  • Labview runs CANBus and DNP3 software model at the same time

I have an ordinary computer which communicates with several DSPs (CANBus communiation) through Compact Rio. The physical connection is that the DSPs' CANBuses are connected together and connected into Compact Rio, then the Compact Rio is connected with a router through Ethernet, at the same time, the computer also connects with the Router through Ethernet. Based on this physical architecture, the computer can run CANBus software model on Labview to communiate with Compact Rio and DSPs.
As I know, the communication between the computer and the Compact Rio is not real time, and the communication between Compact Rio and DSPs can be real time, can you tell me if I get the right point?
Now we have another device named RTDS (communicate with outside through Enternet based on DNP3), and want to add RTDS into our system. I am not sure about the way to conduct the communiation. The main question is that we need to run Labview to communicate with DSPs through CANBus and RTDS through DNP3 at the same time, is that possible?
I proposed two possible ways to conduct communication, bt not sure if it is possible.
    1. I proposed that I connect RTDS with the Router through Ethernet, and then the computer communicates with RTDS through the Router based on DNP3 and also keeps the communication with DSPs through Router, Compact Rio, CANBus and then DSPs. I am wondering if this kind of communication is available for Labview.
    2. The second possible way I proposed is that I connect the RTDS with Compat Rio (CRio keeps connecting with DSPs through CANBus) through Ethernet, and then the computer communicates with DSPs through Router, Compact Rio and CANBus, and the computer communicates with RTDS through Router, Compact Rio and Ethernet. Also, the computer needs to run Labview with CANBus sofeware model and DNP3 software model at the same time. I am also not sure if it is possible.
The diagram of the communication system is shown in the attachments.

To use Mail from multiple devices, your Mail Server needs to be using IMAP protocol (iCloud Mail uses that).
IMAP keeps the Master copies on the Server, not on the Mac the way most default POP Mail servers do.
To keep one Master Calendar, accessible from all devices, you need a web-accessible place to keep the Master Calendar. iCloud can do that.
¿Do you see a trend developing here?

  • How to integrate weblogic 10 server in IBM rational software architect 7.0?

    Hi All,
Please help me to resolve this issue!!!!!!!!
I am trying to find it out how to integrate weblogic 10 server in IBM rational software architect 7.0?
    Thanks
    Harshad

You're right: Weblogic supports Apache web server 2.0 and 2.2 to be a proxy server but you are using Oracle Application Server 10.1.3.1.0 which is based on Apache *1.3* as you can read in "Oracle® HTTP Server Administrator's Guide"
10g (10.1.3.1.0) - Part Number B28948-01 - 1.1 Oracle HTTP Server Features, right under "Based on Apache - HTTP v1.1 Support" at
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/web.1013/b28948/overview.htm#i1008837.
As far as I know, the only OHS based on Apache *2.0* is available as a standalone release: "Oracle HTTP Server (Apache 2.0) (10.1.3.3.0) for Linux x86" - 32bit. You can download it from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle11g/111060_linuxsoft.html (as_101330_apache2_lnx.zip).
    I've tested it successfully.

  • Installing Dali plugin in IBM Rational Software Architect

    Hi,
We use IBM Rational Software Architect as development environment, and we want to use the Dali Eclipse plugin to generate Entities using TopLink. We cannot get Dali installed in IBM RSA though. Since IBM RSA is based on Eclipse, it shouln't be a problem to install Eclipse plugins. We tried installing Help > Software Updates > Find & Install and via copying the files into the Eclipse tree, but neither of the to methods succeeded. The plugin simply doesn't show up.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do to get it installed? We use a separate installation of Eclipse Europa now as a workaround. But I think you understand we prefer to use a single development environment.
Here's some detailed information about the version of IBM RSA we're using:
    * IBM Rational Software Architect: Version: 7.0.0
    * Eclipse Platform: Version: 3.2.1.r321_v20060921-b_XVA-INSQSyMtx; Build id: M20060921-0945
    Best regards,
    Bart Kummel

Flex Builder 3 plugin is not intended to be installed on Eclipse Galileo (3.5).
Zend Studio 7 is based on Eclipse 3.5, and when I tried to install the FB3 plugin, the installation wizard gave me this error:
"Please choose an existing Eclipse 3.2, 3.3, or 3.4 folder to be extended with the Flex Builder Plugin-ins."
However Flash Builder 4 it seems that it's working with Eclipse 3.5. I've just installed Flash Builder 4 plug-in into Zend Studio 7.

