"javadoc: invalid flag: -d" when using "-doclet"

When i change the options of javadoc to use a custom doclet (by adding -doclet and -docletpath) javadoc just throws an error saying:
javadoc: invalid flag: -d
Is this a known bug?

Hi there, I have the same problem now.
My doclet works fine when calling without ant.
(Of course with -d parameter.)
Also I tried to address the original sun doclet
in an <javadoc ...
<doclet>
statement, and also with this doclet got the error
"javadoc: invalid flag: -d". So I am sure it is a bug
in the combination of ant and javadoc.
I tried "ant -v mydoclet", but saw nothing wrong (despite the
error message and break of javadoc):

You may need to use something other than the contact_name in the order by in the row_number function if you require the values in specific columns, but given your sample data, I have no idea what that might be.

  • Invalid SOAP action when using java ws WebService

    Hi all,
    this is a slightly more detailed error for a problem i posted recently. I am connecting to a web service that was generated from WSDL. It has two methods "HelloWorld" and "HelloSayFirstName". As defined in the WSDL, the methods use the SOAP action document style. I want to add a cookie to the http header, so after the port is created, I use the following to add the header to the requestContext:
              BindingProvider bindingProvider = (BindingProvider) servicePort;
              Map<String, Object> requestContext = bindingProvider.getRequestContext();
              List<String> cookies = new ArrayList<String>();
              cookies.add("mycookie=mytoken");
              HashMap<String, List<String>> httpHeaders = new HashMap<String, List<String>>();
              httpHeaders.put(HTTPConstants.HEADER_COOKIE, cookies);
              requestContext.put(MessageContext.HTTP_REQUEST_HEADERS, httpHeaders);
    This works when I call the first method (HelloWorld) - the first activity message sent to the server contains the following:
    <HttpRequest>
    <Method>POST</Method>
    <QueryString></QueryString>
    <WebHeaders>
    <Cache-Control>no-cache</Cache-Control>
    <Connection>keep-alive</Connection>
    <Pragma>no-cache</Pragma>
    <Transfer-Encoding>chunked</Transfer-Encoding>
    <Content-Type>text/xml; charset=UTF-8</Content-Type>
    <Accept>*</Accept>
    <Cookie>mycookie=mytoken</Cookie>
    <Host>exampleHost</Host>
    <User-Agent>Java/1.5.0_14</User-Agent>
    <SOAPAction>"http://tempuri.org/IMyService/HelloWorld"</SOAPAction>
    </WebHeaders>
    </HttpRequest>
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <s:Header xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <To s:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2005/05/addressing/none">http://exampleHost/WebServices/WCFService/Service.svc</To>
    <Action s:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2005/05/addressing/none">http://tempuri.org/IMyService/HelloWorld</Action>
    </s:Header>
    <soap:Body>
    <HelloWorld xmlns="http://tempuri.org/" xmlns:ns2="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/" xmlns:ns3="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/">
    <myValue1>world</myValue1>
    </HelloWorld>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    However, after this method, the httpHeaders in the requestContext object have been updated to include the "Accept" header and the "SOAPAction" header - which is the incorrect action! Now, when I call the method "HelloSayFirstName" I get the following:
    <HttpRequest>
    <Method>POST</Method>
    <QueryString></QueryString>
    <WebHeaders>
    <Cache-Control>no-cache</Cache-Control>
    <Connection>keep-alive</Connection>
    <Pragma>no-cache</Pragma>
    <Transfer-Encoding>chunked</Transfer-Encoding>
    <Content-Type>text/xml; charset=UTF-8</Content-Type>
    <Accept>*</Accept>
    <Cookie>mycookie=mytoken</Cookie>
    <Host>exampleHost</Host>
    <User-Agent>Java/1.5.0_14</User-Agent>
    <SOAPAction>"http://tempuri.org/IMyService/HelloWorld"</SOAPAction>
    </WebHeaders>
    </HttpRequest>
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <s:Header xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <To s:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2005/05/addressing/none">http://exampleHost/WebServices/WCFService/Service.svc</To>
    <Action s:mustUnderstand="1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2005/05/addressing/none">http://tempuri.org/IMyService/HelloWorld</Action>
    </s:Header>
    <soap:Body>
    <HelloSayFirstName xmlns="http://tempuri.org/" xmlns:ns2="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/" xmlns:ns3="http://schemas.microsoft.com/2003/10/Serialization/">
    <dataContractValue></dataContractValue>
    </HelloSayFirstName>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    It seems that the SOAPAction in the http header and the soap header is incorrect. Is there any reason why the requestContext would keep hold of the action that was previously called, and not use the new action? I'm stumped here - any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers.

