JLI command on PG to check out of service phones

Just wondering, TAC gave me a command to run and it showed the number of phones that are out of service, meaning in our case not associated to PG user. Anyone know of this or have it? I'm searching through all my emails and I'm not sure what case it was in or if it's actually in the case notes either. any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
paul

Thanks, is there a way to export this to a text file? Whatever the command I had was, you just ran it and it created a text file somewhere. If not no big deal.
thanks

  • I have a file checked out in a place I can't get to. I need it checked in. How!

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi JJQuinn,
    Thanks for your post.
What’s the version of your TFS and VS?
The appdev is your development server and build machine? You can log on that machine to check that user and check the file be checkout under which workspace.
If you’re using VS 2013, open Source Control Explorer, right-click on that file and select Find>>Find by Status…, then you can view this file be checked out under which workspace.
You can execute the tf undo command to undo that checked out file like below:
    tf undo $/teamprojectname/…/filename.xx
    /workspace:workspacename  /collection:TeamProjectCollectionUrl

  • Is it possible to check out whole repository from dtr command line tool?

    Hi
I wonder is it possible to check out whole repository from dtr command line tool.
Normally, in NWDS i have to log into SLD, select a component, then select components i want to check out into workspace.
I would like to do some static analysis (PMD, etc) but checkiing out everything manually is really painfull.
Are there any guides how to check out everyhing from the command line (so i would nothave to specify any paths except top level components)?

    Hi,
I don't know of a feature which would allow to check out "everything" from the "root".
checkout Checks the given resource out.
    Syntax checkout/co \[-exclusive| -x] resource \[activity]
Options exclusive|x If specified the resource is exclusively checkout-out.
Arguments resource The resource that should be checked out.
activity The path or name of the open activity that should be used for the checkout, if no activity is specified one is implicitly created.
    Output Variables
    $wr[] Working resources
    $act[] Activities
    Description Checks a resource out.
    Examples
Checkout a file within a given activity
Checks out the file "/ws/wspdir/wsp/dir/a.txt" in the activity "/act/myActivity".
    checkout /ws/wspdir/wsp/dir/a.txt /act/myActivity
    Checkout a file
Checks out the file "/ws/wspdir/wsp/dir/a.txt" in an activity that is implicitly created and returned in the output variable "$act".
    checkout /ws/wspdir/wsp/dir/a.txt
    Checkout a file exclusively
Checks out the file "/ws/wspdir/wsp/dir/a.txt" exclusively in an activity that is implicitly created and returned in the output variable "$act".
    checkout -x /ws/wspdir/wsp/dir/a.txt
Can you please also tell us what kind of statistics you intend to create? Sorry I don't know what PMD abbreviates.

  • Can't check out files from JDEV 9.02.798

    Hi,
We are making a project prototype with JDEV (previously we use another IDE). We have put our files in CVS 1.2. We are able to log in, update and add files to CVS. Unfortunately, we are unable to find a way to check out the files. The only option to do this is via FILE>Source Control>Check out project, but we failed..cant find module name. We also try to right click the files > Source Control>...there is no check out option there. Can you guys help us? There is one option we havent done yet, that is FILE>SOURCE CONTROL>IMPORT PROJECT. What happen if we click this? will it add the project file to CVS? Will it overwrite existing project (assuming we have similar project name with previous..)...Thanks

    Hi,
The first thing I'd recommend is upgrading your JDeveloper installation. 9.0.2.798 is not a production version of JDeveloper (in fact, it's Release Candidate 2 of 9.0.2). There have been two full production releases since then.
To add files to CVS as a module, you should use the Import Project command. This will prompt you to enter a module name. After importing your module, you can check it back out (to a different directory) using the Check Out menu, and specifying the same module name you used in Import Project.
There were some specific issues with JDev 9.0.2 and module recognition in CVS - if you're still having problems, upgrading to JDeveloper 9.0.3 is definitely worthwhile to pick up the latest features and bug fixes.
    Thanks,
    Brian

  • How to cancel a check out?

    Hi,
I have a problem with a file, which seems to be checked out. A check in is not possible because the computer was re-installed with windows.
When I try to synchronize the sources of this java file the following build process tells me the file is write protected, which is true. So I have to manually unprotect the file, but sometimes changes are not really possible. I just checked it out, modified it and checked it in, but after a new sync the changes are lost
Is there a possibility to see which files are checked out? I tried to use the DTRShell but I can't find a suitable command
    Regards, Nils.
Edit: I get the modified file after I remove the write protection. However...

