JDBC - Why an exception of wrong user in not thrown?

Hi
I am trying to connect to DB2 that is located on as/400. When I enter incorrect username or incorrect password a little window is poped up asking me to change the passwod and the username and the program doesn't continue until I insert correct user name and password. How can I cancel this window? (I want to underscore that I didn't designed this window, I have no idea where did it come from)
The driver that I use is: com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver.

I was working on this same issue some 3 years back on AS400. I vaguely remember the solution to this. But there is definitely one. In the driver method, (just see the docs) , you can supress the popping of the window. There is a boolean parameter to be passed.set it to be false.
I will rake thru my old docs and see if I can find the exact phrase. But then, it is a lead for you.

Configuration: JES Q405. Solaris 10 x86.
My customer initially installed JES (Portal + AM + DS) on the same box.
Now, they have a change in their requirement. They want DS to run dedicatedly in another box.
I have successfully installed a fresh instance of DS in the new box with the same domain name (thus maintaining the same dn). I have copied over 99user.ldif and exported all the data from the original DS in the old box.
Everything is running fine. DS in the new box is able to function properly.
On the Portal and AM side, I have changed the following file:
1. AMConfig.properties
2. serverconfig.xml
3. PSConfig.properties
I have also changed the Primary LDAP entry in iPlanetAMAuthLDAPService, iPlanetAMAuthMembershipService, and iPlanetAMPolicyConfigService.
However, when I started AM (which is running on Sun Web Server), I got the following error message:

We are trying to upgradfe one of our ECC system to EHP4. We created a system in the solution manager. However, it had some problems and we tried to delete it. During deletion, we are receiving an ABAP dump as "CALL_FUNCTION_REMOTE_ERROR". Detailed dump mentioned the error as :-

Thanks for the update. I checked and found 3 communication users to have expired. I increased their expiry date to 31.12.9999.
However, now when i tried to perform the deletion action, I am receiving a different dump as

Model - level exceptions not thrown (EJB, 11.1.1.3)

We noticed that with the latest jdev version (11.1.1.3) exceptions from model layer are not thrown or logged anywhere. Steps to reproduce (HR schema):
- create a new Application (J2EE template, add ADF Faces and Page Flow to view project)
- create Entities from tables (Department and Employee)
- create a session bean
- add this method
    public void test() {
        Employee emp = null;
        emp.getDepartment();
        System.out.println("test");
    }- expose it through local interface
- create a data control from the session bean
- create a new jspx page, and drag&drop the test() method as a button
- run the project and click the button.
No exceptions in the console, the only thing I was able to find is this Info in DefaultServer.log

We have identified the problem, but right now the fix is planned for a later release.
If this is an urgent/important problem for you, I would suggest that you open a service request with Oracle support and see if you can get a patch for this, or provide a higher priority for this issue.

IDocumentQuery.Execute() method throws user does not have edit permissions exception

I'm trying to query a document folder for all of its containing documents. Its a basic query like this:

When I'm logged into the portal as an administrator, everything works fine. However if I'm logged in as a "regular" user, I get this exception when calling the Execute() method:

I'm sending the Login Token to the portlet. Now I've tried giving the user Edit rights on the document folder as well as Edit the Knowledge Directory rights in the Activity Manager, but neither gets rid of the exception. I'm not sure what other "Edit" permissions to check. I don't even see why the user would need "Edit" permission to anything in the first place since the Execute() method simply returns an IObjectQuery that doesn't have any ability to make changes to any objects. I know that I could use the SearchFactory interface, but I wanted the results to be real time. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The problem here is that the query is created with default settings to show unapproved documents -- only users with edit access can see unapproved documents. Add the bold line to your code and it will work.

After upgraded 9.2 DB, all users are not able to login (Except Guest).

After completed the DB upgrade from 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0, all users are not able to login the oraclemypage.home. This is except the Guest account.For example, I use the sysadmin account to login the oraclemypage.home. It shows "Your login is invalid. Please login again."
Moreover, I do the following query.
SQL> select fnd_web_sec.validate_login('SYSADMIN','SYSADMIN') from

If I guery the Guest account, the result is "Y".

Since the log cumulate a giga byte, I clean up the log and test again. It seems no error message.Whats your platform?

It is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.

Ssrs report web service to save report as pdf throws error Soap exception unhandeled by user code

I am creating a C# web application to save an SSRS report as a pdf file on my local machine.
I added the ReportService web reference as RS2005 and ReportExecution2005 web reference as RE2005.

I created the following function SaveReport that is called on button click. My report can be accessed on the report server with the following url:

It is deployed in the DataMgmt folder on the Report Manager.

My application gets compiled, but I get the following run time error:
Error: Soap exception unhandeled by user code. The item '/DataMgmt/Sample Letter' cannot be found. ---> Microsoft.ReportingService

Please check my code and let me know what I can do to run this successfully. Once this is done, I would like to get help with passing a parameter (memberID) to the generate report for that member, through this application.

After reviewing the whole post, I have a question to you. You can access the report via the link, http://myServer/Reports_DEVPROJECT/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%2fData+Mgmt%2fSample+Letter.
From the URL, I can see that the report is located at: /Data Mgmt/Sample Letter, instead of /DataMgmt/Sample Letter. In addition, I found that the target report is "/DataMgmt/Sample HAP Letter" instead of "/DataMgmt/Sample Letter" as the error described. I
am not sure whether you post out the correct code segment.

we have integrated siebel with BI publisher, except sadmin other users not able to see BI publisher reports, it is throwing error "No file has been attached to this record, please attach a file. SBL-SVC-00155".
when login with sadmin report is generating. we have created user sadmin on BI publisher. if we change that user sadmin on BI publisher to some other name, then sadmin not able to generate reports. is there any specific on user creation on BIP should match with siebel?

i suggest then dropping user and re-creating and then re-assigning permission (just keep his webcat files) - it'll be faster than looking into individual permissions
another possible option - did you check his browser? sometimes the screen resolution can be too low and they don't see it on the same screen - need to scroll.
is it possible he's not using the same Dashboard page as others? just check the "Report Links" to make sure
i'm not sure what else could be a cause of this

Mac App Store update: right Apple ID but wrong user account

My Mac App Store updates get associated to the wrong user account but the correct Apple ID.
I live in Germany and have an iMac and a MacBook Pro, both purchased under Snow Leopard and now running Lion 10.7.2. Just after upgrading to Lion I "purchased" a free App (BibleReader 5.0.0). This morning I logged into my wife's user account on the MacBook Pro, and the App Store icon flagged an update. I switched to my user account and was surprised to see that the update wasn't flagged there. By listing my purchases I did suceed in finding an "update" button for BibleReader, but pressing it resulted in a (German) error message whch translates as "An update is available for another account. Please log in with the account you used to purchase the App". But that is what I had just done.
Intrigued I went back to my wife's user account. By logging onto the Mac App Store with my Apple ID from my wife's user account I did manage to update the app. Later at work I got the same error message on the iMac. But this time the only other user account on the machine belongs to Computing Services: I don't have their password and I ought not to use admin rights to gain access to their account. So I can't perform the upgrade on the iMac.
All family iTunes / App Store purchases are via my main Apple ID. My wife's user account on the MacBook Pro only exists so that I can manually synchronise our iCloud address books (she has an iPad).
Any ideas?

All the applications you purchase on the App Store are registered to your Apple ID, so you have to use your Apple ID to update them, or you have to purchase those applications again using the Apple ID they are using on that computer, so they will be able to update them

They can, but not at the same time.
If one user left iTunes running, and another user tries to use iTunes from a different Windows user ID, that second user will get an error message. If they really want to use iTunes, they either have to beg the first user to log in and close iTunes, or else they have to restart the computer.
If you are asking the technical reason why, it is something about context switching.

Same with me nothing has changed. However what reduces it for me is if you change your battery settings to high performance. But it still does it, you will just find it will do it less.
