JDeveloper 11g af:inputRangeSlider and partialTriggers

I need to update an inputRangeSlider from ValueChangeEvent of a selectBooleanCheckbox. To do this I added a partialTriggers in the inputRangeSlider pointed to the selectBooleanCheckbox.
Upon returning from the server inputRangeSlider appears broken with the 2 marks to the left without text underneath.
I think the partialTriggers does not work well with the inputRangeSlider.
Sorry about my english.

  • Jdeveloper 11g adf app and frames

    We have an existing html web page that has top and bottom frames.
    The buttons in the top frame when clicked show the corresponding page in the bottom frame.
    Button1 Button2 <<<<< top frame
    "Employee Maint" link << bottom frame
    In one of these bottom pages, "Employee Maint" link is there. When clicked pulls up a Jdev Application in the bottom frame.
    Earlier Jdev/adf app was not showing up in the bottom frame. So "frame buster" was needed. Now it shows ok inside the bottom frame.
    But now, after the Jdeveloper page is loaded, when we try to use the "Button1 or Button2" in the top frame to pull up other pages it does not work.
    (this could be because of the "frame buster").
    This works well in IE but an issue with Safari/Chrome/Firefox.
    Is there any solution for this so that the top buttons continue to work even after clicking on the Jdeveloper App.(that uses frame buster)
    Thanks

    Hi,
    just clarifying.
    Need is "How do we undo the framebusting inside the ADF application after the ADF page is loaded in the frame".
    Thanks

    i read the Oracle JDeveloper 11g Installation Guide and in "11 Using WebLogic Server with Oracle JDeveloper"
    "Installing Oracle JDeveloper Studio 11g Release 1 (11.1.1) also automatically installs Oracle WebLogic Server 10g Release 3 (10.3). Oracle JDeveloper uses this preconfigured installation as the Integrated WLS, a Oracle JDeveloper-managed server for testing and debugging your applications from within the IDE. *After installing Oracle JDeveloper, everything you need to begin developing, testing and debugging web applications is installed and configured for you; no additional configuration steps are necessary for development purposes.*"

  • How to get multiple out parameters from a pl/sql stored procedure in ADF Jdeveloper 11g release2

    I´m trying to call from AppModuleImpl a stored procedure from my oracle DB which receives one input parameter and returns 5 out parameters.
    I´m using jdeveloper 11g release2  ADF and I have created a java bean "ProRecallPlatesBean " with the atributes and accesors and I serialize it. just like in this article http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24382_01/web.1112/e16182/bcadvgen.htm#sm0297
    This is my code so far:
    public ProRecallPlatesBean getCallProRecallPlates(String numPlates) {
    CallableStatement st = null;
    try {
              // 1. Define the PL/SQL block for the statement to invoke
              String stmt = "begin CTS.Pk_PreIn.proRecallPlates(?,?,?,?,?,?); end;";
              // 2. Create the CallableStatement for the PL/SQL block
              st = getDBTransaction().createCallableStatement(stmt,0);
              // 3. Register the positions and types of the OUT parameters
              st.registerOutParameter(2,Types.VARCHAR);
    st.registerOutParameter(3,Types.VARCHAR);
    st.registerOutParameter(4,Types.VARCHAR);
    st.registerOutParameter(5,Types.VARCHAR);
    st.registerOutParameter(6,Types.VARCHAR);
    // 4. Set the bind values of the IN parameters
    st.setString(1,numPlates);
    // 5. Execute the statement
    st.executeUpdate();
    // 6. Create a bean to hold the multiple return values
    ProRecallPlatesBean result = new ProRecallPlatesBean();
    // 7. Set values of properties using OUT params
    result.setSpfVal(st.getString(2));
    result.setTransportTypeVal(st.getString(3));
    result.setTransportCompanyVal(st.getString(4));
    result.setCompanyDescrVal(st.getString(5));
    result.setDGAPrint(st.getString(6));
    // 8. Return the result
    return result;
    } catch (SQLException e) {
    throw new JboException(e);
    } finally {
    if (st != null) {
    try {
    // 9. Close the JDBC CallableStatement
    st.close();
    catch (SQLException e) {}
    In Jdeveloper I went into AppModule.xml JAVA>Client Interface section and expose "getCallProRecallPlates" Then I can see "getCallProRecallPlates" in Data Controls, I drag and drop it to a JSF page, an input text component and a button are generated in order to put in there the procedure input parameter (numPlates).
    I don't know if I'm on the right track.
    When I click the button, the "result" variable is supposed to be filled with data from the stored procedure. I want each of those values to be displayed in Output text or input text adf components but I dont know how. Thank you very much in advance I´m a newbie and i'll appreciate your help!

