iTunes says I have certain apps on my iPad, but I can't access them on my actual iPad. This happened after plugging it in to my iMac. Can this be fixed, or do I have to re-download those apps not appearing on my iPad?

I assume that you've checked all your homescreens by swiping the screen to the left, and that you havn't filled up the maximum number of screens, which I think is 12 (in which case you will only be able to find them via the search screen - and have you tried typing in their names on the search screen ?).
Also how did you install them : by syncing from your computer or downloading them straight onto the device ? If you synced them then if Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps is set 'off', then change it to 'on'.
You could also try a reset to see if they appear after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Yes I tried this manyfold. But did not work. Reading on, I took Tesserac's advice. Shut down router and computer.
Start router after 15 minutes and wait another 10 minutes before starting the computer.
Et voila.... everything is back in working order,

I just recently upgraded my iPad and since then certain websites will no longer open up on the iPad but i can still access them on my mac pro laptop. WHY????? One of these websites is a work related website that i really need.

I can open some websites on my ipad but not all. The websites that are no longer opening were all working up till 3 days ago when I did the update on the ipad. The websites that I can't open on the ipad i can switch to my macbook pro and open no problem. I have tried to check all settings and just can't figure out what is going on. One of the websites I can no longer open is ikea and also a work related website. I can load the opening page but when I try to sign in it won't do anything including not even an error message. Please help..

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.

Sync them from your iTunes library:

Note that you can only sync apps from the one syncing computer/library that yo can have. If the iPod was synced to another computer/iTunes libary or set up via wifi then to make this computer/itunes library your syncing computer/library:

If you go to Settings > iTunes & AppStore , you can sign out from your account, and sign in with the one you've used to purchase apps.This will not remove any apps you already have on it.
Then you can go to AppStore and download apps you've purchased (either via "Purchased" button in "Updates", or simply search for them and download them.
That way you can have multiple accounts' apps on your iPad. When updating, you will be prompted for the credentials for account you've purchased given App with.

With the iPad connected to the computer, while iTunes is running, click on the iPad name on the left side under devices. Click on the Movies tab and look for Movie Rentals. You want to "Move" the films to the iPad.

Tap and hold an app until they all start jiggling and an X appears in the icon's top left corner. One by one tap the X to delete the app. when they are all gone you are free to buy them again with your own account.

Well, if it's that annoying to you, I'd go to the nearest apple store, but before you do, you should make reservation to see the genius there. I'm sure they will help you. Just show them where the stuck pixel(s) are.
But honestly, though I don't want to be a downer here, but even if you get it replaced, the possibility that you might get more stuck pixels when you get a new one. But of course, you can also be lucky that you can get a perfect one too. Usually stuck pixels should fix it self (not all the time tho).

My bookmarks disappeared. The health report says I have 289, but I can't access them.

I opened firefox and all my bookmarks were gone. There is only 1 backup, it is from this morning and it contains only the default bookmarks. However, when I go to the health report it says I have 289 bookmarks, so it knows they are there somewhere.

Really people, if you have no solution, then why waste time making such pointless posts. It's almost as if you feel threatened by the fact that there is a major flaw somewhere in Firefox. ICloud says it has matched all my tunes but I can't access them

I bought iMatch, and it went through it's original (and long) setup. In my iTunes library, however, none of the tunes (4000+) has the cloud logo next to it. A handful have an slashed cloud. I can't access any of them on my iPhone. When I try to update the match, it checks and finishes in about 30 seconds, and says I'm all up to date. Anyone else having this problem?

To enable iTunes Match on your iPhone go to Settings>Music and turn on iTunes Match.
Now you should be able to access your iCloud musisc library.

You'll need a program that can open and edit the invoices. You can search the app store for "invoices" and see what you can find - perhaps there is a cloud-based one that would allow you to store the invoices on their server.
Or if the apps are fairly simple, you could open them in a Word Processing app that does sync two ways with the cloud and do your work on them - and then store the receipts in Dropbox/iDisk/Sugarsync. Loading the actual documents onto those services is very easy and self-explanatory once you sign up for them.

I have TV Programmes on my iMac but I can't get them on my iPad

Can anyone please hep with the above. I've downloaded 2 childrens episondes for my son on my iMac but despite syncing and having the box ticked for transfer to my iPad nothing appears. Going online I can see them in my 'purchased history' and despite downloading them again on my iPad they don't appear. Any help would be appreciated as this is driving me mad, they don't appear in Videos or anywhere that I can see.

It sounds like you may have purchased TV shows on an iPod touch, and want to transfer them to the iTunes library on your Mac.
