Populating our log message along with standard sap log in ck11n.

Hi all,
I have developed a user exit which is used in costing of material using ck11n.
Here i have to show our custom log message along with the standard log shown by standard sap system after costing run is complete.
I got one FM-- CM_F_MESSAGE which is used by SAP. But i want the message along with SAP messages and not separately.
Can u help me out for this. its very urgent.

I'm not sure because I don't know that trx, but I seem the function group of that function manages a log, so you can try.
This is an extract of abap code of SAPLCKDI where that fm is used:
CALL FUNCTION 'CM_F_MESSAGE'
   EXPORTING
     ARBGB = Y_CMF-CK
     MSGNR = '327'
     MSGTY = Y_CMF-W
     MSGV1 = SICHT
     MSGV2 = KLVAR.
So I suppose you should call it by this way:
CALL FUNCTION 'CM_F_MESSAGE'
   EXPORTING
     ARBGB = <your message class>
     MSGNR = <message number>
     MSGTY = <message type>
     MSGV1 = <text 1>
     MSGV2 = <text 2>
     MSGV3 = <text 3>
I think MSGV* is optional parameter.

Check with the functional consultant. There might be a config transaction, wherein you can specify the type of error whether Harderror' or warning etc.

When I try to sign in to my account on iTunes, I get the above error message, along with "Please review your account information". When I then click on "Review"

Count me in as having the same problem. I have been leaving messages in the iTunes for Mac forum where others in there also are having problems. I have been unable to access my account since 11/7/2007. E-mails with Apple have not worked and now I haven't heard back from them since Saturday. I have tried both on a Mac and Windows machine and keep receiving the same error message that:
This Apple ID has not yet been used with iTunes.
I last purchased music with this account on 10/30/2007. I even tried resetting my password, changing my account info, trying on a computer with iTunes 7.4, etc. I have money in that account and 150 songs and 5-6 tv shows that I cannot access. I also just purchased a new computer and cannot sync my iPod with this computer since these songs will not transfer.
Apple really needs a phone number for technical support. Having to deal with e-mails back and forth (and waiting a day for each e-mail) is not a good business practice. Hopefully they will have a phone number in the future.
Either way, count me in on getting annoyed that a week later, this issue has not been fixed.

Report inventory at historical exchange rate with standard SAP

Has anyone had to run reports for inventory at historical exchange rates in the US.
Can this be achieved with standard SAP?

To understand why the system behaves in that way, the most important
thing is to understand how area 01 is posting its values:
As you will know, area 01 is the only area that is posting its values
"online" (this means that APC values will be updated in the G/L directly
when posting to an asset). It is a technical matter that this "Online"-
posting will always be done to ALL(!) ledgers that are defined in the
company code. So whatever Ledger group you assign to depreciation area
01, this will not be considered by any APC value posting, APC
transactions (as well as write-ups) will always be posted in ANY ledger
group in G/L with the values from area 01.
If you then want to setup a scenario in Fixed Asset Accounting, where
you post different valuations (local GAAP / IFRS) to a different ledger
group in G/L for parallel valuation, then you have to use (in total) 3
depreciation areas in the following way. For each additional "valuation"
for which you have additional ledgers defined in G/L, and for which you
want to get different values as those posted in area 01, you need also
two additional depreciation areas (1 real and 1 derived area) in
asset accounting.
So a typical dep.area setting for a parallel ledger is like:
           Real      Posting to G/L         Ledger
Area 01     X            1                   0L
Area XX     X            3                   XX (your ledger code)
Area YY                  6                   XX (your ledger code)
Acquisition/transf/retirement postings in area 01 go to all ledgers
independently of your setting in OADB. And, if any difference occurs
between area 01 an area XX this is posted trough the derived area YY
(posting indicator 6).

One option is to use ALV Container. Create a screen with ALV container & keep some blank lines at the footer of the screen. Use classes to call the ALV footer for populating the message.

How to display the message along with a value using BBP_CHECK_BADI

I need to display a message dynamically when the user create's a shopping cart. I am using Check_badi for this. i.e., I need to display the buyer number and amount left for him dynamically. I am storing both of them in variables and don't know how to display the messages laong with some message " the amount left for <XXXXXX> is <$$$$$$$$>". Can you help me out.

Hi,
you can use the function module 'BBP_PD_MSG_ADD'. This is the function module normally used for the displaying the error messages in SRM.
See wether you can use already available error messages , use the transaction SE91 , and the message class being BBP_PD

How to send an Email Message along with a PO PDF Attachment in Word.

