Java.sql.SQLException: No corresponding LOB data found  in XML Publisher

Hi
I am getting java.sql.SQLException: No corresponding LOB data found : error when i submit XML Report Publisher request through SRS. I can view the output within the template by pressing the preview button during template creation .When i am submiting the request using SRS and also changing the Option to Excel in the layout format in SRS window and if i see the preview then i found this error ,
"java.sql.SQLException: No corresponding LOB data found : SELECT FILE_DATA, DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(FILE_DATA), FILE_NAME, LAST_UPDATE_DATE FROM XDO_LOBS WHERE LOB_TYPE = :1 AND APPLICATION_SHORT_NAME = :2 AND LOB_CODE = :3 AND LANGUAGE = :4 AND TERRITORY = :5 at oracle.apps.xdo.oa.schema.server.XdoLobsInputStream.<init>(XdoLobsInputStream.java:108) at oracle.apps.xdo.oa.schema.server.LobHelper.getLob(LobHelper.java:877) at oracle.apps.xdo.oa.schema.server.LobHelper.getBlobDomain(LobHelper.java:911)"
but for PDF it is working correct But it is not working when i submit XML Report Publisher.
Could some one help me ?

    It will be great if you provide some more basic details like:
    What activity you was doing??
    How you are doing?
    Did you get this error earlier also??
    Where did you get this error?
    It looks like you are using some sort of cursor and not handling the exception properly.

  • XDOREPDB 5.6.3 fails java.sql.SQLException No Corresponding..

    All, well after spending a day finding a number of bugs in 5.6.3 (and some fixes thankyou) I have found which I think is another problem. Firstly there is virtually no documentation on XDOREPDB (Tim please point me in the right direction if there is).
    I need a 2 step burst to be performed on a Statement (which you have to do). At first I thought the error was related to metalink note: 399349.1 in which the parameters have changed. However could someone look at the following error. I have debuged the OPP and cannot see the problem.

  • Java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Size Data Unit (SDU) mismatch

    Hi Experts,
    I'm encountering this error in my SAP-JDBC (Oracle) interface. The error message doesn't say much but the query being sent from SAP is working when executed directly into the database. I'm using thin JDBC driver for this connection.
    <SAP:AdditionalText>com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. Appreciate your insights regarding this. Thanks a lot!
    Mark

    I'm encountering this error in my SAP-JDBC (Oracle) interface. The error message doesn't say much but the query being sent from SAP is working when executed directly into the database. I'm using thin JDBC driver for this connection.
    Welcome to the forum!
    Please get into the habit of SHOWING us what you are doing instead of just telling us.
    So don't say 'the query being sent'; SHOW us the query being sent.
    And don't say 'thin JDBC driver'; SHOW us the actual name and version of the JDBC jar file you are using.
    For JDBC issues you should also provide the full 4 digit Oracle version (select * from V$VERSION) and the full Java version that you are using.
    When you can reproduce the problem by using a simple set of Java code it helps if you post the code so we can try to reproduce the problem.
    A search of the web shows that there have been reports that upgrading to ojdbc6.jar resolves the problem but for other uses it seemed to be a case of several threads using the same connection.

  • Java.sql.SQLException:ORA-01407: cannot update ("WAVESET", "TASK", "XML")

    Hi,
    We are currently facing the above mentioned error while trying to install Sun IdM 7.1 in WebSphere 6.0. The same ear works fine in all my other environments (all are WebSphere 5). This is what we did
    1. Took a copy of the ear thats works.
    2. Extract.
    3. Modified the serverrepository.xml by using the lh command. Use the newly generated xml file in the extracted folder (WEB-INF), Pack it to a new EAR
    4. Configure the datasource that will be used to communicate with the Index repository.
    5. Deploy.
    Deployment completes successfully. However, when we try to run a task, or import file using IdM admin console, we get this error 'java.sql.SQLException:ORA-01407: cannot update ("WAVESET", "TASK", "XML") to NULL'. we even checked the user permissions on this db schema. they all look good.
    We also checked if we are using the right iiop port number in lh command.
    We arent sure what could be the issue. I am not able to simulate this issue in other environment, as they all turn out to be successful.
    any pointers?
    thanks.

