ITunes Pro - I don't want to pay to upgrade stuff I don't want anymore

I have some albums and songs that I downloaded for a work event. I don't want to pay money to get the high quality version of these just to upgrade to iTunes Plus!!! How can I get iTunes to forget that I bought these items? (since the only option is to upgrade everything.)

iTunes Plus is simply iTunes songs encoded at 256 kbps AAC (higher quality) with no DRM.
It is not an upgraded iTunes application.
Also, not all songs are iTunes Plus.
The Plus songs will have + sign next to the Buy button.
For error 5002, try this;
Open iTunes prefs.
Click the Store tab.
Change the setting from *Buy and download using 1-click* to *Buy using a shopping cart*, then click OK.
Quit iTunes.
Restart iTunes, then go back to iTunes prefs -> Store and change it to your original setting.
You may need to quit and restart iTunes again.

Why have most of my native plugins and 3rd party effects stopped appearing in Premiere Pro CC? I scanned for viruses and malware, nothing found. My PC is a month old. If you have the old PC, transfer the library from it. If not, see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

My husband and I are using the same computer. He has a ton of songs in iTunes that I don't want...but when I sync my iPod I get all of his songs too. Is there a way of setting up another ITunes account without having to untick all of the ton songs iTunes

No. Its not possible.
Alternatively, create another user account in your computer. Install iTunes in that account with the library you wish to sync.

Your library will be preserved through reinstalling. Backup anyway.

Besides signing out of the account, you will need to delete the apps on the device that were purchased under that ID.

For no known reason, my Ipad 2 crashed. I turned it on one day and it acts like it's new. It says "setup new ipad" or restore using icloud or itunes. I don't know which to do because I don't want to lose what I had on my ipad and I don't know if I had icloud setup or not.

You don't have any choice. You will have to set the iPad up all over again now. Take a guess and pick one or the other and hope. You will be able to download most of your paid content again for free.

There is a similar setting for Videos on that Settings screen, so if you leave that 'on' you may have similar happening in the Videos app

I don't think so. When you open iTunes, go to "Store" on the top and click "Authorize this Computer." Type in your email and pass, and click authorize. Then, when you connect you iPod for the first time, it should tell you "this iPod is synced with another computer, blah blah." It should give you the option to either "Erase and Sync," or "Transfer Purchases." Click "Transfer Purchases and your content should go into your new iTunes.
If this doesn't work and you still have your old computer there's another thing you can do. I know this works on windows, but I'm not sure how to do it on a Mac, maybe someone can offer some help. Assuming you have Windows, go to Start>Music>iTunes Media and you should see Music, Apps, Movies, etc. This is all the stuff in your iTunes. If you have an external hard drive or your iTunes library is small in terms of file size, you can do this in one go. Transfer the content (as much as you can fit at one time) onto the external storage. Then, put that content on your new computer on the desktop or somewhere where you can find it again. Open iTunes, and folder by folder highlight everything in the folder and drag it into the iTunes library. It should say "importing (content)" or something and then it should be in your library. If you look in your Music folder again, there should now be another "iTunes" folder there with all of your content back in it.

You need a Time Machine backup to restore an old version. If you don't have one, you'll lose your library because it can only be used with iTunes 11

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from a computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing. If you want to remove them all then normally you could just sync an empty folder (in terms of photos) to the iPad, but as you don't want to sync at the moment you can't do that.
You can reset the iPad back to factory settings and start from scratch with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings

I just found out that I am having the same problem!! It is driving me nuts. Now I know why I am running out of space on my iPhone. It's ghosting the others songs, until you see them when you go to sync. Hopefully, someone has an answer. I have gone through every HELP subject and discussion board I could find on the situation.
