JMS set additional properties

I am using jms adapter and I would like to set additional jms properties.  I've checked "Set Additional Properties or replace default settings" in my comm channell and I've entered certain key/value combinations.  Unfortunately it does not work.
Has anyone run into this problem.  Is there a solution.
We are on SP 16.
Thanks
David

David,
<b>"additional jms properties"</b>
do you mean JMS headers specific to your application?
In that case,check <b>Correlation Settings</b> for the reciever adapter and the
Set JMSProperty To
Value the JMS property
part of it.

  • Setting additional JMS message properties

    Hi ALL,
    I have a requirement where I need to create an adapter module to set additional message property for JMS.
    The property name has to be Key_String specifically.
    I am not sure whether to specify this name in the code written for the module or in the channel configuration.
    Please help.

    You can use adapter specific message attributes for this.

  • JMS Adapter - Set Additional JMS Parameters or Replace Default Settings

    Hi colleagues,
    We are using PI/XI 7.0 (SP 12).
    In trying to set up a Communication Channel using JMS Adapter to connect to Oracle AQ, I do not see the checkbox "Set Additional JMS Parameters or Replace Default Settings" , nor is the table for the parameters / value visible.
    We have deployed the driver file as described in the How-to- guide: How To Install and Configure External Drivers for JDBC & JMS Adapters
    [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f04ce027-934d-2a10-5a8f-fa0b1ed4d88f?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true]
    In setting up the Communication Channel so far:
    Type: Sender
    Transport Protocol: Access JMS Provider Generically
    Message Protocol:  JMS 1.x
    Adapter Engine:      Integration Server
    After this I expect to see the checkbox  "Set Additional JMS Parameters or Replace Default Settings", but it is not there.
    Therefore I am not able to select it in order to enter parameters like:
    JMS.QueueConnectionFactoryImpl.classname
    JMS.QueueConnectionFactoryImpl.method.setHostName
    JMS.QueueImpl.classname
    JMS.QueueImpl.constructor.... etc
    Can someone please share if this because we are on too low SP or do we need to do something additional before it becomes visible?  Is this a feature that only became available as of PI/XI 7.0 SP 13 or 14 ?
    I checked both Sender and Receiver channel type, and it does not appear for both.
    Thanks & Cheers,
    Jodie

    Hi experts,
    We are using PI 7.1 and I've set up a communication Channel using JMS Adapter to send
    messages to a Sonic MQ queue.
    I need to send some values as JMS parameters, two of which are constants and two are values
    from the Sender message. I tried defining and setting up the parameters with constants values
    in the Communication Channel under the Advanced tab by selecting the check-box
    set Adapter-specific Message Attributes as follows:
    Name     TYPE
    ContentType     String
    ReturnValue     boolean
    Name     VAlue
    Contenttype     CompanyCode
    ReturnValute     true
    This however lead to an error in the Adapter Engine (RWB).
    My problem is:
    1. Can anyone please instruct me as to how to go about defining and setting up
       additional JMS parameters?
    2. How to go about defining/setting up variables that will get their values from
       the sender message?
    Thanks & Cheers,
    Joe

  • How do I set System properties within WL6.0?

    I am setting WL6.0 up to have a startup class, but this class needs to

    needs these system properties to continue.

    Correct on all points. The one advantage of doing this in java is that you can more easily do more
    complex things like accessing configuration information from a remote data store (like a database).
    Dimitri Rakitine wrote:
    These are not needed if you simply replace java ...lots of options... weblogic.Server with

    import java.util.Properties;

    Properties props = System.getProperties();
    props.put("myProperty", "myValue");

    props.put("weblogic.Name", "myserver");
    props.put("java.security.policy",
    "E:\\bea\\wlserver6.0\\lib\\weblogic.policy");
    System.setProperties(props);
    weblogic.Server.main(args);
    Make sure you run this from E:\bea\wlserver6.0., as it tries to read config.xml
    config\[your-domain-name] from this

    set  .How do i do that?

    Click Library settings on the ribbon, and within that click the Document Set Content Type.
    The next page you'll see has an option called Document Set Settings.
    Here you can specify properties for the document set itself, plus which are inherited by the items in the document set.
    If you want items to have properties independent of the document set, add those in the library settings page.
    If you want to change what is displayed, change the Views for the library or those views used by the document set.

  • Unable to set template properties

    I have a site which is based off of a responsive design (HTML5/CSS3/jQuery). I've setup a nice template for our Contribute users however I get the "Unable to set template properties" error when I would try to enter the template properties. Additionally, repeating regions don't work at all. No error, nothing. They work great with Dreamweaver, but not Contribute.
    I previously had this issue with an older (non-responsive) site which was based off of a Dreamweaver CS5.5 built in template. However with that site, I would get the following error when trying to work with a repeating region, "You can't add items to repeating regions because the draft's parent template is missing or not available to users in your role. Please contact the website administrator." I was able to fix this with the following Contribute 6.5 settings.
    Users can ONLY be able to create new pages from copies of select pages. I just made blank versions of the templates I wanted people to use, and just saved them in the /Templates directory.
    Be sure creating new pages from site templates is turned OFF.
    Be sure creating new pages from content types is turned OFF.
    This is not the case with the newer site. I've tried both transitional and compatibility modes in the Contribute site settings but still nothing.
    Anyone experiencing this or have any fix ideas?

