Jsp changes not registering

I am trying to customize the look on my iFS pages. I have made simple html and text changes. However these changes are not being implemented as I still get the old login.jsp page.
I have tried deleting the compiled pages at
9ifs/ifsjsps/_ifs/_files/_ifs/_webui/_jsps
to force a recompile but it still displays the old login.jsp. Please advice.
bemall

Well, apparently not...I have been updating the jsps under root/ifs/webui/jsps/ . This is what I was previously doing and when it did not work I went ahead and deleted the compiled pages at root/ifsjsps/_ifs/_files/_ifs/_webui/_jsps. The pages are recompiled but the changes are not implemented...any ideas on this, it is really a pain as I cannot do anything and have tried all possible solutions..Thanks.

  • URGENT PLEASE HELP!!! jsp changes not geeting reflected

    Hello all,
I am very new to java/jsp.
I have a jsp file, which was working till I made changes . I made changes to it like changing the title. I complied it, and compiled with no errors. I deployed it in a remote server . cleared the cache of the server and bounced it. When I test it it doesn't reflect my changes.
please provide some suggestions .. what should i do..
    thanks in advance.

I understand that it should be able to detect the change and recompile . but still the problem persists... Try using a complete refresh in the browser (ctrl+F5) so that it reloads everything.
It determines if a JSP needs to be recompiled by looking at the date/time of the jsp.
Make sure that the time of the JSP is recent, otherwise it doesn't bother to recompile it. Can occur if the server machine and your own machine have different times set.
What server are you using? What version?
Where are you putting the JSP file?

  • Site changes not registering

help. iWeb won't update all the changes I make to my website. I've got a mobileMe account. it got some, but not all. "publish site changes" and "revert to saved" appear grayed out. never had trouble before. weird. Help?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What should be different on your page?
Have you cleared your browser's cache (CommandOptionE for Safari) and reloaded the page?
Are you using iWeb's build in FTP client? If so you might try publishing to a folder on the hard drive and using a 3rd party FTP client like the free Cyberduck to upload the files. This tutorial gives some tips on that: Old Toad's Tutorial #2 - Uploading only those published new or newly edited files when using a 3rd party FTP client.

  • Java Webconsole ELResolvers for JSR not registered with the JSP container

Trying to rebuild a LDAP server running Directory Server 6.1. Just installed Solaris 10 u9 on a SunFire V240. Loaded most recent recommended patch set dated 2011.02.02. Proceeded to load Directory Server V6.0 from native packages using JAVA ES Installer. After Directory Server installation and initialization the Java Webconsole is running but brings up a blank page login page. Note: Did not test the Webconsole prior to Directory Server installation. hi,
    it is tomcat-6.0.20, JSF-RI 2.0.2 (Mojarra)
a whole bunch of libs and jquery4jsf (though really buggy in this manner, because all components could you rewrite for JSF2-components, etc.)
Unfortunately it is somehow a config error, because i haven't got it earlier, since i changed PhaseListener and Authentification with JAAS (sample from Ed Burns:
    http://weblogs.java.net/blog/2006/03/07/repost-using-jaas-jsf, but with JDBC-based authentification)

  • Changes made in jsp are not reflected

webpages are not reflected after modifying jsp pages
    what i need to do??
    thanks in advance

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply,
I am using CQ 5.5 and was installed service pack 2.
    1. We make package from SVN or through maven build to the CQ dev server.
    2. JSP changes perfect but /var/classes java files contains old code(i.e new JSP file complitation is not happening )
    3. Only when we restart server, /var/classes reflecting with new code other /var/classes have old code only.
What is best procedure to re-compile JSP with out Restart server.

  • Changes in jsp page not reflecting

    Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to customize the self registration page in OIM, i.e.
when a user enters uid, it should be checked for its availablity, that is if the user id is already present in OIM then we may suggest him a set a user ids from which he can select.
For this, I am planning to have a button "Check UID availability" next to uid text field and then on clicking that button we may proceed with our functionality.
To achieve the very first step, i.e. creating the button, i edited /tiles/tjspSelfRegistrationTiles.jsp and then created and replaced the old webapp.war file with the new one and then run patch_jboss.cmd file which builds the file successfully.
But, the problem I am facing is that any changes made to this jsp are not being reflected.
Any pointers to reflect the changes made in jsp would be helpful.

Well, thats a strange case with JBoss. I never find these JSP's on the deploy directory. The approach which I follow in such cases is as follows:
    1) Take a back-up copy of XellerateFull.ear file from <OIM_HOME>\xellerate directory.
    2) Extract the contents fo this file to any temporary directory. This will contain a war file xlWebApp.war
    3) Extract the content of this file as well.
    4) Now you will be able to see all the JSP folders and struts xml etc.
    5) Update the required JSP.
    6) Bundle the xlWebApp.war file again.
    7) Bundle the XellerateFull.ear file again.
    8) Now since you have a complete ear file. Directly copy this to JBoss deploy directory. Overwrite the existing file:
    <JBossHome>\server\default\deploy\
    9) Restart the server.
Now all the files would be visible in the directory location as mentioned by you.
    Thanks
    Sunny

  • PDF properties (meta tags) can't be changed (error 0x80040154 - class not registered)

    Hello,
Changing PDF properties (meta tags: author, title, comment, theme etc) in  Adobe Reader as well as in Windows Explorer are disabled rsp does not funtion.
    1. In Adobe Reader "File properties", the overwriting rsp insertion of text is disabled in grey.
    2. In Windows  Explorer, following message window appears: "Properties change: Due to an unexpected error, properties can't be changed - Error  0x80040154: class not registered"
(Sorry for the bad translation, but I am running the German version)
Is there a technical explanation and  solution for this problem? In other PDF programms, the change of meta data does work fine.

