Jars Missing - StrutsUixLifecycle Class not found

I am trying to work on one of the demos in OracleJDeveloper.
oracle.adf.controller.struts.actions.StrutsUixLifecycle;
oracle.cabo.servlet.event.UIXRequestEvent;
oracle.cabo.ui.data.MessageData;
oracle.cabo.adf.rt.InitModelListener;
are not found. Seems few jars are missing. May I know where can I find them,
Thanks.

Toy store was a demo for 10.1.2.

  • Class not found in applet using 2 jar files

    I have an applet which has been working for years as a stand alone or connecting directly to a derby database on my home server. I have just changed it to connect to MySQL on my ISP server via AJAX and PHP.
    I am now getting a class not found error in my browser, probably because I'm stuffing up the class path.
    The HTML I am using to call the applet is:
    <applet code="AMJApp.class"
    codebase="http://www.interactived.com/JMTalpha"
    archive="AMJ014.jar,plugin.jar"
    width="500"height="500"
    MAYSCRIPT style="border-width:0;"
    name="jsap" id="jsap"></applet>The AMJ014.jar contains the applet and supporting class files.
    The error message is strange to me because it refers to a class I noticed on another web page but which has nothing to do with my applet. Anyway, the message in full is:

  • Main-class not found error while clicking on the jar

    I have a created a jar FinARM.jar for my swing application using eclipse.
    Clicking on this jar, it is giving the problem main-class not found.
    It contains the MANIFEST.MF file, with entry Main-Class: FinAlignTest for the main class.
    FinAlignTest is my main class.
    I have a similar jar created with a small swing application (Single file) clicking on it can open the swing application.
    It is also attached above.

    Hi ,
    My Apllication runs with out any warnings or errors. But when i create a jar file using eclipse it is giving this problem.
    When i double click on the jar file i am getting this problem. MANIFEST.MF entry contains the main method entry.
    I have created another jar (Which contains a simple java file, swing application) from eclipse export option.
    It works fine on click.
    But jar FinARM.jar contains 5 files (Swing app), which even fetch some data from the database.
    My jar is placein the same machine where it can fetch data from DB
    Can u plese tell me whats the problem.

  • Class not found: C:\Orcl\OracleXSU\lib\xmlparser.jar;

    Hi,
    I am testing out the XML functionality within Oracle 8i. I
    downloaded XML SQL Utilities, modified the .bat files and run
    it. The env.bat file ran fine, however, the oraclexmlsql.bat
    file keeps giving me the message error:

    Class not found: C:\Orcl\OracleXSU\lib\xmlparser.jar;"
    I added the xmlparser.jar in the classpath already.

    would appreciate any help I can get on this.

    Hi Minh,
    It could be because of case-sensitvity. Looks like your
    directory is C:\ORCL\OracleXSU\lib whereas the error message
    indicates C:\Orcl\... Please check that. (i.e. set the path to
    C:\ORCL\ in the bat file and execute the bat file).
    Also please check the xmlparser.jar file is indeed present in
    the directory shown in the error message.
    Also in the command line window in which you are running the XML
    SQL, please verify the CLASSPATH settings by printing out the
    CLASSPATH. e.g. set %CLASSPATH%.
    Thx

  • B2B Java Callout Class not found exception

    Hello B2B Gurus,
    I am facing class not found exception, when trying to call a java code from B2B and below the configuration done from B2B side.
    Could you please help me to identify that the configuration done suffice the requirement
    1.Created a call out from

    Administration-- Callout Details -- Implementation Class -- XXClassFileName
    Administration-- Callout Details -- Library Name -- XXJarFileName.jar

    3.Agreement--Callout -- XXJavaCallout

    Please let me know if any steps I have missed for using the callout functionality.

