· DO NOT post full resolution screenshots!  You can use the "mogrify" command (pacman -S imagemagick) to make a thumbnail of your screenshot:
$ cp screenie.png thumb-screenie.png
$ mogrify -resize 20% thumb-screenie.png
Twenty percent of the original size is great for 1024x768 screenies.  You can then upload these images to your server and use the following code to show them on the forum:

This displays the thumbnail as a link to the screenie like this:
· Several websites also offer free image hosting, of these ImageShack is very popular and does a neat auto thumbnail:
Use the "Thumbnail for forums" link code that is supplied by ImageShack to post your thumbnail link.
· Once the new month begins please do not post new screenies in the old threads.
· If the screenshot has questionable material that might not be safe to view while at work or in a school setting, please post only a link and not a thumbnail, along with a mention of "Not Safe for Work". Posts that do not adhere to this are subject to deletion without notice at any time.
· Please try to include any links to your wallpaper or configs that you may have and/or the names of your icon theme, running apps, DE, etc. in the same post to reduce unnecessary clutter later.

The PekWM theme is Stippled and the GTK theme is Murreza. Applications are Thunar, CPlay (cplay-mplayer package), and Comix. The transparency is just a little keybinding I have for transset-df.
You can find the wallpaper here and the icon theme here.
how do you put that scrot output at the bottom line?

• How to recover chat history since January 2009...

I have spent over an hour trying various methods to get the chat history I've established with a company since January 2009. Many software updates and operating system installs over this three-year time-span has left the entire chat history very fragmented, as I only have the past two months. This entire chat history is very important, as it relates to a large portion of proof for an employment lawsuit. If anyone or anything can help with getting this 3 year chat history, I'd be very grateful.

I have a very old and ugly utility that I created, it requires it be opened in a IE ("Internet Browser") window.
Note: Once you click the "Refresh" button it can take a long time to list all the chats in
your chat history. Also, when you select a chat, depending on how many chat messages are in that chat, it can take along time to display the chat messages in a chat:

• I have a Macbook buyed in New York, Central Park store in january/2009. The screen in start show double screen and then nothing, black screen. I checked the system and is OK, the diagnostic is the screen. Have apple a spare screen???

I have a Macbook buyed in january/2009 in New York in Apple Central Park Store.
When I start the computer appears a double scren, then a few of background and then black screen, ilumitated but black screen.
Perhaps that is a screen fail. Could you please tell me if Apple have spare screen? Can I get a screen, perhaps with some program to assit to customer from Apple?
Thank you
Ivan Betancourt

Ivan,
This may not be a failure of the screen.
Try a SMC reset, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Please post back if this does not help. Are you located close to an Apple Store?

• Today, yesterday, 5 January 2009.

Mails in all my mail folders are dated either "Today" (if received today), "Yesterday" (if received yesterday), or "5 January 2009" if received earlier than yesterday. For the record, I'm running an up-to-date version of Mac OS X Leopard on a new (2009) Mac Mini, which of course wasn't even around on 5 January 2009... Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

I've done a bit of further searching on this topic with Google, and it appears that there are complaints about Mail not picking up the right date info from email headers going back many years. There are scripts available that restore the proper date on locally stored Mail folders (need to be run periodically to restore dates on recent additions to those folders), but that doesn't work in my case since I don't store any mails locally, leaving them on the IMAP server instead.
I've also tried Mozilla's ThunderBird mail client for Mac OS X: it has no problem displaying the right date under like circumstances. This date issue in Mail bugs the **** out of me, so I'm ditching Mail in favour of ThunderBird.

Thats really cool. Could you give some details on where you are sourcing this image from or even the script your using to continually update it?
It looks like the map on NOAA's website but your color scheme is much less headache provoking.
EDIT: realized I might as well post a screen shot. Heres my DWM. Unfortunately this isn't arch.....but my *nix-ing style follows arch philosophies

yep you're right it is from the NOAA website.  I just did a couple transformations, becuase like you said the original colorscheme is less than ideal. I'll post the little script i made below, i just have it on a cronjob that updates every ten minutes.  It basically just takes the negative of the image, than makes the water color transparent so you can make anything you want under the wallpaper preferences.

Use the "Thumbnail for forums" link code that is supplied by the image hosting sites to post your thumbnail link.
* Once the new month begins please do not post new screenies in the old threads.
* If the screenshot has questionable material that might not be safe to view while at work or in a school setting, please post only a link and not a thumbnail, along with a mention of "Not Safe for Work". Posts that do not adhere to this are subject to deletion without notice at any time.
* Please try to include any links to your wallpaper or configs that you may have and/or the names of your icon theme, running apps, DE, etc. in the same post to reduce unnecessary clutter later.

