Jsession being reset in ssl

I having trouble with my session being reset within an ssl
page in a shopping cart application. I redirect from a non ssl
domain to an ssl domain and pass the #session.urlToken# and my
session is still intact. From there I then submit the page to
itself as a relative link (<form
action="payment.cfm?#SESSION.urlToken#" method="POST") and for some
reason I loose my session! I checked the cfid, cftoken and
jsessionid and noticed that the sessionid on the action page does
not match the jsession being passed in the url. So it seems my
session is being reset for no apparent reason.
Occassionaly this does work, which although inconsistent
seems to depend on whether it came from a domain that had www in
from of the domain or not. The results never seem to be consistent
even though I pass the urltoken to the ssl domain on the same
server.
Can anyone tell me what could be causing this erratic
behavoiur?

For some unknown reason, I've had mixed results using
SESSION.URLToken. Most of the time I simply use cookies so I don't
have the issue but when I have to pass the tokens, I specify them
myself:
payment.cfm?CFID=#CFID#&CFToken=#CFToken#&JSession=#JSession#

I believe you are missing the point. The OP has already restored from back up, but failed to include a specific app in the back up and is trying to recover data for it, which in this case is not possible.

Try resetting your device by holding down both the home and lock buttons for ~10 seconds or until the device restarts, ignoring the power slider.

Tax is being reset automatically after puting manually............

I'm using SAP 8.8 PL11 and SAP 2007B PL19. I'm having one problem, while doing GRPO generally system allows to change the tax amount manually. But here system is allowing me to change but the moment I click tab or any button or simply adding new item, the tax amount is being reset as it is then again I need to change it manualy. If the line items are 1 or 2 or 3 then its ok I can manage but if its more than 40 then how a user can manage such a hectic task?
If someone faced this issue then just let me know.

Hello Rahul - we faced a similar issue...
What we did was:
1 - Enter all of the items,
2 - Go back and change the tax dollar amounts on affected lines and,
3 - Added PO or Goods Receipt PO.
But the biggest problem was that the tax amounts did not follow through on the following document when using "Copy To" - there we had to do the whole tax entry all over again...
This worked for 2007A PL05 - hope it works for you too...

Profiles being reset after windows updates?

Hi All
I'm having issues with Outlook 2013 SP1 resetting our users profiles after Windows Updates have been applied. Their profiles are being reset whilst their previous profiles are being renamed to "BACKUP of <profile name>".
Office 2013 x86 has been deployed via VL Media onto Win7 x64 machines and we are distributing the ImportPRF registry key via GPO (set to Update) in order to customise the profiles on first run. (basic email account and attaching a default PST file)
It appears that after windows updates are applied outlook is triggering the first run process again and therefore resetting the users profiles back to the standard set in our PRF.
We used this method to configure Outlook 2010 and for the years of deploying Office 2010 we never had any issues. Can anyone suggest what might be going on here or what might have changed in Office 2013?

The HECI interface is being reset (T500)

I've got a big Problem with my T500.
I hope anyone can help me.
Sporadically i have a big HDD activity for about 1 - 2 minutes and i have the feeling that my thinkpad is freezing
After that there is the typically sound of "Hardware wurde entfernt" --> "Hardware wurde hinzugéfügt"
In my ErrorLog there are the following Events:
1. The HECI interface is being reset.

1. Reinstall Vista
2. Deinstall the Intel Tools for the AMT and Turbo Memory and Storage Manager
3. Deactivate AMT in the Bios
But the Problem is not solved

After a lot of testing i've got still the same Problem but only the following event entry:
the embedded controller ec did not respond within the specified timeout period. this may indicate that there is an error in the ec hardware or firmware or that the bios is accessing the ec incorrectly. you should check with your computer manufacturer for an upgraded bios. in some situations this error may cause the computer to function incorrectly.

How to stop just one item being reset when sumbit is pressed?

How can i keep the value of just one item when the submit button is pressed. This field will always be the user id of the user logged on so i dont want it to be reset. I have tired doing a simple query to select the id everytime the page loads but the value then appears null when i do an insert statement to create a particular record for the user in a table.
Anyone any ideas?

Right I could see how the APP_USER would work but it wouldn’t work in this situation.
To be more specific I want the id of the user which is called student id to stay the same all the way through the application as there id refers to them. What I have is that when a user logs on it takes them to their details and a menu part. One of the options is to enter some documents relevant to them. So when they click this option a new page opens showing a report of all the current documents as well as a form where you can update, insert new and delete documents.
When you load the page the report and form work fine with the correct student id being passed form the pervious page. If however you create a document all the fields in the form get reset. I therefore want a way of stopping the student id from being reset when you create or delete a document. Basically if the page refreshes.
I can run an sql query that gets the correct student id if the field is null and displays it correctly in the form but for some reasons (im guessing cos its a result of a query) when it tries to process this when I submit the field is null.
Any ideas as this one has got me

I am just wondering why me AppleID is randomly being reset every few days to every few weeks? As far as I can tell, I have not been compromised by bogus charges to my account or any altercations to any games. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, how can I eliminate this from happening anymore? I keep coming up with relatively hard passwords, but yet it keeps happening. Any replies or help is much appreciated.

