Hi All,
I have done table binding.
Say if I have a list of values(pojo's) in the request scope. I need to iterate thru the list and display the attributes enclosed inside the pojo on a JSF page.
How do I achieve it?

Hi,
it depends on what you mean by "I have done the table binding". A Pojo can be used as the base for a data control, which then can be bound to a table through this (using ADF).
If you want to copy values to a table, you can access the binding container in a managed bean (you didn't tell the technology you use so i assume JSF). Check SRDemo on how to access the binding container in a managed bean (see SRMain for example)

I need to access the list of objects that are actually displayed currently in the table. The table uses pagination so there are other table elements not displayed and I do not want those.

Hello,
I've been working with this method and it works good with pagination as far as you do not start to sort the table... it starts to append new rows at the end.
The only workaround I've found so far is to call clearSort() before getting the ids... but that is just partially nice...
So, maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe there is a bug that could be fixed in 1.2?

There are so many things wrong with this VI, I'm not even sure where to start.
Hard-coding paths that point to your user folder on the block diagram. What if somebody else tries to run it? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on Windows 7? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on a Mac or Linux? They'll get an error.
Not using Read From Spreadsheet File.
Use of local variables to populate an array.
Cannot insert values into an empty array.
What if there's a line missing from the text file? Now your data will not line up. Your case structure does handle this.
Also, how does this answer the poster's question?

Two possible way come to mind.
1. ADF DI (desktop integration): sorry, don't know enough about it to give a how to :-(
2. POI (http://poi.apache.org/) : open source project to read and write excel file with java. Using POI you can open the .xsl file, read it's contents and display it as af:table. For this you need to read the xsl into a data structure (this can be a temporary db table or a list of POJOs) and build a data control out of it. This you can drop on a page as table.

Dynamically fetch data from database and display it in the report

Hi,
We have a requirement in developing a report which needs us to dynamically fetch data from the database and display it in the report.
We have a column called WORKER in the report.
For each worker there is a measure(PSA) associated with it.
In the report we have to display both the WORKER and the PSA column.
What we want is, when we display the list of the workers, the corresponding workerid_id of the worker will be passed and the value of his PSA will be fetched from the database and displayed in the report.
Or anything similar to this.
We also have drill applied on this WORKER column. So after any drill up or drill down also the value for PSA should change.
Is there any way of doing this?
Please help if possible.

Create a table with a Long RAW Datatype column for storing the Image Column Data.
Create the form based on the table , which by defaults the column with LONG RAW atatype to a Image Item.
You can use Forms Built in function READ_IMAGE_FILE to read a Image file stored on the file system in to the image item.
A save on the form saves the image in the Image item in the long raw column.

Is there a way that a Labview program can display the date of the exe and display it on the front panel? I am aware of the version info on the application builder, but I did not see a way to get the date when the exe was created.

Since you are posting in the design forum, the short answer is - you don't. Rows in a table have no inherent order that you can rely on and the "position" of rows is a visual characteristic that should be implemented by the application that displays
this information or by the query that is used to generate the resultset.
So the next question is how one accomplishes this particular order within a select statement. That is a tsql question which, for future reference, is best posted to the tsql forum. In addition, many of the questions or issues that you will face
have been discussed in the forums - often many, many times. The first thing you should do when faced with an issue is to simply search the forums and leverage the the knowledge that has already been discussed. In doing so you are quite likely to

I'm not sure if this is your question (I'm puzzled by your mention of circular references) but this is how you change a table name in Numbers 3. Select the table (click on it), then make sure Table Name is checked in the Table tab of the format panel, then edit the name directly where it appears above the table.

Sort array list and using comparable

With the following code I would like to setup a score object for the current player.
Change it to a string(Is it correct to say parse it to a string type)
Then add it to the arraylist.
So I can sort the array list according to the string size.
That's why I have the variables in that order.
So if 3 players have the same amount of guesses, they can be positioned on the high score list according to their gameTime.

Compare the current W1 to each of W2 through W10 (call the current one being compared Wn). If any of them are less than W1, swap that Wn with W1 and continue on, comparing the new W1 to W(n+1) (that is, swap them, and then compare the new first item to the next one after where you just swapped.)
Once we reach the end of the list, the item in position 1 is the "smallest".
Now repeat the process, comparing W2 to W3 through W10, then W3 to W4 through W10, etc. After N steps, the first N positions have the correct Whatsit.
Do you see how the comparison rules are totally independent of the algorithm we use to determine which items to compare? You can define one set of comparison rules ("which item is less?") for Whatsits, another for Strings, another for Integers, and use the same sorting algorithm on any of those types of items, as long as you use the appropriate comparison rules.Thanks ;)
