Javax.help.HelpSetException: Could not parse

Hi,
I am working on JavaHelp2.0. I want to run my JavaHelp Application using the IntelliJ Idea. I created the sample files for the Application and included the javaHelp jars into the classpath. I am not getting any kind of compile time errors.
But, when I was trying to run my javaHelp application, i am getting the following error log:
javax.help.HelpSetException: Could not parse

I appreciate, if anyone could provide me comments on how to overcome this kind of runtime error.
Thanks & Regards,
Sunil.

Hello,
I understood the problem. The problem is bcoz the findHelpSet() method is returning a null value. This is bcoz it is not able to find the
HelpSet file.
Now, i would like to reframe my problem.
Why is the findHelpSet() method returning null value even when the
directory which contains the file has been added to the CLASSPATH?
Here is my code to invoke the JavaHelp from the application:
ClassLoader cl = MDIApplication.class.getClassLoader();
javax.help.HelpSet hs;
javax.help.HelpBroker hb;
javax.help.CSH csh;
try{
System.out.println("Helpset name : " + javax.help.HelpSet.findHelpSet(cl,helpHS));
java.net.URL hsURL = javax.help.HelpSet.findHelpSet(cl,helpHS);
hs = new javax.help.HelpSet(null, hsURL);
catch(Exception ee)
System.out.println("Helpset " + ee.getMessage());
System.out.println("Helpset " + helpHS + " not found. ");
return;
hb = hs.createHelpBroker();
new javax.help.CSH.DisplayHelpFromSource(hb);

  • Could not parse html cannot be top level tag

    hi
    i have installed the siteminder webagent in sunone server, i am trying to call my first page (index.jsp) it contains the following jsp code
    <jsp:useBean id="helpBroker" class="javax.help.ServletHelpBroker" scope="session" />
    <%@ taglib uri="/WEB-INF/jhlib.tld" prefix="jh" %>
    <jh:validate helpBroker="<%= helpBroker %>" helpSetName="<%= strContext %>" />
    (here strContext is the delphi.hs file)
    then it's giving the "Could not parse html cannot be top level tag"
    error in servers log if i comment <jh:validate helpBroker="<%= helpBroker %>" helpSetName="<%= strContext %>" /> line then everything working fine
    can anybody suggest what is the error ?

    Could be your hs file inside your firewall configuration. Check whether you can able to assess hs with different session of your browser.

  • Windows 8.1 having same issue: Windows could not parse or process unattend answer file (C:\Windows\Panther\unattend.xml) for pass [specialize]. A component or setting specified in the answer file does not exist.

    I know there are similar other issues with IE 10 and Windows 7.  This is WINDOWS 8.1, and the IE Welcome message is totally absent from the default unattend.xml in the c:\windows\panther directory.  In fact, I did a sysprep without using any injected
    unattend.xml - this is the Microsoft Default!
    So I suspect this will start appearing all over again soon.  Anyone figure out what was causing it?
    Here is the new Specialize section from the xml:

    I'm thinking of dumping the entire IE section and see what happens.

    I too received this error as I tried to run my first Windows 8.1 deployment. Per another post I commented out this line
    <IEWelcomeMsg>false</IEWelcomeMsg>
    from the IE section of the unattend.xml. I was then able to run my deployment. I do not see this line in your posting though.
    I referenced this link even though it was for Windows 7.

    Hope this helps someone.

    To clarify, I edited the unattend.xml file from from Deployment Share, not C:\Windows\Panther.

    The receiver Communication Chennel is a  SOAP Adapter. This is adapter used for splitting messages on the Integration Server. The error has appeared after updating with SP18 on the SP19 for SAP PI 7.0
    Can somebody please explain how to get rid of this error? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    My messages is very small. It's 19302 byte. This problem has appeared after installation SP19.
    I used note 870864 and [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/12/5dd23aaad7b3408dde3c1577fda5b3/frameset.htm] for the stoping and starting Integration Server.
    Also problem has appeared  with Receiver SOAP Adapter. Messages  stoped in the Communication Chennal with "SOAP: call failed: java.lang.NullPointerException" errors.
    What could occur?

  • Javax ejb CreateException: Could not create stateless EJB

    Hi,
    I have a JavaEE (EJB3.0) project deployed on glassfish2.1 as -.ear (exported from eclipse3.4 to the autodeploy-folder) with -.ejb.jar, -.webui.war, general-lib-base.jar (some other...)
    The session bean is invoked by a jsf-managed bean. Have a pure annotation +@ejb+ in managed bean (identifiing the ejb-interface (+@Remote+) ...the ejb is annotated with +@stateless+
    get the following error message:
    *...nested exception is: javax.ejb.CreateException: Could not create stateless EJB*
    as beginner in the JavaEE-field I'm looking for some help concerning the possible causes.
    thank's for any comment...
    (also posted in the Enterprise JavaBeans-forum possibly better there)

    problem fixed: in the deployment-descriptor ejb-jar.xml a spezification of the session-bean hung around ...very annoying!

    Google turns up nothing for this Exception message.
    Has anyone else seen this?

    Could be a Gmail bug.
    What version of JavaMail are you using?
    Can you add "session.setDebug(true);" and post the protocol trace showing
    what command is causing the exception?
    Also, be sure to read the JavaMail FAQ entries about Gmail.
    Finally, you probably want to use Session.getInstance instead of Session.getDefaultInstance,
    although it has nothing to do with this problem.

    There should be a 'caused by' entry in your stack.
    If your ejbCreate() method is connecting to the DB and this error only occurs when the DB is down - what exactly is your question?

  • Error message: Could not parse mask shape on clipboard

    can anyone tell me why when I open a new composition, i get an error message that says, "After Effects error: could not parse mask shape on clipboard" then i click ok...brings me to a new composition, then i try to import an image and it gives me the same message only it doesnt import the image? Im brand new at this and trying to teach myself, any help woould be much appreciated

    This is the second time that you've posted the same question in less than half an hour. Don't double-post. Be patient. You can't expect an instantaneous response on a user-to-user forum.
    You get this message under various circumstances, both when you create a new composition and when you try to import a file?
    What operating system?
    What version of After Effects? If After Effects CS5, have you installed the After Effects CS5 (10.0.1) update?
    Has this happened always, or did it just start recently? If it just started recently, what changed right before the problem arose?
