Hi I am having a build dependency problem when writing webservices with JDeveloper
[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ERROR] BUILD ERROR
[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
[INFO] Error building POM (may not be this project's POM).
Project ID: com.sun.codemodel:codemodel:jar:null
Reason: Cannot find parent: com.sun:codemodel for project: com.sun.codemodel:codemodel:jar:null for project com.sun.codemodel:codemodel:jar:null
It's true, I cannot find this dependency anywhere, the dependency that causes this problem is:
<dependency>
<groupId>oracle.jdeveloper.library</groupId>
<artifactId>JAX-WS-Web-Services</artifactId>
<version>11.1.2.0.0</version>
<type>pom</type>
<scope>compile</scope>
</dependency>
which JDeveloper puts into my pom file.

I guess you can't do this. Looks like the messages are not customizable.

  • Issue in deploying Service Bus projects using maven

    Hi,
    I am following the following documentation for deploying service bus projects to my OSB server.
    http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1213/core/MAVEN/osb_maven_project.htm#MAVEN8973
    I was able to issue mvn package as described in documentation and also able to see sbar files in .data/Maven directory of each project.
    But i am seeing following error when i issue mvn pre-integration-test. Am i missing any steps.

  • Sharing ruleset between several projects (FlexPMD + Maven)

    Hi,
    We are building a bunch of flex projects using Maven, with a customized ruleset.xml. The method mentionned in the doc.
    <configuration>
         <ruleSet>${basedir}/your-flex-pmd-ruleset.xml</ruleSet>
    </configuration>
    works just fine for one project, but does not allow to share the configuration between several projects. Would there be anyway to get the ruleset as an artifact or in a jar, or to share it between several projects in any other way ?

    Please let us know the solution for the same. Thanks in Advance !

    As a workaround, after doing a "Clean All" and just before doing a "Build All", I created a "weboutput" folder manually under the 'build' folder in the web project in Workshop. That worked for me.
    [For some reason, everytime we do a "Clean", it deletes the 'weboutput' folder that it depends on ,even though it always remains empty].
    Hope this helps !

  • Getting error while deploying New WebService project on standalone server

    Hi,
    I have created a new Model project for WebService and I am able to test this new webservice project by launching "TalentTasksServiceImpl.java" file locally but getting some error while deploying it on standalone server. See below log for more details,

    I have verified the jar selection mention on this forum link: help..
    Any help on this will be greatly appreciate.

    Yes Frank. Ours is an SDO service created as per [Service enabled Application Modules|http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/b31974/bcextservices.htm#CJAJGIEB] . We have created the deployment profile as a 'Business Component Service Interface' profile.
    Our attempt to deploy onto standalone from Jdev also fails with the same error. Unsure why the interface is unable to load - Error: Could not load endpointInterface oracle.apps.xyz.common.tasksService.TasksService.
    Does this mean, the deployment process is unable to locate this interface? We have cross checked our deployment profiles quite a few times and could not find anything amiss.

    Regards

    Same composite we were able to deploy successfully without any error, from Monday onward we are experiencing this issue.
    We checked in Installation Guide provided by oracle. Oracle has suggested few memory related changes in ant-sca-compile.xml file.
    Increasing Memory to avoid Compilation Errors
    To avoid out-of-memory errors during compilation of a SOA composite application, you need to
    increase the following memory settings.
    To increase memory settings:
    1. Open the ant-sca-compile.xml file in the SOA_HOME/bin directory.
    2. Under the scac element, increase the following memory settings.
    <jvmarg value="-Xms2048m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-Xmx2048m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:PermSize=32m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"/>
    3. For Windows change the following memory settings to.
    <jvmarg value="-Xms1536m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-Xmx1536m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:PermSize=32m"/>
    <jvmarg value="-XX:MaxPermSize=256m"/>
    We did those changes but still experiencing same error. I checked H:\AIASOAProject\AIAReceiptInterface\ReceiptListEbizProvider\SCA-INF\classes\scac.log ; file its showing Could not create the Java virtual machine.
    Regards
    Manish

    XSD (XML Schema Definition), is an abstract representation of a XML characteristics.
    The WSDL (Web Services Description Language), describes the functionality offered by your web service.
    You can say what operations your services offers, and describe the messages used for this operations in your XSD.

    Have you installed the 64-bit Access driver on your machine? See
    Data Source Names and 64-Bit Operating Systems for the differences in odbcad32. Call %SystemRoot%\system32\odbcad32.exe to check the drivers.
    How do you host your service? Stand-alone or IIS or embedded to another application? Keep in mind that IIS7 runs it in its application pool which is defaullt 64bit. Thus the bad image exception, when compiling your service as 32bit.
    When you need the Access database for your service to store informtation, then I would switch to SQL Server (Express) or XML files depending on your actual needs.
    Also check whether your account under which your service is run has the necessary NTFS file permissions on the access file and the folder. This is getting even more complex when it's a remote folder.

        Could u introduce the working  contents of  the project using java  ?
        1. Do you develop function that would run in a sap standard system(such as CRM ,internet sales)?  OR  develop a  completely independent web application base on client's demand(EJB,JSP,HTML)?
      2.Do all the user interfaces run in web browser ?
        In a word ,I  just want to know  what picture is it as you are using java to work on SAP ,Because I must study AP&JAVA duo to the coming project.  Could you explain  it for me about SAP&JAVA in any perspective according to your project experience .
       BTW: I have 2 years experience on J2EE and 1 year on ABAP. So how i should get started ?

    Hi Guixin,
    The most common structure for building a WebDynPro application is to expose functionality from underlying systems and present it using the WebDynPro UI.  Often the underlying system is a SAP ERP/CRM type system, but can also be any WebService compliant system, or a combination of both.
    Using the Netweaver System Landscape Directory (SLD), WebDynPro can send and receive data independantly of the source.  SAP ERP/CRM systems will expose their functionality using RFC-enabled BAPIs.  These functions can be standard SAP delivered modules or custom developed using ABAP.
    The choice of where to develop your business logic really depends on the history/strengths of your organisation.  If you have a strong history of ABAP development in SAP, then it would be recommended to use ABAP for your business logic and WebDynPro for UI.  If J2EE is the strong suit, use that instead.
    The WebDynPro interface runs in a browser (either IE or Firefox) however there is a beta version of a WebDynPro GUI for Windows which may offer some performance improvements.
    HTH,
    Jonathan

  • How to create project using JAX-ws 2.0 in My-eclipse

    Hi Friend,
    I want to create one application in which i want to use JAX-WS 2.0 by using IDE Myeclipse.
    I want to know wether myeclipse will support JAX-WS 2.0 Or not.
    If Yes then please guide me How can i go ahead .
    I tried to create WEB services project using Myeclipse but it is using XFire .
    Which i want to avoid . I want it without using XFire.

    I found out that deployment is specified in different JSR (109). I quickly browsed through that specification and found out that basically everything except @WebService annotation is optional. So should a Java EE 5 compliant server publish the service automatically, just by adding that @WebService annotation? That didn't seem to be the case at least in Geronimo 2.0.2.

  • Eclipse web project using Glassfish 4.1 can not load some libraries in modules directory

    We installed latest "Glassfish Tools for Luna" (updated on 2 October 2013) and created a new Eclipse dynamic web project using Glassfish 4.1. When try to annotate a class with "javax.enterprise.context.ApplicationScoped", it complains as "ApplicationScoped cannot be resolved to a type" although imported as "import javax.enterprise.context.ApplicationScoped".
    Checking "glassfish-4.1/glassfish/modules/" directory and there is cdi-api.jar that contains ApplicationScoped class. But when checking from the project libraries in the eclipse, couldnt see such a jar.
    My configuration:
    Eclipse 4.4
    Glassfish runtime java development kit : java 1.8.0_20
    Project java development kit : java 1.8.0_20
    Project compiler level : 1.8
    Project facets : Dynamic web module 3.1, Java 1.8, Glassfish Web Extensions 4.0, Javascript 1.0
    How to solve this issue?
    Thanks.

    There are 274 jars in the Glassfish 4.0 modules directory, whereas there are 282 jars in the Glassfish 4.1 modules directory. So it is not only cdi-api.jar. Moreover there are some libraries, the names of which have been changed.
    Why not simply importing all libraries in the modules directory to Eclipse, like Tomcat plugin does for tomcat/lib directory? So when manually deploying a library(jar) to modules directory Eclipse will discover it automatically.
    Thanks.
