JQuery Mobile with Dreamweaver CS6 - Blink

I´ve created a JQuery Mobile page using Dreamweaver CS6  that works perfectly in Firefox, but in iPad it appears blink effect when there´s a transition.
How to remove blink in transitions for JQuery Mobile ?

Yes, you can update the included version of jQuery Mobile.
Download the desired version from jquerymobile.com, and replace the files within Dreamweaver's Configuration folder. Greg Rewis wrote up a helpful blog post that details this process: http://blog.assortedgarbage.com/2011/05/updating-jquery-in-dreamweaver-cs5-5/
I haven't run into any issues with the newer stable versions (i.e. jQm 1.1.0 and jQ 1.7.1/1.7.2).

  • JQuery Mobile in Dreamweaver CS6

    This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/whats-new
    Mulling the upgrade to CS6. This article says Dreamweaver CS6 ships with jQueryMobile 1.0 and jQuery 1.6.4.
    We now have version 1.1.0 of jQueryMobile with a suggestion to use jQuery 1.7.1 with it.
    Question: Can we, and how do we, update the libraries? And will the new versions work without a hitch in Dreamweaver CS6?

    Yes, you can update the included version of jQuery Mobile.

  • Dreamweaver cc jquery mobile with theme

    Hi everyone
    I m trying to create my first mobile site using Dreamweaver jquery mobile with theme. First I up date the jquery mobile  and jquery files. But after I have done this the icons are no longer available. I have tried several things including: pulling the icons out of the jquery mobile folder titled 'icons-png' and place them in an image folder. But no luck.
    Dreamweaver installs these files on the starter page
    <link href="jquery.mobile.theme-1.0.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <link href="jquery.mobile.structure-1.0.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <script src="jquery-1.6.4.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="jquery.mobile-1.0.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    and I  replace them with these files
    <link href="jquery.mobile.theme-1.4.4.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <link href="jquery.mobile.structure-1.4.4.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <link href="jquery.mobile.inline-svg-1.4.4.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <link href="jquery.mobile.inline-png-1.4.4.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <link href="jquery.mobile.icons-1.4.4.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <link href="jquery.mobile.external-png-1.4.4.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <link href="jquery.mobile-1.4.4.min.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/>
    <script src="jquery-2.1.1.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="jquery.mobile-1.4.4.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    I know this is a pretty basic problem. I cant find any thing on the web to remedy the problem.
    In advance thank you for your advice

    Thank you.  I was having the exact same problem.  I even upoaded the unmodified starter page, just in case it was something I did.  Inserting the viewport line fixed it.  (Now I need to go back and insert that line into each of the pages I was working on.)
    The question remains, however, as to why the mobile starter pages don't include that line in the first place.
    [edit] FYI - On Dreamweaver CC, it's under the "common" group within "insert".  (I would have expected it under "JQuery Mobile", but it's not there.)

    How to make slide images with Dreamweaver CS6? Please teach me.

    Hello
    in addition to Jon's hint, I'll send you some links to nice sliders (have fun with the different representations ):

    You only need to use the source code to implant these shows there where you want. In my eyes it would be the best that you use first a very new and blank DW file to perform (maybe in LiveView) the one or the other.

  • Jquery mobile with phonegap

    Hello All,
    I am planning to create a new mobile app project developed by Jquery and html5 css3, and integrate it with the Phonegap. also planning to get my dynamic data from wordpress site by JSON.
    my question here is it possible that JSON data list to  be as a listview data role even if its with a large number of items like over 1000 items with no crash! if not possible, what is the best solution to make a large dynamic list!
    Thanks

    @pk4ut You need to select "jQuery Mobile with theme (local). That's the same as using (phonegap). Thanks for watching!

    It is best to download scripts from Github and save them in your local site folder.

    Licensed?  Yes, but not necessarily for the web. Some licenses allow use in print or images but not the web.

In other words, a font owner can say "Sure, you can use my font but you can't alter it, you can't reproduce it and you can't distribute it." On the web, that's a deal breaker because you need to be able to do all three.

    Hmmm,
    I don't want to be the one to put you off.  I'm in over my head too but I really enjoy the pain of grappling with Dreamweaver.  It isn't really for the novice user and unlike any other app I know, it will be of greater benefit to those who have some knowledge of the underlying languages it deals with.  i.e. HTML, CSS and some others.  Strangely, I also hear from people that know the coding well, that they don't like/use/need Dreamweaver.
    If you only want one site, and don't really need to wrench your own unique identity from what you are doing, why not look at a free site from Wordpress.com?  I am sure you can use your own domain, and as you get proficient at it, you can expand what's there by paying for it.
    Just a thought

  • Can I use jQuery mobile with Apache Cordova in VS2013?

    Hi,
    I'm developing my first mobile app.  I just need to build a very simple form with a few text fields and a date picker.  I was wondering can I use jQuery Mobile for this?  I saw an example of using jQuery Mobile with Ajax to call a web service
    when user clicks Submit button and wondering if I can use that in VS  2013 Apache Cordova project.
    Also, is there a way for user to define data for a couple of fields, like their user id and password for the app?  How can that be done so users don't have to enter credential each time they use the app.
    Thank you
    Thank you

    No. You need an officially unlocked iPhone. Contract free DOES NOT equal officially unlocked. All contract free means is that you are not obligated to a contract, nothing more.
    In the US, only Apple sells officially unlocked iPhones.

  • Code works with Dreamweaver CS6 and not with CC

    <p><a href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="window.open('http://www.anything.comt', '', 'top=20,left=20,toolbar=0,statusbar=1,scrollbars=1,resizable=1')" title="title">name</a></p> works with Dreamweaver CS6 and not with CC
    [Edited Title and moved to Dreamweaver- JTS]

    I'm not quite sure I understand your point.
    I have just tested the Open Browser Window behavior in Dreamweaver CC. It creates slightly different code from Dreamweaver CS6, but it works correctly. This is what is created in the HTML:
    <p>my <a href="#" onClick="MM_openBrWindow('http://www.adobe.com/','mywindow','toolbar=yes,location=yes,status=yes,menubar=yes,scrollb ars=yes,resizable=yes')">link</a>
    </p>
    Dreamweaver CC also adds the following code to the <head> of the page:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
      window.open(theURL,winName,features);
    </script>
    The definition of the MM_openBrWindow() function is needed in the <head> for the code to work. But it definitely works OK.
    With regard to _self and _blank not working, I can't find any problem with the way Dreamweaver CC handles them.
    However, if you feel happier working with Dreamweaver CS6, you can download it from the following page:
    https://creative.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver
    Open the drop-down menu under "In this version", and select Dreamweaver CS6 as shown in the following screenshot:
    With Dreamweaver CS6 selected, click the large Download button at the top-right of the page. You can then download CS6, and install it alongside Dreamweaver CC.

  • JQuery Mobile with Adobe Spry?

    Hi everyone,
    I'd like to use a Spry dataset in a jQuery Mobile page. At the moment it doesn't work, only displaying the field names instead of actual data. It seems like nothing Spry works on the page, I wondered if the two are compatible?
    I created a separate page with minimal code with a Spry dataset and it works OK, so I guess the code is OK? When it's copied to the jQuery Mobile page no data is displayed, just the field names.
    Can anyone help? I'd really like to have Spry functionality in the mobile application!
    Thanks

    I have this problem also, as posted in the jquery mobile forum:
    What would cause Spry Validation to allow my Form to be submitted when the "Required" fields are left blank? Here is what is happening:
    - I leave the fields blank and click my "Submit" button
    - I briefly see the fields go Red with message "A Value is required"
    - Then the Form submits anyway (tables update/no errors)
    Here is the full code listing: http://cerberus.clearwave.com/jerry/spry_example_ctt1b.pdf
    Notice:
    - I'm using jquery mobile 1.1.0 on my page
    - I'm inserting data into two tables at one time (Lines 8, 196, 203)
    - I have Spry text Validation on only a few fields for now (ex. Line 483)
    Here is a design view of my page:

    I am new to Dreamweaver CS6 and trying to do  a website for a charity . They require to update and add photos to their website. Some one suggested wordpress.I want to design it in dreamweaver but can anyone suggest how to intergrate wordpress with Dreamweaver. There will be only 2 pages at the most the client will have to update every month.I tried to download word press but it automatically opens Dreamweaver CS6 and displays an error saying
    WordPress
      Error: PHP is not running
      WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed,      or PHP is turned off.
    i have it on the uniserver which has PHP already but what do I need to do for editable pages and secondly the error above, Please advice.

    OK, there are several issues here:
    Firstly, WordPress is a complete Content Management System. ALL of what you put up on that website will be done in WordPress, period.
    Here's how Dreamweaver can help:
    Dreamweaver can assist you in editing the stylesheet(s) for your WP page. But you'll need to add content using the WordPress interface, as all of your content will be located in a database and supplied from that Database.
    What Dreamweaver is complaining about is that you do not have a server set up as a testing server so that Dreamweaver can show you what is happening with the server-side code (php). In order to do this, you will have to install WAMP or MAMP on your computer.
    Or you could do what I did: Simply install WordPress on your remote host and don't use a testing server or designate that remote host as the testing server in Dreamweaver. (I have to confess, I never got MAMP to work correctly.)
    Many hosting providers give you "Softalicious" that will automate the installation of WordPress on your server. If you have that, simply run it and you're all set.
    If you don't, here are the steps to install WordPress on your server:
    Requirements:
    FTP Access
    An available MySQL Database
    The php software you wish to install
    Create the MySQL Database:
    Log into your Control Panel using the username and password provided by your Hosting Provider.
    Go to your "MySQL Databases" in your Control Panel (CPanel) and create a database
    Right below where you created the database, create a new user and password
    Underneath where you created the user, you'll see two dropdown boxes, one with the user and the other with the database name. Add that user to the database, giving it "ALL" permissions.
    *Note that the database and username has two parts: yourusername_databasename, and yourusername_username. For example, tester5_php1 and tester5_admin. You will need this for the software configuration.
    Upload files:
    Download WordPress from their site. Make sure you have the latest version.
    Locate the folder on your computer that contains all the files for WordPress. Create a new defined site in Dreamweaver, and drag the entire WordPress site into that defined website in Dreamweaver.
    Use Dreamweaver's FTP client to upload WordPress from your local computer to your remote host. On standard Linux/Apache webservers, you'll need to make sure that the Root Directory is set to /public_html/ or consult with your hosting provider to determine what the root directory is supposed to be.
    Run the installation:
    Typically accessing the installation folder directly in your web browser will lead you to the install page, otherwise you will need to refer to the documentation or README file for the location. Most of the installations are self explanatory and configure automatically. Either way, you will eventually need to provide the database information:
    Hostname: localhost
    db name: tester5_php1 (as you created in step 1)
    db username: tester5_admin (as you created in step 1)
    password: whatever password you created for the user in the database
    You may also me prompted to specify Administrative login information. This information is in no way related to your CPanel or hosting provider, but is the information you will need to log in to the software's administrative control panel.
    Once the installation is complete, WordPress will remove all installation directories so that nobody can mess up your installation by hacking in and re-running them.
    Log in.
    Now that you software is installed, it should give you a link to log in to the administrative control panel. This is where you will continue to develop this part of your website.

    I write about my new tests,  I've found this good Google documentation URL : http://developer.android.com/tools/publishing/app-signing.html ;-).
    I don't know if this method is more valid or even with my first method, but I downloaded the tools and I followed the method to create a keystore, with no success :
    I've created a keystore/ pair of keys, it's Ok :
      keytool -genkey -v -keystore certificatAutoSigne-2013.keystore -alias certificatAutoSigne-2013 -keyalg RSA -keysize 2048 -validity 10000
    But I don't understand where can I add the Google public key to sign my APK file, because the keystore isn't a text file !
    Secondly I've error message with this command line :
      jarsigner -verbose -sigalg SHA1withRSA -digestalg SHA1 -keystore certificatAutoSigne-2013.keystore MyAPKFile
    Obviously an APK file already signed can't be re-signed. I don't know how to creat APK file no signed with ADT, do you know ?
