JDeveloper Compiler Error during BPEL flow deployment

Hi,
Has anyone encountered the following during BPEL deployment? I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4. I was able to deploy last week without any problems.

Just an update to this...
I copied the BPEL flow project to our Linux server, where I was successfully able to compile and deploy the flow using devprompt and Ant. So, the problem is with JDev on my PC, but I'm not sure why though.
I have rebooted my PC, shutdown any unnecessary apps, and the problem continues. Will see if the problem exists with other flows.

  • Error during "Process Flow" deployment

    Hello everyone,
I am having trouble deploying my first "Process Flow" object. I am using OWB 9.2 and WF 2.6.2 on Windows XP.
Here is the error I am getting:
RPE-02085: Failed to test wb_rti_workflow_util.initialize through deployed Workflow Database Link DSRD_QA.US.ORACLE.COM@WB_LK_WF_LOADS. Please check that "EXECUTE ANY PROCEDURE" privilege is set and that the OWB Runtime is available.
    - ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object OWBRR.WB_RTI_WORKFLOW_UTIL@DSRD_QA.US.ORACLE.COM@WB_LK_WF_LOADS
ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist
Here is what I have done so far based on what read in different posts on this forum (nothing seems to fix my problem):
o connect to SYS in the TARGET database (where OWF
schema was installed) and ran the following:
GRANT execute any procedure to owf_mgr
o I used "localhost" when I registered the WF object.
Then, as per one post, I changed it to "DNS name".
    Did not help at all.
o Then, I tried to test the DB link (mentioned in the
error Msg above) and it DID NOT work. Then, as per
another post, I removed the part of host name that
    appeared after the ".", i.e, DB.someplace.com to
DB. Then I ran a query using this DBLink and it worked
OK. Then I tried to deploy the WF object, it failed
    with same error as above.
I am hoping someone will help me out on this issue - I have seen several posts with similar error messages and have tried almost all the solutions presented in there - nothing worked for me so far. Here is DB link definition:
    ORIGINAL:
    create public database link DSRD_QA.US.ORACLE.COM@WB_LK_WF_LOADS
connect to OWBRR identified by tiger using '(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=CENTENNI-4F4322.CENTENNIALCOLLEGE.CA)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=DSRD_QA)))'
    Changed:
    create public database link DSRD_QA.US.ORACLE.COM@WB_LK_WF_LOADS
connect to OWBRR identified by tiger using '(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=CENTENNI-4F4322)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=DSRD_QA)))'
NOTE: HOST was chanegd to just DNS name (part after the "." was removed). Changed DBLink works fine - original one does not.
Thank you all in advance for your time and reponse!
    Regards,
    Amer

    Hello Jean-Pierre,
I have tried almost what I could but I am still getting following errors when I try to deploy "process flow":
RPE-02085: Failed to test wb_rti_workflow_util.initialize through deployed Workflow Database Link OWB92TRG.US.ORACLE.COM@WB_LK_WF_PKG2. Please check that "EXECUTE ANY PROCEDURE" privilege is set and that the OWB Runtime is available.
    - ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object [email protected]@WB_LK_WF_PKG2
ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist
Most recent thing I tried was to run "catrpc.sql" script on the TARGET database using SYS.
I know you must be a very busy person but I would appreciate if you could try this in your env. Both my SOURCE and TARGET databases are local and I have installed all OWB and OWF repositories in the TARGET database. I have successfully deployed and executed OWB Mappings. Now I am stuck with OWF Process Flow deployment. This would perhaps be the last thing I need to do in order to be able to schedule ETL jobs through OWF.
All your help and time is highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Amer

when I run the following little script in my Oracle 8.1.7 SQL plus spreadsheet I get the following error message:

  • Compile error during Flex Deployment of a Webservice

    Hello,
We are using the Visual Composer (7.0 SP9) to display the data from a home made Web Service. This is the complete display of a simple table without input.
We tested the Web Service with the "Test Dat Service" option and within the Web Service Navigator of the J2EE Engine. This all worked fine.
When we try to deploy the application with Flash/Flex it fails, but when we try to deploy it with WebDynpro, the table is displayed correctly.

    Hi Edwin,
have you access to the AAD25B.mxml file and take a look at the lines where the errors occurs?
Maybe you get further particulars about the errors.
But I think, this is an error in VC, but I'm not sure.

