JOOLE Export Failing on certain Machines

Hello -
I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue that just started happening with a few reports. We are in an enterprise environment, so I'm not always away of computer patches/changes that go in.
Updating this question as I orginally thought there was some correlation to the version of Excel, but now I've seen the issue in all three latest versions of Excel (2003/2007/2010).
We have a report with an "Export" button tied to a script that exports an excel file ultimately. This report has not changed recently. It works for some users and doesn't work for others. This only started occuring recently without any changes to the reports. The issue is that if a user trys to use the coded Excel export button that contains JOOLE coding (both from IR Studio and IRWC), an error is thrown.
From what I can tell, the error is getting thrown right away:
var objFSO = new JOOLEObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
The error in the dbgprint file is:
Exception thrown in v1_bi_code\bq\scriptob\joapp.cpp, line 291: Error in new
Script(x):uncaught exception: No message
Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this or where to begin troubleshooting? I've tried looking at the machines to see if something was patched, but nothing is jumping out at me.
Thanks

Just replying to my own question as I figured things out.
We were getting this error because somehow, the scrrun.dll file became un-registered in windows. We're still looking into what caused that, but the solution obviously is to re-register this dll that the FileSystemObject can be found in.

  • DATAPUMP EXPORT FAILS (for certain table names)

I have a table name (G$_EXP$) defined in a user foo.
When I try to export the table using expdp (datapump export command like utility):-
    expdp foo/foo TABLES=G$_EXP$ DIRECTORY=USERDIR EXCLUDE=TRIGGER
I get the following error messages:-
    _EXP: Undefined variable.
So can expdp not handle this kind of table names.
    Will appreciate any comments/responses.

It's not expdp can't handle the tablename, it's your OS interprete $xxx as variables.
Try to use " to quote the tablename, or use parameter file PARFILE

  • Issue with AD users restricted to certain machines.

    Hi all,
So, we seem to have a bit of an issue with user accounts that are restricted to logging in to certain machines only. While the user is permitted to log in to the machine (Windows lets them), our ISE server denies the login and the trace looks like this:
24430 Authenticating user against Active Directory
24441 Account not permitted to log on using the current workstation
22057 The advanced option that is configured for a failed authentication request is used
22061 The 'Reject' advanced option is configured in case of a failed authentication request
    11823 EAP-MSCHAP authentication attempt failed
12305 Prepared EAP-Request with another PEAP challenge
    11006 Returned RADIUS Access-Challenge
5411 No response received during 120 seconds on last EAP message sent to the client
    Has anyone seen this?
    Version 1.1.1.268.
    Thanks!
    -Ryan

Well, as soon as I posted this, the idea hit me.
We added the two ISE servers' machine accounts in AD to the machines that this user is permitted to log in to, and it works like a charm now. Apparently when a user logs in, ISE passes through a generic machine name (of itself) to AD, and it wasn't matching the list of allowed machines.

  • DCP export fails

    Hello!
I can't export with the new DCP Wraptor plugin, for what I've seen am not the only one but I have not seen any response on the subject after much research, so I post it here:
from the beginning of the AME export fails :
"A low-level exception Occurred in: Wraptor DCP (Export)
    Error when exporting
    Video compilation error.
    Unknown error. "
So I'm a little lost, such cryptic error can't help me finding the source of the problem
my video is 4 "43, so I dont think it comes from a time limit
    it's 1080p25 square pixels, 48kHz stereo sound
    For my configuration: i7 4790K CPU ; RAM16Go 1.6Ghz ; HDD 256GB SSD ; win7 64bit ; Premiere CC
    Thank you all !
    Tom

If you are queuing to AME from PPro, please try disabling the option "Import sequences natively" in AME preferences before queuing your project.
Also, I hear some reports that DCP fails on a certain duration.  If you change the duration of your export, do you still see the problem?  Or can you try some different sources to encode to see if this issue is specific to a certain material?

  • Motion 5 - Export failed

    I have a late 2013 iMac, 3,5 GHz Intel Core i7, 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, running Yosemite.
Exporting/rendering files from Motion 5 has been just perfect until now, but since upgrading to Yosemite, I can't export at all.
After some seconds I get the message: Export Failed. The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when creating frame 0 (error -1).
    Re-installed Motion twice. Didn't help.
    What can that be?
    Hope somebody can help me.

    Hi,
I used to have this problem occasionally too. Rebooting the app would usually solve it, and rebooting the machine defo sorted it. Have yo tried trashing the preference? Or creating a new project and copying all the layers into that?

  • MPEG2 Export failed

    Hi all,
i´m running in problems generating MPEG2 (m2v) with compressor.
That´s what i´m usually doing (worked 100 times before, last time 28.03.2008):
I´m rendering out a video MJPEG A PAL from AfterEffects.
Then I´m using a Compressor Droplet to generate a approval Version for my clients (QT Sor3 halfres) and a MPEG2 file as final delivery.
But now the MPEG2 Export fails. Find the error report at the end of this thread.
I tried it with the last files when it worked, also failed.
I tried another MPEG2 Preset (the apple ones) -> failed.
Playing MPEG2 Files using QT-Player and VLC works fine.
    Any help highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Chris

The source frame rate is 23.976, so I guess I would go with 24p. My intention is to upload the file to a streaming video website. They have their specs laid out for me, I just happen to be new to all of this so I am having a tough time meeting them.
My question right now is, if i have selected the MXF OP1a XDCAM option with XDCAM 50 NTSC (4:2:2) video codec, will the export be in mpeg2 and what will my bit rate be? I have no way of viewing the bit rate with this configuration.
Here is a screen grab of their required specs:

  • Time Machine spends hours partially backing up and then fails with "Time Machine couldn't complete the backup due to a network problem."  Tried suggestions I've seen on the forum.

Time Machine spends hours partially backing up and then fails with "Time Machine couldn't complete the backup due to a network problem."  I've tried various suggestions I've seen on the forum but nothing has worked.  TIme Machine worked fine for the last two years and just suddenly started having this problem every time.  The only thing that was a little different is that the computer was off for a week while on vacation and then I added a large amount (20 GB) of photos. Now the requested backup size is 82GB, which is large, and process proceeds very slowly for 2-3 hours before failing with the message mentioned.  I have more than enough available backup storage space for it.  Before failing, Time Machine has backed up no more than 12GB or so of the backup.  It fails during different files each time.
I've turned off the computer sleep feature, and I've checked that the NAS is set to never automatically power down. I normally backup over Wi-Fi, but I've also tried connecting to Ethernet and it still has the same problem.  It's odd because I also have a MacBook Pro that is still backing up fine to the same NAS using the MacBook's Time Machine.
I am using an iMac with OS X 10.6.8 and an Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 NAS.
I have system logs that I can share if helpful.  The logged messages vary a bit from run to run, but here are some messages that I've been seeing:
I always get this message near the beginning of the backup:
Event store UUIDs don't match for volume: Macintosh HD
I've gotten this messsage a number of times:
    Bulk setting Spotlight attributes failed.

That looks like a problem was found with the file system (data) on the TM disk.  I don't know the details, but OSX tried to recover it from the journal, and found extra data on the drive.    Likely a result of the incompatibility mentioned above.

    com.apple.backupd[1169]
    Bulk setting Spotlight attributes failed.
That's a problem writing to the NAS drive.
But the backup continued after all this.

ASP_TCP Disconnect: triggering reconnect by bumping reconnTrigger from curr value 0 on so 0x9d00b44
Something caused a disconnect.  Can't tell from the log what it was.
I doubt it's a problem with something in OSX being damaged or corrupted, but reinstalling OSX isn't a major hassle, so might be worth a try.
To be incompatible with Snow Leopard, this NAS must be at least a couple of years old.  It may be beginning to fail.
Contact the maker.  See if there's an update to make it compatible with Snow Leopard.  If so, that might fix it.
If not, or if that doesn't fix it, see if they have any diagnostics that will shed any light.

  • OMF export failed due to internal error

I get this error message whatever I do when I try to export as OMF:
"OMF export failed due to internal error"
    I tried OMF 1 and 2.
I tried to uncheck "include audio".
I tried an extremely small project (one region, one track).
Always the same error. Problem is there's absolutely no information on what kind of internal error this is.
All other export options (AFF, Open TL and Final Cut) works.
    Any ideas?

I suppose that beside CCM 4.1(2) you are using AC 1.4 (1), if yes, then you need to upgrade to AC 1.4 (1) ES11 or upgrade at least to CCM 4.1(3)ES42 or CCM 4.1(3) sr3c

  • Export Failed (To Excel)

I searched a few threads showing the same problem... only without any confirmed solution. Exporting a workbook to excel comes up with 'export failed' while all the other exports work fine.
I've increased virtual memory on the computer.... and still Discoverer cannot export to excel. I also tried exporting on a server with over 7 gigs of memory. I am guessing the problem the process of formatting data to excel format.
    Any other suggestions ??
    Thanks.

    Hi
Are you by chance using Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed. Microsoft, as always, does not quite tell you everything that they changed. The big one this time is that Service Pack 2 sets a registry switch that by default prevents Internet Explorer from transferring applications between zones. To Microsoft, running something from a web server (Discoverer) and then running something on your PC (Excel) means running applications in two different zones. With that switch set, your PC cannot switch zones when running Internet Explorer and so cannot open Excel from within Discoverer Plus or Viewer.
To allow Discoverer Plus to call a local copy of Excel you need to reset the switch so that it one again allows zone switching, like the old XP. The switch should be set to 0.
    Follow this workflow:
    1. Open your registry and look for this setting:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Main/FeatureControl/FEATURE_ZONE_ELEVATION/iexplore
It is probably set to 1 and it should be set to 0
    In the Windows environment:
    1. Start | Run | Regedit (to open the registry)
    2. Locate the following key path:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_ZONE_ELEVATION\iexplore.exe
    3. Change the value of this setting from 1 to 0 then close the registry editor
    4. Ensure that the following settings for the .xls & .html file types are unchecked:
    a) Open Windows Explorer
    b) Goto Tools | Folder Options | File Types tab
    c) Select the Extension XLS (or HTML) then click on the Advanced button
    d) At the botton of the screen are three settings that use checkboxes. If either of the following two are checked, un-check them:
'Confirm Open after Download' and 'Browse in same window'
    5. Select the OK button
    6. Click the Apply button
    7. Re-boot the PC
Let me know if this helps
    Best wishes
    Michael

  • WebLogic Portal 10.3.2 EmbededLDAP Export Failed

New domain created in WebLogic Portal 10.3.2. 11g
In the Admin Servers log file, I see this error:
    <Mar 1, 2010 7:06:23 PM CST> <Error> <EmbeddedLDAP> <BEA-000000> <Database Export Failed: null>
I don't see this in other domains, just this newly created one.

You may want to go to the domain (top of tree) in the admin console, then 'security', 'embedded LDAP' and play with the 2 options of "refresh replica at startup'" and "master first". I don't have enough info on what database is referring to or your configuration but these are areas you may want to look into.

  • Quicktime export failed - out of memory

After I managed to open AVCHD (MTS) movies with AE CS4 I just tried to export a 2 min movie. I export as H264 1280x720.
I keep getting this error "quicktime export failed - out of memory"
It also happend when using SD movies
I have 2GB ram and a dual core inter E6550.
Does anyone encountered such problem ?

Are you rendering and exporting using the render queue, or are you using the Export command in the File menu? You should almost always use the render queue.
    See
"Rendering and exporting movies using QuickTime components" and
    "About rendering and exporting".

  • 11g Method -- byte[] JGeometry.store( JGeometry ) fails for certain SQL

    Hi All,
Using the new in 11g byte[] JGeometry.store( JGeometry ) method as oppose to the traditional STRUCT JGeometry.store( JGeometry, Connection) method fails for certain SQL statements.
It works fine for statements like this:
    UPDATE PARCELS SET GEOM = ? WHERE ID = 47;
    These statements give errors though:
    UPDATE PARCELS SET GEOM = SDO_MIGRATE.TO_CURRENT( ?, (SELECT DIMINFO FROM USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA WHERE TABLE_NAME = 'PARCELS' AND COLUMN_NAME = 'GEOM') ) WHERE ID = 47;
ORA-06553: PLS-306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'TO_CURRENT'
    SELECT ID, LABEL, GEOM FROM PARCELS WHERE SDO_NN( GEOM, ?, 'SDO_BATCH_SIZE=5000' ) = 'TRUE';
ORA-29900: operator binding does not exist
ORA-06553: PLS-306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'SDO_NN'
? Being where I bind in the byte[] / Object as appropriate.
    So I get the above errors when using setBytes( index,  JGeometry.store( jgeom ) ); but it work when using: setObject( index,  JGeometry.store( jgeom, con ) );
Is this a bug is known / will be fixed ?
    Thanks,
    Ronan

    Ronan,
Typically this works fine in OC4J, but does not work in WLS or other containers since the connection type is different between.
In OC4J, the connection is an Oracle connection which can handle these object conversions.
We will try to improve the documentation for this to explicitly specify where this interface can be used.

  • AUTOMATED EXPORT FAILED

Hi Azure team,I received the below error mail for automated export.
"We recommend checking that the storage account is available, and that you can perform a manual export to that account. We will attempt to export again at the next scheduled time."1. May i know, What is this message conveying?2. Storage is not accessible during that time?
If yes is answer for 2nd question then please let me know why it was happened?and how could we overcome from this???Kindly help on this by providing suggestions.

    Hello,
Did the automated export works on the SQL Database? you can review the Import and export history in the SQL Database server.
The message showed in the mail indicates that automated export failed due to some reason. If your storage account is not accessible, the export may fail as the .bacpac file cannot be stored in the storage.

  • Export Failed. (-50)

I am trying to use Quicktime 7.3.1 to export a .mov file to an mpeg2 file. I've done this multiple times using the same method. However, this time, and I've restarted my computer to see what that did, but this time it went all the way through the export process and then stated "export failed. (-50)" right at the end at 99%. Right now I am trying to change the name of the output file to see if that helps. Any other ideas?

QuickTime Pro no longer exports to MPEG-2 format. Older versions of DVD Studio Pro did add that export option but it has been removed in favor of the new Compressor app.
