Jquery + json generate html buttons with condition

Hi all,
My need is to generate buttons with conditions described in json. Help me please, I’m newbie.
Here is my json code (it is valid, but does not work with html code below) :
    "Caption": "Module caption",
    "IconsDirectory": "C://Images/",
    "Buttons": [
            "Conditions": [
                    "ConditionText": "1 == 1",
                    "ButtonText": "Text1",
                    "Visible": true,
                    "Colors": {
                        "FontColor": "#FFFFFF",
                        "BGColor": "#00FF00"
                    "Size": {
                        "Width": 200,
                        "Height": 50
                    "Icon": {
                        "FileName": "Smile.png",
                        "Width": 16,
                        "Height": 16
                    "Url": {
                        "UrlAddress": "http://www.google.com",
                        "OpenNewWindow": true
                    "JavaScriptAction": {
                        "Text": "alert('ok');"
                    "ConditionText": "2 == 2",
                    "ButtonText": "Text2",
                    "Visible": true,
                    "Colors": {
                        "FontColor": "#FFFFFF",
                        "BGColor": "#00FF00"
                    "Size": {
                        "Width": 200,
                        "Height": 50
                    "Icon": {
                        "FileName": "Smile.png",
                        "Width": 16,
                        "Height": 16
                    "Url": {
                        "UrlAddress": "http://www.google.com",
                        "OpenNewWindow": true
                    "JavaScriptAction": {
                        "Text": "alert('ok');"
html code:
<html>
<head>
<title>SMButtons</title>
[removed][removed]
[removed]
//When document loaded.
$(document).ready(function(){
// Get data from file as JSON
            $.getJSON('weekendtask.json', function(data) {
        var buttons = data.Buttons;
           $.each(buttons, function(key, val)
                    $('<li><input type="button" value="'+ val.ButtonText +'"/></li>').appendTo('#ulObj');
   [removed]
</head>
<body>
<br>
<br>
<div>
<ul id='ulObj'>
<li>1</li>
<li>2</li>
<li>3</li>
</ul>
</div>
</body>
</html>
Also I would like to show here my working code (generating html buttons from json without condition).
json code (it works) :
    "Caption": "Module caption",
    "IconsDirectory": "C://Images/",
    "Buttons": [
            "TText": "google",
            "JavaScriptAction": "alert('google')"
            "TText": "microsoft",
            "JavaScriptAction": "alert('microsoft')"
            "TText": "yahoo",
            "JavaScriptAction": "alert('yahoo')"
html code (it works) :
<html>
<head>
<title>SMButtons</title>
<script src="jquery/jquery-1.4.2.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
//When document loaded.
$(document).ready(function(){
// Get data from file as JSON
            $.getJSON('Module.json', function(data) {
            // Set json data from file to variable 'persons'
    var buttons = data.Buttons;
    var icondir = data.IconsDirectory;
    // For each item of variable person append to ul list
           $.each(buttons, function(key, val)
                    //$("<li><input type='button' onClick='"+ val.Url +"' value='"+ val.Text +"'/></li>").appendTo('#aaa');
//$("<li><input type='button' style='"+ val.Style +"' onClick='"+ val.Url +"' value='"+ val.Text +"'/></li>").appendTo('#aaa');
//$("<li><input type='button' value='"+ val.TText +"'/></li>").appendTo('#bbb');
                    //style="height: 25px; width: 100px"
                    //$('<li><input type="button" onClick="'+ val.action +'" value="'+ val.Text +'"/></li>').appendTo('#aaa');
                    $('<li><input type="button" onClick="'+ val.JavaScriptAction +'" value="'+ val.TText +'"/></li>').appendTo('#ulObj');
    //var knop = data.Knop;
    // For each item of variable person append to ul list
           //$.each(buttons, function(key, val)
                    //$("<li><input type='button' onClick='"+ val.Url +"' value='"+ val.Text +"'/></li>").appendTo('#aaa');
//$("<li><input type='button' style='"+ val.Style +"' onClick='"+ val.Url +"' value='"+ val.Text +"'/></li>").appendTo('#bbb');
                    //style="height: 25px; width: 100px"
                    //$('<li><input type="button" onClick="'+ val.action +'" value="'+ val.Text +'"/></li>').appendTo('#aaa');
                    //$('<li><input type="button" onClick="'+ val.action +'" value="'+ val.Text +'"/></li>').appendTo('#aaa');
   </script>
</head>
<body>
<br>
<br>
<div>
<ul id='ulObj'>
<li>1</li>
</ul>
</div>
<br>
<div>
<ul id='aaa'>
<!--<li>1</li>-->
</ul>
</div>
<!--<button type="submit" style="height: 95px; width: 550px"> </button>-->
<!--background: url('img/submit_button.jpg'); background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat;  background-color:Transparent;-->
<div>
<ul id='bbb'>
<!--<li><img src="img/submit_button.jpg"/></li>-->
<!--<li>Button caption</li>-->
</ul>
</div>
</body>
</html>

