JSP-trying to sen parameter with the requestin a link.

Hi!
I have a page ShowAllCustomers where I show All Customer that are in a databas.
They are stored in A List of Customer objects
In the end of the row I hav ea update link.
In this link I have a link to next page and I also want to pass the custimer number so that I can get this specific customer and load her data into the <input....> tag.
Problems The customernumber value is not passed in the variabel (kNamn).

What can I do? I shouldn't be so difficult to get it to work.????

Okay, you are mixing HTML and JSP. Remember to insert a value from JSP into the HTML output you need to use <%= ... %> around the JSP value. Additionally, the href quotes must be completely surrounding the link address... so the JSP value must be inserted between the quotes, not after. So the final code looks like:<a href="UpdateCustomer.jsp?kNamn=<%=kund.getFNamn()%>">As a warning, there is a limited subset of characters that are allowed in the URL, any special charactes (like ;, ', ", comma, umlaut-characters, spaces, ...) may cause errors. So you maye wamt to pass the parameter value through java.net.URLEncoder.encode(string, "UTF-8") to protect against these errors:
