ITunes 11.1 and iOS 7.0.3 won't allow me to drag-and-drop videos onto my iPad?
I finally updated my iPad 2 (16 GB; Wi-Fi) with the new iOS 7 update (7.0.3), and now it won't let me drag-and-drop items from my iTunes library anymore. It starts to, it seems. iTunes says "Preparing to sync" and then that just disappears, and nothing else happens.
Just the other night, I drag-and-dropped some songs onto my iPad (since my iPhone wasn't allowing me to, so I added them to my iPad instead; I'm getting a new iPod touch soon anyways, so this is only temporary), and it worked just fine. This was before I updated my iOS 7 (iTunes was already at 11.1).
I've restarted iTunes...many times...
I've restarted my iPad...many, many times...
I've restarted the PC...again...
Checked my storage space; I have plenty for these six videos I want to add on here...
I have had this iPad set on "manually manage" since I bought it. It has never known any different. I've manually synced movies from my old MacBook (backlight dead, and it's not worth the money I'd have to pay to replace it, since this is the second-to-last MacBook Apple made, so it isn't worth much anymore; and this MacBook still has Mac OSX 10.5, so iTunes 11 won't even work with it, so I haven't synced anything from it in MONTHS...), and to my last PC laptop (charging port is broken, so it won't charge even though it works fine when the battery is full; unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to ordering the new part yet). I've only added three songs from this "new PC" that I'm borrowing. To my knowledge, it doesn't matter how many different libraries you "sync" to a "manually managed" device, right? Besides, I just synced music from this third library last week!!
What I just don't understand is why it let me the other day, and now it won't.
And before I updated tonight, my PC didn't even recognize my iPad. So I pretty much HAD to install that iOS 7 update that had been in my Settings since it came out.
What is going on? I'm kind of sick of this...the only option it seems is to just completely sync to this one computer, but I'll lose pretty much everything except the few songs I put on here, and my videos. I have pictures and apps and notes/documents that I DO NOT want to lose.
Any suggestions?

My PC has all of my iTunes and it recognizes my iPhone 4 device but I cannot drag and drop the songs. How do I copy the songs to my new iPhone without having to re-purchase everything? Unfortunately, It appears I no longer have iTunes Music Library.xml on my PC.
My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

ITunes won't allow me to drag and drop songs into playlists
Running OS X 10.6.8 and iTunes 10.4 (80).
I cannot drag and drop songs within iTunes to create playlists or move songswithin playlists.
Here's what I've already tried:
-Reset iTunes Store cahce
-Log out & in of iTunes Store
-Quit & Restart itunes
-Rebuilt iTunes library (by moving iTunes Library.xml file and getting rid of .itl file)
-Checked info on iTunes folders so that permissions are both read & write
-Restart computer
-dug through a discussion of this problem on MacRumors and none of those solutions worked.
Getting frustrated and hate that I have to dig around in discussions and wait for the community to figure this out instead of Apple answering and solving the problem when their software doesn't work.

How to allow visitors to drag and drop photos
I don't know what it is called (let me know the term if you know) but I would like to learn how to design a web page that allows the visitor to move things around to custom design something -- ie. drag and drop images in the website. My wife designs jewelry and I have seen some sites that allow visitors to drag and drop beads onto a bracelet to design their own bracelet.
Any help is appreciated.I have no idea what you're talking about. Please ask real technical questions instead of generalized and visualized questions.
Seen the technical level of your questions as far, I highly recommend to stop immediately with that visual editor and start writing code yourself. Don't brainlessly drag'n'drop as long as you don't understand at all what happens behind the scenes. You would only get yourself in deeper trouble after all. -

I bought a 5th Gen Touch. I use iTunes 12 on my two computers. I first connected the Touch to my desktop and it allows me to drag and drop mp3 files from my old Classic, which is backed up to a directory. Unfortunately, that computer has gone down before I got a chance to fill the Touch. I have the files on another computer but when I connect the Touch to it, it doesn't allow me to drag and drop the files. I have iCloud set on both systems and I have manual management check marked. I'm not understanding why it allows drag and drop on one PC and not the other when they are both set the same way. My question? What do I need to do to be able to drag and drop in iTunes 12? I didn't do anything special on the computer that allows it so I am at a loss.

It appears that iTunes 11 does not allow for the "dragging" and "dropping" of music from a library onto a manually managed device.. is that true? I am trying to drag a playlist onto my iPhone. I've done it many times before on previous versions of iTunes but now that the menu is up in the heading, I can't drag the playlist onto the icon for my iPhone.

No.
Sync you are not syncing, the ONLY way to get items onto a manually managed device is to drag and drop.
However, I feel a much simpler way is to create a playlist and add/remove songs from this playlist and autosync this playlist (or multiple playlists). I use about 6 or 7 playlists
You can still also drag & drop songs while autosycning. -

You would have to work with a retailer selling iTunes cards who would accept a non-US credit card. Best Buy is a possibility; they carry iTunes prepaid cards and will accept orders from other countries:

I have the latest version of iTunes from the Apple site and my tracks have been downloaded from the net into MP4's in one file.Now,if I try and 'DND' into any of the music folders nothing happens....EXCEPT when I hover he cursor over 'iTunes DJ'....when released the tracks can now be found in 'Recently Added' folder,and can be played.
Now...how do I get them into a folder ? Well,it's time for bed so will play again tomorrow (although I bet i'm up until 1am trying to figure it out !! ). -

Basically, I can't for some reason drag and drop videos onto my iphone 4. I manually manage my music and vids, songs I can drag and drop, but when it comes to videos, nothing happens. iOS 8.2 still won't allow deletion of ALL email messages at once from my iPad? What could be the reason for this? The work-around solutions I see on Internet work erratically for me.
I'm an Android cellphone user so can delete all emails from my phone with a click or two. Is that a patent issue for Apple? There is no way to delete ALL email messages easily?Had the same problem. There is an undocumented way under another thread and it works, but is clunky and very un-Mac-like.

You will notice the inbox seems frozen as move is no longer highlighted and individual emails will not highlight if you touch them
Wait May take a minute or two depending on how many emails are in your inbox but they will move to the right side
Then just touch trash

YOu can also use Bluefire Reader for reading books that need an Adobe ID. There are several ways to transfer a book to your iPad. One way is to email the acsm file, open the email on the iPad, and "Open in ... ". Another way is to use an app like Dropbox. The third way is to connect your iPad to your computer, open iTunes, select the iPad, and under Settings select Apps. Scroll down to the File Sharing apps, select the app you want the book on, on the right select Add, navigate to where the book is on your computer, and select it. Open the app on your iPad and it should load.