What you are saying makes great sense. It's just the mechanics behind what you've said that I'm unclear about.
<p>
Are you saying to create another button within the same region with the same attributes/position, so they overlay each other? Then set the conditions on both buttons?
<p>
If I understand the above correctly, then how do I set the conditions? I guess I'm asking where do I place the SQL statement and how does the results relate to the button conditions?
<p>
Thanks for the help,
David

  • Generate HTML report with ANT

    Hello,
    I'm  new to FlexPMD. I have just generated my firsts reports. I try to generate HTML reports.
    I browse the documentation, this forum and the web and I find informations to :
    - generate documentation with Hudson
    - generate documentation with Maven
    - generate documentation with XSLT pmd.xml -> html
    Ok, I try to keep it simple. So I don't want to use Hudson.
    I'm using ANT, and I currently don't want to install/learn Maven.
    I'm using FlexUnit with ANT. And It's really simple to generate reports :
    <junitreport todir="${report.flexunit.loc}">
                <fileset dir="${report.flexunit.loc}">
                    <include name="TEST-*.xml" />
                </fileset>
                <report format="frames" todir="${report.flexunit.loc}/html" />
    </junitreport>
    I'm really new to FlexPMD, so I don't have currently a big knowledge, but it seems impossible to generate a HTML report just like junitreport. (1 line in an ANT task)
    I test the XSLT transformation found on this forum (thread "XSLT pmd.xml -> html"). It's really cool. But it's seems difficult, for example, to extract the wrong code part and add it to the HTML page.
    So, what is the simpler solution to generate HTML report just with FlexPMD/ANT ?
    Thanks !