I want to send an Email to a customer. The subject of the email is the PDF attachment of the Purchase order.
Then in the Body of the email, we need to put a small Mesasge in the Body of the Email: Example

Hi Walter,
In NACE transaction, select Application EF , then select your P.O Message ( standard is NEU ) .
Then in "processing routing" parts check that there is an entry for medium 5 ( external send ) , if not please set it with corresponding print program, from routine and forms to use .
Then in "Mail Title and Text" parts you can define your mail title with variable and your mail body . Please find below a sample for this. To define the mail body just click on the icon for text ( it's like sapscript text ).
Mail Title : "Your P.O &EKKO-EBELN"
Mail Body : "Please find enclosed our P.O &EKKO-EBELN....."
That's all for NACE parts.
After this you have to define thru condition that the medium will be used for each P.O. For this check with functionnal consultant if everything is ok and the same that for medium 1.
Then when you create a P.O, SAP will generate a mail with supplier e-mail adress define in his masterdata . The forms will be converted according to your customizing in transaction SCOT ( node SMTP , Support address type parts) .
Of course you also have to define a job for sending the mail .

Tracking User Activity with Standard Web Logs and Tools Like WebTrends

We are running EP 6 SP14 on UNIX and I'm looking to track user activity. Not just how many people have logged in, but who is accessing what documents in KM. For example, what documents are the most popular and how much use the system is getting.
I was hoping that EP 6 (Unix platform) ran off us some standard web engine (like Apache) and we could just turn web logs on, but from the lack of discussion on SDN, I'm not encouraged.
All I've seen is unofficial link to a Portal Activity Report, which would get us part of the way, but is not full web reporting.

Did you get any answers? We are in the same quandry as the exisitng tracking reports are not sufficient for our needs as our users are used to using more sophisticated tools like livestat.

I am planning on capturing four pairs of matching current and voltage signals. I planned on taking one reading across the channels every fifteen minutes. This reading will need to be 60 data points per period or 3600 readings per second per channel in order for me to recreate the sine signal to determine the phase angle difference between the voltage and current. I was able to get one channel to capture a signal but could not get more than one working at a time. I am also trying to sycronize the data collection so all samples are with respect to each other. The hardware is usually a better differentiation since software can support such a huge range of functionality.
The data rates you are talking about sound reasonable. Are you using the USB or the AT interface?
One other thing to be aware of is that the samples taken will not be simultaneous due to the multiplexed nature of the MIO board measurements. However if you know the channel clock rate(output from one of the VI's), then you can calculate the time difference between each measurement and correct your phase measurements by that amount.

I am using the USB connection. If anyone can help with or has a similar VI for this, it owuld be appreciated so I can work on the larger aspect of the total project.

The easiest VI to use for this acquisition is AI Acquire Waveforms in the data acquisition palette in LabVIEW. This VI allows you to perform a finite acquisition from multiple channels on your DAQ board. As John mentioned the acquisition from individual channels will not be truly simultaneous. There will be a slight time shift from one channel to the next on the order of the maximum acquisition speed of the card, 100kHz or 10 microseconds in your case. By accounting for this 10 microsecond delay between consecutive channels you can properly calculate the phase shift between voltage and current.

SSCM Query to export Microsoft Products installed along with the last logged username and other infos

Dear all, for a SAM Activity, I'm going to Asset a customer of us for the Microsoft products installed on their Workstations
The customer has SSCM and I would like to provide him a Custom Query to "have what we need" , mainly a report with : "Device NetBIOS name" "Last Logged Username" "Operating System" "Installed Microsoft Product"
"last SSCM contact day" .
Finally , if possible , I would like to exclude from the report the installed Patches and MS Updates.
As I'm a beginner with SSCM, has anyone of you already experienced such kind of needs ?

If the built-in report don't give you exact that then clone them and the extra fields.
However I have a feel that your team is looking for the "ridiculous" Software list report as such make sure that you read this blog post.

I Have restore the database to new server and check with new log shipping but its give this same error again, If it is network issue i believe issue need to occur on every database in that server with log shipping configuration

can this happened due to data base or log file corruption, if so how can i check on that to verify the issue
Its not necessary if the issue is with network it would happen every day IMO it basically happens when load on network is high and you transfer log file which is big in size.
As per message database engine was not able to restore log backup and said that you must rebuild log because it did not find out log to be consistent. From here it seems log corruption.
Is it the same log file you restored ? if that is the case since log file was corrupt it would ofcourse give error on wehatever server you restore.
Can you try creating logshipping on new server by taking fresh full and log backup and see if you get issue there as well. I would also say you to raise case with Microsoft and let them tell what is root cause to this problem
