Jquery .load not loading

I'm learning how to build a web app, and I'm having a problem with jquery .load()
this is what I got for Jquery

It fades out but dosen't seem to load the requested page. I have the alert just to tell me if it loaded in.
I have the index.html file in the parent folder, and the test.html in a folder called Content.
(the page is just <p>loaded</p>)
I tried different path versions to see if it was the path loaction, but still didn't work
Can anybody see whats wrong?
(and a brief explanation of what I did wrong)

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you had an issue about the JQuery loading image.
I think the issue is related to the browser. Did you use the IE 8?
The hide() and show() method not work in IE 8.

Images are not loading/not loading completely, persona previews no longer works with scrollover - even after complete uninstall/reinstall, but images work in IE - suggestions on how to fix this??

Images on websites often do not load or load incorrectly/incompletely load even after refreshing page and clearing caches. Often have to "clear recent history" 5 or 6 times within a single firefox session to get working links, images, completely loaded pages. The persona previews no longer do an "automatic preview" with a scroll over and now i no longer even get an image on the page to scroll over (images are just NOT THERE). I have done the safe mode test, have updated everything suggested, have checked all add ons as suggested in the troubleshooting guide and NOTHING shows as being a problem. I even did a complete uninstall and reinstall and it is STILL not working. Worried that it was an issue with my computer, i checked the pages in IE, and they worked PERFECTLY. I am uncertain what to do now. It started as a problem once or twice a week, and now it is EVERY time i bring up Firefox. Help?

the second article did offer a suggestion that SEEMS to have helped ::crosses fingers:: - an about:config, resetting of the preferences for images. we'll see how long it lasts. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the suggestion, the article wasn't one i'd found while searching for troubleshooting info.
Java script is enabled, but the persona's stuff still isn't working. dang it. WELL, one thing seems to work now, at least. thank you.

SWF Loader - not loading from variables

The above code is working find and it is loading the swf fine
The problem comes when I read a list of files and load it.. I read a CSV file, to get a list of SWF names.

I'm not sure I understood the question, but if you use SuperImage from
quietlyscheming.com, it will cache images in memory so if you try to get
them again it will be very quick.

Very strange.
Did you connect as the same user as SQL*Loader when you checked the table?
Is it possible that someone else deleted the data?

Loader Not Loading Content

I have a loader, and it doesn't seem to be loading my content when I am viewing it on my website. However, when I open up my loader.swf in a browser, it loads up my content once it is done loading.

SQL Loader not loading

Hi,
I have a client table with following description
CLIENT_ID NUMBER(10)
FIRST_NAME VARCHAR2(10)
LAST_NAME VARCHAR2(20)
I have client.dat file as
2001, Joe, Soap
2002, Jim, Bloggs
2003, Jimmy, Bean
I have SQL Loader control file client.ctl as
LOAD DATA
INFILE 'D:\client.dat'
INTO TABLE client APPEND
FIELDS TERMINATED BY "," TRAILING NULLCOLS
CLIENT_ID INTEGER,
FIRST_NAME CHAR(10),
LAST_NAME CHAR(20)
I am running sqlldr control=d:\client.ctl
I get the message
Commit point reached - logical record count 2
commit point reached - logical record count 3
But at the end of this I do not see these two records appended in the table.

Hi!
Check whether there is any bad file generates there or not. If it is - generates then see what are the records are rejected. And, also check the corresponding log file - what is the message it is giving. So, far i don't think there is any error in your code.

Loading jquery ui - ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

I am following a simple tutorial to add dragging functionality to a composition.
I added this code to the creationComplete-event of the stage:

Questions:
* What am i doing wrong? Maybe its because JQuery UI is an AMD - Module?
* How do i know which version of jquery edge is currently using?
* Is it possible to "update" the jquery version that edge is using by my own?

The object-positioning issue is the following:
If i create some "static" Elements on the stage as DragElements and Targets and use JQuery UI for draggable and droppable functiononality it works fine.
But if i animate those Elements ( just a simple move-animation from outside the stage ) and then start dragging, the dragElements moves to a far away position, away from the cursor. this is due to css transformations in adobe edge in contrast to just using left and top properties in JQuery.
Do you have any suggestion to avoid this problem?

In web application we have start page where we are using jquery document.ready function and updating label value which works fine if i browse the web app separately.
when its been referenced in app part jquery does not work.

You would have to load in jQuery also in your app part, by using a <script type="text/javascript" src="PATH TO jQuery"></script> style of tag in the app part itself (for example in between <head></head>)

IE11 - Magento Web site - Slideshows Script/Jquery on Home Page does not load

I need help on emergency please, We tried all and its not functionning on IE11 Windows 8.1.
On Our Magento dev site Home Page, We have Menu + Different Slideshows:
1) When We enter on Dev site directly from URL to Home page, all Slideshows and Menu function perfectly
2) When We go to another page and Come back to Home Page. Slideshows disappear (does not load), menu does not Unfold. If, We refresh manually, All come back as usual.
3) We tried all, even testing all extensions on site; We didnt succeed to find a solution for that!
By the way, the site functions perfectly on IE10, and other competition Browsers,

IE 11: Javascript files are not loaded correctly from cache?

Since installing Windows 8.1, I have been experiencing issues with script loading in IE 11: When the server responds with "304 Not Modified" in response to a script request, bad things happen. Specifically, I encounter script errors that would
normally be caused by a missing script reference or having references in the wrong order (e.g. "Unable to get property 'foo' of undefined or null reference"). Doing a force-refresh (i.e. Ctrl+F5) corrects the issue until the next page load.
Based on what I see in the IE 11 developer tools, it looks like the scripts are loaded correctly. I can open them in the Debugger view and the content appears to be correct. Perhaps IE is just not loading them in the correct order in this scenario?
I noticed this problem myself and then someone else (who has also recently installed Windows 8.1) informed me that it appears he is experiencing exactly the same issue on a different site.

I'm fairly certain this issue represents a bug in IE 11. The same problem(s) do not occur in IE 9 or IE 10. The same problems occur on unrelated websites accessed from separate machines. Doing a force-refresh (Ctrl+F5) always fixes the issue.
I took your advice about opening the console to look for error messages during page load. When loading normally (i.e. not doing a force-refresh), the console shows the following:

When loading the page via a force-refresh, only the 'Navigation occurred.' message is displayed. It does not make sense that IE would apply a more restrictive security policy to scripts loaded from cache vs. scripts loaded directly from their original location,
yet that appears to be what is happening.