    Hello,
    Currently you generate a PMD report with ANT  like this :
    <! -- define taskdef  -->
    < taskdef name="pmd"  classname="com.adobe.ac.pmd.ant.FlexPmdAntTask"  classpath="${build.pmd.loc}/flex-pmd-ant-task-${flexpmd.version}.jar">
             < classpath>
                 < path refid="flexpmd.base" />
                 < pathelement  location="${build.pmd.loc}/commons-lang-2.4.jar" />
                 < pathelement  location="${build.pmd.loc}/flex-pmd-core-${flexpmd.version}.jar" />
                 < pathelement  location="${build.pmd.loc}/flex-pmd-ruleset-api-${flexpmd.version}.jar"  />
                 < pathelement  location="${build.pmd.loc}/flex-pmd-ruleset-${flexpmd.version}.jar"  />
                 < pathelement  location="${build.pmd.loc}/plexus-utils-1.0.2.jar" />
             < /classpath>
    < /taskdef>
    then generate XML  report like this :
    < pmd  sourceDirectory="${src.loc}" outputDirectory="${report.loc}"  ruleSet="${build.pmd.loc}/rules.xml"/>
    The  XML contains some file nodes :
    < file  name="/Users/user/workspace/AS3_UTILS/src/utils/align/gridAlignSpaceNumber.as">
           < violation beginline="22" endline="22" begincolumn="0"  endcolumn="27" rule="adobe.ac.pmd.rules.naming.TooShortVariable"  ruleset="All Flex Rules" package="utils.align"  class="gridAlignSpaceNumber.as" externalInfoUrl="" priority="5">This  variable name is too short (3 characters minimum, but 1 actually).  Detects when a field, local, or parameter has a very short name<  /violation>
    < /file>
    The  message is in the text node  < violation>TEXT< /violation>
    For  me, we miss an important part of the message : the portion of the "bad"  code.
    It could be very usefull if PMD can generate  something like this :
    < file  name="">
           < violation beginline="" endline="" begincolumn=""  endcolumn="" rule=""  ruleset="" package=""  class="gridAlignSpaceNumber.as" externalInfoUrl="" priority="">
            < description>TEXT< /description>
            < code><CDATA[MY CODE
    MY CODE
    MY CODE]>< /code>
        <  /violation>
    < /file>
    With this, we can  generate "full" HTML report with XSLT transform easily.
    I  understand that it modify the standard XML schema of the output.
    So,  perharps it could be an option like this :
    < pmd fullDescription="true"  sourceDirectory="${src.loc}"  outputDirectory="${report.loc}"  ruleSet="${build.pmd.loc}/rules.xml"/>
    What do you think ?
    Thanks !

  • Swf2html.exe and infinite generated html files

    Dear,
    I use the tool swf2html.exe from Adobe for extracting textual content on .swf files.
    Is there a way to avoid infinite iteration on such swf files : i.e. http://www.cartoondollemporium.com/superdollz/dollz/1012/doll.swf ?
    The problem is that when I try to generate html file with that file in PHP, swf2html.exe made an infinite iterate and there is no way (except manualy cut the process) to stop for example on a max output file size generated.
    Thanks of you have some tips to avoid or solve that extracting problem,
    For test :
    http://www.se-flash.com/cgi-bin/flash.pl?etape2=1
    with http://www.jeuxclic.com/jeux/bubble_shooter.swf work.
    http://www.se-flash.com/cgi-bin/flash.pl?etape2=1
    with http://www.cartoondollemporium.com/superdollz/dollz/1012/doll.swf made infinite loop....
    Stephane.

    1) All you do is specify a directory with the -d option and Javadoc creates the directory structure below that. We often use either "-d docs" or "-d html" to create a directory named "docs" or "html" in the current directory.
    2) Preferably they should be stored on a server that has a web server running so people can access them. We build the docs nightly on the development server where people can access the latest version using a file: URL (not with a web server). Then before each release we stage them on our intranet before we push them out to the intranet. We also run the DocCheck doclet and a link checker nightly so developers and writers can find errors in their documentation.
    3) If you want a top-level page that links to separate javadoc documents, you need to do this manually. However, keep in mind that you can also inter-link all those separate documents by using the -link or -linkoffline option.
    Let us know if you have more questions or comments.

  • Displaying dynamically generated HTML

    Hi!
    Is it possible to display dynamically generated HTML-page by means of ITS?
    I want to write report in ABAP and generate HTML-page with report data, then display it on client side.
    Is it possible?
    Thanks!

    Hello,
    As long as it has a transaction code then probably yes.  Just use the webgui service.