If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

Permissions being reset on shared files

Hello,
I'm sharing some files with 2 other uses in my office (all running 10.6) and having an issue with permissions being reset. The documents are in my Public folder, file sharing is turned on, and the users accounts they use on my computer which are given permission read/write permission via the Sharing options in the system preferences.
If I start with a file giving all users read/write access then one of the users on another machine writes to the file the permissions seem to reset and no one else other than the individual who just wrote to the file is able to access it until I reset the permissions on my machine again.
This is quite frustrating... any ideas what is going on here?

Resolution is being reset at startup.

At startup, right after desktop image, top menu and dock loads, monitor resolution is being reset so only part of the desktop image fits on the screen. Going to Display Preferences and switching resolution does nothing. Starting up in Safe Mode and hooking up a CRT monitor instead doesn't change anything either. Also tried to reset PRAM and trash com.apple.windoserver.plist
The problem first appeared while I was using computer. Screen resolution suddenly changed.

If you have never shared your password with anyone then your account was hacked. NOT your iPhone, your Apple ID. If you use the same password for other accounts any of them could have been hacked, and your password obtained from that other account. If your password was simple it could have been hacked by brute force. If it is a word found in any dictionary especially. Or if there is anything personally identifiable about it (nickname, pets name, address, name of someone you know).
The really important thing is to get it resolved QUICKLY with Apple Security, and to change all passwords that might have been stored in an iCloud backup of your phone.

How to prevent user password being reset to the same password?

As you all know, domain admin has the power to reset user password. Let's think of the following scenario:
if an admin lets a user reset his password to use the same string, this action means he could nullify company policy on password which requires user's last N passwords being recorded in the history.
We could very well imagine that the admin reset his own personal password in order to bypass company policy.
I have asked partner forum to see if there's a way to prevent such thing, but the reply I got is "No".
I wanted to know if anyone of you have any idea to prevent such thing from happening?
Or if it's possible to get the hash value of users past N password to see if he's always using the same password?

Has anyone Experienced TCP resets using SSL in 3l

We are using forte 3l and have built a forte library using C that
encapsulates RSA SSL-C encryption. We call this library from forte as a web
client to make a request of a Netscape webserver for an https connection.
After the conversation the webserver sends a FIN and then the forte side
ACK's. Then the forte side sends a write notify package and then a FIN. At
that point the webserver sends us a Reset. This Reset is the problem
because it is happening every connection which is creating a great deal of
overhead. Any Ideas?

Joel, I am having the same problem you described. I have read of similar posts on PrintPlanet.com. Someone there thought it was a different text engine or something in CS4 which may be causing the problem.
I don't know what causes this but I believe it can be traced to a previously created file in CS3 is saved as a CS4 document.
The fonts associated with this problem for me are always Gill Sans, Palatino and some form of Helvetica. There may be others but these are the ones we notice the most.
Today I worked on an InDesign CS4 file. When I opened it I was given a missing font warning. I went to Find Font and it was different typefaces of Gill Sans that was missing. When I changed the missing font to Gill Sans Regular entire lines of text disappeared. I closed the document without saving it and reopened it. I did the same thing in replacing fonts. This time no text disappeared. Not reflowed; not white; not hidden—gone.
This is what I have been seeing for the past few months. The disappearing text is random and cannot be duplicated, though fonts may disappear in some other place. You never know where text will just disappear.
The workaround I have found is to export your file to an INX document and reopen it in CS3. You have to replace all missing text before saving it as INX, though. To my knowledge CS3 has never had this happen.
The workaround, though it works for me, is annoying. I'd like to know what to do to resolve this issue. What's the use in having CS4 if you can't trust it completely.
I use a Mac running 10.6.3. I also have running Suitcase Fusion 2.

Settings being reset upon shuttdown

Recently (as of today) my MacBook Pro has been having issues "remembering" my settings/preferences for various applications/tools. Several miscellaneous things are being forgotten regardless of my continuous efforts to reapply them:
View options for icons
Background image
iTunes Library/Playlists
Safari/Firefox bookmarks
Time Appearances
Widgets (it was completely reset to default)
etc.
Right before I first encountered the problem I noticed that my dock was behaving oddly. It would not magnify upon mousover and there would be no text indicating the name highlighted application. I had shrugged it off just thinking it was momentarily glitching but upon restart all of these settings/preferences were reset.
From there, I proceeded to reapply them in hopes that this wouldnt happen again but alas it has. It is quite the annoyance.
I have FileVault running if that helps at all (I've had a few problems with this computer before because of it). Any ideas?
