Itunes shows songs on Ipod, but I could not see any songs on ipod

I bought iPod nano today and tried to sync all songs and selected songs, after syncing in itunes, ipod shows there are songs on the ipod.
after I disconnect from my computer and when I look for music on my ipod, I do not find any music. But still if I connect, itunes show songs are available on iPod.
Tried restore,, updated itunes.. no luck so far.. cleared itunes cache as well..
please help.

I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)

Sounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.

The ability to use AirPlay is BOTH an OS requirement(Mountain Lion) AND has hardware requirements. You need to check and see if your 2010 Air will support Airplay.

I subscribed to a photo stream in iPhoto but I'm not seeing any photos

I'm using iPhoto 9.6 on a Macbook using Yosemite. Someone shared a photostream with me. I subscribed (using Yosemite) without any errors but I'm not seeing any photos. I've confirmed with the person who created the photostream that there are photos in it (I've seen them first hand). I've had this issue before on Mavericks so . Anyone seen this before? Any idea how to solve?

Solution:
I took a brute force approach:
- I quit iPhoto
- I launched Settings, went to iCloud, turned off Photo
- I launched iPhoto
- I verified that iCloud was off
- I quit iPhoto
- I went back to Settings, went to iCloud, turned on Photo
- I launched iPhoto
It's now synching all the albums, although the one I published while in this broken case seems to have now disappeared.

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them

By default the photos will be sorted by the date modified.

So i've found the answer to this by clicking on every menu and setting in the itunes store. It turns out some purchases in the cloud can be hidden probably as the result of an interrupted transfer/sync/backup or a network outage. To unhide purchases 'greyed out ' items , go to the Itunes store (on the PC) click on your account name and select view account. (you'll be prompted for your itunes password) once you are in scroll down to the purchase history section. there should be an option for hidden purchases. click through and click on unhide purchases, redownloadble purchases. any hidden purchases will then show up. click on unhide to reactivate and download. This may only work for purchases in the cloud.

Though it refers to items purchased from the iTunes Store, it applies to all your iTunes content. And if you happen to also own an iPod:
How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer
Once you have the tracks on some removable medium, you can mount that on your new computer and then just drag the content to the iTunes window. Make sure that the option to "copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" is set in the iTunes -> Advanced -> General preferences before you do. Alternatively, you can use the Add To Library command and select each track (or folder of tracks).
If you won't be using that Windows system once you move the content, don't forget to deauthorize the system from your iTunes Store account before you dispose of the computer.

Not seeing any apps from ipod using windows 8

I am tying to backup my ipod into itunes and when it says that it it synced I do not see any of my apps listed in itunes. I still see everything on my ipod.

Go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings. You'll have to reenter your network login info, but it should work after that.

When I connect my IPod, a message comes up stating itunes has detected and ipod but it could not be properly identified

I have installed, uninstalled and installed itunes and restarted my computer and reset my ipod and it is still not "identifying" my ipod. What am I doing wrong?

Got new Ipod, but Mac will not see it

I just got a used Ipod from my friend (it works). I was trying to update on my PC,but then decided to go use it on my Mac.
I downloaded the Ipod updater and it says each time to plug in the Ipod..It is..The Ipod just shows an icon of it being plugged into a wall electric socket. What can I do to get my Ipod to show up , do I can update it or make it reformatted or new..

He means 2G like Second Generation (Scroll-wheel) iPod, not the 2 GigaByte Nano. Yah, confusing.
I'd have to agree with Colin, however - if iTunes works, it maybe an iPod thing. If nothing else, try trashing iTunes and iPod preferences file. (~/Library/Prefernces/com.apple.iTunes.plst & com.apple.iPod.plst). That's the library in your user folder. Note that there's an iPod Pref file in the "Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences/" folder too. Find those files, and move them to the trash. Open iTunes, connect iPod, and make sure everything works - iTunes will regenerate the preferences files, although you'll have to re-adjust the preferences yourself in iTunes.