  • Generate html output like odwa for multiple repository objects

    Hello,
    In odwa it's possible to navigate to an entity and view the properties of it.
    We would like to produce / generate html files with the properties of >100 entities, >100 business functions etc etc. So we can burn this on cd and give it to someone who doesn't have repository acces. An end user for example.
    Does anyone have any ideas?
    Jos

    Jos,
    I am very sorry but unfortunately the functionality you are looking for (that used to exist in ODWA 6.0) is not available in the 6i release.
    We have considered (and to some extent are still considering) to make this 'static reports' option available again, but it is not there right now.
    You may want to send an email to the team that produced ODWA (the iDevelopment Center of Excellence, [email protected]) to try to persuade them
    to provide that functionality after all.
    I do know for a fact that manually changing the code to make this work is not simple; better to have them (us) do it for you than attempt yourself.
    best regards,

  • In Flash CS4 a generated html with swf file won't play swf

    Using Flash CS4 and having the Flash plug-in ver 10 on my PC, the generated html file will not play the swf in the browser.
    I noticed that the active-x javascript is now included in the header as well as the javascript portion in the body tag.
    But it won't play.  I get the typical blank window in IE with the "X" in the upper left corner.
    I don't have this problem with Flash CS3.
    Any ideas what may be going on?
    Thank you.

    I am having similar difficulty; mostly I am confused.
    I want to open a flash video file in a frame within a webpage.
    I have generated a Flash CS4 html and swf file. When loaded they play, but they play on a separate, full size web page, not in the frame where I want it.
    I then generated FLV and F4V files but that doesn't work.
    It appears that I need to insert the object and embed tags "for Flash Movies" in the html file.
    Once I do that, do I go back to only putting in the html and swf files and create a link to the html file to bring up the video in the target frame?
    What are the FLV files for?

  • How to generate html-code using csv input with JSP or JAVA???

    Hello,
    I want to read out a .csv-file and generate html-code dynmically with JSP in an EP6 Application. The problem is, that the csv-file can’t be located or openend.
    BTW if every knows a good tutorial or weblog for this, please post the link.
    It’s located in a par-archive under:
    />dist>files
    I tried various methods, in the doContent mehtod or with JSP. Everytime same result.
    Here part of the code I tried in the doContent():
    public class CSV extends AbstractPortalComponent
        public void doContent(IPortalComponentRequest request, IPortalComponentResponse response)
            String strWRoot = request.getWebResourcePath();
            String contentCSV="", line="";
            String linesep = System.getProperty("line.separator");
            File fileLoadCSV = new File(strWRoot+"/files/ma_infosysteme.csv");
            boolean exCSV = fileLoadCSV.exists();
            boolean reCSV = fileLoadCSV.canRead();
            int a=0;
            if(exCSV&&reCSV){
                response.write("ok");
                try {
                  BufferedReader inputCSV = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(fileLoadCSV));
                  while((line=inputCSV.readLine())!=null){
                    contentCSV=contentCSVlinelinesep;
                    a++;
                  inputCSV.close();
                catch(IOException ioex){
                    System.out.println("Fehler");
            else {
                response.write("not ok");
            response.write("<br>Wroot: "+strWRoot);
            response.write("<br>File: "+fileLoadCSV);
            response.write("<br>exists: "+exCSV);
            response.write("<br>read: "+reCSV);
            response.write("<br>Input: "+contentCSV);
    The Output is:
    not ok
    Wroot: /irj/portalapps/DHTML
    File: \irj\portalapps\DHTML\files\ma_infosysteme.csv
    exists: false
    read: false
    Input:
    So thanks to everyone who can give me a good hint.
    Bye.

    Without really looking too much into this it looks like the problem is with the way in which you are trying to open the file. I believe that when creating a File object you need to use a physical path. By using the getWebResourcePath() method you are retrieving the URL to this file and not the physical path name. There is another method (can't remember the exact name) called getPublicResourcePath() (or something similar) which will return the physical path to this file, i.e. c:\usr\sap\.....etc. If you try it this way it may well work
    I hope this helps

