Itunes 8 only good for one time use after each installation!

When I attempt to open itunes I get a pop-up window that says "Please wait while windows configures itunes". This window has a download bar and cancel button in it. Then a second window appears that says "You must restart your system for the configuration changes made to itunes to take effect Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan to manually restart later." Ok, when I click yes my system restarts then when I attempt to click into itunes again after restart I still get the same pop-up windows. I have un-installed and re-installed itunes 3 times. It works fine right after installation. However, when I click out of itunes then try to go back in it the same pop-up windows appear! This happens everytime I re-install! I can only use itunes one time per installation??!! I don't know what to do please help!!

Thanks for this. I had this same problem and was wondering what was going on. My new issue is that itunes 8 just turns off on its own after like 30 seconds - but I wonder if it's because my work computer may not allow iTunes?

One Time use Promo code

Hi,
Does SAP provide a functionality for one time use promo code? Basically the customer should able to login to the web shop and use the promo code only once. If they use it for the second time, then the system should not allow it. Any suggestions are welcome.
I am not looking for the coupon code functionality.

I was looking for standard SAP Marketing functionality for one time use campaign codes (promo codes). Promo codes are same as campaign ID. Target groups can be assigned to a campaign and consumers in that target group can use the promo code. However once a consumer has used a campaign code, they should not be able to use it again in another order/shopping cart.

So I just purchased Lightroom 5 and put it on my desktop last week and my computer crashed. If I end up having to purchase a new PC, does this mean I also have to purchase Lightroom again because it is only allowed for 1 PC use?

This may seem like a silly question. But, I see on the insert that it says license is only good for 1 PC use. I am SO upset that my computer crashed, and thinking about wasting $128 makes that even more upsetting.

I'm not sure what "insert" you are talking about, but as said above a perpetual license is good for installation on two computers. If the old computer is still functional, you can either uninstall LR5 from it or consider a new computer as the second installation. If the old computer is not functional and will never be used again, then LR is not functional and this is equivalent to its having been uninstalled.

I very seldom use, if any, acrobat for editing, changing from pdf to word, but there comes a time when I need to edit and change words, correct misplelled words, delete words or pharses. Is there a fee for one time use instead of having to pay for the whole year? If if I do pay for the year can I get the package for 1.99/mo. that covers all of the above?

I suspect I already know the answer to this, but there's nothing like having the actual facts. I've searched quite a bit and (unless I'm missing something obvious) no where can I find a statement that says "one promo code = one download."
Can I provide a single promo code to a group of people so they can all download a free copy of an iBook?

You need to give more info..
Firstly only works for what.. networking.. backup.. wireless. You need more nouns.. more adjectives... describe what you want and what fails.. then we can figure out why.
Most likely you have bridged it when it should be in router mode..
Most likely you are using Lion or ML which has the airport utility bridge the TC by default.
Change it to working as a router. That might help.
If you press reset button it will default back to router btw.

Only good for direct download links. I can pick to view my lecture in either audio or video format through WMP or QT from my school website. The formats come in a drop box form, which when on a desktop or laptop open in the player you choose and play. I hope this makes sense

You are asking several different questions. If you need to store your photos, music, and movies on an external volume, you certainly can. Any externally connected hard disk drive will work, connected either directly to your Mac or to your Time Capsule as a shared volume.
You should not rely upon using that as a backup device though. Although you certainly may use it for both purposes, it is a better idea to have dedicated backup devices for a variety of reasons not limited to redundancy. You would not want to simultaneously lose all your pictures as well as your backup. If they are all on the same device, that could happen. Furthermore, a backup cannot back up the volume on which it is running.
As for adding an Extreme or Express, using its LAN port for your iMac, and then enable Internet sharing so you can effectively use the iMac as a "hotspot", you can do that too, but I am unclear on what benefit you believe this arrangement would convey for you.
An Extreme's Guest network is separate from its Main network; that is the reason for having it.

