Iweb and flash

Question

Hi,
I am trying to help someone who posted a question at flashkit and I am not familiar with iweb
He has a structure like this
skip-up.html
service.html
sub directory skip-up_files contains a file "widget1_markup.html"
the widget file seems to contain the reference to his menu swf file.

this swf is supposed to load a new page when a menu item is clicked.
if you just put this swf in a page alone it launches the links in a new browser window.
So it seems the links work.
The problem seems to be that it is in this widget html file not the actual skip-up.html page.
In the flash menu FLA it says (using AS2)
getURL("service.html");
it does not work. How should the FLA actionscript look so that the flash file in the widget html loads the new page into the browser.

Sure. You aren't creating a menu per se, but a presentation slide. Using Keynote you add the various graphic elements and then assign animations to them (drop, dissolve, etc.) and then assign the proper order. Keynote works a lot like iWeb - same inspector and same interface.
Then I add hyperlinks to the menu items and save as a Keynote presentation. Then from the export menu, select Flash. The flash format preserves hyperlinks and allows for interactivity. It also makes really small file sizes (120k for this movie - the same QT file was over 600k). Then take that flash movie (.swf extension) and drop in on your iWeb page. iWeb tries to resize the movie to smaller dimensions (650 x 420 or so), but I resized it in the Inspector back to 800x600.
Then I uploaded the site to .Mac
