JNI - make dll (fatal error LNK1181)
I make a simple jni program ( it just print "Hello World" )
but, when I compile this program I got a LINK error

using VC++6.0?
I got the same problem when trying out the tutorial, check MSDN library on this error, in the C++ source code, you should change all pointers refering to java to how MSDN tells you is microsoft standard, the tutorial c code, maybe works correctly with other compilers or older versions of VC++ compilers.
unfortunatly I lost my source code, only having the .dll file left otherwise I could show you

Searchable thread archive <URL:http://pinehurst.sageit.com/listarchive/>ex_rep_chan is dependent on the db library, which judging by your printout, has not finished building. Which is odd, since Visual Studio is usually smarter about dependencies. Just rebuild ex_rep_chan and you should be fine.

The OLDNAMES.LIB file should be in your Visual C++ library directory (eg c:\Program Files\DevStudio\VC\lib). If you reread TechNote 11431it explains how to set up your LIB environment variable so that the linker can find the appropriate files.

I-tunes and Quicktime make a fatal error on Vista ?!
Hi i'm italian ... i don't write a good english but i try too explain my problem... i have a laptop HP pavilion dv6000 with windows vista... i 2 week ago buy a ipod touch 2g ... i try to install itunes ... i download it from apple.it. during the installation windows say me quicktime can be install. i don't remember the code. but i try again and the installation finish all correct. but yet when i open or connect my ipod on my pc... windows say itunes "a problem has been taken place that prevents the corrected operation of the program. if it is had a solution, it will come closed the program and envoy an automatic notification." and this message is the similar when i open quicktime! i try to install the old version of quicktime or itunes but it is similar! the version install on my pc is the 8.0.1 my pc is a 32 bit. PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! thank's and sorry for the bad english!!!
THe K Lite codec pack is a well know cause of QUicktime problems.
After you uninstall it, you maust reinsatll Quicktime as follows:
Then download the version of Quickime that does not include iTunes, this is not the default option:

Now Remove Quicktime using the method for Quicktime in this article (just Quicktime):

When you come to your C:\Windows\system32\ folder you can delete any file or folder with Quicktime in the name.
Restart you computer
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check if it starts.
If it does you are in a position to find out if iTunes is OK.

Read this thread, I guess this issue may because the VS uses the wrong version cl.exe. Please try the solution in above thread and remember to make a backup.

I want to ignore NiFieldPoint71D.lib from using project setting(Linker->Input->ignore Specific Library ) but still it is showing same error.
In the project Setting I am done following setting:

Acrobat fatal error: failed to load core dll

I have a problem with acrobat reader on my laptop.
My OS is Vista Home Premium.
I had Master collection CS4 installed.
When starting up acrobat reader; i got following error:

I simultaneously had a problem with Dreamweaver.
I think all this is caused by an Side By Side configuration issue.
I've tried to do following steps:
-redistibrutable 2008 c++ package geinstall
-system recoverage tool
-reinstall cs4 master collection
-uninstall master collection, clean up, install reeware acrobat reader
-uninstall acrobat reader, ccleaner register issues resolver , also older than 24 uur , reboot, install acrobat reader freeware
-revo uninstall tool to remove acrobat
none of the above actions were successful.
What could u suggest or give as a solution.
Atm i'm using an altarnative pdf-reader.
But as i bought the master collection,
i'd rather have my adobe acrobat reader pro and dreamweaver working.

I am sorry, I do not have an answer just a similar problem.
I am no expert, but all these manifest files are to ensure that different developers can ensure that the appropriate versions of common libraries are used by particular versions of their software.
Deatils are below. The original problem was a corrupted manifest file, probably due to a disk error. This resulted in several programs failing to run. In particular I was unable to access backup on my Windows Home Server. From the logs I was able to identify the manifest file in error and located a copy of a file with the same name on another of my computers. Using notepad I then changed the file causing the problem to match the file on the other computer.
This appeared to resolve all my problems.
When the Acrobat Reader updated itself, however, the"failed to load core DLL" message appeared. Simply uninstalling all adobe programs and re-installing makes no difference.
If you have the solution please post.
If not, I will continue to research this problem.

I have a stream in directshow with a SampleGrabberFilter for the video and another for the audio. I'm using the code of https://jmds.dev.java.net/ for implementing the layer directchow.
After, I'm trying to create a datasource for JMF with the example "Generating Live Audio/Video Data [Custom DataSource]"

My skype program won't open or load and I get fatal error message ' dxva2.dll what must I do?

Fatal Error: Failed to load library 'pdh.dll.'
When I double click on the Skype icon, a dialogue box pops up. It says "Fatal Error" at the top, and inside, it says, "Failed to load library 'pdh.dll.'" I cannot get Skype to open at all.
I had used Skype with no problems the day before, and I didn't do anything to any files or anything. I don't think.
I have restarted my computer, un-installed and reinstalled Skype, and went into %appdata% and renamed the Skype folder, tried to open Skype, then renamed the folder back again. None of this worked.
I ran a Malware scan and it came back clean. I am currently running a virus scan.
Can anyone help me?

Fatal error - Failed to install core dll Abobe reader 9.2
I have tried to update to the newest version of Abode reader and when I try to start the program I get a fatal error "failed to install core dll". I downloaded the newest version on another computer and it works fine so I copied the installation folder on to a CD and tried installing it again on the other computer and still get the error. Does anyone know how to fix this? I cannot open any PDF's now without the software.