Did you find a way out of this error? Could you share the solution with me? Because I am facing a problem that looks just like the one you had.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Compile error for BPEL process

I am attempting to compile the second BPEL tutorial (the one that connects to a service) using Jdeveloper. I am running into the following error:
Error: C:\Oracle\jdeveloper\webservices\lib\jaxr_api.jar (The system cannot find the file specified)
This file is clearly there and I even tried adding it explicitly to the properties for included jars.
    Any thoughts??
Search here and on the web resulted in zero hits.

    Hi,
    1. Restart the upgrade
    2. When it shows the error above open callSdmViaSapinst.log and search for the application that can't be deployed
    3. If application is STOPPED start it
    4. Undeploy the application if it is STARTED
    5. Press the "Retry" button in the error message dialog box from the
    upgrade
    6. If it fails again for another application go to 2.
Please refer SAP NOte 851590. I don't know if it work for u, as i have given this , it seems for Upgrade as you are developing.
    Look into this thread also

  • Compilation error with BPEL Process:::

    Hi All ,
I am nadly stuck at compilation of a BPEL error . The error message is like this :
    Error:
    [Error ORABPEL-10902]: compilation failed
[Description]: in "bpel.xml", XML parsing failed because "undefined part element.
In WSDL at "file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/ashsriva/Desktop/jdev10/jdev/mywork/Application1/BPELProcess2/bpel/BRMBaseServices.wsdl", message part element "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/BRM/schemas/BusinessOpcodes}PCM_OP_READ_FLDS_inputFlist" is not defined in any of the schemas.
Please make sure the spelling of the element QName is correct and the WSDL import is complete.
    [Potential fix]: n/a.
I have already put all the xsd files in the bpel directory but still this error keeps showing , Please can anybody help me out with this , I am badly stuck at this .
    Regards

This error is not due to the folder is having spaces or not.
This error may occur due to the duplicate elements, multiple reference of wsdl, xsd or due to invalid message or element type.

  • How do I see javac compiler errors during JSP precompile?

I played with all the options that "weblogic.jspc"
supports. I couldn't get the javac compiler errors to
show up when there is a problem with the generated
              Java file.
Interestingly the same JSP when compiled automatically
by the weblogic server, the javac errors show up in
              the output.
              Any tricks? or ideas?
              thanks

In WL 5.1, earlier service packs would sometimes not show the errors. Get sp6 or later.

Setting the Vendor Type of the Database to SQL92 helps.
I don't know if it allways maps the datatypes right.

  • JDeveloper 11g Errors Editing BPEL Database Adapter

I am encountering problems editing Database Adapters in a BPEL based Service Composite Application in JDeveloper. Specifically,
    * double-clicking an existing Database Adapter component to view/edit it generates an uncaught exception in the GUI
    * clicking Next through the wizard proceeds to the next step but the view showing the
SQL select criteria and input parameters doesn't return the original values set when the
adapter was first created -- a second NPE is logged at that time
Here are the specifics of what's running:
    * host for JDeveloper is a Windows7 Home Premium 64-bit (version 61. build 7601 SP 1) PC with 8GB RAM
    * JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 (the SOA / WebCenter version)
    * the c:\OracleMW directory has JDK 6.0.24 installed
    * the Windows machine does have Java EE JDK 7 installed but JDeveloper uses the JDK inside c:\OracleMW
    * while running, JDeveloper is using around 274M of memory
    * database hosting the SOA meta data store and the desired DB of the adapter is 11g (11.2.0.1.0)
    * database is up, reachable and healthy while attempting to edit the Adapter component
Here is the exact error encountered and the stack trace:
GUI popup = An unexpected error has occurred in JDeveloper. The program may be unstable, which could result in data loss. Decide how you want to proceed and click OK.
    Details = Uncaught exception
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    o.tip.tools.ide.adapters.designtime.adapter.xr.util.SQLRefresher.run(SQLRefresher.java:118)
    j.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:662)
If you click on ignore / continue and proceed through the steps of the Wizard, when the Define Selection Criteria step appears, the original criteria and input parameters defined when the adapter was first built are not displayed and the "Feedback - Log" tab in the log windows registers another entry of:
Previously reported error [NPE in o.tip.tools.ide.adapters.designtime.adapter.xr.util.SQLRefresher:118]
Also, if you go through the motions of adding a new parameter variable in the top section of the dialog, after clicking OK, the dialog DOES suddenly display the original variables defined as input parameters.
Thinking this is a symptom of JDeveloper trying to run in too little memory, I have attempted to increase the max memory setting of JDeveloper to 1024M by adding this line
    AddVMOption -Xmx1024M
    in
    c:\OracleMW\JDeveloper\jdev\bin\jdev.conf
I've also tried adjusting that same setting in the config file for the IDE itself at
    c:\OracleMW\JDeveloper\ide\bin\ide.conf
and get the same result. (Subsequent review of properties in About JDeveloper shows that JDeveloper uses the jdev.conf file, not the ide.conf file FWIW.) Memory really shouldn't be a problem because I'm still new to SOA style development and the "application" involved is a very simple "HelloSOA" type service that just sets a couple of BPEL variables, transforms some input variables into variables passed to this Database Adapter, does a few more Transform operations for the DB result values to the reply values and sends the reply.
However, one other sign that memory utilization could be contributing to this is that periodically, switching to the "Source" view of the composite.xml file or the BPEL process file will lock the GUI up for about 35 seconds with nothing happening. An obvious sign of garbage collection gettng triggered.
    Any suggestions?