  • Beyond JDeveloper 9.0.3 modeling features

Hi, I'm really impressed by the way JDev 9.0.3 enhance productivity while modeling EJB on Class Diagrams and other modeling features alredy present.
Having read the book "Developing Enterprise Java Applications with J2EE and UML" (ISBN: 0201738295) I was wondering if I can see JDeveloper takes the next level on the modeling side to become a complete J2EE Software Development tool.
    My wish list follows:
    -Use case Diagrams
    -Sequence/Collaboration Diagrams
    -Component Diagrams
    -Deployment Diagrams
-Complete UML support for J2EE (profiles for J2EE)
    -Patterns library
Is that direction JDeveloper will follow or it will remain just as a traditional ide?
Is there any timeline for such integration (approx dates)?
I've just tried Rational XDE but the high price tag is a barrier.
    Thanks

What version of cvs client are you using? From the warning message it looks like JDeveloper is not compatible with the cvs client you are using, as it cvs is ignoring of the parameters JDeveloper is passing to the cvs client.

  • JDeveloper and Oracle Software Packager

Is there any integration between JDeveloper 3.2 and Oracle Software Packager.
If not are there any standard 'Best Practices' for generating builds from JDeveloper in structures that can be used by OSP/OUI.
    null

Please provide enough information for us to know what you are trying to do and with what version.
You could be asking about anything from the box the software comes in (if it did) to built-in PL/SQL packages and we should not have to guess at your meaning.

  • AMC technology software cti integration with CCM

       Hi,
Would like to know the following,
       1) Have an agent when call local calls and mobile numbers from a Cisco ip phone, able to get through but if uses the AMC technology software unable to get through the numbers
       2) Have another agent when call local calls and mobile numbers from a Cisco ip phone able to get through but uses the AMC technology software only able to get through by the area code with the number.
       3) Can confirmed that calling search space are working fine
        4) Any documenation in Cisco or AMC on troubleshooting issues ?
    Thanks
    Alan

    Dear Alan,
Based on your above request it seems like you are using TAPI Integration, if not, Please do specify the CTI Integration configured in AMC Technology software.
In case of TAPI integration you should be able to find the log "CTITAPIModule.log" on AMC Technology MCIS Server Box that would provide the detailed TAPI messages, with the exact number dialed and the error messages if any. This should be a good starting point for trouble shooting.

  • SQL Developer Data Modeler - integration with subversion

I just discovered the release of SQL Developer Data modeler, and found this to be very interesting.
We are still using Oracle Designer for database design, but we are looking for a replacement (for several reasons).
    My question is quite simple:
Given that the modeler uses a filebased repository, and also given that we have several developers potentially working on a data-model at the same time, how does Data Modeler integrate with subversion for source control etc.?
Can the repository itself be under source control, and checked in/out directly from Data Modeler?
Or will only the output files be candidates for version/source control?
Let me admit right away that I have not read much of the data modeler docs, and I have also not downloaded/installed it (yet), but does anyone have pointers to docs on this , or general input/knowledge around it.
On a side note, I must say that it puzzles me that a company like Oracle, that delivers one of the best databases doesn't use its database engine to host the repository, but instead chooses to go for files (I assume xml) "scattered all over the place"....
Well, I guess they a have a reason for it..
    Anyway:
Sql Developer Data Modeler and Subversion anyone?
    Jens

    Hi Jens,
It's early days and the initial implementation is indeed file based. Though I'd say not xml files "all over the place", but in ordered folders. Yes, as a database company it does make sense that we'd have a repository for managing and versioning metadata. However the tool supports Oracle and other databases and many companies use open source version control tools, such as Subversion and so anyone using the Data Modeler today can use it with Subversion regardless of the database they are designing for.
We do plan to have a repository, but in the 6+ months of the early adopter program found that many of the early adopters were happy to place the files under source code control using Subversion and in so doing also managed the multi-user development.
Integrated Subversion support is planned for a future release.

  • IBM websphere 6.1 integration with OAM

    Hi,
    1) Is the "interceptorClassName" Clases Name important? can i name it as other thing rather than what is stated in the documentation?
    example:
According to the WAS integtraion guide the Interceptor classname is as: com.oblix.tai.was5.WebGate2TrustAssociationInterceptor
Can i change it to com.oblix.tai.was5.WebGateTrustAssociationInterceptor
    2) Is there anywhere to verify that TAI is loaded properly and how do i test it?
    ================================================================================
Interceptor classname is under WAS, Secure administration -> applications, and infrastructure -> Trust association -> Interceptors
    Thanks and Regards,
    Grey