    Sunil,
    Administration-- Callout Details -- Implementation Class -- XXClassFileNameMake sure that you are giving complete name of the class (without extension .class.). For an example if your class name is Sample and it is in package a.b.c then give class name as a.b.c.Sample
    Administration-- Configuration -- Callout Directory -- xx/yy/zz (UNIX server that is accesible from B2B)This must be valid directory existing on machine where B2B is installed.
    2.Partners--XX--Delivery Channel -- Select the channel where we need the call out -- Channel Attributes -- Transport Callout -- XXJavaCallout
    3.Agreement--Callout -- XXJavaCalloutTransport Callout and Agreement Callouts are used for different purpose. Are you sure that you really need both in your case?

  • JNLPClassloader raises class not found Exception

    I have some class files which are part of a jar file. I made sure this jar is downloaded by JWS on client machine. When application is launched in stand alone mode then JNLPClassloader complains at runTime that particular class is missing.Although this class is already inside jar file.
    Did any one faced similar situation when JNLPClassloader raises "Class Not found Exception" ? How this can be avoided?

    yeah i made sure classes are put in proper folder. As i am using Eclipse,JDK1.6, jboss so when i launch application directly from Eclipse then it works fine.
    But if i launch through JWS then it does not work. I am not able to understand why JWS can not detect classes inside Jar file downloaded on client machine ?

    Class not found: DBCreateWizard
    bash-2.05$

    I'm running Oracle 8i EE, Debian, kernel 2.4, jdk 1.1.8
    Thanks
    Simon

    I've tried to re-install oracle 8i numerous times and I can't get rid of the following error. I'm approaching the end of the second day I've spent trying to install this thing. Any help would be appreciated.
    After I set up the installtion (type of installtion, location of jdk ...etc) I click the Install button. After 0% installation progress I get the following in a message box with Help/Retry/Ignore/Cancel buttons.
    Error in writing to file
    /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/jlib/ewt-3_3_6.jar
    On the main installation interface I can also see the text "Copying ewt.jar"
    I just can't seem to stop this error. If I ignore it the installation continues for some time and then displays some more error messages (at 31% I get: Error in writing to file /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/sqlj/lib/translator.zip). Obviously, the next error message will vary depending on what I choose to install. But before I move on to those errors I want to get rid of the first message above since they could be related.
    I have plenty of disk space, access rights look okay. I've even checked my disks for bad blocks. I've looked at the jar file using jar tf ewt-3_3_6.jar and this is the tail of the output:

    If I force an install (clicking a combination of retry/ignore) then the Net8, Config Assistant and the Http webserver won't start (see previous post for what I get when trying to start dbassist). When I exit the installer I can start svrmgl successfully.
    I'm totally new to Oracles' products so I may be missing something.
    This is what is shown in installActions.log:

    I have 256MB memory with approx. 256MB swap. /u01 is in its own 2 gig partition. I haven't altered my kernel parameters for shared mem/semaphores as I thought my defaults would at least allow an install. One thing that didn't look right in that shared memory is 0kB according to /proc/meminfo

    Should MemShared be something greater than 0 for the install to work?

  • Error encountered initializing users and groups ... Class not found.

    Hi,
    I am trying to set up the example provided in Frank Nimphius and Duncan Mills great article about 'Declarative J2EE authentication and authorization with JAAS' (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/howtos/10g/jaassec/index.htm) on iAS 10g. My current problem is this : when I try to deploy my test application using an ear file, Enterprise Manager returns the following error message : 'Error encountered initializing users and groups using the specified user manager. User manager class oracle.sample.dbloginmodule.DBTableLM.DBTableLoginModule not found.'. This class is distributed in an archive, DBLoginModule.jar, that I have put in my IASHome/j2ee/home/applib and inside my test application /WEB-INF/lib directories. I have tried putting them in one place at a time, then both, with always the same 'class not found' error as result.
    Am I missing something ?
    Where should I put this archive for it to be seen by the server ?
    Could some mistake in web.xml, jazn-data.xml, orion-web.xml or orion-application.xml cause this error ?

