Uncaught Error: NETWORK_ERR: XMLHttpRequest Exception 101 boot-11.1.1.6.0-1318.js:450
can you help me to solve this error??

Hi,
Did you ever resolve this? I am running into the same issue with my application.
I believe this is because the ADF javascript library attempts to load the JS API using XMLHttpRequest and because the server doesn't allow cross-site scripting we see the "not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin" error. I don't know how to resolve this though.

    Hi,
    the information that is missing in your question is "what release of Oracle JDeveloper" we are talking about. If you look at the new feature list for JDeveloper 11.1.2 then you see that @import is supported in that release (previously this has been filed as bug 10066954 that is fixed in the 11.1.2 release)

  • Not able to read sql script file in ADF mobile

    hi,
    i am trying to create some DB tables in SQLLite DB (similar to the HR sample app where it creates bunch of DB objects using hr.sql file in .adf/META-INF)..
    but i am getting following error at runtime. i placed the file in .adf/META-INF directory in my application.
    "sqllite returned: error code=14, msg = cannot open file at source...."
    what am i missing here?
    please help.
    regards,
    ad

    This how I have done it.
    This is the start method from my Listener:
      public void start()
          String databaseName = "mydatabase";
          File dbFile = new File(AdfmfJavaUtilities.getDirectoryPathRoot(AdfmfJavaUtilities.ApplicationDirectory)+"/"+databaseName+".db");
          if(!dbFile.exists())
                try {
                    this.initializeDatabase(databaseName);
                } catch (Exception e) {
                    System.out.println(e.getMessage());
      }And this is a custom method also in the listener class
      private static void initializeDatabase(String databaseName) throws Exception
          List stmts = null;
          try {
              ClassLoader cl = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader();
              InputStream is = cl.getResourceAsStream(".adf/META-INF/"+databaseName+".sql");
              if (is == null) {
                  // .sql script not found
              BufferedReader bReader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(is));
              stmts = new ArrayList();
              String strstmt = "";
              String ln = bReader.readLine();
              while (ln != null) {
                  if (ln.startsWith("REM") || ln.startsWith("COMMIT")) {
                      ln = bReader.readLine();
                      continue;
                  strstmt = strstmt + ln;
                  if (strstmt.endsWith(";")) {
                      System.out.println(strstmt);
                      stmts.add(strstmt);
                      strstmt = "";
                      ln = bReader.readLine();
                      continue;
                  ln = bReader.readLine();
              String Dir = AdfmfJavaUtilities.getDirectoryPathRoot(AdfmfJavaUtilities.ApplicationDirectory);
              String connStr = "jdbc:sqlite:" + Dir + "/"+databaseName+".db";
              Connection conn = null;
              conn = new SQLite.JDBCDataSource(connStr).getConnection();
              conn.setAutoCommit(false);
              for (int i = 0; i < stmts.size(); i++)
                  Statement pStmt = conn.createStatement();
                  pStmt.executeUpdate((String)stmts.get(i));
              conn.commit();
              conn.close();
          } catch (Exception ex)
              ex.printStackTrace();
          }My .sql scrip named "mydatabase.sql" located in the ADF META-INF folder.
    See this picture :

    Hi ILya Cyclone,
    Thanks alotfor the reply. Can you tell me where should i include this in the jspx page.
    Step 1)
    I have the js file as js/ifl_messages_US.js and i created a resource file as you mentioned: JS_FILE_PATH=js/ifl_messages_US.js
    Step 2)
    Then added the entry in faces-config.xml for the resource file as follow:
    <resource-bundle>
    <base-name>resource_en.properties</base-name>
    <var>resource</var>
    </resource-bundle>
    <locale-config>
    <supported-locale>en</supported-locale>
    </locale-config>
    Step 3) This is my jspx page. In which a table is dynamically created on page load. Can you help me where should i enter the "#{resource.JS_FILE_PATH}"

  • About "Upload and download files from ADF into blob type colum."

