Hi dr.neubauer, thanks for the answer.I downloaded Eclipse with the plug-ins already installed from http://repast.sourceforge.net/. I deleted the 3D display when I launch a project and the project is running in 2D.I think that I have a problem with the graphics driver.I don't know your famous cube but I made a project with Google SketchUp and it's ok.I didn't put all the error message the last time because I didn't have enough place(limit of the characters).I will put all the message in two parts because is a bit different than the first one.Thank you again.

I RUN NETBEANS 5.0 AND I HAVE J3D INSTALLED, BUT COULD NOT RUN A SIMPLE PROGRAM IN MY SYSTEM,
THE ABOVE ERROR KEEP COMING UP,
    WHAT DO I DO?

  • Jre Error

Hi guys, im getting this error when i run my program:
An unexpected error has been detected by Java Runtime Environment:
    # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x04e8c964, pid=860, tid=320

    # The crash happened outside the Java Virtual Machine in native code.

    Process completed.
Am i getting this error because im running windows vista on a virtual machine? The program compiles without error and runs but i dont get the 3D output at the end instead the error i have posted above. It works at school, perhaps because they are windows machines?
    thanks

    Hi,
I think you should report the error to the Virtual machine vendor. As I can see from the message below. JVM has nothing to do with the error but rather the error is in the native code. So there is a java native method is calling a native code ( machine code )

  • Fatal error in JVM when using effects such as Glow.

    Hi all,
When making use of effects such as Glow or even rotating a Label the application crashes with the following error.
    # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
    # EXCEPTION_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION (0xc000001d) at pc=0x03bd6037, pid=3664, tid=3228

    # Problematic frame:
    # C [decora-sse.dll+0x6037]
Has anyone else come across this? It's not repeatable so I guess it's somehow related to my system. Virus, Hardware maybe.
The version is JavaFX 2 public beta.

Here is more information from the log file. It would not surprise me if it were hardware/graphics card related my system is getting on a bit.

  • Javafx 2 plugin for RCP

I develop an eclipse RCP application and want to use Javafx 2.
So, i have created a javafx 2 plugin with the wizard New > Project > Plug in development > Plug in from existing jar archives.
My RCP application has a dependency to that plug-in. It compiles and works well when i launch my application from eclipse.
    But when i try to deploy it, i obtain a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javafx/scene/chart/Axis caused by java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javafx.scene.chart.Axis
    What's wrong?

What is missing? How can i deploy javafx in my application so the user does not have to install javafx?
    Thanks

    Yes, it does!
Finally, i solved my problems by doanloading a eclipse Indigo with the plugin efxclipse.
In the preferences > javafx i set the javafx SDK directory. Then, in my eclipse rcp, i put all javafx packages i needed in the "imported packages".
Finally, i added a dependency of my product to the plugins at.bestsolution.efxclipse.runtime.javafx and at.bestsolution.efxclipse.runtime.osgi found here
I don't know how to do that without efxclipse. I posted a message on their forum to know if there is another way easier than this one.
It seems their is some problems with classloading to fix and the plugin at.bestsolution.efxclipse.runtime.osgi care about that.
If someone has found another solution, i'm interested.

  • HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series - error message -Bad image windows\system 32\d3d 10 warp.dll

I use the HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series printer with my laptop and a desktop PC.  It works fine with the laptop but when I installed the software onto the desktop the window error message Bad Image Windows\ System 32\d3d 10 warp.dll kept popping up every few minutesd.  By a process of ilimination I discovered that it was the Photo Creations that was causing the problems, when I removed it all was good and I was able to use the printer.  The only problems is that I now cannot print photos from my pc.  I have windows 7.
    Can anyone help please?

    Hi Chris.
That error message comes from Direct3D, which is part of the DirectX software in Windows. It appears that part of the DirectX environment on your computer is corrupt. Microsoft provides a diagnostic tool that should help you sort this out. Please see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/run-directx-diagnostic-tool
If that does not solve the issue, you may want to reinstall the device driver for your graphics adapter.
When all's running smoothly, you can reinstall HP Photo Creations to print again. Our customer support team would be happy to help with the reinstallation. You can reach them at www.hp.com/global/us/en/consumer/digital_photography/free/software/support-form.html
    Hope this helps,

  • Wine - probably nt.dll error.

    Hi.
I try to run a game, which used to work just fine on my previous hardware.
It has platinum rank on appdb. When I execute it, menu comes up and then game freezes with error:
    fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32f3f0,0x00000000), stub!
fixme:d3d:WineD3D_ChoosePixelFormat Add OpenGL context recreation support to SetDepthStencilSurface
    fixme:dinput:SysMouseAImpl_Acquire Clipping cursor to (440,0)-(1246,625)
    fixme:ddraw:IDirectDrawImpl_RestoreAllSurfaces (0x12e228): Stub
    fixme:ddraw:IDirectDrawImpl_WaitForVerticalBlank (0x12e228)->(1,(nil)): Stub
    err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7b6b8040 "x11drv_main.c: X11DRV_CritSection" wait timed out in thread 001b, blocked by 0009, retrying (60 sec)
    fixme:dinput:SysMouseAImpl_Acquire Clipping cursor to (440,25)-(1246,650)
The strange thing is - it's runs smooth for 3-5 seconds and then crashes. After some research I found out that it may be caused by some multi-threading error in wine (I have AMD X2 240 and integrated Radeon HD 4200, powered up by fglrx driver).
It's all the same for every version . I have tried even an another distro, but the outcome doesn't change.
On additional note: some other games/apps work just fine.
    How can I solve this?

