JMS Drivers for PI7.1

Right now we are on XI3.0 and using JMS Version 6.40.0 (which I can see in my Visual Admin).
Soon we will be upgrading to PI7.1 So I need to know if the existing JMS drivers will support to our new PI7.1 or do we have to upgrade our MQ as well?
Also can anyone please tell me the version of JMS drivers if they are using JMS with PI7.1 system.

Hi Sarveesh,
I think it would work in the new versions of PI.
Refer the below blogs which may help you regarding JMS adapter:

  • Problem with SDA Deployment for JMS drivers for Tibco EMS

    Hi,
I was trying to deploy the latest JMS driver files for TIBCO EMS 6.0.1.
I  have followed all the procedure that was given in the note 1138877 and also referred the following article
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/00b4a020-4ae6-2c10-5a95-fed4ad9a4b60?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true and followed the step given in that.
    But got the following error
    Details Message(s):
    Messages for component sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.lib:
Deployment of archive /usr/SAP/trans/<XID>/EPS/in/..>/com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda for component sap.com/com.sap.aii.adapter.lib aborted
Detailed Message : 1. Required file [tibcrypt.jar] not found in SDA [/usr/SAP/trans/<XID>/EPS/in/..>/com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda]

As per the error message it is mentioning about a missing jar file, but I have added all the required jar file in the sda and updated the same in the provider.xml.
So just wanted to make sure if I have missed anything.
Other thing what i wanted to mention here is, while adding the jar file to the default com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda file, there was a jar file named "com.sap.aii.adapter.lib_api.jar", I deleted this and added the updated Jar files for the EMS 6.0.1 drivers, Is this correct or do we need to  have this com.sap.aii.adapter.lib_api.jar file as well in addition to the required driver files.
Please let me know your thoughts and if I have missed anything.
    Thanks for the help

    Selvam,
It was long time before I did.. I guess I did added   com.sap.aii.adapter.lib_api.jar file as well in addition to the required driver files.

  • Implementing  snote #  746701 for Installing JMS drivers in PI 7.1

    Hi all,
We have an issue with JMS adapter and we found an snote # 747601 which is close to our problem.
    The snotes have  below information.
" You must install the JMS libraries of MQSeries on the SAP J2EE server so that the XI JMS adapter can address MQSeries. For this purpose, Support Package 0 for XI 3.0 contains the aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda (releases 3.0/7.0) or com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda (releases 7.1) SDA file to which you have to add the MQSeries-specific files. In addition, you must extend the server/provider.xml deployment descriptor in the relevant way. Refer to Chapter 9.1 of the XI 3.0 Configuration Guide for more information.
My question is how  we  will get the .sda file which was given in SAP notes, is it from  the suport package download ? i tried from that and i did n't found any thing with this .SDA.
I raised the message  with SAP, waiting for there response.
We are on PI 7.1  with windows 2005 server and Sqlserver 2008.
    Thanks,
    Subhash.G

    Hello Subhash
See point 4 of the help.sap.com link [Providing External Drivers for the JDBC and JMS Adapters|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/33/e6fb40f17af66fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm]. Below is the extract:
    4.      Add all JARs (without path information) that you have defined in provider.xml to com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda.
You find com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda in directory DATA_UNITS\JAVA_J2EE_OSINDEP_J2EE_INST on your SAP NetWeaver 7.10 PI Java installation DVD.
Re: Path to com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda: PI 7.1 - same question asked previously in this thread

Here is how this got resolved:
We added drivers for MQ6 in the sda file.
Then isntalled MQ client on the XI server (I am not sure why we need to do this).
Then in the Communication Channel provided the User ID and PAssword for the MQ Server box (the windows log in information). It took us a while (a couple fo weeks) to find this out.
I am not sure if this is the real solution, but it is working fine for us now.
So thoguht of posting this here.
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar

not sure about this but i guess Craig is a better person to let you know !!!