    Hi Kapil G,
    Please let us know if you still need help with this post.
    Thank you.

    it looks like your Tomcat is missing the JTA setting.
    Tomcat
    To use LiveCycle Data Services with Tomcat when not using the integrated Tomcat configuration, install support for the Java Transaction API (JTA). You might also have to install several other libraries depending on the features that you plan to use. Follow these steps after deploying the LiveCycle Data Services WAR files. These steps are not necessary for the integrated Tomcat installation.
    Stop Tomcat.
    To install support for JTA, a recommended implementation is the Java Open Transaction Manager (JOTM), which is a fully functional open source stand-alone transaction manager.
    Download JOTM from http://jotm.objectweb.org.
    Copy the JAR files from jotm-root/lib to [tomcat-root]/common/lib.
    Create a context file for your web application and register JOTM using the Transaction element. For example, for the samples WAR create a tomcat-root/conf/Catalina/localhost/lcds-samples.xml file and add the following lines:CONTEXT antijarlocking="false" antiresourcelocking="false"   docbase="${catalina.home}/webapps/lcds-samples" path="/lcds-samples"   privileged="true">  <TRANSACTION factory="org.objectweb.jotm.UserTransactionFactory"   jotm.timeout="60"></TRANSACTION></CONTEXT>
    Note: If a context file exists for your web application, add the <TRANSACTION> element under the <CONTEXT> element.
    Increase the maximum memory to at least 512 MB by specifying the maximum heap size for the JVM in the JAVA_OPTS variable: -Xmx512m
    (Optional) To enable custom authentication, locate the Tomcat security resource libraries under install_root/resources/security/tomcat.
    Place the flex-tomcat-common.jar and flex-tomcat-server.jar files in the tomcat/lib folder.
    Add the following line to the context descriptor file for your web application:
    <VALVE classname="flex.messaging.security.TomcatValve"></VALVE>
    You can now perform authentication against the current Tomcat realm. Usually, the default configuration for authentication stores user information in conf/tomcat-users.xml. See the Tomcat documentation for more information on realms. See the LiveCycle Data Services documentation for more information on custom authentication.
    You might also have to update the active <LOGIN-COMMAND> in /WEB-INF/flex/services-config.xml in each deployment of a LiveCycle Data Services WAR file. For Tomcat, ensure that the TomcatLoginCommand is active in the <SECURITY>section:<SECURITY><LOGIN-COMMAND server="Tomcat"></LOGIN-COMMAND>...</SECURITY>
    (Optional) To use the JMSAdapter with the Message Service, install and configure a JMS provider (such as ActiveMQ or openJMS) for use with Tomcat.
    Restart Tomcat.

    Hi,
    I also tried the pcl.jar in the shared lib in server.xml however still it gives Callback class not found.
    Also, I am using JDEV - 10.1.3.4.0 to deploy my BPEL process on the SOA - 10.1.3.1.

    any suggestions on what else i am missing?? thanks in advance

    I had the same problem. But I was compiling and running code at command line on Windows XP.
    My db2java.zip was located here C:\Program Files\some_folder\SQLLIB\java\ and jxl.jar was located somewhare else.
    In order to keep all these files in one place, I created a folder "D:/classes" and added db2java.zip and jxl.jar to it.
    Then set the classpath like this set CLASSPATH=D:\classes\jxl.jar;D:\classes\db2java.zip;.
    Now everything works fine. No more class not found errors.

  • "Java Class not found in classpath" Error in DESIGNER

    Hello All,
    I'm trying to connect in Designer using a JDBC connection to MS SQL Server 2008.  As per the instructions, I updated my jdbc.sbo file with the path to the existing two JAR files.  However, I still get the following error when I try and connect in Designer:  "Java Class not found in classpath : C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer\jdbc\Drivers\sqlsrv".  Of course, this error includes the drive path with the location to my JAR files.  Any help in resolving this nagging issue is very GREATLY appreciated.  Also, if anyone needs it I can post a copy of the jdbc.sbo file to this thread.
    Thank you,
    Pankaj

    Stratos,
    Your suggestion didn't help.  I tried to connect after restarting my machine and I still get the error.  And, I've also tried adding a connection to MS SQL Server 2005 using this JDBC driver, and that didn't help either.  Any other suggestions?  Would it help to see my "jdbc.sbo" file?  Thanks again for your and everyone else's help, and I look forward to your reply.
    Regards,
    Pankaj