I like the new Discussions better than the previous, especially everything that comes with this new ability to put much more on one page (like being able to see A LOT (not only five) of "Recent topics in this category", or that the topic's titles can be longuer than before, or being able to read the whole thread without jumping to "the next 15 posts" like before. I set "My Posts" to "50", this too was not possible before. Etc.)
Now my request:
At first I thought, like many others, that the "blue dot" and the "blue half-dot" were too small, and that we couldn't see the small grey "New!" because it was not red.
Now after all this time since Nov14, I finally understood what was wrong, because
(1) the new kind of eye fatigue I didn't experienced before, and
(2) a change in my computer's room lighting configuration.
The real problem is not the blue dot size (altough I'm sure if it was a square it would work better), it is its environment.
We have a white line after a light blue line, and this is a great feature to differenciate between topics. Works great within a thread too, to differenciate posts.
But one side effect of this is that the whole page "feels" slightly blue.
I'm not sure, but a human eye physicist could perhaps explain another kind of (more insidious?) side effect caused by the alternance of lines. Perhaps depending on which color are chosen for them?
Anyway, there is no problem with a page that "feels" blue, when the text is black.
The problem starts when the text ALSO is blue. Especially light blue...
I find the text blue color too light. Even the "visited link" purple is too light.
Given that the background is blueish, I mean. Otherwise it'd be fine.
This was not easy to understand, because the [defect/effect] is not obvious: the overall picture is nice.
But it became obvious to me when I saw that I have no problem IF I set my screen's brightess to "very bright".

==> Please, would it be a problem (or too difficult to set perhaps?), to try a darker blue text for two or three weeks, see if we like it better? (along with a slightly darker purple for the visited links).

How to approve the request only for one time for human task in BPM Worklist

I'm having a requirement where i have made the hierarchy in the .task file where in created two users for which i need an approval in a hierarchical manner. But when i'm approving the request from worklist app for one user and the request is going sucessfully to the second user and if i approve it over there it once again coming to first user where i have approve it once again to get the request processed. how to get request processed only for one time when it is approved. Do we need to customize anything
If you did it can anybody can share thoughts on this please. Your help is highly appreciated.

Following are the some important points you should understand about ESS Leave Request Workflow
1. The Visualization ( how should it appear in UWL and what should happen when you click on a particular workitem) is defined in SWFVISU. Check for TS12300097. Generally, it invokes com.sap.xss.hr.lea.appl/LeaveRequestApprover Java WebDynpro application. Just check whether you are able to get the correct Leave Processing application called when you execute your workitem from UWL?
2. In general it should have option to process the leave request either approve/reject. When the leave request gets approved/rejected the status of the Leave Request document gets changed ( in workflow it is &REQ.STATUS&
3. There is a need to schedule a background job for program RPTARQPOST which will pick up all the documents in APPROVED status and creates an absence record for the same.
4. Apart from schedule job as mentioned above, you also have to schedule a background job for program RPTARQEMAIL, which is basically used to send e-mails for all the documents which are yet to be approved to correct manager.
as you say , you can not see Approve/Reject options from UWL, it looks to me that correct javawebdynpro application is not being called for this task. Just check this !!

ITUNES ONLY WORKS FOR 5 MINUTES AT A TIME

iTunes stopped working about a month ago, but then I fixed it using the msconfig solution. It worked for a while now I have the same problem, i can fix it, but then iTunes only works for about five minutes before closing. This is the only way I can fix it; first, by re-installing iTunes, then, doing the msconfig solution and restarting the computer. Then after about 5 minutes it closes. To open it again I have to go through the whole proccess. I cannot figure out how to permanently fix it.

Sounds like you have some malware that is interfering with iTunes.
What do you have to turn off in msconfig to get iTunes working?
It's pretty involved to remove it. If you have purchased security software like Norton or McAfee, I suggest contacting them for help.

I am not certain this will fix your problem but I suggest you assign the printer a static IP address.
Using the printer's front panel, select Menu > Network > WLAN > TCP/IP > Boot method, and change it to "static". Provide a static IP address that is on your LAN's subnet.
For example, if you are using an AirPort Extreme, you might give it an IP address of 10.0.1.100. If you are using a Netgear or Linksys router that defaults to issuing 192.168.x.x addresses, you might give it an address of 192.168.1.100. That way, the printer will always "reside at the same address" on your network. If your router has the ability, you should reserve that address so that the router does not attempt to assign it to another DHCP device.
Then, go to System Preferences > Print & Scan, and delete your existing printer with the "–" (minus) button. Add it again, using the "+" (plus) button. In the window that appears, select the IP pane, and from the Protocol menu select "Line Printer Daemon (LPD)". In the Address field type the IP address you gave your printer.
If all goes well the "Pring Using" field will detect the printer at that address and automatically select the appropriate driver. You will see something similar to the following screenshot ("name" can be whatever you decide, and "location" is optional):
Click Add, then you can close System Preferences.
There are other possible reasons your printer is "not responding" which could include wireless interference from competing wireless networks, but try this "static IP" method first. It should mitigate the problem.