· DO NOT post full resolution screenshots!  You can use the "mogrify" command (pacman -S imagemagick) to make a thumbnail of your screenshot:
$ cp screenie.png thumb-screenie.png
$ mogrify -resize 20% thumb-screenie.png
Twenty percent of the original size is great for 1024x768 screenies.  You can then upload these images to your server and use the following code to show them on the forum:

This displays the thumbnail as a link to the screenie like this:
· If you do not have your own upload space you can upload to http://art.archlinux.org and link your shot here (with text) for discussion
· Several websites also offer free image hosting, of these  ImageShack is very popular and does a neat auto thumbnail:

You should use the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" link code that is supplied to post here

If you like the wallpaper, you can get it from http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a0049387/stuff/
The dock is engage with compositing enabled.
If you happen to use Archlinux PPC, you can get engage from this repo:
[e17]
Server = http://kth5.telekommunisten.net/testing/e17
(thanks kth5!)
otherwise you'll probably need to build it from the AUR.
Cheers!

Happy New Year!!
The window manager is a pet project of mine. I wanted to see if I could make a WM in freepascal
It lacks alot of functions, but it is coming along slowly.
The background I made in Gimp. I made a 1280x1024 black image and pasted one of cerise's images from this thread into it.

• The Top10 most frequently asked questions and answers (FAQ) January 2009

Dear SAP Business One Community members,
We will provide you on a regular base the top10 most frequently asked questions together with the related answers.
The Top10 from January:
1. How to install SAP Clients?
According to the symptom, this issue can be caused by the missing "SQL Native client" component.
In this situation, please refer to [SAP Note 1015229|http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/smb_searchnotes/display2.htm?note_langu=E&note_numm=703028],to resolve the issue.
2. How to put sales order number on A/R invoice?
1. Create a UDF in A/R Invoice at Row Level.
2. Apply Formatted Search on this UDF.
3. Use the Below Query:
Select T0.DocNum From ORDR T0,RDR1 T1,DLN1 T2
Where T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry And
T1.DocEntry = T2.BaseEntry
And T2.DocEntry = $\[$38.45.0\]
4.Now you can get this UDF in the print layout(template).
3. How to know variable in Print Layout?
Variable can be retrieved checking System Information in view, however it is not supported
Please refer to the attached [SAP Note 723783|http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/smb_searchnotes/display2.htm?note_langu=E&note_numm=703028] - the use of system variables isn't supported as their definitions might change after upgrade.
Variable fields are not supported due to the following reasons:
1.  Variable numbers might change after upgrading to a higher version.
2.  The user can use variable numbers which are not linked to the  document or form related to the document editing.
The list of variables is only supported for 2007 A version.
We do not have such kind of variables list for 2005 B version.
You can find the documentation of variables on Service Market Place in the following:
Go to the [Documentation Ressource Center|http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000707558&_SCENARIO=01100035870000000183&_ADDINC=011000358700001192682007E&_OBJECT=011000358700002906862005E] ->2007 A Version->How to guide->How to use PLD variables file in 2007 A Version.

4. How to clear the SBOMailer queue?
As a workaround, please use dummy or wrong SMTP server and send all those mails to that address.
After sending those mail to dummy SMTP, you can see the mail status changed to "E" (Error), then after setting up the correct smtp mailer
would not try to send the mails with status "E".
5. How to use dialer in BP?
1.How does this work?
If you have Microsoft#s automatic phone dialer installed, you can press CTRL+TAB to automatically dial the numbers in the telephone fields.
2. Are there settings I can change? In the System Initialization - General Settings - Services, to place calls directly through SAP Business One if a phone system or modem is installed on your computer or in your network, in these fields specify the area code and the number to dial for an outside line.
3. How can I troubleshoot when this doesn't work? Try to check if the number is correct, the best way to check it is to use the MS Phone Dialer and to enter this number exactly as it is written in B1. If the dialer succeed dialing this number so B1 should succeed too, if the dialer failed check what is the problem with the number or with the Microsoft Phone Dialer.
6. Iu2019m unable to set exchange rate in credit note
To set an exchange rate in a Credit Note is only possible to if the credit note is not based on another document. In this case the exchange rate of the base document will be considered. Please see also SAP Notes [686224|http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/smb_searchnotes/display2.htm?note_langu=E&note_numm=686224] und [703028|http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/smb_searchnotes/display2.htm?note_langu=E&note_numm=703028]