  • Error in  JMS Adapter  for MQ series

We have configured a JMS Adpater to connect to  MQ Serries queue manager running on our local server. The XI Server is a remote server where JMS adapter is deployed.
Upon deployment we see following string in JMS adapter log -
    Sender channel. Details: com.ibm.mq.jms.MQQueueConnectionFactory
And the status of Adpater is RED.
The Adpater is configured in sender mode.
We have created a local queue in Queme Manger and a Server Connectio  channel which is being used in adpater configuration.
Please suggest what could be the missing link here.
Appreciate if you can provide us link s to any docuemtn which details the steps to configure an MQ JMS adapter.
    Thanks,

    Hi Garima,
    Please check the following:
    1. Add dhbcore.jar also to aii_af_jmsproviderlib.sda and deploy it.
    2. Check the existence of your JMS drivers.
    3. Check the following link and Install the drivers as the way it is mentioned in the guide 'How To Install And Configure External Drivers For JDBC & JMS'

  • JDBC drivers for MSSQL 7.0

    Hi,
We have installed JDBC drivers for MSSQL by following guide "how to install and configure a JMS and JDBC adapter" and they are "msutil.jar, mssqlserver.jar, msbase.jar". Our platform is NETweaver 2004s PI 7.0 on UNIX and Oracle.
The interfaces are working fine when we are sending data to MSSQL 2000, but when we are sending data to MSSQL 7.0, we are getting errors incompatible drivers.
Are there seperate drivers MSSQL 7.0 or we need to have different set of drives. Checked Note 639702 and as per note we should be able to find drivers installed on system at
    - (NetWeaver 2004s:)
    usr\sap\<SAPSID>\SYS\exe\<NUC|UC>\Platform\mssjdbc
I did not find the 'Platform' in my system at the above mentioned path.
Can anyone help us with this issue.
    Thank You,
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen,
As I know, there is no JDBC driver MSSQL 7.0, so there is no direct way to get access to it.
But there is another way to do it if you have access to a MSSQL 2000 or above server.
In MSSQL 2000 you can create a linked server to the MSSQL 7.0, and then you can use XI to get access to MSSQL 7.0 tables.

  • Can't find drivers for ipod nano 8GB for windows vista HELP

I am trying to find the drivers for my ipod nano 8GB. I am running Windows Vista on my laptop. I have tried absolutely everything listed on this webpage and others. I have removed itunes and reinstalled it and still nothing. I downloaded usbstor.sys and usbstor.inf. I have gone into my computer and clicked on the ! next to my ipod in file manager and have gotten nowhere! This has been 5 days of frustration. I don't understand why apple would not just SUPPLY the software for the nano. I am beyond frustrated now. Can someone please help...

Something is going on with your Nano if Vista doesn't see it anymore. Did you use device manager and try to uninstall your Nano? Perhaps this will work. Once uninstalled, the next time you plug it in, Vista will see the Nano as a new device and install the proper USB drivers.
I'm not on my Vista computer right now...but here's an article to help you find device manager in Vista: http://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=5183

  • HP LaserJet P2035n Drivers for 64bit XP

So I tried to use the HP email and live chat support but neither worked because they said my p/n or s/n were invalid and I am pulling them off the printer itself.  The issue I am having is with a HP LaserJet P2035N.  It is hooked to the network and the driver for xp work the PLC5 ones.  I have one computer that is running XP 64 bit and when I go to download the drivers for it there are no network driver for the printer only local drivers.  I called the 1800 number and they gave me a website to go to that just redirected back to where I was.  Any advice?

The model number HP LaserJet P2035N.

  • Anybody found Vista x64 drivers for nVidia GeForce 8600M GT (Macbook Pro)?

These guys at Apple are launching 64-bit Leopard and I still cannot find 64-bit graphics drivers for my laptop under Vista. It makes me sick. Their Boot Camp 1.4 vesion contains only 32-bit drivers.
It's the laptop manufacturer (Apple company) who are responsible for providing me with drivers, not the graphics card manufacturer (nVidia).
I have been waiting for 5 months already and will wait for another 1-2 months and if the drivers don't appear I'm going to sell the laptop because I simply cannot watch DVDs, I cannot play games without properly installed grahics card.
If you have the drivers, please let me know.
    Best regards.

    anyway
    try -> http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
my vista 32bit works with the drivers from this page.
but u need to read the "Quickstart Guide" before you try installing the drivers