  • Embedding javascript with xslt generated html

    hi,
    I'm using xml/xslt with xdk to generate html with embedded javascript. The solution works except that I am having problem with proper inclusion of the javascript file. I uset this line:
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <head><title>Screener</title>
    <!-- Javascript declarations -->
    <script language="javascript1.2" src="./screener.js">
    </script>
    I have tested the xslt sheet via IE5 and msxml3 processor and it works fine including loading the javascript file.
    Now using XDK and servlet it doesn't seem to retrieve the javascript file so all javascript function do not work.
    I would appreciate any help.
    thanks,

    hi brian,
    All those files are in same directory i changed the .xsl file to be i am changing at the right place.
    However, as backup i tried the following:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0">
    <xsl:output method="html"/>
    <script language="javascript1.2">
    <![CDATA[
    <!--
    var isNav4, isIE4;
    if (parseInt(navigator.appVersion.charAt(0)) >= 4) {
    isNav4 = (navigator.appName == "Netscape")? true:false
    isIE4 = (navigator.appName.indexOf("Microsoft" != -1)) ? true:false
    if (isNav4) { document.write("<B>It's a Navigator!</B>");}
    else { document.write("It's an Explorer!");}
    //== shared global variables
    function _alert(e)
    alert(e);
    -->
    ]]>
    </script>
    and here is the html output:
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Screener</title>
    <script language="javascript1.2">
    &#60;!--
    var isNav4, isIE4;
    if (parseInt(navigator.appVersion.charAt(0)) >= 4) {
    isNav4 = (navigator.appName == "Netscape")? true:false
    isIE4 = (navigator.appName.indexOf("Microsoft" != -1)) ? true:false
    if (isNav4) { document.write("&#60;B>It's a Navigator!&#60;/B>");}
    else { document.write("It's an Explorer!");}
    //== shared global variables
    function _alert(e)
    alert(e);
    -->
    </script>
    </head>
    So everything is being output correctly except for <!--; is there a way around this problem? If I leave out <!-- --> it works but
    i was wondering if the present behavior is what's supposed to happen.
    thanks,

  • A tree-view in HTML page with nodes generated with java script in run time is not visible in the UI Automation Tree. Need Help

    I have a HTML page with an IFrame. Inside the Iframe there is a table with a tree view
    <iframe>
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    <treeview id="tv1"></treeview>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </iframe>
    In UIA, i am able to traverse till the tree view but not able to see it.
    I have used the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker Field to traverse the node from the desktop Automation.RootElement.
    I tried to use AutomationElement.FromPoint method to check whether i am able to get that element. Fortunately i was able to get the automation element.
    i tried to get the path to root element from the node element using the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker. I was able to get the parent path to the root element.
    But trying the reverse way like navigating from root element to tree node, was not getting the element for me.
    Please help me with suggestions or inputs to resolve this issue.

    Thanks Bernard,
    It works fine with JInitiator but not working with
    the JPI. For JPI what settings I need to do ??hi TKARIM and Bernard, i am having similar problem even with the Bernard's recommended setup. could you post the webutiljini.htm (i presume you are using config=test) ?
    i am actually using jinitiator 1.3.1.28 with Oracle HTTP Server of OAS 10gR2) calling Forms Server 6i (f60cgi). After setting up according to Bernard's recommended setup steps, the java console showed that it loaded the icon jar file when it could not read the form, but it skipped the loading of the icon jar file once it read and started the form. How do we specify in the form to pick up the icon from the jar file instead from a directory ? Or do we need to specify ? Any ideas ?

  • Html db confirmation button with javascript:

    Hello,
    First, I have a button with a URL javascript:confirmAction(document.forms[ wwv_flow ].elements[ P181_MESSAGE_CANCEL ].value, Cancel);
    In this moment, by pressing on "CANCEL" button, a pop-up with the message of field (P181_MESSAGE_CANCEL) appears and there is a connection towards the same current page with the starting values. I want to make a validation, because if no field were modified, then I do not want whom the message posts by pressing on the "CANCEL" button but that the connection is carried out normally.
    Second, I would like that if one modifies a field in a page and that while pressing on a mitre to move on another page, that it is a message in pop-up there "Want you to really change page without recording your modifications? "
    Thank you very much!