    I still think it's a jdbc error.what is your DB platform?
    is you ServerRepository.xml configured with a jndi data source (and that's why you use iiop)? If so then try to create a new connection through a direct DB URL like:
    lh setRepo -tDBTYPE -uURL -Uusername -Ppassword -n -oServerRepository.xml
    and then try to re-run your update command. if it fails again then please post the complete error message.. hope this helps

    Has amyone encountered this exception? If so, could you please shed some light for what might be going wrong?
    Here is my confuguration:
    400MB RAM
    1.2GHTz processor
    Win2K Pro
    Oracle server 9.0.1
    JDBC Thin driver (libs for 9.0.1)
    Scenario:
    My Java code uses Oracle Spatial to insert SDO_GEOMETRY objects into my DB model.
    I have a config file where I store my connection properties, e.g.,
    <DBConnection name="twatest">
    <JDBCDriver>oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver</JDBCDriver>
    <URL>jdbc:oracle:thin:@saturn:1521:saturn</URL>
    <Username>user1</Username>
    <Password>twatest</Password>
    </DBConnection>
    We have 2 schemas defined: user1 and twatest.
    The problem first occured when I switched from user1 to twatest. Consequent attempt to run the process as user user1 failed! The Java SQL statements do not use schemas (so they default, I suppose, to the default schema for that particular user, in our case being user1-->user1, twatest-->twatest).
    The problem happens in the following Java class (search for "HERE" to see where exactly the problem occurs):
    package com.vividsolutions.twatest;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    import oracle.sql.*;
    import oracle.sdoapi.OraSpatialManager;
    import oracle.sdoapi.geom.*;
    import oracle.sdoapi.adapter.*;
    import oracle.sdoapi.sref.*;
    import com.vividsolutions.twatest.parser.*;
    import com.vividsolutions.twatest.config.*;
    import com.vividsolutions.twatest.model.*;

    My client class calls LakeLoader.loadLake() method in a loop to load a bunch of Lake objects into the DB. The first lake in the list is created without problems, but when the 2-nd lake is being inserted, I get an exception at the preparedStatement.executeUpdate() statement. This happens consistently.
    I tried to find information on this on the net, but seems that this problem only happened when people dealt with LOBs?!
    Thank you very much!

    Suresh -- I'd probably log a TAR with Oracle support for this question if you definitely need it resolved. Support have access to all manner of existing cases, so this may be something they have seen before.
    cheers

  • Error While viewing data on XML model- java.sql.SQLException: constante num

    I am trying to read an XML file and I keep getting an error. At first it worked, and the it stopped working. I re-did everthing exactly as first time and I cannot get it work
    Here is what I do :
    1)     Create Physical Architecture under the XML Technology.
    a) we create a Data Server with these data:
              Name: XML_SERIVA_TM_DES
              Technology: XML
              JDBC Driver: com.sunopsis.jdbc.driver.xml.SnpsXmlDriver
              JDBC Url: jdbc:snps:xml?file=c:\Temp\hoy\CRM_CR_CURRENCY.xml&dtd=c:\Temp\hoy\ServiciosSerivaConsultasTypes0.xsd
         b) We place the files xml and xsd files according to the JDBC provided in previous point.
         We click on "Test Connection" and Connection is correct
         c) We create a physical schema under the Data Server created in point a) , with these data:
              Name: XML_SERIVA_TM_DES (After created the name is replaced by XML_SERIVA_TM_DES.Esquema)
              Schema (Schema) : <No Definido> ( not sure of english value, it should be <Undefined>)
              Schema (Work Schema) : <No Definido> ( not sure of english value, it should be <Undefined>)
              Default :It is a checkbox , and it is ticked.
              Under the "Context" tab, we add a logical schema named XML_SERIVA_TM for the "Desarrollo" Context
    2) Create a Model On the Designer Navigator, we expand the "Models" panel
         a) For Organization, We create a "Folder" Model. It is named "XML"
         b) Under the Folder created in a), we create a new Model , with these data:
              Name: XML_SERIVA_TM
              Code: XML_SERIVA_TM
              Technology: XML
              Logical Schema: XML_SERIVA_TM
         c) Do reverse-engineering.
              In the Reverse tab of the model,
                   + "Standard" is selected
                   + Context: "Desarrollo"
                   + The types of objects to reverse-engineer are: Table
              In the Selective reverse tab, we select : New Datastores, Existing Datastores, Objects to reverse.
              All the datastores that appear are checked
              We click on Reverse Engineer in the toolbar menu
              And the reverse engineer is done successfully and the datastores appear in the model panel
         d) We try to test the reverse engineering by clicking on the datastores and select "View Data",
              after click we get the folloging exception (running with Local agent) :

