[JS] [CS3] Attempting to access InDesign's own panels

Hello everyone
The JavaScript I intend to write for InDesign takes the currently selected colour in InDesign's swatches panel, then searches for the first instance of it (as an outline/fill of some text or an object, or within a style) in the active document.
I've searched the forums and Adobe's documentation, and am now pretty sure that to access any item in InDesign's panels I'd need to resort to programming a plugin. But I want to be sure: is JavaScript allowed any access to elements in InDesign's UI, specifically its panels?

Hi ram As Olav has pointed out, you need to decide whether to use COM or SDK. SDK is hard core - and I really mean HARD CORE. I consider myself to be a reasonably good VC++ programmer, but when I tried to develop an InDesign plug-in using SDK and VC++ I was completely lost. However it is possible to use VC++ to control InDesign via the COM object. A device which is not part of this management group has attempted to access this Health Service.

Has anyone found an answer to this yet? I have uninstalled/reinstalled the agents both manually and through the push. Rebooted the client, rebooted the sce server. Forced the group policy to reapply, forced the health agent to /reportnow and I still get the error. The client shows up under the agent managed section but under the health state column it shows not monitored. The clients can ping the SCE server by FQDN and RDP to it as well so name resolution is working fine.
On the the SCE server I get this in the log

Using the GUID that we got in the output file

ZCM 11.2.3 USB IMAG. - attempt to access beyond end of devic

this may have been covered before but i have searched and had little headway into the issue.
I am getting the following errors shown (thousands) on the "Alt-F4" screen whilst imaging.
[xxx.xxxxxx] sda1: rw=65, want=xxxxxxxxx, limit=xxxxxxxx
[xxx.xxxxxx] attempt to access beyond end of device
I have checked that the tntfs.ko has loaded.
I am using USB imaging with ENGL 8.0 and 11.2.3.
The drive is a USB 3 1TB with 10gb fat32 partition for boot and Remaining EXT4 partition for images.
The images will apply on some machines but fail half way through on others....
is it something to do with partitioning etc?
any ideas?

Doubt much could be solved on the Forums.
Two things I would recommend.....
#1 - Test all of the USB Ports to see if they all operate the same.
#2 - Look for Any BIOS upgrade.
If Neither helped, an SR may help.

You are getting the dump because you have not populated the field catalog properly. There will be some mistake in the structure which you are using. Kindly check the same.

My logic in prepareForDML() updates some attributes (shown in the snippet below) based on whether an insert or update is taking place. But, when I delete a line, I get the following error: JBO-27101: Attempt to access dead entity in EO. So far, I have not been able to catch this error.

Thanks for responding. Whenever I delete a line and commit, I get the error. And, since inserts and updates are all that I am interested in, I did not think that I needed deletion logic. The VO contains several EOs, but all are reference EOs that cannot be updated except for the main EO.

For the last 2days when I attempt to rent a movie And my Apple TV attempts to access the iTunes Store I get a message can't connect to server, try again later. I can connect to Netflix, Hulu and all other services. Any help appreciated.

Please try again later. I have no trouble connecting to Netflix, Hulu or any of the other apps. I also have no trouble connecting to the iTunes Store using my iPhone or iPad. I have also tried restarting the Apple TV and my router. Any help will be appreciated.

Ok if disk utility was able to verify the drive I doubt there is any problem.. are you trying to open a TM backup??
You need to mount the sparsebundle then check the actual info inside the bundle.
Don't use disk warrior.. if the disk has verified then unless you deliberately deleted files there is nothing that is going to do.

But if you have copied info to the TC that is now gone.. and the disk is ok.. I am not sure.. the TC will not have deleted the files itself.

We develop a server-side application which receives incoming https connections using self-signed certificate. It was all ok while we were using Windows 7 or Windows 2008 as OS, but when our clients started installing Windows 8 as server OS they encountered
big problem: application got unavailable in few hours after start.
In event logs we have following:
A fatal error occurred when attempting to access the SSL server credential private key. The error code returned from the cryptographic module is 0x8009030d. The internal error state is 10001.
After restart, application recreates certificate and all works normal few hours till next fatal error.
This
article did not help us. And I repeat that this error appears only on Windows 8 (we tested on Windows 8.1). Windows 2012 Server we did not test yet.
How we can solve this problem?

Since this article released in 2008,I suspect the code mentioned in this article doesn't supprot Windows 8.
And since the certificate was written by C#,I suggest you submit a new case on MSDN Forum as they will be more professional on your issue:

I'd think you have a Keychain problem (Keychain storing passwords and the likes).
When you are being asked, are you offered the checkbox, "Remember this password in my Keychain"? If so, check and see if it stops asking.

What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

Adobe photoshop elements 4.0 "Attempt To Access Invalid Mail" Message

Hope you can help?!
Every time I click on my adobe photoshop icon on my desktop I get the message "Attempt To Access Invalid Mail" message.
I have been on numrous forums to solve this problem and have done the following things to try and get rid of it so i can use the software;
1.uninstall and reinstall adobe photoshop
2. remove google chrome
3.tried right click on the incon and tried to check box run as an administrator however the check box is greyed out so no good.
4.shutting down my fire wall on my AVG software then trying to load it- but they failed to work as well.
i cant think of anything else and the forums suggested the above and it worked for some people but didnt work for me.
so please would some compter whiz come up with the solution for me. thank you for your attention on this matter.

Which OS are you using? Because there have been some issue with Win7 and PSE4. Try upgrading to PSE8.You can try the trial version of PSE8.