    Do you mean a close button in HTMLDB or the browser window's close button? [HTMLDB cannot help much with the latter!]
    For buttons you created, just add a URL target as
    javascript:if(confirm("Are you sure?")) doSubmit('CLOSE');
    That will popup the box and if OK is clicked submit the page with REQUEST set to CLOSE

  • HTML Button use an image instead of Text

    I have an HTML button in its own region called A_BUTTON, its current Button display attributes are
    sytle: HTML Button
    Attributes: name="A" class="where_clause_button"
    what it does is i use a dynamic action based off the where_clause_button jquery selector and use javascript to update a hidden field. I would now like to use the Oracle Logo for example as the image of the button instead of using a text label for it. I tried adding to the Attributes src="http://www.oracleimg.com/admin/images/ocom/hp/oralogo_small.gif". When i run it the button still works the same as before but without the image and retains its Text Label, in this case its A.
    the html it generates is for the button during runtime is:
    <input type="button" src="http://www.oracleimg.com/admin/images/ocom/hp/oralogo_small.gif" class="where_clause_button" name="A" onclick="apex.submit('');" id="A_BUTTON" value="A">
    How do i retain the functionality of this button but make it an image button?

    <li>Use a template based button and customize the template with the image.
    <li>Add appropriate JS code to the URL section(prefixing with "javascript:" ) and optionally add a some ID attribute for easy JS access.

    Hi there,
    You are saying that you want to use mouse-over. But I think you don't want to use that.
    I've been working with this, and I got it working. However........ Image this: "you have a table with 10 visible rows. You have some buttons below the table. After you select a row (lets say the third) , you might want to navigate to the details by "pushing" a button.
    What will happen with the selected row.......your mouse goes to the button... your mouse has to go over all the rows in the table.... The last row your mouse goes over will be selected.... and these details will be shown. Not the details of the row that you initially selected....
    If you still want this..... I might be able to help you.

  • How to get generated HTML file to display in new window from FileDownloadActionListener?

    Hi,
    I am using Jdeveloper version 11.1.1.5.
    I have a use case where the user can produce a report upon the click of a command button. They can generate 3 types of reports, HTML, PDF or Excel depending on which option they select in the radio buttons preceding the 'generate report' command button.
    The files are created in the background (XML file created based on View Objects which is then transformed using the relevant API for the report type and then produces a file which is held in servers temp directory) and is served out through a FileDownloadActionListener component programmatically, which itself is surrounded by a Command Link with visibility property set to 'false' (as per this blog:http://www.jobinesh.com/2010/01/customizing-execution-of-to-validate.html).
    Everything works fine in that the reports generate correctly and after clicking on the 'generate report' button the browser's 'Open/Save' dialog box appears asking the user what they would like to do with the file. I am using Internet Explorer as that is what most of the client users will be using.
    The issue I'm having is as follows. For PDF and Excel types when the user clicks on 'Open' the file opens in separate Adobe Reader or MS Excel application windows respectively, which is as expected and required. However, the HTML document opens within the same browser window within which the application is running and from where the 'generate report' button was clicked. The issues this presents is that if the user closes the browser window displaying the report then they will need to open a new window to re-establish connection to the application. If they click the browser 'back' button then it takes them back to the original page but not in exactly the same state as it was before the report was launched i.e. there are some components missing and the page doesn't display correctly.
    Is there another way for me to achieve this or is it even possible? I tried setting the 'useWindow' property of the invisible command link surrounding the FileDownloadActionListener to 'true' which didn't work. I tried to surround it with a Go Link instead of a command link but that gave me NullPointerException's, I think because you can only use a component which has an 'Action' property?
    I appreciate your assistance as always.

    Hi,
      I'm not sure if this solution is appropriate to your situation, but I had the same problem with trying to redirect from a commandLink to a new window.  In the method that is called by the links action I used the following:
    // Open the url in a separate browser window
    ExtendedRenderKitService erks =
      Service.getRenderKitService(fctx, ExtendedRenderKitService.class);
    StringBuilder script = new StringBuilder();
    script.append("window.open('" + url + "', '', '');");
    erks.addScript(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance(), script.toString());

  • How to Suppress HTML Button on WCC Check-in Page

    Hi,
    On the WCC checkin page there is an HTML button. When I attempt to add an asset to DAM, and click the HTML button before initial check-in I get this error
    Unable to execute service DC_CACHE_CHECKIN_NEW and function checkDocRules.
    The error was caused by an internally generated issue. The error has been logged.
    Is there a way to suppress the HTML button? I really have no use for it. Or is this a settings error on me WCC server?
    Thank you,
    Randy

    It's not the function isn't developed. It's just that every object on the front panel has a corresponding object on the block diagram. Attached is an example of how to do it with two buttons.
    By the way, if you've run out of room on your panel, it probably means your interface is too crowded. If that is so, I suggest you add more pages to the tab to make your interface more clear.
    Try to take over the world!

  • HTML button in the eMail notification sent by Workflow

    I have a workflow which send eMail notification to the users. I want to add 2 HTML buttons for approve and reject on this email notification.
    For this I have embedded the following HTML snippet in the advanced properties (Message Body) of the email action in the workflow -
    <!DOCTYPE html><HTML xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40" xmlns:v = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" xmlns:o = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" xmlns:w = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word" xmlns:m = "http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2004/12/omml"><HEAD><TITLE></TITLE> <META content="text/html; charset=us-ascii" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META name=GENERATOR content="MSHTML 10.00.9200.17183"></HEAD> <BODY> <P><IMG style="TEXT-ALLIGN: left" src="../Site%20Assets/abc_icon.png"></P> <P><STRONG>******************************************<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Styled Workflow eMail<BR>******************************************</STRONG></P> <P><STRONG>Full Name: [%Current Item:FullName%]</STRONG></P><FONT color=#0000ff size=2 face=Consolas><FONT color=#0000ff size=2 face=Consolas><FONT color=#0000ff size=2 face=Consolas> <P></FONT></FONT></FONT><INPUT id=btnApprove type=button value=Approve>&nbsp;&nbsp;<INPUT id=btnReject type=button value=Reject></P></BODY></HTML>
    <!DOCTYPE html><HTML xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40" xmlns:v = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" xmlns:o = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" xmlns:w = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word"
    xmlns:m = "http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2004/12/omml"><HEAD><TITLE></TITLE> <META content="text/html; charset=us-ascii" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META name=GENERATOR content="MSHTML 10.00.9200.17183"></HEAD>
    <BODY> <P><IMG style="TEXT-ALLIGN: left" src="../Site%20Assets/abc_icon.png"></P> <P><STRONG>******************************************<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
    Styled Workflow eMail<BR>******************************************</STRONG></P> <P><STRONG>Full Name: [%Current Item:FullName%]</STRONG></P><FONT color=#0000ff size=2 face=Consolas><FONT color=#0000ff size=2
    face=Consolas><FONT color=#0000ff size=2 face=Consolas> <P></FONT></FONT></FONT><INPUT id=btnApprove type=button value=Approve>&nbsp;&nbsp;<INPUT id=btnReject type=button value=Reject></P></BODY></HTML>
    However when the user receives the mail, the buttons appear as plain text. Moreover the images are also missing.
    Am I  missing any specific configuration? Is there anything more that needs to be done to render a HTML button and images in an email generated from a workflow?
    I would appreciate, if anyone could please help me resolve this issue.

    Hi Arghadip Kar,
    Im glad you liked my name. )
    Anyhoo, you are correct. A Task is used. I checked in SWI1 and the task associated with the mail is TS90000101. (not a ws) Does this help at all?
    In the Business Process, it is the part where the system informs a Training coordinator that a training request by an employee have been approved by his/her manager.
    Do I still check the FM below or are there any other way given the info above?
    Thank you!
