Jdbc tracking does not work in JDeveloper 10.1.2

My project consists of a single jsp file, and two libraries: JSP Runtime, and DebugJDBC. The latter simply includes ojdbc14_g.zip
The JSP FIle is

Should I log a bug about this?

I just verified that the problem does not exist in JDeveloper 10.1.3.0.4.

I am trying to render using the new version of Crystal report java component - CRJ a report contains Data base Fileds of type Command Table (Row Set) which seems to be not working.
when i use the previes version of crystal SDK it works fine.
after deugging the Sample CrystalHelper.java file which contains the method .changeDatasource()
i found that the DataBaseController.setLocation() method changes the CommandTable class to Table when using it on CommandTable instance and as result all the fields defined into that CommandTable were disappear.

Update of MySQL and SQL Server JDBC Driver does not work in 1.2.1

Hi,
always after the update process is started i got the MySQL and SQL Server JDBC driver
update notification.
But all the time after i install the update i got the notification again but no errormessage
that the update was maybe not successful ???

then my subject was false
i always try to update the extensions and now i can see that they are updated on the filesystem but the IDE does not recognize them as updated
....\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\extensions\oracle.sqldeveloper.thirdparty.drivers.mysql
is available and new after the update process
and under
...\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\tmp\update\oracle.sqldeveloper.thirdparty.drivers.mysql.5239.zip
the downloaded zip file is also available.
In the update window the message is that the extension with version 5206 is available
Maybe that is the problem cause the downloaded files are version 11.1.1.5239
if you look at the bundle.xml file inside the META-INF directory

Trim field (automation) on track does not work in 10.0.7

When I try to change the volume (e.g.) of the automation of any track on the track window by moving the mouse pointer over the TRIM field and dragging up or down, nothing happens, or the track is moved, or (in large projects) Logic Pro freezes or reacts very slowly. But the volume remains unchanged!
Has anyone else this behavior?

I don't think those files are involved, in fact, I would worry that removing those may well break OS X. Given the fact that it works under a new user, means that whatever is causing it is part of your User Library, and NOT the main library, where you appear to be messing around.
You better first try to remove Logics' preference files from your (old) User library. The User Library is hidden, but you can get there by alt-clicking the Finders' Go menu and choosing Library (the one with a keycombo). Delete these three:

Go to declaration does not work with JDeveloper 10.1.3.3

I have just installed JDeveloper 10.3.3.3 and I'm trying to use the option go to declaration. I created an interface and a class implementation for this interface. When I highlight a method and right click to 'Go to Declaration' I get 'Browsing of method or constructor declarations is not allowed'.
Can anybody help me?

this is the same in 10.1.3.1 as well. This means that you cannot browse on a method in a class but only its usage. If you have a method call and browse it then this brings you to the method definition. However, you cannot select the method definition and browse

I am so mad with the limitation of JDBC 3.0. It's version 3, and years of development, what the h*ll.
To retrieve the auto generated keys, you have to execute an sql statement. So, if the data needs to be escaped properly, I would use PreparedStatement. Unfortunately, PreparedStatement also only allow you to return generated keys if executeUpdate on sql statement:
pstmt.executeUpdate(sqlString, ,PreparedStatement.RETURN_GENERATED_KEYS);
So, that means preparedStatement is no different than statement in this case. So, it's almost unusable.
Next, there is no support for retriving autogenerated keys if you do thing like using recordset.insertRow().

Title in combination with videoclip does not work.

I did pre-order the dutch version Premiere Elements 9. (Del. mid okt.) Until that time I installed the english trialversion PE 9.
I tried to place a title at the same place as my videoclip.(videotracks 1 and 2). This results in a black screen. Changing tracks does not work.
When I place a title over a still image(photo-jpeg) then I see both title and image at the same time. Is this a problem with the trialversion?
or can't this be done in Elements. I know that in Premiere Pro this was possible.

I'm sorry, but I don't know enough about what you've done to tell you what you've done wrong.
But first, make sure you are in Timeline, not Sceneline mode.
Your video should be on the Video 1 track.
Position the CTI playhead on this clip and click on the "T" in the lower right of the Monitor panel to open the Titles workspace. Create your title.
The title will appear on the Video 2 track, at the position of the CTI, over your background video. You can also move it around and change its placement on the timeline if you'd like.