    Update:
    Looks like I'm going to have to settle on not using nested templates. I gave it a try with on a page from a single un-nested template and both template properties and repeating regions worked.
    So now I'll be including all the global code via PHP includes rather than a master Dreamweaver template. Not sure how that will effect broken link reports or global link updates but it looks like it's the only solution for now.

  • Additional properties - multiple changes of a field

    Hello,
    I am creating a custom component based on a Google Maps component which shows circles of different colors on a map. My idea is to use the Additional Properties window to modify the colors of circles that I have already displayed.
    I created a small additional properties sheet in order to change the colors of my circles, which works great in design studio as shown in the pictures below. Note: initially, all circles were red.
    In the first image, the color for the circle over Lausanne is changed to blue; and in the second the color for the circle over Sion is changed to black.
    In the component, both changes are visible, however once I execute it in a browser only the last change is applied, as shown below.
    My question is the following: is there a way to save multiple changes of a same field in the additional properties window? I would like to avoid having multiple identical forms for each circle if possible.
    Any insight on how I could approach this problem would be appreciated. I have tried several different approaches such as for example pushing all modifications into an array, without any luck.
    Thank you very much for your help!
    Michael

    Unfortunately I have not figured out how to get it to work. I implemented the following getter/setter in my component.js:
    this.circleColors = function(value) {
           if (value === undefined) {
                return JSON.stringify(myCircleColors);
           else {
                 if (value != "") myCircleColors = JSON.parse(value);
                 return this;
    where myCircleColors is an internal array.
    Also, I added a circleColors property (type String) in my .xml file, and I still have the same issue as earlier: only the last modification to the array is kept.
    Is this code correct, or did I missunderstand your explanation?
    Note: the method is called when a modification is done to a color field in the additional properties window

  • How to set CORS properties for BLOB Storage using node?

    Hi - I just got started with Azure using a Node-based web site and mobile services.
    I am following various documentation in order to provide an API for users to upload images via a time-restricted SAS for the BLOB Storage.
    In order to upload my image, I need to set the CORS configuration for the BLOB Storage. Unfortunately this cannot be done via the management portal.
    I'm unclear as to how to accomplish this. I'm considering using the startup.js file in my mobile service to make a post request to the BLOB Storage REST API:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/hh452235.aspx
    Are there appropriate methods in the Node SDK to make this easier, especially the signing part?
    What is the recommended way for setting CORS properties for the BLOB Storage via Node?
    Thanks for your help
    Stefan

    Unfortunately Node SDK does not support CORS functionality yet. Your option would be to write code which consumes the REST API for setting CORS. Not sure if it helps but there's a free tool out there written by my company which you can use to set CORS
    on your storage account. More information about this tool can be found here:

  • Setting portlet properties on different pages

    Hello,
    New to Personalization so I apologize if this is obvious.
    Is there a way to have the same portlet available on multiple
    pages and allow a user to set different properties in a profile
    based on the page the portlet is in? For example, if portlet X
    is available on page A and page B and the edit tab allows the
    user to set value Val1 in a property, is there a way to qualify
    the Val1 property with a namespace so that it is associated with
    the page it is on? Currently if I have some properties defined
    in a profile and I set those profile values in an edit page
    and get them in the top portlet, then those same profile values
    will be associated with that portlet on all pages. That is with
    using the um:getProperty tag. Is there some way through roles
    to namespace profile values based on the page the portlet is on?
    Thanks,
    Curt

    Curt,
    Sure you can.
    Just define separate user property sets and store the information based on
    the page the user is on.
    You can easily determine the page id using portal API (for example look at
    the jsp which renders the page tabs in the framework directory).

  • How do I set file properties (win XP) ?

    Does anyone know how to set/modify a windows file properties inside Labview ? For exemple : change the author, the comment... etc.
    Thank you !
    J.K.

    Hello,
    It is not possible with advanced file I/O LabVIEW VIs.
    There is a possible workaround by using low level Windows functions in a dll.
    Perhaps the easier would be to set your properties at the top of your file.

  • Labels pointing to pie slices with lines (or how 2 set chart properties in code behind)

    I want to be able to create lines outside of my pie chart with labels and have those lines drawn to connect to the pie chart.  I saw that this can be done in code behind in the following thread:
    MSDN thread on lines to pie slices
    But my problem is I never declared an instance of my chart when I am using my code behind.  My code that makes the reports visible is basically (but not completely) the following:
    ReportDataSet.Tables.Add(ReportDataTable)
    ReportViewer.Visible = True
    Dim ReportDataSource As ReportDataSource = New ReportDataSource("ReportDataSource", ReportDataSet.Tables(0))
    ReportViewer.LocalReport.ReportPath = ReportToDisplay.RDLCFileName
    ReportViewer.LocalReport.DataSources.Clear()
    ReportViewer.LocalReport.DataSources.Add(ReportDataSource)
    ReportDataSource.Name = ReportToDisplay.DataSetName
    ReportViewer.DataBind()
    ReportViewer.LocalReport.Refresh()
    ReportViewer.ShowReportBody = True
    ReportViewer.Width = RVWidth
    ReportViewer.Height = RVHeight
    So how do I set chart properties for my report given the above code?  As long as I can set my chart properties with the above code, I should be able to get this to work given the above thread and the link to the Label-Outside-of-Pie and Line-Color properties
    (or whatever) info on Microsoft's info page

