SAP Dispute & Collection Management

We need to implement SAP Dispute & Collection Management: we are working with a SAP R/3 Enterprise Release 4.70, and we don’t want to upgrade.
The recommended architecture according to SAP documentation in this case should be a multisystem one: FI-AR on SAP R/3 Enterprise Release and SAP Dispute & Collection Management on SAP ECC 5.0.
We would like to know:
•     Which component to install in SAP ECC 5.0 system
•     Do this/these components need a separate licence or are they comprised in SAP ECC 5.0.?
Thank you

  • Implementation of SAP-FSCM Collection Management

    Hi All,
    To implement SAP-FSCM Collection Management
Is it necessary that we have all the clients in SAP-AR or we can use a legacy to feed up FSCM-Collectionu2026we have this doubt that will define if we have to replicate all the accounts receivables from the legacy in SAP or just only take the information from the Legacy.
Please advise what should be the approach.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Suchitra

Please note FSCM can receive AR data from different systems.
You will need to create business partners in ERP for Collections Management, but you should be able to interface AR data into ERP6.

  • FSCM SAP Collection management prerequisities

Does sbd know is any submodule of FSCM prerequisite to implement collection menagement? Or it can be separately implemented?
Also, is there any interface to collect data from different SAP systems?
    Thanks
    Maya

    Hi,
1). You can implement only FSCM module alone. Its not mandatory to have Disputes Management or Credit Management. I have implemented Collections Management alone for one of my Customer.
2). Since IDES system is Demo system, alll modules and sub modules will be available as a standard set up. Dont think that we have to implement all sub modules to implement Collections Management
3). No Interface Required to implement Collections Management. Once you replicate the FI-AR customers into FSCM-Collections Management and do the collections management configuration, Automatically the data will be generated in Collections Management system also. So that you can verywell proceed with the Business Process..
Let me know if any concerns again...

    Hi Simon,
    Just simply check SMP > FSCM-COL > media library > 'other tab' as blow;

  • Collection Management for SAP 4.7 version

    Hi experts,
I would like to know if there is an add-on or something similar to Collection Management (FSCM) for SAP 4.7 Version.
    Thanks in advance.
    Raul

Collections management is a different module. It can work with 4.7, ECC5 or ECC6. If you are currently on 4.7, you can still use collections management, but you have to follow installation option for 4.7.
It can be installed on the same system on if you using ECC6, otherwise it is installed on different systems, and linked through ALE.

  • SAP Collections Management technical data

Does sbd know which release level, support package, licences are necessary for implementation of SAP Collections Management?
    Thanx
    Maya

With ERP 6.0 (without any enph), you can implement most of the functionalities available in Collections management.
Enph 5 have several other enhanced functionalities available, which you might want to have a look at as well.
Also refer to the technical guide for CM available on Media library on service.sap.com

  • Collections Management - Notes Stored at Document Level

    Hello everyone,
I am working Collections Management in SAP ECC 6.0, EHP1.  I am wondering if it is possible to add notes to specific documents while in the Process Receivables screen.  I know that Dispute Cases or Promises to Pay allow this functionality, but I am wondering if it is possible without creating one of those case types.
If this isn't possible, are there any user exits that will allow it?
    Thanks,
    Jason

    Jason,
In short the answer is no.
What sort of notes are you looking to hold?
You are right you could create a P2P or a Dispute to add notes.
Against the a/c document, you could look to add some notes in the "service for object" part of the document.
Then when you drill into the document, you will be able to see the notes.

  • Collection Management Module

    Hi all gurus,
Can somenody tell me how many hours a single FI-consultant might have to spend to configure the complete Collection module? I am the only SAP resource at the client side with no ABAPer or any other FICO team. Neither do I have a MM consultant. Please guide me with the resources required to configure Collection management module.
Please be realistic guys as I have to mention it in a meeting to save my job.
    Thank you,
    SONY

    Hi Sony.
OK to start with you wont need any MM resource.
In terms of the config, it can be pretty easy, but you need to consider how the client want to use the system?
Have you designed the Collections Org structure?
Do you know anything about Collections Management, from a SAP part of from a business process part.
The system is fairly open, so I would allow some time for ABAP as the process is held together by BADI's.
You also need to have a good understanding of the Business Partner processes, how they work, and how they interact with customers.
To give you an example of a Dispute and Collections Management project. We had around 60 days of FICO time, around 60 days of ABAP time, around 30 days of Workflow time.
This included the design of the system, the build of the system and the full three test cycles, Unit testing, Integration testing and User Acceptance testing.
This does not include the data migration, which you need to consider and the training.
I would suggest you contact a SAP PArtner consultancy to assist you.

  • FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS --- FSCM Collections Management  --- V.V.V Urgent

    Hello,
The main purpose of this BADI is to send fi-ar data to FSCM.
The BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS is active, so When we create a customer in XD01, we are able to see that in Business Partner Tcode BP.
Our business requiremet is to create two additional fields to the worklist for Collection Management. So we have used the method COMPLETE_DATA  which is available in BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS and populated additional fields which are required by the business.
We have to execute BADI to get two additional columns in the Collections worklist, but If i execute the BADI, i am getting the message that "BAdI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS is active". If i dont keep the BADI Active, i cant get the A/R data to FSCM.
Please let me know what are the Pros and Cons If i setup "FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS" as a background job in my current scenario to get AR-DATA into FSCM (OR) Should i have to definitely setup "FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS" as an Background Job.
Please advice me how to proceed.
    Thanks
    Rajanikanth

    Rajnikanth,
Did you extend the BAdi to have additional fields sent to collections? for the fields to be available in the worklist i think there are two other BAdi's to be created. if you have figured out let me know as we are doing the same adding a couple of fields from the old credit management of SAP (FI-AR)
    Thanks
    Vikram

  • Error while creating Business Partner in Collections Management

    Hello All,
I am trying to create Business partners for Customers in Collections Managment, specific to country Luxemburg. The error I am getting says that, 'Tax number category LU2 does not exist' and 'There is no BAPI field to screen field assignment'.
I have checked V_TFKTAXNUMTYPE table and LU2 is not defined there.
Appreciate if some one can help to locate where the system is picking up 'LU2' from, and help me fix this issue.
    Thanks in advance,
    Madhavi.
    Edited by: Madhavi99 on Nov 19, 2010 3:52 PM

    Krishna,
Using T-code SM30, check the table V_TFKTAXNUMTYPE,  and you probably will not see an entry with CA0 in the table. This should be added here in this table (I am not sure how, may be it is a patch sent by SAP or an OSS note..We opened an OSS note and will let you know when I hear from SAP).
With out adding CA0 in the above mentioned table, you might be using the field for VAT registration field while creating BP master data. I figured out from the way we were trying to create BP, Country code (for example CA in your case) 0 ie., CA0, is for the VAT registration number, Country code1 (for example CA1) is for tax number 1, and CA2 is for tax number 2 fields.
After the above mentioned table is updated, using BP tcode, this code 'CA0' should be assigend to the business partner number that you are trying to create under identification tab.
I hope, I made it as clear and understandable as possible. But, if you have any quesitons, please let me know.
    Regards,
    Madhavi.

  • Creation of Worklists in Collections Management

    Hi,
In FSCM collections management, I did all the config and created Business partner and moved the FI-AR data to collections management without any error.
Now, in Tcode UDM_SUPERVISOR. I dont find the entries transferred to collections management. Could anyone please let me know, whether I missed any step or how can i find the entries in the worklist.
    Thanks in advance!!!!
    Regards,
    Ameet

    Hello,
    1) Make sure the master data for your BPartner is updated (either manually or automatically) Role UDM000.
    2) Please copy the standard strategies delivered by SAP (transaction UDM_STRATEGY). It happen once that the strategies were not doing anything at runtime...
    3) Adjust your entries in UDM_GROUPS with the new strategies.
    4) Run the worklist selection again (UDM_GENWL). Make sure you mark the flag "Distribute Items" and "Start Online".
... now check the UDM_WL_ITEM table.
If nothing appears, post the log given by UDM_GENWL.
    Regards, Jaime.

  • Posting a incoming payment collection management

    Dear All,
I am posting an incoming payment for an overdue item using the t.code f-28 and transfering the payment using FDM_coll_send01.
The output details is saying that no payments updated for the customer 'x'
If i open and see the worklist the overdue line item  of that customer is not there and in the payments tab also the payment is not appearing it is not appearing.
Any idea of why it is not getting updated...
    thank you
    vassy

    Mahesh,
The logs are green and to my knowledge everything has been activated.  Mind you, everything is working, including automatic synchronization of Business Partners from customer master data and open items, promise to pay etc in Collections Management.  The only piece that is not working are the payments not coming across.  The table FDM_COLL_LASTPAY is blank and thus they don't come across when you run FDM_COLL_SEND01.
One thought I had was that the reason it is not working is because there is no company code specific data in our Business Partner master data, since company code is part of the key of the FDM_COLL_LASTPAY table.  We followed the following guide to setup the syncing of customers to Business Partners:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/b001aec0-b12d-2d10-3faa-b416e6de0270
As a result, when a customer is created, we get the following tabs in corresponding Business Partner - Address, Address Overview, Identification, Control, Payment Transactions, Status and Collection Profile.  I do not see any company code specific data at all.  I have not been able to find any information on how to bring company code level data to BPs.  Not sure if that is the right direction.
    Best regards,
    Anton

  • FSCM Collection Management with FI-AP

    Dear SAP Experts
I am using FSCM Collections Management with FI-AR. I have linked my customer and vendor in FI-AR & FI-AP and selected clearing between the two master records, does anyone know if it is possible to pass FI-AP data (e.g. vendor credit memos) to FSCM Collections Management so that they appear on a worklist? I cannot move Contract Accounting for various external reasons.
    Thanks
    Simon

    Hi Simon,
Yes you can. Please, make sure if this is vendor has the role that can be identified as it like a customer. Normally, by BP transaction you can see this role.
The BP was used because this scenario. Since 6.0 version, the vendor can be customer and customer can be vendor by using unique code or BP number.
    Please, check the documentation below:
Customer/Vendor Integration - Business Partners - SAP Library