    What version are you on?
    Works fine for me on my 11g:
    SQL> create or replace procedure testxml (clob_out out clob)
      2  is
      3     l_clob   clob;
      4     l_ctx    dbms_xmlquery.ctxhandle;
      5  begin
      6     l_ctx := dbms_xmlquery.newcontext ('select * from dual');
      7     l_clob := dbms_xmlquery.getxml (l_ctx);
      8     clob_out := l_clob;
      9     dbms_xmlquery.closecontext (l_ctx);
    10  end testxml;
    11  /
    Procedure created.
    SQL>
    SQL> variable vout clob;
    SQL>
    SQL> exec testxml (:vout)
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    SQL>
    SQL> print vout
    VOUT
    <?xml version = '1.0'?>
    <ROWSET>
       <ROW num="1">
          <DUMMY>X</DUMMY>
       </ROW>
    </ROWSET>But definitely you can optimize your proc a bit: Try
    create or replace procedure testxml (clob_out in out nocopy clob)
    is
       l_ctx    dbms_xmlquery.ctxhandle;
    begin

  • Can't Run JDeveloper 11g on JDK 6_13 for Windows 64-bit

    Hi all,
    When I attempt to run JDeveloper 11g (base install), and select my java.exe file from my JDK 6_13x64 installation I get the following error message:
    "Unable to find Java Virtual Machine.
    "To point to a location of a Java Virtual Machine, please refer to the Oracle9i JDeveloper Install Guide (jdev\install.html)."
    In addition to the incorrect version number, the JDeveloper Install Guide makes no mention of this problem. I've found a few posts on this forum where people had this problem, but they're all pretty old, and none of them got satisfactory answers. A few possibilities mentioned in those posts that I've eliminated are as follows:
    - I've confirmed that this is, indeed, the JDK, not just a JRE.
    - This is the production version of JDeveloper 11g, not a technical preview, so it shouldn't require 1.5.
    - There are no spaces in the paths to either the JDK or JDeveloper.
    Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
    Thanks much,
    Avrom

    Thanks, Shay. That does seem to work, and will suffice as a workaround for now. But are there plans to make JDeveloper compatible with the 64-bit edition of Java? It would be nice to get what I assume is a substantial performance enhancement from using it.
    10:06 PM: Actually, it doesn't work very well. JDeveloper will start, but it has a lot of stability problems; it seems to freeze at 100% CPU usage (well, 25%, but I'm on a quad processor) at the drop of a hat, such as when I minimize, walk away for 90 minutes, and come back--once it even did it just when I tried to create a new application. I've installed this version of JDev on a 32-bit system and have found it to be generally quite stable, so I assume this is a problem with my setup.

    Well, I have exactly the same problem "System user not available..."
    I am doing something VERY simple: create a JavaEE app, create a single Session bean, everything deafult and then simply "Run..." that bean.
    This problem remains even after I have successfully changed the OC4J path to "c:\kkk2".
    Any other ideas?
    Another question: in the previous JDeveloper, local and remote interfaces to EJB-s were hidden in the pp explorer. Can I still activate this feature?

  • Creating and Binding View Objects dynamically : Oracle Jdeveloper 11g

    Hello,
    We are trying to create and bind view objects dynamically to adf data visualization components.
    The view object is a result of multiple tables.
    We are using Oracle JDeveloper 11g Technical Preview. ( can't upgrade to TP2 or TP3 now).
    We have found this : http://radio.weblogs.com/0118231/stories/2003/07/15/creatingUpdateableMultientityViewObjectDefinitionsDynamically.html on our search for the same.
    The sample application however, is in 10g , hence required migration.
    Also, it was a standalone application with the TestClient.java having a main() method.
    Our requirement is for Web Application; we use Adf+jsf .
    Guidance of any sort is very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    there also exist a forum for JDeveloper 11: JDeveloper and OC4J 11g Technology Preview
    What you are trying todo is not trivial because you need to not only dynamically create the VO, you would also dynamically need to create the binding meta data for it (assuming you use ADF). Not sure if the API to modify the binding is public, so posting it on the JDeveloper 11 forum bears a glimpse of hope for an answer
    In JDeveloper 10.1.3 you can't do this

  • Soa 11g and jdeveloper 11g user defined extension function

    I have developed a set of extension functions,
    in design time for the previous version, I can put the deployment file (jar file) that contains the extension functions in the %JDEV_HOME%\jdev\lib\ext directory and jdeveloper recognizes the set of extension functions if previously i have defined an xml descriptor with every one of the functions i need to include in the panel.
    Now, with the jdeveloper 11g i have tried the same, and jdev recognizes the functions, but when I am going to test one transformation that includes the extension function, the parser is not founding the jar file; the error (in spanish) is:
    XML-22045: (Error) Error de funcion de extension: No se ha encontrado la clase '

    my dude is:
    + at design time, where can I put the jars with extension functions to make one transformation function used in a mediator component can works fine?
    + at runtime, where can I put those libraries? (in the previous version, we can put this libraries in the %APP_SERVER%\j2ee\home\applib, or create one shared library and reference it in the oracle.bpel.common shared library declaration of the server.xml configuration file).

  • JDeveloper 11g and JDK 1.4.2_16

    Hi! I just created a new simple app in JDev 11g and selected the JDK 1.4.2_16 for the model project. I created a set of business components from tables, built the project and them attempted to run the AppModule tester.