I recommend you to run Apple Hardware Test > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1509 It's possible that something is damaged, and Apple Hardware Test will help you finding it. Make sure you tick the option to run an extended test, and connect your Mac to the charger.
If your Mac came with DVDs, you have to insert the Mac OS X DVD to run Apple Hardware Test. As you haven't got the SuperDrive, you will have to buy an external optical drive

Thanks restoring and restarting didn't fix my problem - i have started it fresh and still it doesn't work. Basically I press ONCE on the remote, after the machine has not had any commands for 10 minutes, and the cursor skips from one end of the menu to the other - so I can't choose network or update software etc - I sometimes manage to stop it randomly in the middle of the menu if I press on a command in the middle of the cursor skipping all the menu steps...not sure what the problem is but I have basically not used my brand new apple tv since I bought it for that reason! I should call Apple support I suppose! grrrr hate wasting time with stuff like this!

Ive repaired 1000s of laptops over the years (translate: diagnose and replace parts).
Its not that old, Ive owned 100s of laptops (most were free) ....some I still have are nearly 13 years old and still perfect, ....some extremely expensive ones died in under a year.
other than becoming obsolete at some point, there isnt really any "will spoil on" data like Milk for solid state computer parts, ....alas.
You can have a $5000 laptop die in 4 months, and a junker one keep kicking after 10 years.... Ive seen that firsthand countless times.
Common logic dictates that "very expensive = long life" in computers,..... but all the repair people will tell you just the opposite.
I know you have a gripe, I get that all too well honestly .

Hyperlink with tracking applied does not work in PDF

We use lots of web addresses in our advertising and generally the web addresses automatically convert to hyperlinks when we distill the files and make PDFs. Recently we've had two instances where someone applied tracking or justification to the line of text containing the url to make it spread across the page. When we make our PDF the url is not clickable. Is there anyway around this? We tried actually creating a hyperlink manually in InDesign by using the Hyperlinks panel and entering the address, but that didn't work either.

We'll look into that. We already do two separate PDFs for print and web, but
we are distilling both right now. Wouldn't be too much of a problem to
change to exporting the web version I don't think.
I did a test, just curious, is there a way to keep it from putting a black
box around the link on the PDF?

Distilled PDF uses Postscript which does not support hyperlinks and
interactivity. To make your hyperlinks in ID you'll need to export and check
the Include Hyperlinks and Include Interactiviity boxes.
Your printer doesn't need hyperlinks because they don't work on a printed
page. The requirements for print and interactive PDF are quite different, and
you may find you need to make two versions.

Queue Track(s) Does Not Work

User Type: Free
OS: Windows 7
The play queue does not function properly after closing Spotify for the first time time. I have to keep re-installing Spotify to use the play queue, but after that, the play button appears grayed out while the play queue shows songs are still in the list. Please see the image below for an example.
An example of what happens.
I install Spotify Free for Windows 7 64-bit. Queue songs, then click play. Close software when I finish for the day.
Next day, re-open software. Queue song(s) will put the track(s) into my queue, but bottom section doesn't display song information, remains gray and non-interactive.
Only solution that works so far is re-installing Spotify every time.
I am playing songs on the internet, not local.
Restarting computer does not work.
I do have Spotify installed on an Android device, but I am not using Android and Windows 7 Spotify concurrently.

"Track Shipment" is iOS4 does not work for Canada Post tracking numbers

Not 100% sure this is the best forum to post this but couldn't find an iOS specific forum.
When an email arrives with a shipment tracking number embedded in it, iOS4 is smart enough to recognize it and turn it into a link. You click the link, select "Track Shipment" and in theory you get sent off to the appropriate shipment tracking website.
Problem is that this does not work for Canada Post tracking numbers, I get sent to the USPS tracking site instead of the Canada Post one. I assume that the number format is similar but there must be a way to distinguish between CPC tracking numbers and USPS tracking numbers (by range ?).

This has since become working in 4.0 and higher.
I noticed I now get a notes folder for each of my email accounts (ie. in my case; MobileMe gets one, Gmail gets another, and Virgin Media a yet another). And all three since accordingly correctly between Notes mailbox on iPhone 4 and it's counterpart Notes mailbox in the mac mail app under Reminders section.
Additionally, just like other main mailboxes (inbox, drafts, sent, trash, junk), they also have a "unified" box at the top in both mac and iphone, in order to view notes in all email accounts at the same time.
Hooray Apple, shame it took so long, but at least it's here now
