Javascript error in JSP when deployed to Weblogic

Hi, I am getting the below Javascript error whenever I try to sort within an ADF table in my page once deployed in the Weblogic Server. Running it in local/integrated server is not causing any errors:
Message: 'AdfIEAgent.superclass.createXMLHttpRequest' is null or not an object
URI: http://{HOST_NAME}/{Context_Root}/afr/partition/ie/default/opt/boot-11.1.2.2.0-2121.js
A little background:
This application was a migrated Jdeveloper 10.1.3 application. I converted the converted trinidad table to adf rich tables.
Thanks.

Can you reproduce this error in Firefox/Chrome?
How you converted trinidad tables(did you manually changed source or you recreated table(by drag and drop from data control)) ?
Probably the fastest way to identify this problem is to create simple test case in JDev 11.1.2.2 and deploy to standalane WLS.
If you can reproduce this error then this is some bug in ADF, but if this works as expected then you can compare content in ear files(included jar files, content of web.xml file, etc..) to find difference.

  • Pre-compiled JSPs when deploying an EAR under WebLogic 6.1 SP4

    Hello,
We have sucessfully pre-compiled JSP pages when working with and
deploying WAR files (WebLogic 6.1 SP4, Windows).
However, we can't seem to make it work when deploying EAR files.
Examing the "secret" unpacked directories after deployment doesn't
    seem to help.
If we extract the WAR from the EAR and deploy it, everything is perfect.
Any ideas? Anyone able to make this work? If so, could you share the
    output of
    jar -tf yourCoolEarFileThatWorks.ear
as well as the same for the embedded WAR file?
    Thank you,
    Mike Leo

    Some followup information.
We've changed the place where it looks for JSP classes using the
    "workingDir" parameter in weblogic.xml.
And we also set "pageCheckSeconds" (also in weblogic.xml) to "-1".
Now, everything in the base directory comes up without being recompiled.
However, nothing in subfolders of the base directory is "picked up". Those
pages are still being compiled when they are accessed.
    Any ideas welcome.

  • Javascript Error in EP7 when accessing SRM - Shop iView - SRM5.0

    Hi SDN
We are expriencing a problem with our "Shop" iView rendered via EP7.  On a PC with the Sun JVM 1.4.2.10, when the Shop iView/Page loads, our users are havong a javascript error in their IE instance.  I've started the JVM console and got this description of the error.

Have you ever had that on your side?  What can be done to fix this? We are on SRM 5.0 SP11.

  • When deploying to Weblogic Server, JDeveloper is unable to list servers

I have created a BPEL project using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.
Have created an Integration Server in the JDeveloper Application Server tab. While deploying the project using this Integration Server profile, JDeveloper is unable to list out servers. As a result, the NEXT button is grayed-out and the deployment prematurely halts and cannot continue any further.
When deploying to Integrated Weblogic Server, JDeveloper is unable to list servers.
I have taken the following actions:
In JDeveloper, the proxy setting was initially turned off. So, I have turned it on and given it a try too.
I have also gone through the proxy settings in my JDeveloper, proxy connection test was successful. I still dont see servers during development.
I have also followed all steps on JDeveloper Help Tutorial on "41 Deploying SOA Composite Applications" and no success.
Issue can be reproduced as below:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
    1. Create a SOA BPEL Composite
    2. Try Deploying the Composite
    3. In the JDeveloper Deploy Wizard, notice the SOA server is not listed.
    Please advice.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I am having the same issue, were you able to resolve this, would you be so kind to let me know what was the fix?
I have JDEV 11.1.1.6, both my admin servers and managed servers are up and running, I can create Application Server connection with no problem, but I don't see any servers under SOA servers list when trying to deploy a composite.

  • Error in Logging using log4j When deployed in weblogic server

I have deployed an SOAP based web service application as an war file and used log4j propertiers to do application logging .When i tested the application through a JAVA client the log4j log file has all the application log information but when i deployed it in the weblogic server 10.3.3 and tested it through SOAP UI it gives me just "Run time error exception" in the log4j log file(which is returned in the SOAP response) as against the application logs which i need. I have also added <wls:package-name>org.apache.log4j.*</wls:package-name> in the weblogic.xml and also changwed the logging to the log4j logging in the server ( which was perviously JDK logging) .But still it is not returning the complete application error stack trace in the log4j log file(and also in the weblogic command console) I need to get the application error stack trace in the log4j log file ( and also in the console) so it would be easy to debug the code.
Please help me out in doing the same.
    thanks in advance

  • ADF Application error when deploy on WebLogic Cluster

    Hello,

    I am getting the following java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/adf/share/logging/ADFLogger

    Any idea?

Have you installed the Oracle JRF template to the managed servers?
The error indicates that you didn't install the adf runtime (JRF template) for your jdev version onto the managed servers.

  • PL/SQL  Web Service fails when deployed to WebLogic server

I have a web service generated via JDeveloper from a PL/SQL package. It runs fine both when tested in JDeveloper and when the WAR file is manually deployed to the Integrated WebLogic Server. However, when the WAR file is deployed to our actual WebLogic server, it fails. Other existing web services that were not generated with the JDeveloper wizard work correctly. I am having trouble finding any references to this type of issue to solve it. Are there any ideas what might be causing the WSDL to fail?

keytool -genkeypair -keyalg RSA -dname "cn=spaces,dc=example,dc=com" -alias orakey -keypass weblogic1 -keystore default-keystore.jks -storepass welcome1 -validity 1064

  • Error 401--Unauthorized when deployed on WL Managed server (10.3.3)

    Hi,
I created & started a WL-Managed server on my window desktop machine. I deployed to this Managed server, an application which is running without problem on Admin Server. (The managed server is created in the same Domain as that of Admin Server)
However, when I log on to the application on Managed server & enter the UID & PW I get the Error 401--Unauthorized page. The same security works perfectly well for Admin Server.
Any clues what could be going wrong.

  • Error -196736204 occurs when deploying shared variables?????

When I try to deploy shared variables contained in a library named 'DAQ_sv.lvlib' I get the following message for each shared variable in the library.
Deploying DAQ_sv.lvlib:exit \\192.168.1.100\DAQ_sv\exit deployment failed (error: -1967362041, IAK_SHARED:  (Hex 0x8ABC7007) Out of range.).
this paticular message was generated by the shared variable 'exit'.
Does anyone know what caused this?

    Hello Steve,
You probably have a shared variable in this library that has the "Bind to Source" option checked in its properties but the path for that binding is either incorrect or empty. Make sure all the variables in this library have valid bindings. Also try deploying a new library to new variables make sure that there is nothing else wrong.

  • Changes on application not visible when deployed to weblogic apps server

    Hi all,
I have an ADF-faces application that is running on a weblogic server.
Application is working fine, but I added some functionality on some pages.
I tested it with Jdeveloper and the build in weblogic server, that is working fine.
Now I deployed my application (Trough the menu application->deploy) to the weblogic server.
When I open the application now I don't see the changes I made!!
In the menu I did run Build->Make and Build->Rebuild but that did not help.
    What is causing this behavior?
    Thanks is advance.

    Hi Timo,
Thanks for your quick reaction. deleting the application first solved my issue.
I never had this issue before, but good to know how to fix it :)
