Jintegra.log (0/1)

Question

I am posting this on behalf of a BEA partner in Norway
who are evaluating jCom and have questions concerning it.

Hello,
I've installed jCOM beta on WLS 6.1. We communicate from a Visual
Basic
client to a bridge I have made. The bridge simple calls
"com.bea.jcom.Jvm.register("cdsejb")".
Everything is working just fine, except events are not sent properly
from my
Java Bean to VB. I've checked that the addXXXListener is called OK.
That
I
call the "onNotification" method in the Listener class and so on.
Instead of describing my own code I decided to try out an example from
JIntegra. Same problem. I followed a description from the JIntegra
WebSite
called "VB to Java (early bound)". The example worked up to the point
when
it said to press "click me" and nothing happened (an event should have
been
sent to VB).
I have included the jintegra.log from the test "VB to Java (early
bound)".
Is jCOM suppose to support events?
Has anybody used it, successfully?

Hi,
Those are just reports of what goes on behind the scenes. You can view them by launching Console (in Applications/Utilities), clicking on Logs on the Toolbar them clicking on the log you want to read on the left. They can also be deleted via Console. The Clear button on the Toolbar will delete them when they're highlighted.
Take a look at them before deleting them though. It could be some missing component is causing endless repetition of the same thing. If that's the case post back what it says.
