Javascript: don't get onload event

I'm still having issues grabbing properties via javascript
using various
onload methods. I have a script that I'm using to toggle a
checkbox based on
whether another checkbox is checked or not:

However, I'm trying to get out of the habit of using the
onload event and
instead want to use this addLoadEvent function:

But this will work only if you don't use the <body
onload="stuff">. Your
addLoadEvent function should work, perhaps it's the arguments
it doesn't
like.

Get a event for a new received rtp stream in a player

Hi!
I'm trying to implement a RTP-player, that receives a AV-stream and play it. The special thing about this player should be, that even if the stream interrupts, the player wait's on the same IP and port for a new stream and open it in the SAME frame (not like jmstudio in new window).
I try to catch the "ReceiveStreamEvent", so i can restart the player, but i don't get eny events for this. I tried to do it with a "RTPManager", but i don't know how.
Does anybody has a example how to get the "ReceiveStreamEvent", so i know, the RTP-stream has been interrupted?

In onLoad JavaScript, I'm getting "Error: Permission denied to access property 'classes'" when I access Components.classes; how do I enable that permission?

I need to emulate several ActiveX functions in my client's web application. I have located several Mozilla web pages that describe how to do the things I need, and I have attempted to implement those instructions. However, I can't seem to get past the first line of code. In my web page, I am calling a JavaScript function using the onLoad attribute of the <body> tag. I am using the Navigator object to determine that the browser is Firefox. I then attempt to access the extension classes using the following code on lines 51 and 52 of the Download.js file:

The Web Console gives me these two messages:

I think Components is available only in extensions (or otherwise privileged code) and not in ordinary web pages.

Simulating Javascript onload event in OA Page

I want to invoke the controller of a page without displaying the Page itself!!!
I have 3 OA Pages. 1)Main Page 2)Subpage1 3)Subpage2
Initially the user will be in Oracle Configurator Module.
I need to go to Subpage1 or Subpage2 from Configurator.
The page to be navigated to is decided at runtime.
So i m planning to invoke mainPage from Configurator. and on load of Main Page,
its controller will receive page deciding parameters from Configurator.
User Flow
Configurator --(input = A)---> SubPage1.
Configurator --(input = B)---> SubPage2.
Technical Flow
Configurator --(input = A)---> Main Page ----(if A)--->SubPage1.
Configurator --(input = B)---> Main Page ----(if B)--->SubPage2.
Now My conern is I do NOT want to show Main Page to the user.The user should feel as if he is going to SubPage 1 directly from Configurator
In a JSP,I would use javascript function which will catch the onload event on the JSP and I will check the input parameter and perform FORM SUBMIT.
How can solve it in OAF?

You can receive values in processRequest at the Main Page and forward to subpages or (not recommended) use javascript:

I send invitees a calendar event but don't get a response?

I create a calendar event and invite people but don't get a response. My friends say when they get the email it says no response required, but I can't see anything where I can request this?

The only other thing I can think of is to pull the drive out and hook it to another machine with a USB enclosure. Something like this:

JSF with JavaScript ! Problem with OnLoad()

I have a .js (javascript) file which has one function. I want to call this function in my jsf-jsp page form.
The javascript run successfully without onload. But when i use onlod it is giving me error like "

this won't work.
If runScript() function is referring to any form
element we get an error stating that
"document..forms.formname.elements is null.
any ideas how to set focus when the form loads?Then put the script in the bottom of the JSF code, straight before the end body tag. At this place all JSF components are finished with generating.

Adobe Flash & Javascript don't work even though Enabled

Ever since what I think was either a Firefox upgrade (I don't know which one) or installation of Quicktime, my Adobe Flash Plugin is perpetually crashed and I cannot play any Flash content on any website. All that displays in place of the video is a gray screen with the sad-face Lego icon and the message: “The Adobe Flash Plugin has crashed. Please reload the page to try again.” (See attached image.) But it will not resolve when reloaded.
No Flash videos on any sites work. HTML5 videos work on YouTube when tested, but non-HTML5 videos won't work.
Also, my Javascript does not seem to be working since at least some displays requiring javascript don't work. Sometimes the display just doesn't work, and sometimes I get a message that javascript is disabled and must be enabled, but it is already enabled (set to “true” in about:config).
I have spent days scouring every help forum entry I can find on troubleshooting Flash Player and Javascript. Everything on my end seems to be in order and I cannot find or fix either problem. I think it is possible the issue could have its roots in the fact that Javascript seems to not be working which may be preventing Flash Player content from working...??
Also, Flash content does work in I.E. but not in Firefox (I do not have Chrome installed so did not test in Chrome). I have too many window tabs open in Firefox and can't switch to I.E. (nor do I like to use I.E.).
PLEASE HELP as this is crippling for very important work deadlines I have.
This is what else I know and have tried:
I have a Toshiba Satellite C75D-A Laptop;
Processor: AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics; x64; 2.00 Ghz;
RAM: 8 MB;
OS: 64-bit system; Windows 8.1 (but some auto-check utilities detect it as 8.0 because it was upgraded.);
Graphics Card: “Desktop Graphics” System – AMD Radeon HD 8400 (0x9830);
Installed Graphics Driver Version: AMD 13.352.1004.1007 (Driver Date: 4/22/2014)
My Device Manager graphics driver updater states: “driver software is up to date.”
From the AMD website: the graphics driver auto-detect utility recommended the AMD Catalyst Driver (amd-catalyst-omega-14.12-without-dotnet45-win8.1-64bit.exe) I tried installing this driver, but it won't install. After trying to install, I got a message stating: “We are unable to find a driver for your system.” But Device Manager states I have a current driver, and my graphics card & driver seem to be working fine, so I do not believe this is part of the issue.
I am using Latest Firefox version 35.0.1; and
Using Latest Flash Player: 32-bit NPAPI Plug-in Version: 16.0.0.296; designated: “always activate” (Downloaded new update several times, including fresh install after uninstall; system & web address icons indicate Flash is enabled).
I turned off hardware acceleration in FF Tools>Options>Advanced>General
I disabled WebGL as explained here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
I am using Ad-Block Plus which has never affected things in the past. I have not tried starting FF in Safe Mode because I believe I will lose all open tabs and not be able to recover them (I may have over 200 open). But disabling add-ons has no effect (I disabled all except for Sessions Manager in case of a crash). (My No-Script has been disabled for at least six months.)
I have Windows Media Player and Quicktime installed.
Quicktime is most recent upgrade (7.7.6) so should not be a problem according to:

Disabling Quicktime had no effect in the prior version of FF (ver. 35.0), but in latest FF ver. 35.0.1, Flash videos only display a plain (blank) gray screen instead of the sad-faced icon and crash message.
(I tried to uninstall Quicktime altogether, but was not able to due to Error codes 2502 & 2503. I tried troubleshooting that as well with no luck using methods successful for other programs, including here:

Disabling my FF theme and using the default brought back the sad-faced icon and crash message in the place of videos on some YouTube pages, but not other YouTube pages (where video was still blank gray screen). It also enabled a still Flash image (an ad) to display on a different website page that previously had a Flash Plugin crash message. I have been using this same theme for a couple of years without previous issue. While turning it off did generate an effect on some still imagery, it didn't fix the video problem.
I tried Disabling Protected Mode in Flash 11.3 as explained here:

It did not solve the issue.
I also deleted all storage & data in Flash Player as advised. This had no effect either.

Thank you, guigs2! Sorry for my delayed reply...I didn't realize I hadn't gotten back to you. Update is that I did try a whole slew of other troubleshooting steps including starting FF in safe mode, to no avail. However, I was FINALLY (after months) able to solve this problem just today by pure chance!
The problem was that hardware acceleration was enabled in the Flash settings. I had not been able to turn it off because I didn't have access to the Flash Player settings as long as the crash error message was visible, which was all the time! Today, by a sheer fluke, I saw a static picture in place of the crash message on a Flash video. I snagged the opportunity to call up the settings and turn off hardware acceleration, and it fixed the problem for my whole browser! This has been a frustrating issue because I did not have access to the settings utility as long as I had the crash message, which was always, so my Flash was crippled without the ability for me to fix it until pure luck gave me this window of opportunity.
Does anyone know another way to access the settings utility if this ever happens again in the future? I could not find a way. (Incidentally, I had tried disabling hardware acceleration via my graphics driver settings, but it didn't fix the problem.) We need Adobe to allow some other way to access the Flash Player settings utility when this problem arises since they aren't accessible when there is a static crash message.

When you add an event and you see the heading "Calendar", do you see a name to the right of it such as "Work"? If you tap on the heading "Calendar" does it show you a list of calendars?
I'm basing this on my experience using iCal on a Mac to sync with my iPad. I created a number of calendars on the Mac and assigned them different colors. Those appear on my iPad. I don't know how to create additional calendars on the iPad alone - I must create them in iCal or MobileMe then they show up on the iPad. Are you using a Mac or MobileMe?

Using javascript to detect the onclick event over a datatable row

At the moment I have just added a checkbox to be able to know which row the user wants to select but I'm not satisfied with this solution.

I am looking for answers on how to use javascript to detect the onclick event over a datatable row . I have a selectBooleanCheckBox in one of the columns in the every row in the table. On click of the checkbox in any row of the table, I want to get some values from the selected row and also verify that the rest of the checkboxes in all the other columns are unchecked. Onload event after all images are loaded in an updateContent area

I load a template into a page with a lot of img tags inside
it. Everything works fine.
Spry.Utils.updateContent (...HTML wit lots of img tags...)
But the loading takes a while so I would like to hide it
until all the images are loaded. Now I need an event which fires
after the loading bar in the browser is gone.
The onPostLoad observer fires much to early, cause the code
is long loaded bevore all the images
(...addObserver({onPostLoad:...)
Same with the window.onload event (...window.onload =
showContent();...) fires much to early.
The only thing which is working is placeing the function in
the onload event of the body tag.
Like:
<body onload="showContent();">
But there I can't use it. And there is now body.onload
handler as far as I know there is only the windows.onload handler
and I thought always this is the same event than onload in the body
tag.
Has anyone an idea? Is there a spry event I haven't found for
exact this problem?

U might want to look in to the SpryImageLoader.js that comes
with the 1.6.1 download. It loads your images, and allows u put
callbacks on them, and set priority of loading them.

uses it to (expect don forgot to upload the
SpryImageLoader.js thats why its not really working :P )
But that will give the basic idea of how to use it.

Using onLoad event in jsp?

i have created a link in my controller class dynamically and i want this link to load into my iView without clicking on Link control.
That is , when the user clicks on the page having my iView he should see the contents of the link. For eg . an HTML report.
How shall i accomplish this?
i used onLoad event in the <body> but it is not working.

PERNR is not read in GET PERNR event for some period..

We have one ABAP report where we read financial data of our employees. But there is some PERNRs that is not read in the GET PERNR event the program skips to END-OF-SELECTION. I have all authorization to access this kind of data through other txn like PC_PAYRESULT. And this data appears in another ABAP reports. We've noted that the PERNRs that not appears doesn't have the Hiring Actions. And the data is read for this year 2007 but not to 2006 when the Action occurred. Does anyone knows what may be causing this?

We use a custom report category with the fields:

The program checks if PNPPERNR is not initial.
When we executes it with PNPXABKR = 02, PNPPABRJ = 2006. Some PERNR does not are read. The programa skips to 'perform xyz'. We found out that these PERNRs don't have the Action Hiring. We don't know if its because of it.

Getting key events without a jcomponent...

Is it possible to get key events without adding a keylistener to a jpanel? I want a class of mine to manage input of it's own, but it has no reference to a jpanel. They don't necessarily have to be KeyEvents, but just some way to detect if a key has been pressed (like the arrow keys). How can I do this? Thanks.

What does your class subclass?It doesn't subclass anything. I am creating a custom menu system for my game using images I have made for the tileset. I would like it to handle some keyboard events of its own. (Like if the down arrow is pressed, it will move the focus down to the next component on its own). Right now I am currently passing the key events from my fullscreen jpanel to the menu class and it is handling them that way. Thanks.
