. It works fine for me in SAPgui, i.e. it creates an entry in the spool which I can priview or print, but when I use the webUI it just opens a new window with a white background and the message 'Error in smartform'.
Nitin, did you manage to come up with any solution? Or did this work for you?