@MadEyes: I found out you had to set a site address in wordpress the hard way, i set it for a dns host and I couldn't get into the wp-admin page or load any sort of image or css.
At the moment i have a server root directory with a wordpress folder on it. Eg:
        (/srv/http)/wp/
and a  test index file in the root. Eg:
        (/srv/http)/index.html
The index file doesn't show up publicly, but it will on the local network.
I set the apache port back to 61669 and tested with canyouseeme.org. I got (i will email you the ip addy):
Success: I can see your service on X.X.X.X on port (61669)       >EDIT: If I close apache, then it fails. Start it back up, it succeeds.
Your ISP is not blocking port 61669
I also nmap'd myself and got this:
        Host is up (0.025s latency).
        Not shown: 996 closed ports
        PORT     STATE    SERVICE
        23/tcp   open     telnet
        5989/tcp open     wbem-https
        6881/tcp filtered bittorrent-tracker
        8080/tcp open     http-proxy
A port forward is definitely set up, so i dont know how much I can trust this (I did make 6881, but them program isn't open).
    Any of this any help?
    >EDIT: Excerpt from Webmin: "System hostname    localhost.localdomain" this doesn't seem right.

  • TS3048 The keypad is not registering with my macbook pro - changed batteries but still not working.  Bluetooth says it is connected.  Suggestions please.

My bluetooth numeric keypad is not registering with my macbook pro - changed the batteries when the light started blinking - but won't work.  Bluetooth says it is connected.
    Suggestions please.

Your MBP sees the Bluetooth keyboard but won't pair with it probably because the keyboard is pairing with another computer or device nearby. If you had previously paired the same keyboard with another device, go to the other computer or device and either unpair it or have the device "forget" the keyboard. Then you will be able to pair the keyboard with your MBP.

  • JSP is not getting displayed in add portlet repositery

    Hi,
I have registered two servlet in provider.xml and I was able to
view that servlet as a portlet in add portlet repositery.
After that I wanted to add one more JSP as portlet under same
provider. So I have kept JSP in same directory where servlet is
kept. I have added JSP as portlet in Provider(i.e. provider.xml)
and given appPath and appRoot for that JSP. Whenever I am trying
to view my provider by giving following URL
    http://servername/servlet/myprovider
    I am getting message -
Congratulations! You have successfully reached your Provider's
    Test Page.
in same page I am able to view my all portlets. in that list I
am able to view my JSP as a portlet.
Now I want to add JSP portlet in my page at that time that JSP
portlet is not getting displayed in add portlet repositery.
Can anybody tell why JSP is not getting displayed in portlet
repositery ? What should I do to get it displayed in portlet
    repositery ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Biren

You have to refresh the Provider. They are a couple of ways to
    do it.
    1. Take a look at the release notes for PDK-Java.
    http://portalstudio.oracle.com/servlet/page?_pageid=468&_dad=ops&
    _schema=OPSTUDIO
It mentions and auto reload feature that will refresh the
provider on the PDK-Java side when you make changes to the
provider.xml. When you add portlet, you simply refresh the
repository in portal and add the new portlet to a page.
    2. If you do not have the auto_reload parameter, you simply need
    to refresh manually.
    a. After updating the provider.xml, restart the HttpServer where
    your PDK-Java Provider is located.
    b. Refresh the Portlet Repository
Both these do the same thing, and should solve your problem

  • TREX7.1 - Program not registered

    Hi to all experts,
I am implementing TREX7.1 revision 36 (latest) which is standalone, but I encountered the error - program not registered while creating the RFC connection in admin tool. Previously the connection was working but it happens when I switched the RFCSERVER to "single thread (all hosts), deleted the old RFC connection and recreate the new one.
I have tried the following methods:
    1. removed TREX and reinstall it again.
    2. executed rfcexec u2013g<program id> -a<gateway host name> -x<gateway service> (it seems like nothing has been changed) - I registered it in SAP server, am I correct?
    Thanks in advance.
    BR,
    Nancy

    Hi to all experts,
Problem solved once i restarted the SAP server and recreated the RFC connection in TREX server.
Another issue now, when i run the "python runInstallationTest.py", error occurs as below:

  • Error 'Program not registered' while testing RFC connection PI_RFC

    Hi Basis Experts

    Details COMPONENT: SAP-Gateway
    COUNTER: 15866
    MODULE: gwr3cpic.c
    Details RETURN CODE: 679
We tried restarting the JCO-RFC provider service in VA,also tried restarting the Gateway service, tried registering the RFC using below command
    rfcexec u2013g PI_RFC -a bp1xeuaa202 -x sapgw01
    rfcexec u2013D PI_RFC
the command didnt gave any output also in SMGW tcode we didnt get the entry(PI_RFC) under system type as registered server.
Also we tried changing the Gateway hostname and service name in SM59.
Still we are facing the same issue, can anyone please help us in resolving this issue.
    Regards
    Syed

    Hi,
It seems to like problem with your program is not registered.  As suggested by spantaleoni, you can go through.
Here Program Id  must be case sensitive.  Once again check with your program Id.
And, you have to register your program id in Visual Administrator.
    Goto  Visual Administrator:
In that Select Cluster>Server>Services-->JCo RFC Provider
Then enter the Program Id and gw host & service.
    Hope this helps to you.

    P.Rajesh