    Does not only happen when using JAX-WS.
    the following servlet code is enough to reproduce the problem :
    protected void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException {
    response.setContentType("text/xml;charset=\"utf-8\"");
    It only occurs on 10.1.3.4.0 (works fine on 10.1.3.3.0 and 11.1.1.1.0 TP4)

    You need to apply the latest patchset for your version of the database on your version of the operating system:

  • Invalid Serial Number when using Customization Wizard to install Acrobat 8

    Hello. I'm trying to install Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional using the Customization Wizard to create a transform. The serial number is for the volume license product, and I put this number in the space provided in the Wizard. Whenever I remotely deploy the msi file and the user opens the program, I get the following error: "You have entered an invalid serial number. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and enter in a valid serial number when asked." The program then closes. This does not happen when I install from the CD.
    Each of the workstations is a Gateway E-4500S running Windows XP SP2. Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional is uninstalled prior to installation of Acrobat 8, and Acrobat 8 exists alongside Adobe Reader 8.1.1. No other Adobe products are installed apart from Flash Player.
    The following are the contents of the setup.ini file:
    [Startup]
    RequireOS=Windows 2000;Windows XP
    RequireMSI=3.0
    RequireIE=6.0.2600.0
    CmdLine=/sall /rs
    [Product]
    msi=AcroPro.msi
    Languages=1033;1031;1036
    1033=English (United States)
    1031=German (Germany)
    1036=French (France)
    CmdLine=TRANSFORMS="AcroPro.mst"
    [Windows 2000]
    PlatformID=2
    MajorVersion=5
    ServicePackMajor=4
    [Windows XP]
    PlatformID=2
    MajorVersion=5
    MinorVersion=1
    ServicePackMajor=2
    [MSI Updater]
    Path=WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe
    I've tried editing the setup.ini file to indicate the full path to the mst file, to no avail. Pretty much at the end of my rope right now. Any suggestions? I'll be happy to provide further information.

    Chris Benton - 4:40am Jan 29, 08 PST (#2 of 2)
    Correct. The CD installation goes without a hitch. I'm using Attachmate WinInstall to try to deploy the software remotely. It worked fine for Adobe Reader 8.1.1, but it's been a bear for Acrobat 8. I'd be okay with a straight CD installation if it didn't involve fifty machines.

  • Invalid number error when using case when

    I have table called NATIONAL_RARE_ECOSYSTEMS which has 1 column called TEST_COLUMN (data type: varchar2):
    TEST_COLUMN

    (null)
    (null)
    what I want is a query which will add a column called NRE_SCORE which will give each row instance a score of 0 if it null.
    If it is 0 then score should be 0.
    If the row contains any text then score should be 1
    I have written the query:
    SELECT
    (CASE WHEN test_column is null THEN 0
    WHEN test_column = 0 THEN 0
    WHEN test_column > 0 THEN 1
    END) AS NRE_SCORE
    FROM NATIONAL_RARE_ECOSYSTEMS;
    I get the error message:
    ORA-01722: invalid number
    01722. 00000 - "invalid number"
    I think this is because on the 2nd and 3rd line I'm trying to do arithmetic on a column which is varchar2 which I know I cant do.
    How do I write a query which says: if the row contains text then give score of 1?
    I'm using oracle 11g.

    I have written the query:
    SELECT

    >
    How do I write a query which says: if the row contains text then give score of 1?
    I'm using oracle 11g.Here's one way:
    SELECT       CASE
               WHEN  NVL (test_column, '0') = '0'
               THEN  0
               ELSE  1
           END          AS nre_score
    ,       ...          -- you must want other columns, too
    FROM       national_rare_ecosystems
    ;Since you don't really care about the numeric value, don't use NUMBERs anywhere; stick with VARCHAR2s, such as '0'.
    I hope this answers your question.
    If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only), and also post the results you want from that data.
    Point out where the query above is getting the wrong results, and explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from the sample data in those palces.