    I really don't have any clue about what is happening. I have made sure files are in UTF-8 encoding. I don't know if any jar might be corrupted.

    You may sure have found the answer but it can help futur visitors:
    Did you specified a Schema name for your physical schema ?
    I had the same problem and no schema was set in my physical schema, when setting it, it must be OK.

                    PreparedStatement ps = c.prepareStatement(INSERTNAME);
                    ps.setString(1,name); //,2,street,3,city,4,state,6,phone);
                    ps.setInt(5,zipcode);
                    rowcount = ps.executeUpdate();
                    } catch(SQLException e) {
                        System.err.println("SQLException caught!");
                        e.printStackTrace();
            return rowcount;
    }and now the test script...
    import java.sql.*;
    public class daoTest {
       public static void main(String[] args)    {
          int rowcount = 0;
          ResultSet rs = null;
          try {
                contactDAO cd = new contactDAO();
                cd.setContact("RALPH","123 My Street","Reston","Virginia",20194,"(666)666-6666");
                cd.getContact("RALPH");
            /*    while(rs.next()) {
                       System.out.println("\t" + rs.getString("NAME") +
                                          "\t" + rs.getString("STREET") +
                                          "\t" + rs.getString("CITY"));
              } catch (Exception e) {
                  System.out.println("ERROR: failed to load pointbase JDBC driver.");
                  e.printStackTrace();
                  return;
    }

    Some of the things that I note that are wrong with the above code.
    - It isn't a DAO because it is encapsulating the data as well has the functionality.
    - It is trying to return a result set outside of the scope of the statement.
    - Resources are not being closed.
    - Bind variables are not being set.

  • Java.sql.SQLException:ORA-01801:date format is too long for internal buffer

    Hi,
    I am getting the following exception when i trying to insert data in to a table through a stored procedure.
    oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01801: date format is too long for internal buffer
    when execute this stored procedure from ana anonymous block , it gets executed successfully, but i use a OracleCallableStatement to execute the procedure i am getting this error.
    Please let me know how to resolve this error.
    Is this error something to do with the Database Configuration ?
    Thanks & Regards
    Meenal

    I don't know if this will help, but we were getting this error in several of the standard OA framework pages and after much pain and aggravation it was determined that visiting the Sourcing Home Page was changing the timezone. For most pages this just changed the timezone that dates were displayed in, but some had this ORA-01801 error and some others had an ORA-01830 error (date format picture ends before converting entire input string). Unfortunately, if you are not using Sourcing at your site, this probably won't help, but if you are, have a look at patch # 4519817.
    Note that to get the same error, try the following query (I got this error in 9.2.0.5 and 10.1.0.3):
    select to_date('10-Mar-2006', 'DD-Mon-YYYY________________________________________________HH24:MI:SS') from dual;
    It appears that you can't have a date format that is longer than 68 characters.

  • Java.sql.SQLException : There is no process to read data written to a pipe

    I have an IDoc being sent from SAP R/3 to Oracle using JDBC Adapter
    I get the following error message:
    Last message processing started 02:03:43 2004-12-14, Error: Transform error in xml processor class, rollback:
    ERROR:Processing request: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'MATERIAL_MASTER': java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: There is no process to read data written to a pipe.
    did anybody encounter this exception before..? any solutions?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Friends,
    This problem was fixed when I increased the "number of retries" in the JDBC adapter configuration.
    Thanks