    hi
    Using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 I have tried the example available for download from this blog post by Jakub Pawlowski:
    "Upload and download files from ADF into blob type colum."
    at http://kuba.zilp.pl/?id=1
    First a thank you to Jakub for this interesting example.
    I have a question about a PDF file that I uploaded using the example.
    The file has a size of 10445518 bytes.
    After I upload that file, the blob column has a value with a size of 10445516 bytes, 2 bytes less.
    SQL> select file_name, dbms_lob.getlength(stored_file) from blob_table;
    FILE_NAME
    DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(STORED_FILE)
    ADF-DeveloperGuide-4GL-B25947_01.pdf
                           10445516If I download that file using the example, it has the same size as the blob value, 10445516 bytes.
    If I open the downloaded file, using Adobe Reader 8.1.1, it first shows this message:
    "The file is damaged but is being repaired."
    After that, there is not problem using the PDF file in Adobe Reader.
    I have tried this with both Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 2.0.0.11.
    I have also tried this with other (smaller) files, and those upload and download correctly.
    question:
    Why are those 2 bytes lost during upload?
    many thanks
    Jan Vervecken

    Hi!
    I can only post you my code that works for me and as I said I had same problems but can't remember what solved them. My code:
      public void fileUploaded(ValueChangeEvent event)
        FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
        UploadedFile file = (UploadedFile) event.getNewValue();
        if (file != null && file.getLength() > 0)
          // here I have some messages written and a call to the method on AM to save the uploaded file to the DB
      private BlobDomain newBlobDomainForInputStream(InputStream in)
        throws SQLException, IOException
        BlobDomain loBlob = new BlobDomain();
        OutputStream out = loBlob.getBinaryOutputStream();
        writeInputStreamToWriter(in, out);
        in.close();
        out.close();
        return loBlob;
      private static void writeInputStreamToWriter(InputStream in,
                                                   OutputStream out)
        throws IOException
        byte[] buffer = new byte[8192];
        int charsRead = 0;
        while ((charsRead = in.read(buffer, 0, 8192)) != -1)
          out.write(buffer, 0, charsRead);
       * Launch the upload - see fileUploaded() for actual upload handling.
       * @return null navigation event - we stay on this page
      public String UploadButton_action()
        if (this.getMyInputFile().getValue() == null)
          FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
          FacesMessage message =
            new FacesMessage(FacesMessage.SEVERITY_WARN, JSFUtils.getStringFromBundle("fileupload.emptyfielderror"),
                             null);
          context.addMessage(this.getMyInputFile().getId(), message);
        return null;
       * Setter for inputFile UI Component.
       * @param inputFile inputFile UI component
      public void setMyInputFile(CoreInputFile inputFile)
        this.myInputFile = inputFile;
       * Getter for inputFile UI Component.
       * @return inputFile UI component
      public CoreInputFile getMyInputFile()
        return myInputFile;
      }fileUploaded is a valueChangeListener on inputFile and UploadButton_action is as the name says the action for upload button.
    Hope this helps. If not, than your problem is probably not the same as mine was, although the message about file corrupted was the same.
    Next thing you can check in this case is if your file exceeds max file upload size. I don't know the exact default value, but if the file is too long I think this upload logic will upload only a part of the file and save it to the DB which can also lead to the same file corrupted error.
    You can set the max upload value in web.xml like this:
    <context-param>
    <!-- Maximum memory per request (in bytes) -->
    <param-name>oracle.adf.view.faces.UPLOAD_MAX_MEMORY</param-name>
    <!-- Use 5000K -->

  • How to build ear files for ADF application using Ant task

    How to build ear files for ADF applications using Ant. The ojdeploy ant task can not find application-level deployment profiles. I am trying to automated build and release for ADF application.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Shiva

    Hi Timo
    Thanks for your reply.
    I have successfully created ear file using ojdeploy on jenkins. however when am trying to auto deploy using WLDeploy ant task am getting the following
    error :
    weblogic.application.ModuleException: :oracle.mds.config.MDSConfigurationException:MDS-01335: namespace "/oracle/webcenter/quicklinks/scopedMD" mapped to metadata-store-usage "WebCenterFileMetadataStore" but its definition was not found in MDS configuration
    Please advise how to handle this.
    As am a newbie to ADF, could you please advise if it is possible for the ADF application deployments can be automated for different environments using jenkins due to this MDS dependencies.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks

  • Open file from ADF pages gives a problem

    Hi all,
    I have created with Jdev 11g an ADF page.
    In that page is shown a table with the files that are stored in the database.
    I use this code to show the file:
        public void showFile(BlobDomain  b,String filename){
            FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
            HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse)fc.getExternalContext().getResponse();
            response.setHeader("Content-Disposition","attachment; filename=\""+filename+"\"");
            response.setHeader("cache-control", "no-cache");
            try {
                InputStream in;
                in = b.getInputStream();
                ServletOutputStream out = response.getOutputStream();
                writeInputStreamToOutputStream(in, out);
                fc.responseComplete();
            } catch (IOException e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
            } catch (Throwable e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
        }This works for the first time a file is opened. But when the user then selects a different row nothing is happening anymore.
    What can that be?

    Hi Simon,
    This is the button:
                      <af:commandButton text="Open file"
                                        binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_pages_Meldingen.cb5}"
                                        id="cb5"
                                        disabled="false"
                                        action="#{backingBeanScope.backing_pages_Meldingen.openFile}"/>this is openfile:
        public String openFile() {
            BindingContainer bindings = this.getBindings();
            DCIteratorBinding iter = (DCIteratorBinding)bindings.get("XxahelpBezoekRapDocView1Iterator");
            Row currentRw = iter.getCurrentRow();
            showFile((BlobDomain)currentRw.getAttribute("Bijlage"),currentRw.getAttribute("Filename").toString());
            return null;
        }And how can I download in a popup??

  • Help:UIModel.xml file for ADF Tree with three level depth

    Hello,
    I am trying to create a DCTree with structure like this:
    root....branch1----child11,child12
    ..........branch2......branch21---child212,child212
    ............................branch22---child221,child222
    Because I can not create more than one binding rule due to the problem that "Add New Rule" button disappears after the first rule is created when I use the tool under Createbinding/Input/Tree to create the DCTree.
    Could somebody post or send me a script of the UIModel.xml file of the tree structure above so that I can work around this problem?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Edit HTML file in ADF

    Hi,
    I have a HTML file that gets displayed in the ADF application using the inlineFrame component.
    Wanted to have a Edit button, where the user can modify the HTML file, save the file and see the modifications.
    Really appreciate if anybody can provide any ideas/samples/links of how to do this in ADF application.
    Thanks
    SR

    If your html file is on the same server as your adf application then when user presses "Edit" button you can use standard java api to read this file from filesystem to some managed bean variable and show it in large multiline af:inputText component(in popup or new page), and when user press "Save" button, save content of af:inputText to file and then refresh af:inlineFrame(or just navigate back to previous page) to show changes.

  • Regarding Timo Hahn blog: Handling images/files in ADF (Part 2)

    Hello All, specially Timo Hahn :).
    I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0, ADF BC, ADF Faces, Windows 7.
    And I am trying to Handle image/files (download,upload,view for images) from database as explained in Timo's post
    http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/11/26/jdev11-1-2-1-0-handling-imagesfiles-in-adf-part-2/
    I installed the commons-io-2.4-bin.zip file, but I don't know how to add it to my view controller project.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you,
    But I have one question. I am not expert in Java, but from my understanding the Library is a collection of jar files. So the file I installed is considered a library because it has jar 5 files.
    suppose I want to add the entire library to my project, can we do this:
    By the way I tried to do this by:
    1- double click the view controller project, select library and class path, click the Add Library button.
    2- From the Add Library Window, i clicked the new button.
    3- from the create library window I enter a name and i class path I select the folder contacting these jars and then press OK
    But this did not work for me, and get these errors
    Error(30,29):  package org.apache.commons.io does not exist
    Error(125,13):  cannot find variable IOUtils
    Error(157,13):  cannot find variable IOUtilsBut when I add a single jar to my project it works fine.
    So, is it possible to add the entire library to my project?
