Changes on application not visible when deployed to weblogic apps server

Hi all,
I have an ADF-faces application that is running on a weblogic server.
Application is working fine, but I added some functionality on some pages.
I tested it with Jdeveloper and the build in weblogic server, that is working fine.
Now I deployed my application (Trough the menu application->deploy) to the weblogic server.
When I open the application now I don't see the changes I made!!
In the menu I did run Build->Make and Build->Rebuild but that did not help.
What is causing this behavior?

App Insights for web application not working when deployed to Dev server

App Insights is not sending telemetry data for ASP.NET MVC web *requests* (page views from the JS instrumentation are fine) when the app is deployed to the Dev or Test IIS servers. On local IIS express it works perfectly fine. I have

- the AI.config file is both in the root of the site, and the /bin folder (which was confusing the other day). Both are correct.

server. I've tried both ways of registering the initializers; via code in the Application_Start() event and also in the ApplicationInsights.config file.
I don't know how to troubleshoot any further, to figure out if AppInsights is actually *trying* to send telemetry out and failing, or if its not actually even trying.

Flex application not working when deployed run from Server

Hi,
I have Flex application which takes a parameter from user, makes a web-service call and returns the message.
This application is running perfectly when I launch from IDE.
But when I copy the files from bin-release to server and launch it, it gives me no result.
In the crossdomain file on the server which hosts web-service, I have added the my host IP in the
allow-access-from domain tag.
In the initialization method of the application I load crossdomain using following code:
    Security.allowDomain("remoteservername");
    Security.loadPolicyFile("http://remoteservername/crossdomain.xml");
    var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://remoteservername/crossdomain.xml");
    var loader:URLLoader = new URLLoader();
    loader.load(request);
Is there a way I can debug application when running from server?
Please give me some pointer to solve this problem.

The URL for the app is http://<some_IP>/flex_app
<some_IP> is added in crossdomain.
Also we have outbound IP's and of these are also added in the crossdomain file.

Certificate not works when deploy the store app package by powershell

I request a web service with a pfx certificate in windows store app, it works well, but after I create a package by VS2013, and
deploy the app with powershell, access web service failed, seems the certificate not works. Any hints, suggestion ? My code as below:

APPS Adapter / Business Events not visible when BPEL uses non-apps user

We have BPEL connection using custom oracle user, xx_b2b and when we use APPS adapter in BPEL, I can not see and use any business event.
If anybody across same requirement, please share your experience.

do you deploy the Spring classes with the application ? I suggest to try the OracleAs forum as well to ensure this has to be in a specific path to be loaded. A list of forums is available from here

Can i develop applications on JSC2update1 and deploy on other app server

I am working on JSF web application. I have developed one application in sun java studio creator and i dont want to run my applications in that one, because it is always showing error like Deployment error: server timed out after 240 secs. so is there any possiblity to download the application server individually and deploy onto that. if it is possible then please send me the alternate options with full description.
I have downloaded Tomcat and Appserver 8(sun microsystems) individually. Which one is better to use it .Please suggest me a good and better one.

Field not visible when uploading the file in application ser

Hi,
I have added a new field at the end of a structure and When i upload the data in the application server it is not visible there. The new field length is 30chars(say field 'A') and the one just before this one is 250 chars(say field 'B'). When i reduce the length of field 'B' to 30 chars or 40 chars the value which i populated in field 'A' is visble in the output file.
Since the complete file was not visible in AL11 transaction, i used the CG3Y tcode as well to download the data to presentation server so that i can view the complete file. Even after downlaoding in presentation server the new field value is not visible.
Can anyone please suggest why is the value in field 'A' not visible when the length of field 'B' is 250 chars? Also, how can i display the value of the new field in the application server.I cannot change the layout of the structure as per the requirement. Any help will be very useful.