Oracle has identified a fix added to newer versions of JDeveloper which corrected these NullPointerException errors encountered using the 11.1.1.5 version of JDeveloper. That fix had not be propagated back to the 11.1.1.5 version but subsequently HAS been ported back. The fix is associated with patch ID 12670305 which can be downloaded from http://support.oracle.com by searching for that bug ID then downloading the associated ZIP file. I've applied the patch to JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 running on Windows7, Vista 32-bit and LINUX 64-bit and it works like a champ on all three platforms.

  • SQL error during CMP bean deployment

    Hi,
the following exception occures when I deploy a CMP bean to a remote OC4J server (it works fine when I use the internal OC4J process of JDeveloper using the same JDBC connection):
    Auto-unpacking E:\Apps\OC4J\j2ee\home\applications\statful.ear... done.
Auto-deploying statful (Assembly had been updated)...
SQL error: E/A-Exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Warning: Error creating table: E/A-Exception: The Network Adapter could not esta
    blish the connection
Auto-deploying statful.jar (ejb-jar.xml had been touched since the previous depl
oyment)... SQL error: E/A-Exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the
    connection
Warning: Error creating table: E/A-Exception: The Network Adapter could not esta
    blish the connection
    done.
The JDBC connection string is "jdbc:oracle:thin:@guopingc:1521:localdb", and it works well if I use it in another java client, like DBVisualizer.
    Thanks!
    CU, Chris

    Chris,
Thanks for that quick little tip! I've been having the same error and just spent close to two hours looking through newsgroups et al. for help. Naturally, they all suggest that the database isn't started or the connection data is incorrect. I did what you suggested and now I'm back in business!
If any Oracle or Atlassian oc4j folks are reading - I was receiving a "Network adaptor could not establish a connection" message when deploying to oc4j from jdeveloper. (To Oracle 8.1.7 w/ jdeveloper 9.0.2.8.2 and ocj4 that came with that.) HOWEVER #1, "test"ing both my app server connnection and database connection worked perfectly from within jdeveloper. I could even open the DB connection and view the db contents. HOWEVER #2, my deployment worked for a while before I started seeing this error. That is, I first created 4 EJBs and deployedc to the container completely successfully. I made some changes and re-deployed successfully. Then I added 3 more beans and started getting the error! This should be fixed.....

  • Compile error during make: ansidecl.h: No such file or directory

Hi - I was trying to make a ruby app and I ran into the following error which seems to have originated in gcc. I can't seem to find much about it on Google, would very much appreciate some help with how to get to the bottom of this, thanks!:
checking for main() in -liberty... no
    creating Makefile
    In file included from dirfibheap.h:5,
    from dirfibheap.c:2:
*fibheap.h:44:22: error: ansidecl.h: No such file or directory*
    make: * \[dirfibheap.o] Error 1
    gcc -fno-common -g -Os -pipe -fno-common -pipe -fno-common -pipe -fno-common -I. -I/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/universal-darwin8.0 -I/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/universal-darwin8.0 -I. -c dirfibheap.c

Apple's gcc doesn't come with this file. It is unlikely that simply getting a version of the file will work. My guess is that you would have to either install an alternative version of gcc which includes it or edit the source code of the app you're compiling to avoid it. Whether either of these would work, I can't say. Obviously this application is not ported to or supported on Mac OS X (if it is meant to be, report the bug). That means there are likely other issues which will crop up if you sort this one. I don't say this to put you off but only as a warning. (This may be superfluous and you may know all this very well. If so, my apologies.)
What are you trying to compile? Have you tried the forums for the application? Has anybody else compiled it for OS X? Have you seen if Fink or Mac Ports have it?