    Edited by: SSNair on Jun 17, 2011 5:43 AMHere's your problem:
    -bash-3.00$ sqlplus IRES_USER/U9$bvs#ir@DBBecaue of the dollar-sign, The shell is trying to expand the environment variable $bvs#ir@DB
    Of course you have no environment variable by that name so what gets passed to sqlplus is not "IRES_USER/U9$bvs#ir@DB", but rather "IRES_USER/U9"
    In your first test, you didn't pass the password on the command line, so the shell didn't get a chance to intercept it.
    You can have a similar issue if you have a '@' in your password
    oracle> sqlplus scott/P@ssword@orclTns will catch that first "@" as the delimiter to the tns string, and come up with something that cant' be resolved.

  • Invalid NameSpace Value when Using DB Link

    I am receiving the following error within apex when I try to access data across a database link:
    failed to parse SQL query:
    ORA-28267: Invalid NameSpace Value
    ORA-02063: preceding line from DB_LINK
    When I access the same data using a database tool like Toad, I do not get the error.
    We are using:
    Apex 4.0.1
    Clustered WebLogic 10.3.4
    APEX_LISTENER_VERSION     1.0.2.238.15.24
    Database information
    CORE 11.2.0.1.0 Production
    NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    TNS for IBM/AIX RISC System/6000: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    I have a different database link that works just fine, the only difference between the db links that I know of is that the one with the error has select/insert/update/delete and the one that works has select only.
    Has anybody ever seen this?
    Thanks,
    Michelle

    Carl,
    Ok. Here's the results. Using a PL/SQL region with the function throws the same error (string buffer too small).
    So I checked the length of company_name and the longest string value is 47.
    Then I checked the _XL function and got the same error.  This is even showing in SQL Workshop's SQL Commands.
    SELECT APEX_ITEM.SELECT_LIST_FROM_QUERY_XL(
    1,
    company_num,
    'SELECT company_num, company_name FROM pmd.company@CORP'
    FROM pmd.company@CORP
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
    Thank you,

  • FU4.1RC2 - "invalid application descriptor" when using AIR 2.5

    Folks,
    I discovered today when attempting to use AIR 2.5 with FlexUnit4.1 RC2 that you will get the following error when adl.exe is invoked:
    [flexunit] Setting up server process ...
    [flexunit] Starting server ...
    [flexunit] Opening server socket on port [1024].
    [flexunit] Waiting for client connection ...
    [flexunit] Found AIR version: 2.5
    [flexunit] Created application descriptor at [C:\EclipseWorkspace3.5\report.renderer_tests_2\build\flexUnitDescriptor.xml]
    [flexunit] Executing 'C:\Flex\AIRSdk2.5\bin\adl.exe' with arguments:
    [flexunit] 'C:\EclipseWorkspace3.5\report.renderer_tests_2\build\flexUnitDescriptor.xml'
    [flexunit] The ' characters around the executable and arguments are
    [flexunit] not part of the command.
    [flexunit] invalid application descriptor: versionNumber must have a non-empty value.
    From what I can tell, the flexUnitDescriptor.xml file that FlexUnit is producing has this:
          <version>1.0.0</version>
    I guess AIR 2.5 changes the element name to <versionNumber>. When I manually changed 'version' to 'versionNumber', I could get adl.exe to launch and run the tests manually from the command line.
    Something to be aware of - hopefully you all are aware of this apparent API change.
    Regards,
    Trevor

    Hi Trevor,
    This issue has actually been resolved in the RC3 build of FlexUnit.  At least I have applied code to resolve this isssue
    Can you please try utilizing the libraries provided in our RC3 build?
    http://flexunit.digitalprimates.net:8080/job/FlexUnit4-Flex3.5/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifac t/flexunit-4.1.0_RC3-30-3.5.0.12683.zip
    Let me know if you still have issues with this.  Does the fact that this is running now, mean that you made progress on your other post?
    Thanks,