    Hello Nils,
    See if this helps.
    1. Log on to DTR Web UI with Administrator user.
    2. Search for the activity. Even if you dont remember the name search for all the open activities. There is a search report which is integrated with DTR Web UI. i dont have a system right now else would have sent the exact link.
    3. Once you find the relevant activity navigate to it by clicking on the link.
    4. On the top right hand corner there is drop down from there select revert activity.
Be aware that you will lose all the changes done. Hopefully this should work.

  • How to handle check-out files of users that are no longer with the company?

We have cases that files were checked out and modified, but the engineers left before they check-in the files. What's the right way to handle such cases? Does the project admin have right to check-in for the engineers? How can we make another person to
    check the files in?

    Hi Peter,
    Thanks for your post.
Do you want check-in that files within the changes which that left engineer created to TFS Server? If yes, you need logon that engineer’s client using his account, then get modified files on this client and perform check-in.
If you don’t need that changes which modified by that left engineer, just the check-out files on this client caused other users cannot work on that files, you can ask the team project admin user to perform
tf undo command on that files to resolve this checked-out issue.
For example, the files be checked-out under workspace1, so execute this command “tf undo $/xx/xx(file path)
    /collection:collectionURL /workspace:workspace1 /recursive” to undo it

  • Check-out Exclusive and Check-out Nonexclusive

    Hi,
When we check out a record exclusively or non-exclusively why is the 'Modify Join Permissions' option active(not disabled).According to my understanding,if we make check-out non-exclusive, without modifying join permission, all the other users must be able to 'Join checkout'.If it is exclusive we have to assign user and role who can Join Checkout it.Then why is the 'Modify Join Permission' option coming for non-exclusive checkout also.Apart from my understanding is there any other difference between the two. Please help me in clarifying this.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Preethi

    Hi,
    (1) Exclusive, which grants join permissions to no other roles or users (by default, no other users can join the checkout); and
    (2) Nonexclusive, which grants join permissions to the Everyone role (by default, all users can join the checkout).
Instead of checking in the duplicate record, the owner can use the Roll Backcommand to delete the duplicate and abandon changes.
You can use the All Versions command to display both versions (originals and duplicates) of all checked out records. This is the only way for other users to join the check out of new records.
You can use role-based privileges to decide whether owners and/or non-owners are permitted to check in, roll back, or modify join permissions of checked out records.

  • SharePoint and FrameMaker 10 CMS/Integration - Checked Out Files Stuck

    Hello,
I originally set up the CMS connection to my SharePoint through FrameMaker using the domain name as a part of the user name (as suggested in a previous post), but have still run into this same issue discussed in that post, (unalterably locked files), and have been completely unable to resolve it.
When I check out a file, it gets "stuck" in that checked-out/locked state, and I'm unable to edit, check in, or discard my check out. The only thing I'm still able to do is view the files as "Open (Read only)," and delete the files.
I've even tried to access the files through the SharePoint site itself (as well as through SharePoint Workspace) in an attempt to check the files back in, but this command only returns an error about the files being checked out to a local draft, or one claiming the file may not even be checked out in the first place, etc. The only thing I seem to be able to do is delete the files from the server.
Thus far, I've been completely unable to use this tool.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm at a loss.
    Thank you,
    Carolyn

    Hello Vimal -
Thanks so much for your reply.
The login name that I used to connect to the SharePoint repository is in the format DomanName\EmployeeNumber. However, in the "Modified By" field of the Properties dialog, my full name is listed (last name, first name). Attempting to log in with the credentials DomainName\Full Name (as listed in the properties dialog) results in an error message reading: "The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized".
Working outside of FrameMaker's CMS, i am indeed able to upload, check out, edit, and check in files successfully. The problem, however, with working with the files from outside of FrameMaker itself, is that SharePoint doesn't understand file dependencies upon upload. So, when I open a checked out *.book file from the server, it cannot locate the individual (also checked out) chapter *.fm files necessary to edit the document - which means I can only work with these files through FrameMaker. And, it's only within FrameMaker's CMS that I'm running into an inability to check documents back in or edit them. Bummer...
Thanks again for responding. Any ideas welcome!
    Carolyn