Thanks! i got the figure out. but i encouter something else while integrating with WAS
im trying to integrate OAM with WAS without reverse proxy and i followed the documentation religiously. in the documentation
Defining an Oracle Access Manager Policy Domain for WebSphere without Reverse Proxy_
Without reverse proxy, disabling SSO in WAS is required. I will need to protect the WebSphere Administrative Console SSL URL. Otherwise, I will not be able to access the console after disabling SSO in WAS. I have create the policy domain as the documentation.
    ■ Resource Type: http
    ■ Host Identifier: xxx
    ■ URL Prefix: _/ibm/console; and /admin_
    ■ Description: Used by NetPointWASRegistry TAI component.
Authorization Rules: Click the Authorization Rules tab, click Add, and then create and save an authorization rule to allow access to WebSphere Administrative
    Console resources. For example:
    a. Click General, then enter and save:
    * Name: Allow Administrator.
    * Description: Allow access to WebSphere Administrative Console resources.
    * Enabled: Yes
    * Allow takes Precedence: Yes
Without Reverse Proxy: Click Actions, then enter and save the following WebSphere Administrative Console SSL URL for Authentication Success. For example:
Redirect to: https://hostname:port/ibm/console *<- i found out that once I had this implemented. I will be going in an authentication cycle (keep getting authenticated and redirected back to the same page) because it is part of the resources I had it declare previously to be protected.*
Is there a work around or is it due to documentation error?

  • Does jdeveloper provide BPEL designer and integrations ?

    Hi
Thank you for reading my post
    does Jdeveloper provide BPEL integration?
if it has , where i can find tutorials and articles for it
if not , is there any plan to integrate bpel designer into jdev ?
    thanks

    I also need this feature
i want to migrate to Jdeveloper from netbeans enterprise edition
I would be very good if Jdeveloper people post a road map about integrating BPEL / Portlet development into jdeveloper.
In this way we (developers) whom use Jdeveloper or consider migration to jdeveloper are in dark.
Please Post a roadMap or time table that shows when we can develop Portlet and BPEL from within Jdeveloper.

  • IBM Cognos 8 BI Integration with Weblogic portal

    Hi,
In our project we need to integrate IBM Cognos 8 BI portlets with Weblogic portal 10.3.
    1. How to integrate Cognos ?
    2. How to enable SSO between Portals & Cognos? Cognos should use the portal users credentials for authentication
Please share me some useful links and sample code to proceed.
    Thanks & regards,
    Rajesh

Basically I am saying that your options are
    1. Screenscraping the apps into portlets
    2. Using SSO to login to the apps, but keepin them separate
    3. Using Web Services to consume parts of the apps and exposing those as portlets
For our application we do 2 and 3. In many cases we just create portlets that represents views into other j2ee apps. When the users click on something, we launch the j2ee app in a popup browser. The users are already signed on, and taken to a specific detail page, add page or something within the app directly.
    Hope this helps.

  • Jdeveloper 11g team development model when develpoing ADF JSF application.

We have a application include five nearly 10 screens developed using J dev 11g.
Our application conteins model and view projects.
We want some of our developer develop some of the screen of project and other programmer develop the other screens. Just one developer responsible from Model projects.
We shared responsibility between programmers such as.
    Programmer1 --> input.jspx
    Programmer2 --> edit.jspx
We gave programmer projects files. They develop the new screens.
But When we want to combine the screen, some of the shared files suchas (databinding.cpx) couses problems.
How can we manage this kinds of situations. We don't want to create a new projects for each screen.
We are using cvs. But shared files couses problems in CVS also.
is there any metodology you recommend ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Many of our users work in this same way - one application, one model project and one view/controller project. As you are using CVS I would suggest the following:
    1. Have each developer check out the whole application, not just the project
    This is because
    a. there are dependencies between the model and VC project
    b. many of the files also have dependencies (Java/XML metadata, binding, pagedef....)
    2. Make use of Pending Changes
    a. use outgoing changes to ensure that you check in all changed files
    b. be careful that all your outgoing changes are properly checked in - as CVS does not do atomic commits you can experience the situation where some file dependencies are not check in (for example if a network failure). SVN does do atomic commits, by the way
    c. use incoming changes to see changes that have been checked in by other developers - this allows you to do a Compare of files such as DataBindings.cpx to see what changes have been made and, if necessary, to discuss with the other developer prior to doing an update
    3. Use JDevelopers Merge Conflict resolution functionality to merge any conflicts in files
    4. If you are using Task Flows consider having one developer who is responsible for adding/editing them
    a. The information that is shown on the design view is taken from the source XML file - so these will need to be merged if multiple users check in
    b. There is a diagram file associated with each task flow (eg adf-config.adfc_diagram) - this holds the x.y postional information of each shape on the diagram. If a diagram is edited by multiple users it can be complicated to decide which positional info should take precedence
Can you give me an example of the problems you are experiencing with the data binding file?
    regards