  • Invalid state error when using concurrent sessions in Discoverer Viewer

    We are oracle 10g DB for Oracle BI Discoverer Viewer application.
    We have a problem when a user logs in with the same ID on two different sessions under one machine(1 mac address).
    The error message is as per below.
    ====================================
    "The Application encountered an invalid state.
    No state was found matching the state identifier provided. This can happen if your session timed out. Please start the operation again.
    Indez: 10, Size:0"
    ====================================
    The index and size varies at different times.
    We suspect that the problem's caused by a confusion between the StateIDs of the two sessions. This can be replicated by modifying the querying URL; by manually changing the value of the StataID parameter.
    It will be good if somebody can help us on this...
    Regards
    Albin Abraham

    Are you using the same browser for the two sessions? I have seen instances where the user opens, say, IE, connects to Disco, and runs a worksheet. They then open another IE window, start another session, and run a different worksheet. What I believe was happening (and I'm not sure because we told the users to stop doing this) was the second browser may have tried to "reuse" the java session started by the first browser. When you went back to the first browser, it no longer had a valid session because the second browser had taken it.
    To have to independent sessions, I'll start one in IE, and another in Firefox, or Netscape. This keeps the sessions from getting mixed up.
    Then again, I could be wrong...

  • Invalid Device Error when using Labview to comunicate with Jorway 73A

    I'm having a problem when trying to get Labview to communicate with the Jorway 73a CAMAC crate controller. Keep in mind while reading this that I'm still fairly new to both the CAMAC system and Labview. I've downloaded the drivers for the Jorway 73a off your site and run into a "Invalid device" error whenever I try to read or write from the CAMAC crate using the read or write VI's. Oddly, the initialize/clear/inhibit VI runs without error. When reading cmjwdll.c I can tell that this error occurs whenever "the device selected is not a JW 73A". Not sure why I'd be getting such an error, and only with the read/write VI's, not on the initialize/clear/inhibt one.
    Thank you for your time.

    Hi Caleb,
    You may want to contact [email protected] for this question. Looking at the driver (http://zone.ni.com/idnet97.nsf/9b2b33e1993d877786256436006ec498/398258c61da17663862568ab005fbcbc?OpenDocument) It states that these drivers use 32-bit dll's that only work on 95/NT and are provided by Jorway.
    Hope this helps out!

  • Org.xml.sax.SAXException: Invalid element    error when using code in view project

    I have a SOAP (RPC style) client bundled in a jar. It uses Axis1.4.
    I have created a ADFBC model project with programmatic view & entity objects that uses this soap client for CRUD operations.
    The Model project works fine when I run the Appmodule and a standalone java tester class.
    This model project is then deployed as a library and included in a different ADF web application.
    When running this application, I get the following exception for one method.
    Has anyone faced this issue? Any idea what's going on?
    Surprisingly, "dbAttributes" -the cause of the error is not even in the User class (or any other class in the entire application)!
    I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5. Issue occurs in integrated wls.

    I think this is a very common problem, and the sad thing is there are so many forums with no answers. I was getting this error because I was using client stubs generated by wscompile instead of wsdl2java. Once i used the stubs from wsdl2java, the error vanished****. I think its because the wscompile classes do not have property descriptors for each field in the response class. an example of such descriptors would be:
            typeDesc.setXmlType(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("https://ns.ns.btu", "LoginResponseData"));
            org.apache.axis.description.ElementDesc elemField = new org.apache.axis.description.ElementDesc();
            elemField.setFieldName("sessionID");
            elemField.setXmlName(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("https://ns.ns.btu", "SessionID"));
            elemField.setXmlType(new javax.xml.namespace.QName("http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema", "int"));
            elemField.setNillable(false);
            typeDesc.addFieldDesc(elemField);The wsdl2java classes do have these descriptors for each field.

  • Invalid value error when using custom lov-window

    We generate a form with Headstart(patch12.4)/Designer 6.0. In a multi-recordblock we insert a record, selected via a custom LOV form. When changing the focus to another field, immediately we get the message
    FRM-40212: Invalid value for field OMI_ONDERDEEL_ID.
    We cannot debug, because the error seems to happen before the WHEN_VALIDATE-trigger is entered. BUT:
    When we generate the form without using the custom-LOV, everything works fine! But that is not what the user wants, because then he can only search on ID,which means nothing to him. A second (also unique) column is really what he wants to select on.
    Who can help me out?? Thanks in advance,
    Paul Wiselius.

    I hope you get a reply, I have the same problem (see about three pages back)!