    Hello,
    Based on your description, you want to design a
    pie chart with outside lables and pie line inside a .rdlc report. If so, you can add the Chart report item into the report after open a client report definition (.rdlc) file in graphical design mode. And then Set the
    PieLabelStyle property and PieLineColor property. Please refer to the following screen shot:
    The link your post above it about the
    Chart Web server control. As pre my undersntand, you cannot reference a Web server control inside .rdlc file.

  • Dreamweaver Help | Set text properties in the Property inspector

    This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/set-text-properties-property-inspector.html

    The note at the bottom of the first section (About formatting text (CSS versus HTML)) says -
    "You can combine CSS and HTML 3.2 formatting within the same page. Formatting is applied in a hierarchical manner: HTML 3.2 formatting overrides formatting applied by external CSS style sheets, and CSS embedded in a document overrides external CSS."
    Please be aware that embedded CSS will ONLY override external CSS if the external CSS link is closer to the  tag than the embedded CSS (i.e., it comes earlier in the flow of the document).  If the embedded CSS comes first in the flow of the document, it will be overridden by the external CSS instead.

  • Setting MCF Properties in ESB RS

    Hi,
    Earlier I found out how to set MCF properties in BPEL for the FTP adapter to FTP to a given host that is determined dynamically on runtime. Is the same possible for ESB? I found out how to set header variable properties like filename and directory using the setheader xpath function in the xslt. But what would be the function/xpath expression for the mcf properties?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Martien

    Hi James,
    The security risk is only if you have the MCF properties in the wsdl populated with real-live data, right? I would not use the values set as default in the wsdl, they could have un-real, dummy values. What I want to do is to have a scheduler (in our case Appworx) to maintain the destination values. And call our processes with the correct endpoint values. That way SoaSuite need not know what the end points are and also I do not have to have an FTP end point for each destination.
    So if I have one FTP endpoint that creates a certain file in a certain format I could reuse that by simply let it be called for another host,port,username,password by the scheduler.

  • OMB: unable to set SQLLoader properties in a Mapping (TRAILING_NULLCOLS...)

    Hello,
    I've created a Mapping from a Flatfile to a table.
    Since SQL-Loader is used I have to set several properties (TRALING_NULLCOLS, FILELOCATION, etc)
    However, every property I try to set fails by the same error:
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'MAP_DIM_UNIT_TEST' \
          SET PROPERTIES (TRAILING_NULLCOLS) VALUES ('true')
    --> OMB02902: Error setting property TRAILING_NULLCOLS of MAP_DIM_UNIT_TEST: MMM1034: Property TRAILING_NULLCOLS does not exist.Reading and setting these properties on Mappings created by the Design Center was no problem.
    What am I missing?
    When configuring a Mapping in the Design Center I have to create the "SQL Loader Data Files".
    Maybe that's got something to do with it. I have no idea how to do that with OMBPlus.
    Any clue?
    Regards
    uhuebner

    Hi
    You should set the GENERATION LANGUAGE property to SQLLOADER for the map. The property set is different depending on the type of the map, the UI does some tricks I think and sets up, but the API does not (it does at certain points like generation/validation).
    Here are some other snippets you will find useful.....
    1. To add a source data file to a mapping:
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'LOAD_LOCATIONS' ADD SOURCE_DATA_FILE 'LOCATIONS_APAC'
    2. To define the discard file info
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'LOAD_LOCATIONS' MODIFY SOURCE_DATA_FILE 'LOCATIONS_APAC' SET PROPERTIES (DISCARD_FILE_LOCATION,DISCARD_FILE_NAME) VALUES ('APAC_FILE_STG_LOC', 'apac_discard.txt')
    3. To define the data file info
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'LOAD_LOCATIONS' MODIFY SOURCE_DATA_FILE 'LOCATIONS_APAC' SET PROPERTIES (DATA_FILE_LOCATION, DATA_FILE_NAME) VALUES ('APAC_FILE_STG_LOC', 'apac_data.txt')
    4. To define the bad file info
    OMBALTER MAPPING 'LOAD_LOCATIONS' MODIFY SOURCE_DATA_FILE 'LOCATIONS_APAC' SET PROPERTIES (BAD_FILE_LOCATION,BAD_FILE_NAME) VALUES ('APAC_FILE_STG_LOC', 'apac_bad.txt')
    5 To query the files it is not obvious (or consistent with other commands)...
    OMBRETRIEVE MAPPING 'SR_AGS_LDR' GET SOURCE_DATA_FILE
    Notice the 'GET SOURCE_DATA_FILE' is singular even though it possibly return a list (in most other commands some form of the plural is used ie. GET TABLE OPERATORS).