-ok, lets go step by step. how did you upload the file?
-after uploading the file check the file in OS level(goto SM69, execute CAT, in additional parameter (not in parameter) give the full path (case sensitive), execute. ). here you can see the actual content of the file... check you data is present or not
-which structure are you using to download and upload? a temp work area.. then please provide the WA details, so that i can try on my system.
lets see what happens next
one more thing: regarding AL11, it can read upto length 510 characters. check program RSWATCH0 form SHOW_FILE. here the read dataset into butffer is 510 characters.

Applications not reporting when launched via Midtier

The specified log file is not updated when deploying application objects
to Windows 2000 machines with the ZFDsp2 agent via our Zen midtier. The
same application object will update the log when run on a machine with
the Novell client. The log is written to a Novell share with public
permissions. The midtier service is running on a Windows 2003 server.
Any ideas on what I might be missing?

the same result. The log updates when the object snapshot is run on a
workstation with the Novell client, but will not update when run on a
machine that just has the ZFD agent.
Surely there is a way to log snapshots without the Novell client, right?

RT does not run when deployed to 9642 sbRIO LV 2011

I have code deployed to a Ni sbRIO9642 where the RT code does not run when deployed to the when using LabVIEW 2011. It appears the NI-RT.ini file on the target is not being properly configured. I manually configured the ini file using FTP and the RT still will not run. I built a small test application and the RT on that did not run either, although i had hard validatiuon that the FPGA code was indeed running. Thanks - Keith

I don't know if this specific problem was resolved, but there was a known issue in LabVIEW Real-Time 2011 (sp1) that exhibited this behavior.

Although this has been fixed in 2012, and shouldn't be an issue for you developing in LabVIEW 2012. Have you tried implementing a heartbeat VI? to verify if your RT app is actually running and not communicating? (great example here)
Do you have the system state pushier installed on your cRIO? does it point to a memory leak or 100% CPU utilization? (steps to install it found here, if you're not familiar)
Are you using the cRIO in Scan Interface mode? or in the FPGA interface?

Hi Ram,
This error comes generally when your webdynpro project does not have an application. To create an application in your webdynpro project follow the underlying steps:
<Project>->WebDynpro->Applications ---> right click and create New Application.
Follow the steps to create the application.
Now if you create archive and deploy, it will not give you the error again.

Images do not show when deployed on remote server

We are using jdeveloper 11.1.2.1, adf and integrated weblogic and remote server has weblogic where we deploy the application for testing.
We have a login.html page. when deployed and running the image in login.html does not show in FF or IE 8. It shows on IE9. when deployed on the remote server.
When deployed on the integrated server only fire fox shows the image. None of the other web browsers show the image in login,html

The problem does not seem to be with TopLink or JPA, so you may want to post this question to a different forum, such as the JDeveloper/ADF forum at:

If the image itself is being sent but not loaded, you might check that it is a display issue with the browser being used.

JTree not visible when compiled

I have a problem that my JTree is not visible when i export my project to jar file.
along with a button also. I have no idea why this may be happening so maybe some of you guys have heard of this before ?
the JTree is visible when running in Eclipse etc
any ideas?

JTrees shouldn't be visible when you compile, they should be visible when you run the application :)

Import not found when deploying to Standalone OC4J

Hi,
I'm developing a small application, consisting of a few classes and a few jsp pages. I'm using JDeveloper 9.0.3.1 with the sun j2sdk 1.4.2 for windows.
I test my application with the embedded OC4J in Jdeveloper, and it runs fine. But when I deploy it to the standalone OC4J, I get this error:

This error does not happen when using the embedded OC4J server, only when deploying to the standalone. Since leaving JDeveloper up all times to use de app is not an option :) I really would appreciate any help towards solving this matter. I suspect it has to do with deployment options and whatnot, but I can't find anything wrong. Of course, I'm fairly new to this (jsp/OC4J), so it can be an obvious mistake right under my nose.

Fixed. The problem was my Standalone OC4J was not properly installed, AND I was doin the deplyment wrong. Now it works by creating a war file, deploying to the war file and THEN deploying to the OC4J Standalone connection.
So, if you start seeing "import not found" when deploying to standalone and it works on the embedded, check you war files to see if they REALLY are packing the classes they are supposed to carry.
