Joikuspot free error

I appear to be having a problem with Joikuspot wi fi free edition 3.2, I can't start it as I get a pop-up saying connection failed but the connection seems active & using 3.5G network, if I switch on Wi Fi it asks if I wish to overwrite the wi fi connection (my wi fi router settings) which is already on there, I don't wish to do that. My question is whether I do have a problem &, if so how to fix it.
E7 running symbian Belle.

Hello,
I want to get a tablet. Thinking of Android...but I tried to use my N8 with Joikuspot free at an electronics store with a bunch of tablets. All worked except for Android devices, Ipads and some other no name brands with proprietary OS tablets found it and it worked. All laptops also found it. But no Android tablets or phones in the area detected it.
One Android device foun it (Jellybean) but would not connect.
I read that Android does not support Ad Hoc connections which Joikuspot provides.
I tried some Android forums, but they either had a Bluetooth solution (too slow) or they said try the Nokia forums.
Besides Joikuspot - any other Wifi hotspot apps? Would Joiku Spot full work - anyone have it and try it with and Android device?
Anyone have suggestions?

It does seem to be possible to make android work with ad-hoc wifi. Search for "android ad-hoc wifi" - but it does seem to carry quite a highrisk of causing problems. I could try it out on my tablet, but it is unstable enough as it is so I don't want to risk making it even worse.
I wish it was possible to install Symbian onto my android tablet, but failing that I think I will soon be jumping ship to apple - influenced somewhat by the idea of a display that will do the 808 pictures justice.

I am trying to configure my e-reader using my Nokia 808 and Joikuspot free app. The network is detected by my e-reader but it asks for a password for further access. As far as I understand, this version of Joikuspot is not password protected and is open. Also, the lumia phones do not detect this network as well.
Any pointers would be great.

30 minutes free error

I just switched radio stations and the first thing that popped up was a 30 minutes free ad. The station played ONE song then went immediately to commercials. I'm thinking this is a bug.

Also, it appears that advertisement is stuck on my lock screen and is not changing with the songs.

CS5 Mac - memory error "double free"

I ported out InDesign Plugin from CS4 to CS5 and now I have an error "malloc: *** error for object .....: double free" in the mac version.
I started porting to CS5 with the Windows version, I made a new project file with dollyxs and added all source code files and libraries. I had to make a few changes in the code, but I had a working version for Windows very fast.
After that I copied the source files to the Mac, created a new project for Xcode and added the source files. I can compile and link, but after starting I have this 'double free' error.
I downloaded debug version of InDesign CS5 and now I have a debugger window with a thread list (many function names I don't know). And no idea how to continue.
I have a screenshot of the debugger window here:
The error message is visible in the debugger console. Any ideas what I can do to find the object that causes the error?

I almost hate saying it, cause I really don't care if I get points for solving someone's problem, but I have realized the other benefit of giving these points. As I am searching for other problems with my system it is difficult to follow any advice from previous posts unless I can determine if the problem was solved within the duration of the thread.

Maybe PL/SQL Developer is trying to use some missing registry values, or a missing ORACLE_HOME environment variable

Sql error 7105 on REPOSRC table

Hi dear all, i´m having a database consistency error, after execute the command DBCC CHECKDB, it reported problems wit table REPOSRC with consistency error and suggested a "repair_allow_data_loss", according to note 142731 in this critical cases is recommended a restore from a free error backup, but this is not our situation, (this problem is in development system). In this way sombody know how proceed? is possible copy this table from production? (production is free error). I need first run the repair command and follow by the copy table procedure?.

I might have a solution, to save the developments of the developers, and fix the
problem in the REPOSRC.
This steps, may not end success, and therefore you should take a full backup of the system, before starting this. in addition, if you have a recent backup of the system, you should retore the system to the backup and not contiue,
My recommandation:
find the records with the errors
by copying to table to diffrent table in the same DB (for example REPOSRC_TEMP),
you would probebly find that the records with the errors are SAP Standard reports,
you can determine which row are damaged by the records that can not be read fully, only the primery key fields can be read (in your case the index is not damaged)
now, if you are in the same version SP of SAP in the DEV/PROD,
you can: copy the the records with the errors from REPOSRC of the PROD to you REPOSRC_TEMP, at this case you can drop REPOSRC, and create it again in the SQL server, copy the data from REPOSRC_TEMP to REPOSRC.

Hi. I'm getting connection to failed service errors or not serializable errors when I run a production sized load for my project. I'm trying to generate 100,000 PDFs one at a time on each thread against the Output web service. I'm running custom code that makes the Output web service call on individual thread. I run up to 40 threads against my vertical cluster and occasionally I see a not serializable error or connection to failed service on my code. Any ideas on what could be the cause of the errors? Thank you for any insight you can provide.
I'm running a WebLogic vertical cluster on one box. 1 admin server of WebLogic 9.2 MP3 with 10 managed WebLogic servers on the same physical box in a cluster. I have enough RAM to support all these JVMs and the GDS is on the local drive on the box.
Environment details:
Software: Windows 2003 R2 SP2 (32-bit), WebLogic 9.2 MP3, Adobe LC 8.2.1 SP3 + QF 3.19, Oracle 10.2.0.4, BEA Jrockit 1.5.0_12 (32-bit)

Sorry, I´m a little bit angry about my problem! For two days I bought JOIKUSPOT PREMIUM WiFi HotSpot on Ovi Store over my Nokia N97 (Mietzekatze). I payed it with my Mobilcard. Buyingnumber: 265535972619. But in my (Eigene) Own I can´t find any JOIKUSPOT PREMIUM WiFi HotSpot. I find there only the JOIKUSPOT Free Version, but that is gratis! So I payed 9.99 Euros for nothing. :-(.
So can anyone help me to get the Payversion of Joikuspot?