    Am I to assume that jdk1.4.x is no longer supported in JDeveloper and that I should start using JDK1.5.x? But apps built with JDK1.5.x are not supported in AppServer 10.1.2.0.2, which is J2EE 1.3 compliant... Does that mean that JDeveloper 11g is suitable only for apps deployed on OAS 10.1.3.x and above? (OAS 10.1.3.x is J2EE 1.4 compliant, and OAS 11g will be J2EE 5.x compliant).
    Comments please.
    Thx!

    be on OracleAs 10.1.3 at a minimum<<The problem (for us) with Oracle AS 10.1.3 is that Portal 10.1.4 will not run on it (not certified). We want to take advantage of ADF RC and we hope to be able to produce JSF portlets or "portletized" apps. But at the moment we are "stuck" with 10.1.2.0.2 and JDK 1.4.x/J2EE1.3...
    While you can have a 10.1.2 farm and add a 10.1.3 separate instance it is not a clean/complete integration (you can't manage all services from the 10.1.2 farm EM and others; this is what I've seen so far, IMO).
    We can't wait for OAS 11g to come out and take a look at that. And I certainly hope that Portal will be certifed on 11g so that we can just jump there.
    Another wish: WebCenter functionality in Portal, or Portal/WebCenter rolled out into one.

  • JDeveloper 11g and BPEL

    Hi all,
    I am new to JDeveloper 11g (11.1.1.3) and BPEL. As such, I cannot find the tools to create a new BPEL application with JDeveloper 11g.
    When I installed the updates for SOA via the check updates, it still does not list the BPEL application palette tools. If anyone can help me to find these
    BPEL tools with JDeveloper 11g, would appreciate your help.

    Make sure when you start up JDeveloper, select "Default Role" when enables all technologies. Some role like "Java Edition" may filter out the SOA technologies by default.
    If you have installed the update for SOA properly, you should be able to select "SOA Application" when you create a new application.
    When you walk through the create application steps, you can pick "Composite with BPEL Process" as the template and JDeveloper will create the application with your project name.
    When you expand the project folder under the "Application Navigator", you should see an folder named "SOA Content".
    You can find a file called "composite.xml" in that folder. Open that file by double clicking it. You should see the BPEL process appeared as a blue box in the middle.
    Open that BPEL process by double clicking it. You should see the BPEL components palette once you in the editor.
    Hopes that help!

  • Weblogic 10.3.1 and jdeveloper 11g

    I delete the java_home environment variable and the jdk value of path environment variable. Then, I reinstall jdeveloper 11g. An adf application can be run on default server and it works fine.
    I also create a new weblogic domain and extend the jrf. The application can be deployed to the new domain. However, after the login page, the next page is blank.

    Hi
    Here I am creating dynamic partner link to call OSB service in my BPEL process. I wan make it dynamic to change run time server address and port numbers. Here I am getting Error (Error occurred reading inline schemas) while creating reference variable as per BPEL cook book. To resolve that exception, I have created /bpel/system/xmllib/ folders in SOA 11g and placed ws-addressing.xsd file. After I am trying to import in BPEL process, still I am getting same Exception.
    Even I tried to read ws-addressing.xsd file through IE browser (http://Host:Port/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd) after placing that directory(/bpel/system/xmllib/). My SOA server and everything is running.
    Thanks in advance.

  • JDeveloper 11g and 64bit Java

    Hi everyone.
    I have just installed JDeveloper 11g on my 64bit CentOS machine and everything worked as expected.
    Then I tried to use my 64bit JDK version 1.6.0.10 and after a little bit of tampering with the installation directories I was able to do that too.
    All it took was to link the $JDEV_HOME/jdk160_05 directory to the location of the actual JDK installation.
    To be honest I did not notice any changes in terms of speed.
    So my question is whether a 64 bit JDK is officially supported and if the whole 64 bit issue is worth it at all.
    Thanassis

    *** Note ***
    One possibility for the deployment failure is that the target Database may not support JDK version 1.5. Updating your Project Properties compiler Source & Target to an earlier release could fix this problem.
    How can I either downgrade JDK on the compiler(JDeveloper) to be 1.4 or, How can I resolve the error,
    ORA-29521: referenced name java/lang/StringBuilder could not be found
    Thanks,

  • JDevLibsForAnt and JDeveloper 11g (Jan Vervecken)

    Hi All (especially Jan, if you're listening),
    I'm currently working on the ANT article for my [url http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/adf-development-essentials/index.html]ADF Essentials series on OTN. I found the jDevLibsForAnt extension quite useful under JDev 10.1.3.x, and I'd like to use it and refer to its use in the article.
    A specific question for Jan - have you updated it for 11g? If not, do you plan to? If not, do you mind if I do?
    You can reply directly to this thread, or if its more convenient, my e-mail is firstname <dot> lastname <at> gmail.com.
    Best,
    John

    hi John
    Updating the JDevLibsForAnt JDeveloper extension for JDeveloper 11g is something I would like to do soon, but I don't know exactly when.
    The file JDevLibsForAntApps-v0.02.zip also contains source files. Feel free to work with that if it applies to JDeveloper 11g. You might want to change names and namespaces if you plan on publishing anything.
    regards
    Jan Vervecken