    Update:
Installation of catalyst-beta drivers eliminated the nt.dll error, the game doesn't crash anymore, but runs painfully slow, while the whole system is responsive and other non-native games run in 60 fps. I tried to edit direct3d entry in registry of wine, but that doesn't do the trick. Tried aticonfig --psuedo-color=on too. Error log looks like that now:
    fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32f434,0x00000000), stub!
fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_desktop_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 16
fixme:d3d:WineD3D_ChoosePixelFormat Add OpenGL context recreation support to SetDepthStencilSurface
    fixme:dinput:SysMouseAImpl_Acquire Clipping cursor to (0,0)-(800,600)
    fixme:ddraw:IDirectDrawImpl_RestoreAllSurfaces (0x138e50): Stub
In my alternative linux distro, on the other partition, the game runs smooth but crashes, so it's like reversed situation.
    Update 2:
It seems that it works flawless in windowed mode, but has issues in fullscreen - even in wine's virtual desktop. My wild guess was "vsync", but disabling it solved nothing.
    fixme:ddraw:IDirectDrawImpl_WaitForVerticalBlank (0x145e18)->(1,(nil)): Stub

I missed important step file extension needs to be renamed to ANYTHING but .dll In my case just moved it to desktop. It must be an issue with the Windows Registry changing the pointer to the old DLL.

I'm working on a desktop app that sometimes runs cpu- and memory-intensive graph manipulations. We just saw the following error. I don't like to assume that I've found a JVM bug, but of all the explanations I've thought of so far that seems to be by far the strongest.

Thanks, but I'd already found that out from the first search I did.
We have no JNI code. I am pretty certain that no library we use has any either, though if you have a 100% way to verify or enforce that, it could be helpful.
Short of parsing class files that isn't possible. A library might use a OS library so you can't just look for a shared library.
Assuming I'm right in that last paragraph, is it more likely that we found some sort of bug in Sun's native code (maybe already discovered?) or that there was a hardware failure (e.g. bad memory / CPU produces wrong bytes)?Or software on the system that is causing it. Patches in the wrong order, bad patches, corrupted, etc can cause it.

Is there a different part of hs_err_... that I could post to make answering these questions easier? The full thing didn't fit because of the character limit on this forum. An actual VM bug with a crash is only 'solvable' by creating a bug and attaching the crash file.
Posting it here is unlikely to produce a solution.
A solution is unlikely to show up soon via the bug nor the forums. If you have a sales/support contract with Sun that might lead to a solution.
If you don't have that then your only choice is to use log files to determine where the crash occured, and then try different code to see if it goes away.

  • Running workbook from .bat fails to start application missing CORE40 dll

I have been running several workbook via windows task scheduler / vbscript &/or bat files.
I now have a new box which I access thru Remote Desktop Connection, so I can run all these automated updates without having my screen blinking everytime a shedule workbook starts.
If I click on the actual Discoverer icon, or the discoverer workbook shortuct, all works well.
If I click on the .bat file, or try to run the workbook via the cmd , it gives me the following error:
DIS4USR.EXE – Unable To Locate Component
“this application has failed to start because CORE40.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.”
The dll is under c/orant/bin/core40.dll, which is where I've read it should be, and it works fine in my regular box...
    Please help! URGENT :)
    Thanks!

    Hello
Check the PATH environment variables for the machine you are on and the one you are connecting to.
You might not have Discoverer's objects in the PATH.
Another possibility is that you have more than one piece of ORACLE software on the machine and you may need to also set the ORACLE_HOME within the BAT file.
    Best wishes
    Michael

  • I was updating Firefox from version 6 to version 7, after updating I tried to open Firefox and the message I got is this: This application has failed to start because xul.dll was not found. How can I fix this?

I was updating Firefox to the newest version 7.0.1 from version 6.0.2 I think it was, I clicked the restart Firefox button that always comes up after updating. It started updating and then Firefox never restarted like it was supposed to after it was done updating. I then tried to open Firefox and it told me "This application has failed to start because xul.dll was not found." I did have Firefox crash on maybe about 30 minutes or so earlier which bothered me because I have been using Firefox for years and never had it crash on me before but I didn't think much of it at the time it happened because I was able to go back onto Firefox and finish what I had been working on. A while later I checked for updates and updated. The first time I tried to update it didn't work though so I had to shutdown Firefox and reopen Firefox and start the update a second time. It was after the second time that when I tried to open Firefox I got that message about failing to start because xul.dll can't be found. I filed a crash report when my Firefox crashed. This would have been around 1am-2am in the morning that Firefox first crashed and then wouldn't allow me to open it after updating. I have a DELL laptop running the Windows XP operating system but the laptop is probably at least 6 or 7 years old. The laptop will no longer charge so I always have to have it plugged into an outlet. Both my laptop hard drive and my external hard drive give me messages that I am running out of disk space on my hard drive. I bought this laptop 6 or 7 years ago second hand so it could be even older. In short it's a piece of crap and it gives me all kinds of issues but I currently can't afford a new one, but I have never had any problems with Firefox and I use Firefox more than any other aspect of my laptop so it's really really bothering me. May you please help me fix it?

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

  • Error while calling a DLL

    Hello Everyone,
I have made a dll and calling that dll in LabVIEW.
When I select a functioni n that dll, in the window where we get the Function Prototype, I am getting some unusal charcters like "?", "@@YAHXZ"  "void ?FindNodesNm@@YAHXZ(void);"
In the above dll FindNodesNM is a function which i am trying to call
Can anyone tell me why this is so?
    Thanks in advance
    Avni

If I remember correctly I think this has to do with the way you're exporting the symbols for your functions. I did a quick check in the NI KnowledgeBase and came up with this article, which discusses extra symbols in function names if you don't use extern "C" when definining the symbols to export.
