Java class in ASP page

My company uses ASP pages calling java objects ( do not ask me why). Now we have an issue about passing the http requests into the java objects.
You know in asp pages you can Server.createObject(MyClass), and then in MyClass.java, we uses com.ms.iis.asp.Request as the wrapper of Http request.
Here I have two questions:
1)Where the heck can I find the API documents about those Microsoft JRE classes? Could not find it anywhere myself.
2) I used in getQueryString().getString(param_name) in com.ms.iis.asp.Request , as suggested in http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-06-2000/jw-0616-iis.html. But I did not get any http request params in my java class. Can someone paste a fragment of working code?

One I don't want to Install Microsoft's Visual J++ or
Microsoft JVMTo call java program directly in ASP, you have to write some com+ component around Java and call through com component.
To call java program indirectly in ASP, you can put all java code in *.jar file and call it through a batch file in ASP.
Otherwise, just install Tomcat behind IIS and write JSP code and let IIS pass the control to Tomcat if a user request a JSP page.

Calling java class from jsp page

Dear Friends.
I wrote jsp page and java class.
Am calling java class from jsp page. after processing result,
I have to refresh jsp page from java class.
processing time may take 5 minutes or 1 minute etc. that depends on user.

Passing parameters from a Java class to Jsp page

Hi everybody. I'm newbie in using Java class in conjunction with JSP pages. Infact I have a problem. How can I pass the parameters used in a Java class (as UserName, Password, and so on..) to a JSP page? What methods (and classes) I have to use?

Problems with data controls from java classes in JSF pages.

Hi! We have a problem in our Application that we are developing with JSF pages using Data Controls generated from facades java classes. When we running a page in debug mode and the page are loading, if we insert a breakpoint in the first line of method referenced in the data control, the execution enter two times in the method, and this is a problem for us. How to solve this?
We are using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2 with ADF faces.

Import java-classes in JSP-page

Hi,
I'm starting with JSP and with trying one of the first examples in the book "beginning J2EE 1.4" from wrox, i got following problem.
i'm trying to import a java-class in the package CH03 with
<%@ page import="Ch03.FaqCategories" %>but he didn't find the package Ch03.
I try already many things and i have no idea of the cause of the problem. So it's difficult to give information that leads to the solution.
Maybe helpfull is the direcory-structure:
jsp-page: /Ch03/welcome.jsp
java-classe: /Ch03/WEB-INF/classes/Ch03/FaqCategories.class
If you need source-codes or other information, just ask.

Your help was one step into the good direction and that problem is solved.
The application work now with studio one, but if i try it to work it with a stand-alone tomcat server it doesn't work anymore. I go first try to solve this problem by my self or at least try to describe the problem more exactly, before i ask for new help.

Scope of a java class in JSP page

If I use a java bean using the
<jsp:useBean
id="beanSomeName"
scope="page|request|session|applicaton
I can specify the scope of of the bean after which I can assume it is Garbage Collected.
However if I just create a new Java Class in a jsp bean ( I inherited this code ) what will be scope of this java class. When will it be Garbage collected.
Is it Page scope?

If you do
<% MyClass c = new MyClass(); %>
and don't do anything else to store it in the request or session than it is like page scope.
if you do
<%! MyClass c = new MyClass(); %>
it is more like application scope.

Calling my Java class from JSP page

Hello, I am trying to call my Java class from my JSP page passing parameters to it and getting back a collection of result sets. Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong:
JSP code to call Java class:

I get this error when I try to run this JSP page using tomcat:

ADF : How to import a java class in jspx page

Import nativa java class in UCM page

I need to integrate couple of java classes in existing UCM pages. Let's say we have some class like this one: http://pastebin.com/aybc6rnF
The point is to be imported in lots of templates like this:

and used like this:

create a new idoc script function as sample #7 in the howtocomponents shows.

the first hit should be a good one. The single component is a bundle of 10 samples if memory serves and number 7 is the sample for new IDOC script functions that have pure java behind them.

I'm trying to import java classes inside my jsp page, while doing that i am getting compilation error "package uma.natarajan.javaclasses" not found. I don't know where to copy the java files. i'm keeping my jsp files under public_html folder

I think the OP wants to use a class file as a COM object. I've never done that, but this URL:

seems to indicate that you should have placed the class file into the c:\winnt\Java\TrustLib\ sub directory before you ran the JAvaReg bat file - I would re-run JavaReg and bounce IIS and associated services and see if that works out.