  • Synchronization versus check-in versus check-out

I have read manuals , the "help" files and continue to be somewhat confused. I just now "synchronized" my files in CS3 after having a developer help me to get my website started. In the process I saw "put" (where are they being put?) but also when I create a new web page I see the message "check-in" files being process and then when I complete my page I have been "checking in". Please give guidelines:  now that I am "on my own" do I need to both "check-in" and "synchronize"?  The terminology  is confusing.  Thank you for your help   Rosalyn

The synchronization command will make sure that the same files on the public server are the same as those on your local computer.  When you see the put command, that is when the file is put from your computer onto the server where your website is accessed by people on the internet.
The check-in/check-out features are more for if you have a team of developers who are actively working on the same site.  What this will do is allow for other developers to see that someone else is editing a file and prevent them from editing the file at the same time.  So the files are checked out and checked back in.

  • CVS files checked out have execute bit cleared?

    Greetings,
I just checked out my build tree, which includes some scripts.
Those scripts have their execute bit cleared.
If I remove those files and do a cvs update in that dir manually, the scripts are checked out with execute bit set.
    Anyone else run into this?
    How can this be fixed?

checkout via cvs on command line works fine.
Our cvs doesn't recognize the PreservePermissions keyword when put in the config file.
Which version of cvs are you using? 1.11.x or 1.12.x?

  • Check-out button is not disable after the check out request from the same user

    HI all,
I want to use check out/ in procedure in solution manager along with email notification. For that, I have maintained required settings and maintenance project for the intended solution. I want to implement a team leader- manger hiearchy for any changes to the solution. When a team member requests for the check out for any process scenario/ step, the status goes to check out requested. But, the problem is, check-out button is not disable and same user can do the check out which I want to restrict. The check out can be done only by the project manger. I guess, this is related to authorization roles for both team member and manger. But I am not able to find out. Please help me to have the authorization roles for this.
    Thanks,
    Rutvik Upadhyay.

Why not putting a af:fileDownloadActionListener inside the command button. In the bean you need an method like
public void exportExcel(FacesContext aFacesContext, OutputStream aOutputStream)
} You can use the output stream and when you finished just flush it. Don't close the stream and don't complete the response.

  • CVS Checking Out Module

    Hi,
How can I check out files in CVS that aren't at the highest level of the CVS tree? In this case, I don't want everything in the module's path, but only want a module that's down the tree.
It seems the only way to get files from CVS is to use the wizard?
How annoying. Right now I have to go to WinCVS, and get the exact module I want instead of the whole tree.
    Thanks,
    Joe

In the Check Out Module dialog, you just specify a path in the "Module Name" field. This argument is passed straight through to the cvs checkout command.
E.g. if you just wanted to check out the subdirectory src/META-INF of the module mytool, you'd specify:
    mytool/src/META-INF
    in the Module Name field.
Alternatively, you can select a subdirectory directly from the CVS Navigator and use checkout without having to type in a path.
You didn't mention which version of JDeveloper you're using, I'm assuming 10.1.3 above.
    Thanks,
    Brian

  • After userA check out a page, edit the page and save, Sharepoint prompt userA have checked out the page

In one of site collection at our SP2013 farm, we have "SharePoint Server Publishing" site feature and "SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure" site collection feature activated.
One of user (UserA) create a page in a page library. The new page is marked as "checked out by UserA". It is fine.
Then UserA open the page -> edit page -> key in something and "save". Then the page prompt him "The file Pages/subfolder/test001.aspx has been modified by i:0#.w|test\userA on 8Aug2014 xx:xx:xx" and ask him to choose "Leave
this page" or "say at this page".  The date time is exactly the time he was editing the page.
Whatever he choose will save the page and return to "View" mode (non-edit mode).
It is not the only problem. When userA want to edit the same page again and save, it prompt him that "The page could not be saved because your changes conflict with recent changes made by another user. If you continue, your changes will be lost."!
When userA choose continue or "check out". Follow screen show up:
What can we do? In summary, userA cannot edit a page because userA have checked out! We have tried for different users have exactly same issue.

We are having the same problem, the one thing we have found is if we use the Save Icon on the top right hand side of the page in the ribbon (next to follow), that Save works just fine.  What is causing the issue is when trying to use the Save Icon on
the left hand side of the ribbon that has the dropdown options to 'Save', 'Save and Keep Editing' or 'Stop Editing'.  It doesn't matter if you just click on the main Icon or choose any of the dropdown options, they all cause issues with the pages.
    Thoughts?