HT203164 help! i am using itunes 10.6.1.7 and windows vista 64. itunes will no longer burn cds. i have searched online and tried all i saw that could possibly fix it and it is still not working.

i have tried:
reloading itunes
unchecking 'write'
removing lower filters in regedit
ensuring i had the correct 'gear' info in the upper filters in regedit
removing 'gear' from regedit, system32
reloading updated version of 'gear'
cleaning my registery
deleting itunes
cleaning registry again
reloading itunes
cleaning registry again
i still cannot burn cd. t i can import and play cds in itunes and i can watch dvds. itunes will just not burn to blank cds, and i have tried sever new blank cds, each is not recognized.
i do not know what else to do, i have searched the internet and whatever i saw doable i tried.
when i check the cd drive in itunes i had gotten a 4220 error, cnet advised to download a free error fixer, however, this error fixer gave me and enduser message, so that didn't work.
the diagnostic for the cd burner read that i had to put in a formatted disc with content so i did and there are the results of that were that it read the cd and that the 4220 errir code was encountered last time there was an attempt to burn.
and 'could not open cd handler 32. there is a problem with the installation of the drive in windows or the drive contains a copyprotected cd.
the above is not the case as it also popped up for me to import cd to itunes.
i tried to copy and past the entire contents here but it would not allow me to paste.
please help!

I too have only recently encountered this problem. I have been able to burn disks before but it keeps making all these weird sounds. It might be a hardware problem but the fact that everything else that uses a disk works I doubt it.

E72/ E series apps discussion

Hi all. Discussions on this board sometimes get a bit depressing as most of us only post when we have problems with our phones. Something which can sadly be quite frequent.
However, speaking personally, I am on the whole quite happy with the phone. It is purely the software stability issues that have bothered me.
So trying to turn things to a more positive and interesting outlook, I wanted to start a discussion on the various apps that people are using on their E72s or E series phones. There are so many on the ovi store, but most are junk. But what gems have people uncovered?
I will list my favourite apps, and the apps or type of apps I miss the most when looking at symbian 3 or android in comparison.
Favourite/ most used apps:
1. Sports tracker (free). I love keeping a record of my walking and this is perfect for that.
2. Skype (free). Shame it doesn't support video, but otherwise what to add.
3. Nimbuzz (free). For voip using sipgate via wifi when abroad and for a free landline number for incoming calls here and abroad. (I found the nokia sip system not to work with too many routers so use this instead).
4. Joikuspot (free). Great for an emergency to broadcast phone's 3g signal over wifi to laptop.
5. Energy saver (£4). This is the only app I have paid for via ovi store. Despite the name it is basically a sleep timer. I use it to set the phone to go off on a timer after I fall asleep listening to internet radio or music.
6. Slingplayer (bought direct from slingplayer for about £15!). Great to watch and control home sky box whilst out and about or abroad.
Apps that I miss/ wish were available for e72:
1. BBC iplayer. It worked for a while, but sadly no longer compatible with the E72 which is a great shame.
2. Facebook. Really miss a proper facebook app. My wifes C6-01 has a great facebook app. They should really make this available on s60 phones.
3. battery monitor. The battery monitor from touchscreen nokias isn't available on the e72, which is a real shame as it is very good.
4. skype video or equivalent. Sadly you can't have both fring and skype on the phone. plus fring doesn't have a pc program.
5. A decent self updating news feed app. Like the BBC one on symian ^3.
6. A good app for streaming, or uploading and sharing videos taken on the phone. I tried qik, but found the video extremely pixelated and basically unwatchable even when taken in offline mode and uploaded afterwards.
In truth that's about it that I can think of. Otherwise most apps I see people using on their iphones and androids just seem pointless.
Anyone using any gems that I have missed?
Anyone think of anything else that they really wish was available for s60 phones?

namcap showed nothing unusual about the package (which is not open source), and checks on my hard drive show nothing amiss.
Would be grateful for any pointers to solve this unusual problem!

Yes - extracted it to a temporary directory and it occupied 6.2M of disk space, according to the du -h command. Directories and files looked fine.

All seems reasonable, but .... !
(Also re-archived all the extracted stuff into a .pkg.tar.xz archive and got the same problem.)
Edit: But both the .tar.gz and .tar.xz packages install without error on a second system, upgraded with pacman -Syu today to exactly the same level as the first system!

[SOLVED] Upgrades broke glibc

At least I think that's what happened. I usually upgrade with a 'yaourt -Syu --aur --devel', select no to edit PKGBUILDs, and if it's been a while opt not to use existing sources and instead downloading everything again. I've now got a whole schwack of programs that don't want to start - nautilus, gnome-terminal, evince - and a couple that have issues that may or may not be related - chromium, firefox (webkit ?) - and crash whenever I try to download a file.
When I try to start nautilus et al I get:

Some threads suggest telling glibc to continue after receiving a memory free error by setting MALLOC_CHECK_=1 but this did not work for me. Would it be advisable to downgrade glibc? If so how is that done in Arch, I'm relatively new to this distribution.

The grep part is handy (but he should grep for the package name), as pacman searches the whole 'pacman -Qi' output:
